Might as well post my idea, even though it's not that great.

Description: Trainers go through park taking pictures of their various encounters, and try to get the most pictures. Rangers take the Trainer through the park?

Plot : The park is being shut down! The reason given is that it's just used for capturing creatures, and that's already down everywhere. Lovers of nature though, do not want this fate to arrive, and thus start taking pictures to show what the park is truly about.

Others : Camera is required for this.

Description: To catch whatever Pokemon they're assigned.
Plot: Trainers get a letter sent to them telling them they're the best. They will recieve a pass to come to the island and catch a certain Pokemon. The Pokemon they catch will then be sent to me.
Others: They get prize money for catching me Pokemon.

I like this idea, however, we get to keep the assigned Pokemon instead. Or, we get a scavenger hunt list, and we go through different areas trying to capture our assigned mon. We get points depending on what stage of evolution their on, and then at the end, we get to keep 3 mon or so and some prizes.

    Ex. of the points system:
Let's say you're assigned Deino (And others, but for the sake of the example, just Deino).
Catching Deino is worth 10 points, Zweilous 25 points and Hydreigon 40 points.

    See what I mean?

    Re: Mission RP Archive/Ideas

Description : Participants aid Rangers in attempting to apprehend a group of poachers. Rangers themselves focus on apprehending the poachers themselves as well as securing a safe escape route should the trainer be overwhelmed by the poachers.
Plot : Poachers have infested the park. In general, wild Pokémon in the park are more cautious, or perhaps aggressive, in their interactions with humans due to this. The Ranger HQ has sent out a call for trainers to aid in the capture of the poachers to protect the park and restore normal function. The trainers themselves could have their own purposes for agreeing to help, most likely wanting a piece of the reward for capturing the poachers or just wanting to help out the park.
Others : The Poachers are Pokémon trainers controlled by the rangers; perhaps 2-3 poachers are confronted by each trainer, each with 2-3 Pokémon (arbitrary numbers, trying to make it not too long but enough for a challenge), battled via the same methods as wild Pokémon are in the park, except for of course there being a trainer behind the Pokémon. A very small number of wild Pokémon could be met as well, possibly granting aid if the participant convinces them of his/her goodwill (though they could just as easily be a hindrance if angered).

Eh, a random idea I had, thought I might as well throw it out there.

I still think they should just give me the Pokemon. Anyways, we have a point system thing we're trying to start. Also, I like your idea Siless.

Perhaps we can run mini events. Different people each time or something. I don't know yet.

    Re: Mission RP Archive/Ideas

@Bee : What I get from your Idea, you'd like to be the center host? Hahaha. So that people hand over you the Pokemon you assign them to catch?

@Siless : I love your idea. Absolutely brilliant. I've always thought we should have some group of people raid the park, take over all the checkpoints/areas, and have our trainers to confront them in each area, recovering them. Each Area (pokemon Area) would be filled with 2 Poachers and Poacher Leader. Pokemon Battles to defeat them, and recover the checkpoint. I could perhaps incorporate this idea of mine and merge with yours.

Possibility of your Event to shine : 99%

@Tyranitex : Lol. Although I'd appreciate if you could use the form and create some new Ideas instead of throwing in one that's already being considered/discussed/etc :p Goodies can be anything. From Park shop items to Event-Only items. Depends on your Idea of course ;)

Ohh, I so totally didn't read that part on top. Anyways, yeah, that's the idea. They give em all to me.

In all seriousness, I do like Siless' idea as well. I think we can do something with that (though it sounds like Mule already has an idea.)

    Re: Mission RP Archive/Ideas

I'm thinking to add Turtwig's idea in as well. Usage of Cameras. Hmmm. Perhaps there could be different phases of this Mission. First : Go into park and capture images of key scenarios in the Park (key scenarios to be presented by Rangers). E.g Poachers doing some fishy stuff, etc. Then second phase would be the action phase. Infiltrate and recover all captured checkpoints. What do you think, Bee? Any input from Chainy is also welcomed!

