Individual Run: BumbleBee

It was his first day on the job and it was quite a enjoyable experience. So far everyone was quite friendly with him and got him setup in his own office as well. After having his box shipped to his office and waiting for a full hour they came. He grabbed his items and began to fixing them around his room. His desk was now stocked with items and his walls were now freshly painted a olive green. His Pokemon helped out as well as Druddigion was moving his filling cabinet over a bit and Ambipom was dusting the place over with two dusting rods in both of her handtails.

Susannoo, his Lucario, was the only person among the group wasn't doing much aside from supervising the group. Kiryu gave him a stern look which caused him to get up and start helping. Just as the group was finishing up, his secretary came rushing in and handed him a letter saying he was needed immediately at the Mt. Oktori outpost as a trainer was going to be their soon. He gave her a swift nod before she rushed off to head somewhere else. He didn't get to catch her name but he figured he'd get around to it.

"Alright then. Susanoo and Saki come with me. We need to head out to Oktori so get ready to get cold."

"Yes sir," Susanoo said as he bowed and Saki mewed as well.

He went out to the transporter and hopped in with the two. It was a bit squished inside with Susanoo and Saki. The two transported to the frosted plains of Mt Oktori and he sighed, his breath visible in the form of a vapor cloud. He leaned against the wall of the outpost and waited for the trainers arrival.

“You ready for this thebadassmofowhoeverlived?” A large headed boy asked his Houndoom. “Ready to tear some shit up at the National Park?” thebadassmofowhoeverlived growled in an approving manner. Both badassmofo and thebadassmofowhoeverlived were headed into the National Park on this day. The two, along with their other team of kickass partners were going to Mt. Oktori in search of more potential members to add to their posse. This particular team was part of an even bigger team of sinister people whose identity is still unknown. They may have came here to expand their group, but a more menacing plot is yet to unfold. This was just the beginning of it all.

They had finally arrived on the island, which was quite bigger than either of them had expected. They weren’t going to be able to complete their mission in one day. In fact, it was going to take several trips here to complete. He wasn’t sure how long it was going to take, but all he was worried about at the moment was phase one, which was Oktori. Since it was a pretty big area, he was going to have to split the team up for a bit so they can complete their mission. Badassmofo brought out three black Pokeballs with a stange insignia on the top. He tossed them besides him. Out of the first Pokeball came a white and long bodied Pokémon. His head was small in size. His small triangle shaped ears wiggled around freely as his facial expression quickly lit up. Adorning purple spot on his forehead sparkled a little as the morning sun began to rise over the ocean horizon. The pair of long, yellow tipped whiskers followed the movement of his head as he looked around, realizing where he was. He took a battle stance and readied himself for his orders.

Out of the second Pokeball came a bipedal lizard-like Pokémon. His large oval-shaped eyes looked from Archforce, over to me. He knew it was time for our mission. His perfectly evenly spaced mohawk was flapping to the left as a strong wind blew by. As he caught his balanace, he pulled up his pants-like skin and fixed his jacket-hoodie looking skin. He ran one hand through his mohawk to make sure it was still nicely done. Once satisfied he nodded that he was ready.

Out of the last Pokeball came a large, blue, hunchbacked, reptilian creature with medium-sized wings shaped like thistle leaves. He glared angrily around his and roared loudly. His were arms were a bit longer than his legs, but his legs were much stronger and more powerful than his arms. His thick, medium-length tail swayed angrily from side to side as he opened his snout and roared one last time. Though he had no teeth, he did have small fang-like protrusions sprout from his jaws that were incredibly sharp.

“Don’t give away our location damnit.” Badassmofo said to Snapdragon. The large, monstrous looking dragon hung his head sadly, which meant he was sorry. Badassmofo pulled off his backpack and set it on the ground. He pulled out three smaller bags and handed them to the three. Snapdragon, Archforce, and Headstrong each picked up a bag.

“We’ve rehearsed this many times, you know exactly how to plant these. Inside the bags you will find a GPS that already has programmed the exact coordinates of where you’ll need to plant these devices. Once you have planted them, rendezvous back with me and we’ll finish off the mission. Remember, don’t get caught, especially you Snapdragon. You’re the only one that doesn’t really belong in this particular area. Anyways, let’s get this mission started then. You guys go ahead and head on into Oktori. We’ll be your cover while you go in. That way, no one will suspect anything. If something does come up, we’ll find a way to distract them.”

With that, the trio headed into the Woods area of the National Park and made their way towards Oktori. Badassmofo and thebadassmofowhoeverlived made their way to the Ranger’s Headquarters. They walked into the office and saw a woman on the phone.

“Hey!” Badassmofo said to her. She raised a finger, signaling for him to wait until she was off of the phone. “Oh no this bitch didn’t.” He mumbled to himself. He took the phone from her and snapped it shut, hanging it up. “I’m talking to you. Where is my ranger?” She looked at him in disgust and asked for ID. “He is already at Oktori, which is out this door and somewhere over there. Bye!” Badassmofo just grunted. “How rude.”