    Re: Mission RP Archive/Ideas

Description: The ranger guides the trainer through an adjacent area (or multiple areas) to round up Pokemon that have fleed their natural habitat due to a disaster. You are provided with ten Hyperballs and are allowed to bring in one Pokemon. You capture as many of the ten Pokemon on your encounter list (including Legends?) and drop them at the Outpost of the disaster area. You get points for creativity, capture, and endurance.
Plot: Mt. Deckbi has erupted! Drought in the Great Lakes! Disaster! Peril! Time to call in some help from trainers. Round up Pokemon and bring them to Outposts.
Others: Creativity is graded by the ranger and is out of 40 points. Capture is out of 50 and is based on how many Pokemon out of the 10 you were able to capture. 5 points per Pokemon. Endurance is based on how well you Pokemon persisted through the course. This is out of 10 and is calculated by averaging the remaining health after each battle and dividing it by 10. Round to the nearest whole number. Extra 5 points if you make it through all 10 encounters. No healing items and no healing moves in between battles. Total score is out of 100.

I actually like this idea. Maybe have them meet up at an area after they've captued the images and then send them out to secure the checkpoints. This is a good idea.

    Re: Mission RP Archive/Ideas

Well, I've thought of something else - and you still get your Pokemon, Bee:
    OPTION 1:
Description: Bumblebee here gives multiple trainers a short short list of the Pokemon he wants - I would limit it to about two for each trainer. Then, the trainers go on their mission (with a ranger of course), trying their best to go around the different zones of the park to catch the mons Bee wants. This is where Flammen's suggestion comes into play.

The trainers get to encounter lots of different Pokemon, yes? Well, if he/she wants that certain creature he/she may battle it and to capture it. Of course, those who get to complete the mission get rewards - also the first one (maybe three) who get to complete the event get some other prizes. Those Pokemon Bee wants will go to him - though I would say not more than, what, seven from the whole lot? Say the other Pokemon on the list are just extras of some sort? Also, the trainer gets ten encounters per zone (different ways of going through the park as well - maybe three different paths). They have ten chances to try and get what Bee wants them to get - ranger rolls a 100-sided die, encounter chance varying depending on the trainer's post quality, and 15% would be the lowest.
Plot: The trainers are the best catchers out there and are instructed by Bee to do his dirty work. XD
Other: I'm probably exaggerating on the limit - it's probably too big.

    OPTION 2:
Description: Bee has a list of all the mons he wants.

Trainers start at a random area in the park - determined by rolling an 8-sided die (1 would be Great lakes, 2 Woods, refer to this thread). Once they finish their 10 (?) encounters in that zone, they warp to the next one; this time determined by a 7-sided die (say he first went to the Woods [rolled a 2]; then the ranger rolled a 6, that would be Meteor Valley - not Mt. Oktori [don't include Botanic Gardens any more). After their second zone, the rangers roll another die (this time 6 sides) - say it's 3, that would be the Botanic Gardens. The Trainer who fins the most of Bee's Pokemon wins - or we could also implement Flammen's idea of points. Oh, and, they have a 20+% chance of encountering any one of the wanted Pokemon - again, depending on their post quality.
Plot: Bee is in need of new Pokemon, and fast. These chosen trainers get to go through the park (maybe with a small fee) with their Pokemon to help Bee. And trainers must remember, it is a race. Also, they get to catch Pokemon for themselves in the process. This ends once all the Pokemon are found.
Other: Once a Pokemon from the list has already been captured by a trainer, the others don't have the chance of trying to catch that certain Pokemon - though they may try to catch it for themselves if they do get to encounter it later on.