He walked out of the office and pulled out his GPS. He saw that Archforce, Snapdragon, and Headstrong were already in Oktori fulfilling the plan. He quickly walked behind the office and took one of the Ranger’s bikes. He hopped on and rode off.

Many minutes later, he came across the entrance of Mt. Oktori. The place was cold as heck, but nothing that he couldn’t handle. After all, he was a badassmofo. He got off the bike and looked besides him. Thebadassmofowhoeverlived had been running besides him. He had now too come to a stop. They both looked around, trying to spot their Ranger. He finally spotted a ninja looking ranger resembling guy standing near the entrance. He was sort of blending in. As badassmofo walked closer, he noticed the guy had ugly shoes, his hair was sort of cool though.

“Hey. You.” Baddassmofo said as he did his cool walk over towards the ranger. “You my bit- I mean Ranger? I’m ready to get this shit started. I’m badassmofo and this is thebadassmofowhoeverlived. Thebadassmofowhoeverlived barked loudly and shot many streams of flames into the air that exploded like fireworks. That was actually a sign to Snapdragon, Archforce, and Headstrong that they were now entering Oktori.

 

You my bit- I mean Ranger? I’m ready to get this shit started. I’m badassmofo and this is thebadassmofowhoeverlived."

Turning to the person, he was baffled at what idiot parents would even attempted your kid that name. He realized that he could be just screwing around and all but it was his name on the registry form. He took on last look of it on his XTranceiver and sighed. At least the Pokemon had a somewhat decent name. But who was he to judge what a Pokemon would be named. He shook his head and went back to his list. He only had the Houndoom on him at the moment. Looking at the Pokemon, Saki gave a disinterested snub of her nose while Susanoo looked at her and shook his head. Their internal Psychic powers were keeping them warm while Kiryu kept a few warmth packets inside of his pockets. Opening up the gate, the ranger welcomed the person inside and began to lead the way towards Oktori. The snow was freshly fallen so it was crisp and made fresh crunching noises. He was followed by his Lucario and his Espeon hopped on his back. Smiling, he scratched underneath her chin as she nuzzled him right back. Her jewel glowed brightly in the sunlight as snow fell onto it and turned to water.

"So what are you looking for here?" Kiryu began to climb some of the the rocks that were slanted at an angle. Lucario easily hopped towards the top to survey the area and warn us of anything unusual going on. He made sure to note out the slippery rocks that were glazed over with sleet. They would then make it to the top of the ridge and a fork in the cobblestone road was leading them towards two different directions. One was towards a cave that was enclosed and damp, not very appealing to say the least. The other was towards a small forest that enclosed many fighting types that often tested their abilities in the harsh snowy terrain. Kiryu turned to him and decided to let him make the choice on where to go. The snow seemed to whip up around them as a blizzard was in today's forecast. Saki warmed his neck as she cuddled around it and began to nap.

Badassmofo looked around and noticed that it wasn’t as cold or full of snow as he had expected. The excess of snow that should have been here from the winter snow was all melted from the beginning area. It looked pretty regular on the mountain, at least from the pictures of this place that he had seen. In those pictures, it showed the area covered in snow, even the beginning of Mt. Oktori where he was standing. He could only guess that the Rangers must have cleared a path or something by melting the snow.

Badassmofo couldn’t help but to wonder how his Pokémon’s mission was going. Had they arrived at their designated locations? Had they planted their devices? He wanted to call in and check, but he knew he could no longer get away from his Ranger. That guy was now stuck with him for the entire expedition, which was alright for now. He trusted in his Pokémon because he knew what they were capable of. He knew they could handle it, but like a worried parent, he wanted to check on them. That didn’t fit with his ‘bad ass ‘attitude he was playing off, but as long as nobody knew, then he was okay.

"So what are you looking for here?" His Ranger asked, snapping him from his concentration. He hated when people distracted him from his train of thought, but he wasn't paying attention enough to give a snappy, rude remark.

“Umm, just some badass Pokémon.” He replied. “Pretty much looking for a Mienfoo, Scraggy, and Timburr, but if anything else of interest comes my way, well then I’ll capture it too.”

Badassmofo kept his eyes peeled for any interesting Pokémon. He hadn’t come across anything yet that seemed appealing to him, so they just kept walking. He saw many Ice- type Pokémon, but the only Ice type he was looking for was Cryogonal. Anything else could just get the fuck out of his way. Although, now that he thought about it, a Sneasel wouldn’t be too bad either. However, the amount of Fighting types he wanted outweighed the amount of Ice types he wanted. He knew in order to get what he wanted, he was going to have to use a repellant.

Badassmofo heard a loud screeching sound coming from in front of him. He saw a Piloswine coming his way. “What an excellent time to use my repellant.” He thought to himself. He quickly pulled out a vile from his bag and snapped the cap right off. He promptly sprayed himself with the repellant and sprayed some on his Ranger to keep any and all Ice types away. The Piloswine got one whiff of the repellant and quickly headed in the other direction. He wasn’t interested in a Piloswine, nor was he interested in wasting his time battling a Pokémon he didn’t want. That just seemed pointless in his eyes.

“Where are good Fighting type Pokémon located in this area?” He asked his Ranger, snapping his fingers as he expected a prompt answer. He hoped they weren’t too far away from where Fighting type Pokémon usually dwelled. He wasn’t too keen on walking long distances at the moment. He for sure wanted to leave as soon as Snapdragon, Archforce, and Headstrong completed their part of the mission. He hoped that by then he would have captured the Pokémon he came here for. It was a shame the park only allowed you to take out three Pokémon. If he found a fourth one that he liked, he was going to have to smuggle it out. That was going to be tricky, but he was more than certain he could pull it off. It was more his ego talking, because he had never smuggled anything before, nor had he ever committed a crime before today. This was actually his first mission with his organization. He wanted to impress them, so he knew he had to do an excellent job today, otherwise, they’d kick him out. The only thing he cared about now was advancing in their ranks. After seeing how powerful and rich they were, he knew he had to get there one day.

 

“Umm, just some badass Pokémon.” He replied. “Pretty much looking for a Mienfoo, Scraggy, and Timburr, but if anything else of interest comes my way, well then I’ll capture it too.” the guy said from Kiryu's previous remark.

Kiryu just decided to take him towards the wooded area where most of the fighting types trained and fought each other. They began to walk towards the wooded area and watched as some of the Pokemon scurry away from them as they walked towards the woods. There was a Piloswine coming up towards them but before Kiryu could say anything, the trainer began to spray himself and Kiryu with what seems to be an Ice Repellent. It was mostly a sweet smelling aroma that seemed too much for Kiryu. In a swift motion, he knocked the phone up a few inches from his grip and knocked it over to a tree before it was impaled by his sword. Taking a small handful of his clothes, Kiryu sniffed himself a little. It was too sickly sweet for him. The sound of hissing filled the air from the remains of the Ice Repellent.

"That seems to be enough don't you think?" he said as he removed the katana and cracked his neck.

Moving on into the forest, making sure he didn't wander off, he began to hear some rustling going on around some bushes in the area. He turned to Saki and Susanoo, both immediately disappear from around them. They were going to go survey the area around them to check for any nearby Pokemon they might encounter. The rustling was heard again and he saw a two figures moving across the landscape. The figures could be made out ever so slightly. He watched and found out that the two figures stopped behind a tree. He waved at the badass to move closer, making sure not to wander off. He peered over the bushes and found two Riolus snacking on some Chesto Berries. The small blue bogs were nibbling on the tree like fruits before noticing the rangers shadow looming over them. One immediately ran and hid behind a tree while the other stood his ground and prepared to defend the other one. They seemed to be siblings of some sort. Riolu was a Fighting type Pokemon so Houndoom, even though he was fully evolved, was still part Dark type. This would not be easy.

"That seems to be enough don't you think?" he said as he removed the katana and cracked his neck. Badassmofo couldn’t help but to laugh. The thought of this guy trying to intimidate him humored Badassmofo. He wasn’t sure how old this Ranger was, but he was sure he could take him, well, at least that is what he thought. He wasn’t one to get frightened easily. He took a few seconds to catch his breath and sprayed his Ranger one last time. Now with the Piloswine gone and him having a good laugh, Badassmofo was ready to move on. He wasn’t too sure which way to go, so he hoped his slightly competent Ranger would lead him in the right direction.

He quickly pulled out his GPS to see the positions of where his Pokémon were located. The small blue dots hadn’t moved, so he knew they were still doing the task at hand. He knew it was only a matter of time before one of them finished. It had to be done in a certain order, so communication amongst themselves would be key and important in finishing the mission. Although he'd like to, he couldn’t communicate with them though, as that would give away their mission and they’d be compromised.

Badassmofo and Thebadassmofowhoeverlived followed their Ranger into the right side of the mountain. They weren’t going into the side of the mountain, nor had they any plans to. They just wanted to stick to the sides, because that was where all the Fighting Pokémon more than likely would be. They probably wouldn’t like to be inside of a mountain because it was too contained. They wouldn’t be able to train properly there with limited space. We would have a better chance of finding strong Fighting types outside of the mountain. The even stronger ones would be higher up the mountain since the living conditions would be harsher, giving them something to prove.

After a while of walking and still not finding anything, Badassmofo was beginning to get annoyed. He was quite surprised that not one Pokémon they had passed interested him. So far, nothing of worth or a challenge had come their way. Suddenly, his Ranger stopped him dead in his tracks and appeared to be listening quietly for something. Badassmofo tried to listen in, but he couldn’t hear a thing. The Ranger then motion for him to follow him silently. Badassmofo hated not being told what was going on, but he didn’t say anything. He just assumed something good was coming, at least for the sake of his Ranger it had better be a Pokémon.