    OPTION 3:
Description: Trainers stay in one zone of the National Park there 'till the end of the event (say around three or four weeks - but that's just me) trying to catch several certain Pokemon. They have a limit of around 20 encounters - though the main mission is: they just have to complete their list. Now, to please Flammen, trainers are allowed to catch Pokemon they encounter, though, perhaps, rangers will be a bit stricter. Of course, if there are less Pokemon in that area (Outer Heavens, for example) their max number of encounters goes down to keep things fair - and vice versa with the zone that has loads of Pokemon (eg: The Great Lakes). Trainers, each turn, have a 10 to 15% chance of encountering any Pokemon from the list. Number of Pokemon on the list will probably 5 to 10-ish.
Plot: Never mind giving mons to Bee. Trainers are given a list of Pokemon to catch - and they are in only one zone of the National Park. They are not racing with each other this time, though they must take note they have a time limit.
Other: --Optional: Trainers don't get to catch the other Pokemon they encounter.

Did I elaborate too much? Yes, I think I did so. :dumb::dead:

Oh, and, I love your idea a lot, Siless!

    PS.
I'm probably stretching the max for how many mons Bee can get far too much. Also, I've pretty much thought out how much the fee could be and the max no. of Pokemon and whatnot while typing this. ^And that's just me expanding on other people's ideas DX

    Re: Mission RP Archive/Ideas

Also, to add in a bit of a story/plot. The Poachers are after the 'new' inhabitants of the Park. B/W Monstahs. Would make a hell lot of a sense now, wouldn't it? So yes. Under someone's order, they're here to take away all B/W mons and leave the park with only Pokemon from the previous Gens. :thumbd:

@MuddyMudkip : That's very detailed. Hahaha. Good work. I don't mind the idea of a Scavenger Hunt. Apart from hunting just Pokemon, Bee can assign them to hunt down certain items. (eg Evolution Stones). I also like the idea of "First one to complete it, wins". After all, it is a Scavenger Hunt.

@To all others : I'll say this one final time, please don't arrange the prizes before hand. This thread is just solely dedicated for ideas and just ideas only. Because it would certainly be disappointing if you don't really get the prize you actually vouched for when you pitted in your Idea. Besides, I'm always lenient with prizes and make sure everyone get their fair share, so don't worry! Oh, and it doesn't always mean I give away Pokemon as Prizes though. Although there are occasions, yes. For example our very first Mission RP. The only reason I gave away mons as Prizes is solely because it was our very first Mission RP and it was successful.

    So yeah, no more "We'll have Pokemon as prizes, thank you" or anything along those lines ^^;;

I like your idea MuddyMudkip. I won't steal mons from you guys, but I'd sure like to come up with a list of Pokemon for you guys to catch for that scavenger hunt list. Also, I want to be that 'someone' in your post Samule ;]

Yeah, sorry I haven't chimed in yet, but Uni is destroying me atm. I want to be able to take the time to look over these ideas closely - most of them look very promising at a glance though. Going through this thread in detail is one of the higher things on my holiday to-do list.

    Re: Mission RP Archive/Ideas

Team WAR. Participants would be split into two teams. One team is some evil team, and the other is a team of good people/Special Force Rangers.

Evil VS. Good basically. The evil team wants to take control of the area because there is a rumor, or a much guarded legend, that there's a huge secret right below the land of the National Park. Unknown to many others, the bottom of the Park lays the Creator of all Creators, Arceus. To control Arceus, the person would need all 17 Plates, and Arceus would be forced to follow that person's command. (History: Plates were created by some evil man, blahblahblah).

Now, the entire RP will happen underground, since Arceus is apparently deep down beneath. This should open up completely new ideas for a RP and all kinds of possibilities. A temporary Pokemon location map might be needed to be drawn out, so that it can be adjusted accordingly to the underground positions. When they reached the underground, they would find out that it is actually a huge labyrinth, featuring all kinds of trapdoors and stuff. Your aim as an evil participant would be to reach the center, most bottom core (the labyrinth leads downwards). There is a translucent panel over there. Once stepped on, and if the holder possess all 17 Plates, the panel would light up, and reveal a dimensional portal. And ... WELL THAT'S ALL FOR NOW.