After several seconds of quiet walking, he finally saw a small opening between two bushes. He looked between them and saw two small, blue, dog-like Pokémon eating some type of berry, Chesto he assumed. They quickly got up and stood on their small, black colored legs legs. Their blue tails quickly stood erect as they prepared to fight. Badassmofo could see the determination to defend themselves in their red eyes through their black mask-like skin. Badassmofo made his way out of the bushes and challenged one to a battle. One of the Riolu stayed to fight, the other ran for cover.

"Want to fight him?" His Ranger asked.

“No shit, now back up and stay out of my way for the time being.” He said, making a clicking sound with his tongue. He pulled out a small device that resembled a Pokedex. He had received this gadget from the organization he was working with. They had gave it to him to scan and analyze Pokémon. He was supposed to scan any rare Pokémon with it for them to see. He pressed the small green blinking button and a lime green light shot out and hit the Riolu.

Riolu – the Emanation Pokémon. Riolu are Fighting type Pokémon that stand around two to four feet. They weight between fourty to eighty pounds depending on their diet. Like their evolved from, they have the abilities Steadfast and Inner Focus, but special ones have the ability Prankster. Riolu are playful, energetic, and loyal. When fighting, the aura that emanates from its body intensifies to alert others if it is afraid or sad. Although there is no clear distinction between male and female Riolu, chances are that the Riolu is male based on their gender ratios.

“Well, this sounds like quite the badass.” Badassmofo said. “He is a Fighting type Pokémon so be careful when you’re battling him.” Thebadassmofowhoeverlived nodded. He knew what he was up against. He wasn’t going to back down from this battle just because of a type advantage this wild Pokémon held against him.

“Okay, start this battle off with a strong Flamethrower mixed with Will-o-Wisp.” Badassmofo commanded. He was going to have to attempt to cripple the wild Pokémon’s attack power before he got a chance to use it and do some real damage to Thebadassmofowhoeverlived. Thebadassmofowhoeverlived took his battle stance. He knew the Riolu would be trying to read his stance and try to predict his movements using his Aura, however, he knew as well that his ability to do this wasn’t as great and wouldn’t be as effective. He wasn’t going to let his guard down though.

Thebadassmofowhoeverlived arched his head back and formed several small blue-colored fire balls that levitated around his mouth. He then took in a deep breath and began to ignite the flames inside of him to launch out a Flamethrower attack. As he released the breath of air, a long stream of orange and white hot flames shot out and headed straight for Riolu. The small blue orbs from Will-o-Wisp attached themselves to the stream of flames.

Badassmofo wasn’t sure if the Riolu could predict those exact movements and was going to be able to dodge this attack. If he did, he was going to have to come up with a different approach on this. He knew he was going to have to battle as quickly as possible, but he was also going to have to be as effective in order to capture this guy. A Riolu would sure be a great add to this mofo team.

 

“Okay, start this battle off with a strong Flamethrower mixed with Will-o-Wisp.” the boy said as his Houndoom released a steady stream of fire with ghostly blue fireballs around it. The Riolu smirked and saw the move a mile away as he jumped past the attack and into the trees as stream melted all of the snow in a cylinder type mark. The Riolu was moving faster, faster then the Houndoom for that matter. It was using Agility and speeding around the field quickly. Suddenly, a giant purple eye surrounded the Houndoom, trapping him in a purple barrier before it vanished. Kiryu was sure that was Riolu's Mind Reader ability. Any attack would hit the Houndoom without fail. Any accuracy dropping moves or evasion boosting moves would be of no use. Suddenly there was a massive cyclone that weaved in and out of the trees as it hit the Houndoom square in the side and sent him into a tree. The Riolu was peaking out from a tree and snickering as its Vacuum Wave went off without a hitch.

"I think he has the Prankster ability. A rare catch indeed."

The Riolu was waiting and watching, darting between trees and looking for his next options. He could see the Houndoom get up and brush some of the damage off. Vacuum wave didn't have all that power in it but it would hit first most of the time. Kiryu smiled under his mask and grinned. Saki curled up to him and watched with interest.

The sneaky bastard had been reading his thoughts and indeed managed to counter his moves without really taking any damage. It was quite annoying. Badassmofo knew though, that Dark type Pokemon’s thoughts were harder to read than most other Pokemon, so he was going to use that to his advantage.

"I think he has the Prankster ability. A rare catch indeed." The idiotic Ranger said. Badassmofo wanted to say something like a smart remark, but decided to keep his mouth shut for the time being and focus on the battle that was taking place in front of him.

“Use Sunny Day. Make this place as hot as possible. After you do that, I want you to use Inferno. Concentrate and you can do this.” Badassmofo called out to his partner. Badassmofo knew he could do it, he just had to focus, and in this weather, it would be easier for thebadassmofowhoeverlived to do so.

Thebadassmofowhoeverlived would shoot a large red ball into the sky. The ball would then expand into a sort of a net that would engulf the area. That would cause all the rays that came from the sun to intensify as they past through. The area would immediately grow hot. Then, the Houndoom would create a purple flame on the top of his head. The flame stretched up high, at least four feet into the air. Then, an orb of light blue and dark blue fire forms in front of Houndoom's flame. He would then fire a spiraling stream of the light blue fire surrounded by rings of dark blue fire towards Riolu. That move almost always caused a burn, I was hoping for that and for the attack to do a decent amount of damage. Thebadassmofowhoeverlived boosted Inferno because he was a Fire type, and if the Sunny Day worked, the move would be boosted even more.

Badassmofo wasn’t quite sure what the Riolu would pull next, but he sure hoped Houndoom would be able to land the hit. It was much needed in order to capture him. Badassmofo knew that if it missed, this was going to be a long battle, he didn’t have time for that. At least not with the mission that was taking place as this battle took place. He wanted to check how that was going, but his attention was needed here at the moment. He knew for sure though that he had to wrap this up as quickly as possible without taking too much damage. He believed thebadassmofowhoeverlived could perform this move without much difficulty, but the Riolu was a little Prankster, so who knew what would happen.

 

“Use Sunny Day. Make this place as hot as possible. After you do that, I want you to use Inferno. Concentrate and you can do this.”

The hell hound shot a ball of fire into the sky and made the place instantly sunny. The snow began to melt off the trees and rocks to make it more of a plain than anything else. The hell hound was obviously please with this and began charging up an Inferno attack. The Riolu wasn't going to take it lightly however. There were many trees in the area and the Houndoom would have to be extremely accurate in his attack in order to not burn down the trees. Riolu wasn't taking that lightly. It darted left and right between the trees as it dug up the ground and rammed into the dog. It was a Bulldoze, a ground type move that slowed the opponent down one level. It would then follow up with a Bullet Punch attack as it would hit square in the stomach, forcing out the fiery blast and slamming Riolu into a tree. Combined with the sun and the burn it would received would be intense. The Houndoom on the other end wasn't looking so hot as well. It had taken quite a bit of damage itself. This would be a close match.

@MaverickKaiser Changed my characters name to Emit and Houndoom's name is Snapjaw for the duration of the RP.

“Great job with that last attack Snapjaw!” I said. “Now all we have to do is lower his health low enough for us to try and capture him. Not sure how much we need to take down, but we sure will do a decent amount of damage with this next attack… or at least we should.” Snapjaw barked in agreement. I could tell he still had over half of his health, perhaps even three fourths of his health, which was good on our part. The wild Riolu still appeared as if it had over half of its health as well, but I knew it didn’t have as much as Snapjaw did.

Snapjaw eyed the small Emanation Pokémon, careful not to take his eye off of the little guy. He knew that if he did, Riolu would see that as the perfect chance to strike and hit Snapjaw with some non attacking moves. We were going to have to be careful with that. I ran ideas in my head, trying to figure out what attack would do the most damage while also hitting with good accuracy, and only one move came to mind. Flamethrower. Flamethrower was a pretty powerful move by itself, but many things were powering it up here. The sun was one of them, giving it the biggest boost no doubt. It also received a boost from Snapjaw’s power, and the fact that he was a Fire type Pokémon boosted it more.

“Alright Snapjaw. Use Flamethrower. Try and be as precise as possible. Relax and hit him hard… but not too hard that you cause him to pass out.” Snapjaw growled loudly, his way of letting me know he understood while also trying to intimidate his opponent. I didn’t know whether that was effective or not, but that much didn’t matter to me.

Snapjaw arched his head back, taking in deep breaths. He was bringing up the flames that dwelled inside of him. Once they were at his throat, he released the flames in a stream towards Riolu. As that took place, I took out a small vile labeled Calming Fragrance Plus. It was some sort of aroma that relaxed the nerves of the Pokémon that smelt it. That would help me capture Riolu with more ease. With that, I pulled out a small, round, black and red sphere from my backpack and quickly enlarged it. It was a Hyperball. I lifted the ball over my head, taking careful aim. Once I was satisfied that I would hit Riolu, I launched the Hyperball from my hands and watched it hurl towards Riolu, moments behind the Flamethrower. If I caught it, the battle would immediately end and I could carry on with my plans here at Oktori. If it failed, then I would have to spend more time devising another plan to attempt to capture this Pokémon once more.

 

The trainer was just bombarding the Riolu with different things. First was the Riolu becoming entranced with the Calming Fragrance. The sweet smelling odor put it in a trance like state. It wavered back and forth before leaning up against a tree for support. That didn't last long as it was hit square on the tiny Pokemon and sent it flying. The Riolu was struggling to get up, telling the other one to flee. The other did so as the trainer threw a Hyper Ball at the downed blue jackal. With three shakes, the deed was done and there was an audible click. Riolu was captured. Kiryu walked up to the ball and compressed it before putting it in his jacket pocket. "I'll hold on to it for now until you end your run. We'll be heading upward into the more wooded section since that's where fighting types mainly are. This way please." he said as he began to lead the way towards the empty pathway.

I watch the Riolu struggle to remain upward. I knew the fragrance was taking affect and he’d soon be dazed. This was Snapjaw’s perfect chance to strike. Flamethrower hit the Emanation Pokémon head on, which did a decent amount of damage to the Fighting type Pokémon. A large, red-orange flame engulfed Riolu as he cried out in pain due to the effects of burn. It was doing major damage to him, which was great for me. The Hyperball flew through the fire and hit Riolu on his left paw. A bright red light shot out and sucked in the Pokémon.

With three shakes, the deed was done and there was an audible click. Riolu was captured and now mine. The nigja Kiryu walked up to the ball and compressed it before putting it in his jacket pocket. "I'll hold on to it for now until you end your run or run out of encounters, which ever comes first. We'll be heading upward into the more wooded section since that's where fighting types mainly are. This way please."

“Ugh,” I thought to myself, “I need to get rid of this guy. At least while I check in. “One sec.” I said aloud and walked back a few feet so that he was out of hearing range. I pulled out my radio and G.P.S. and turned them on. The dots were still in their place, and I sighed.

“You guys haven’t finished yet?”

“Negative.” Headstrong said over the radio. “Mine will take a bit longer than expected.”

“Agreed.” Snapdragon said, replying after Headstrong. “I ran into minor complications while trying to finish my task. It has been taken care of, but now I am attempting to finish this as fast as I can before more trouble stirs up. Plus, there is a lot of Ice types keep passing by suspiciously. I would rather not have to fight them, but I know I can take them.”

“You won’t have to. I studied this area before we came here.” I explained to him. “I took the precaution of spraying you with the Ice type repellant so that you wouldn’t be bothered by them. It should hold the whole time we are here.”

“Ha, thanks for that. Now I don’t have to bother with the… though I still could have taken them if I want t-.”

“Archforce reporting in.” Archforce said. He was tired of waiting for Snapdragon to finish talking. “I have finished with my task with much ease. I am headed back towards your coordinates and will meet up with you shortly.”

“Great job, Archforce.” I said happily. “One out of three done, two more to go. Let’s finish this up as quickly as possible guys. I have already added a new partner to this team. I caught a Riolu here and I’m looking forward to adding more Pokémon soon. Of course we’ll have to train them to be up to par with you guys, but it can be done. We need a bigger team for the other tasks we have to attend to after this.”

“Gotcha!” Archforce said.

“Understood.” Snapdragon said.

“Right, over and out.” Headstrong said and they were all cut off.

I walked back to me girl ranger and then told him I was ready to go. I wasn’t sure what was next, but whatever it was, it was going to have to be good. I knew I was going to use my voice disk, but I wasn’t quite sure which one to use next. It was between Mienfoo and Scraggy. I really wanted a Scraggy, just as much as I wanted a Mienfoo. I could run into either one still, but having in case we had to leave early, I would rather much run into at least one of those two than none at all. I was just going to have to hope that my Ice type Repellant wouldn’t wear off and that I still had a chance to capture a good Fighting type. I was fairly certain that I was going to run into at least one of the two Pokémon, or so I hoped at least. With that Ice type Repellant, I was bound to get one of the two. The chances of that were too high to miss. There was no way I was leaving here without one. If that were too happen though, I would at least break free from this ranger and go off on my own to find one. It wouldn’t be that hard to do, at least not when my other Pokémon joined us. What I was worried about now, was that our plan wouldn’t go through correctly. We needed that to work in order for them to trust us with further details of their plans.

 

Kiryu continued on with his travels and was fascinated by the natural surroundings of the fighting types. Marred trees old with decay. Worn out rocks with spider webbed cracks due to the practice they got in. He sighed underneath his mask when he remembered his days of training. It was enjoyable but arduous. Never again would he want that on himself again. He was glad cause it got better over time. Less broken bones, less scratches. He continued along the was when he noticed a Timbur slamming his hands on a rock and repeatedly punching it in order to shatter it. Smiling, he turned his head to us as he delivered one final punch and shattered the boulder. "Yeah you can fight this one if you wish."

As we continued walking into the forest my Ranger had mentioned, I heard some strange sounds. I looked over towards my glorious ranger to see what his thoughts were, but I couldn’t see any emotion on his hot sexy face. Being a ninja and all, it was obvious that I wouldn’t see any emotion. He just motioned for us to keep walking. I followed his graceful movement forward, making sure to keep close. I didn’t want to get lost in this terrifying forest. I was glad I had a macho ninja Ranger leading the way to protect me from any danger. As we moved closer to the location of the sound, we could feel the ground shaking slightly. We saw a bipedal, mainly gray, but pink in some area Pokémon. I could see a dark purple nose that sort of reminded me of a clown. I could also see bulbous protrusions extending from the front and lower parts of its head along with pinkish, vein-like bulges that appeared to be throbbing on the back of its head, which were similar to the pink bands adorn on its shoulders and thighs. There was a small piece of timber on the ground besides it. I quickly identified the Pokémon as a Timbur. It had been slamming his hands on a rock and repeatedly punching it in order to shatter it. Smiling with one of the most sexiest smiles I had ever seen, he turned his evenly proportionate head towards me as Timburr delivered one final punch to the boulder, shattering the boulder into many small pieces. "Yeah you can fight this one if you wish."

“Thank you massa.” I said to him, bowing in respect. Then I thought to myself and wondered who I was going to use. Before I would send Shadow in, I decided to get a read on this Timburr. It definitely just showed extraordinary power by smashing that rock. The power Timburr wielded was still raw and powerful, but it was definitely something I would like to mend and help put together. I pulled out my Pokedex and pressed the green button, which once again sent a light green beam out and hit Timburr on its chest.

Timburr – the Muscular Pokémon. Timburr is a Fighting type Pokémon that stands around two to four feet high and weights between twenty five to fifty pounds. Timburr knows the ability Guts and Sheer Force, which was pretty obvious. Some special trained Timburr Pokémon species even know the ability Iron Fist. Timburr have been seen helping construction workers, thus, they are usually found near construction sites. They always carry squared logs and use them to fight with. When it can easily lift a heavy block of timber, it is close to evolving. These Pokémon are only weak to Psychic and Flying type moves, everything else only does normal damage or hardly any damage. This Pokémon knows moves such as Superpower, Hammer Arm, Bulk Up, and Stone Edge.

“Hmm,” I thought to myself, “Snapjaw would have a difficult time in this battle. Since he was a Dark type, Fighting type moves, especially from one as strong as this little Pokémon, would do some good major damage. He had just fought Riolu, another Fighting type Pokémon. I didn’t want to send him back in again. I was about to decided to try and run from this Pokémon when a familiar voice called out.

“Archforce reporting in.” The Martial Arts Pokémon said as he fell from the sky. He took a battle stance, raising his left arm over his head and his right hand hung low, ready to strike at a moments notice.

“Awesome timing buddy, and welcome back!” I called out. “Start this battle off with Acrobatics. Hit him hard because he will do the same to you.” Archforce nodded and prepared to take off.

When Archforce used Acrobatics, he would glide around the battlefield at top speed, diving down around the opponent but missing it multiple times as it wouldn’t be really trying to hit Timburr. No, it would be scouting out which area would be best to hit it in which distracting it at the same time. Once he found the spot and the opponent became somewhat dazed from following his movements, Archforce would then dive down and slam its body into the opponent. As he flew through the air, his movements would be so fast that it seems to leave behind two afterimages behind it.

“Be careful.” I mumbled.

 

It was a battle of fighting verses fighting. This trainers Mienshao came out of no where and proceeded to battle. The Timburr paid no heed to this and wagged his finger, in an attempt to say bring it on. He gripped his wooded pillar and waited for the upcoming move.

“Start this battle off with Acrobatics. Hit him hard because he will do the same to you.”

The Meinshao was fast no doubt but the Timburr had expected this and was prepared to strike back. The Mienshao strafed in all different directions, left and right then another left and then left again and then right before landing a powerful Acrobatics. This move caused double damage when not holding onto a held item. The Timburr was dazed but managed to swing its wooden pole straight down onto the head of Archforce. Timburr had used Smack Down. Mienshao still had his speed but couldn't evade Earthquake or Earth Power.

The wild Timburr counterattacked with Smack Down, a move that I didn’t think he would have used. I was expecting something more along the lines of Brick Break or Superpower. Perhaps it was too early in the battle for that and the Timurr just wanted to get as assesment on Archforce and me. In more ways than one, we were quite similar, at least battle wise. By using Smack Down, it limited Archforce’s movements to mainly ground level moves. Flying type moves like Acrobatics and Aerial Ace would be that much harder to use because it would require me to sometimes have the higher ground. I was going to have to use a different type of move, something I had planned on anyways. I wasn’t planning on sticking with Acrobatics throughout this battle.

“Alright buddy,” I said, calling out to Archforce. “Use Calm Mind then switch into Aura Sphere. We’ll see jus how strong this little guy is.”

Archforce nodded. Powering him up in the specials was quite good, but also a waste of time. His special attack wasn’t that bad, but it wasn’t great either, so it would do decent damage, but not a whole lot to be worried about with. I already knew Timburr more than likely wouldn’t be wasting his time using special attack moves, so the rise in special defense would be pretty meaningless. When he used Calm Mind, it did indeed leave him a bit vulnerable, because he had to ignore all outside distractions momentarily to concentrate on that particular move. His body would begin glowing a light baby blue, similar to his arch foes, the Psychic types.

Once that rise in the mental area was performed, he would procede in gathering all the aura energy around him. It would all get sucked into the cup he was forming in his hands. The energy would meld together, forming a small, but strong sphere that would soon be launched at Timburr. You could feel the aura energy coming off of the small blue mass. It was quite strong for someone who wasn’t quite trained in the special attack area. I just hoped this did a decent amount of damage.

 

OOC: What's the info on Riolu? Cause I don't see anything about it in Mav's post, other than captured. Also what's Timburr's gender?

IC: "Yo wassup," I said as I suddenly appeared at random, after being teleported here by Gardevoir. Then I remembered though that it was suppose to be Saundra at Meteor Valley who I was suppose to say "yo wassup" to if I just somehow randomly showed up. Ah well, what's done is done, and now I was here to ranger, because I was asked to finish taking what's his face through the park. I say what's his face, cause I didn't know who this was. I was just asked by Cameron to finish taking someone through their run here at Mount Oktori. I figured I could always introduce myself properly once this battle was done, because he was already in mid-battle. Unfortunately for me though it was a battle with something I had no desire to see, but had no choice as well. He had been taking on a Timburr. It was almost as if I could never seem to escape the horrors of this thing whenever I visited Oktori, but there was no need to let that guy over there know.

I had arrived in just enough time to here the command sent to Mienshao. “Alright buddy, use Calm Mind then switch into Aura Sphere. We’ll see just how strong this little guy is.” I wasn't sure how he had started off this battle, but Timburr didn't look too damaged. Neither did Mienshao though, so maybe neither of these Pokemon really did any attack. I wasn't sure, it was just always so complicated to just show up as a battle was already partly underway. But there was really nothing I could do about it. I couldn't go back in time, and find out information. I could only see how this played out here, and ask stuff once the battle was finished.

Mienshao stood there, and closed its eyes, going into a state of meditation. It was focusing its mind, sharpening its senses to increase its power. Calm Mind would boost the users Special Attack, and Special Defense by meditating to power up. The Pokemon using it would start to glow a light shade of blue in color, and although it varied from Pokemon to Pokemon you could spot that they were powering up. Some would start to glow, others would have some electricity surge around them. Either way you saw things though the end result was the same, the Pokemon using it would emerge with stronger mental powers than before.

Mienshao finished its power up, but Timburr had waited long enough. Rather than wait, and allow Mienshao to hit it, it made the first move and charged at it. While it was running towards it, it had taken its right hand, and turned it into the form like it was planning a karate chop. Timburr had been aiming to use a Brick Break attack. A move that could slice apart barriers like Reflect, and Light Screen. Mienshao attempted to avoid this, but alas it couldn't fully get away, and took a chop right to the midsection.

Timburr jumped back a little bit, seemingly happy with its handy work, but it was far from enough to keep an attack from coming its way. Mienshao put its hands together, and conjured up some aura from its body. Since it had only just used Calm Mind this must have been a lot easier for the creature then it would have been. This aura formed a blueish-white ball, or bomb of energy in front of its body for Aura Sphere. Aura Sphere was a move that was pretty likely to hit, because since the move itself was created from aura it would target the opposing Pokemon's aura, and link itself to them. The attack was ready, and Mienshao fired off the blast. Timburr looked shocked at the power it had coming its way, but it spent too much time patting itself on the back, and took the attack head on, knocking it to the ground.

Timburr may not have been defeated, but it certainly took a good chunk of damage there. Another powerful attack like that, and this guy could capture Timburr, and move on almost instantly. It seemed as though I entered this run with a bang. I just hoped that this was a sign of interesting things to come.

Timburr and Riolu are both males. I don't know about their natures.

Archforce powered up as fast as he could. Whenever he did that, it left him pretty vulnerable. If he lost focus, he would not only get hurt, but lose his power up as well, something I didn’t want to happen. It was quite risky, but I was risk taker. Timburr, although appeared impatient, didn’t attack Archforce while he was powering up. I was lucky there. He even waited until after we attacked to begin his attack, how generous. Hopefully he remained that way.

Timburr and his Brick Break attack didn’t do much damage. I was glad for that. I felt that with my next attack, I could capture this little guy. However, I wasn’t quite sure what move to use. I just shrugged and picked Bounce. It wasn’t his strongest move, but it was super effective against Timburr and it did have a small chance of paralyzing, so I figured it would be a good choice to use right now.

“Alright Archforce, use Bounce.” I called out to my Martial Artist Pokémon. Archforce jumped high into the air and extended his right foot out in front of him as he came plummeting down back to the earth. If this move was successful, he would have struck Timburr square in the face with his right foot. That would do a bit of damage to him and also perhaps paralyze, though I wasn’t counting on that nor did I care.

I reached into my bag and pulled out a Parkball. I quickly enlarged it and threw it at Timburr. With the speed Archforce was going at, he would hit Timburr before the Parkball did, hopefully allowing me to capture it. If all was successful of course.

 

Good old what's his name over there, you know, the guy with the face, seemed like he wanted to wrap things up here. “Alright Archforce, use Bounce,” he had commanded. Bounce was as it sounded, the user would jump up into the air, sort as with Fly, only they wouldn't be flying in the sky. Once up there they would be immune to essentially all attacks, except Gust, Twister, Sky Uppercut, and Thunder. The user would then, sooner or later, come falling back down to the ground, and kick then square in their body. You'd think it was probably a Fighting-type attack, but actually it was a Flying-type move, which is probably why this guy was using it. It even had the chance of causing paralysis.

Mienshao jumped high up in the air, but it wasn't up there too long. It came crashing down to the ground, and connected its right foot right across Timburr's face. Ohh, that one had to hurt... I thought to myself. Timburr was now lying there in pain as you'd expect, and that guy over there saw this as his chance. He pulled a Park Ball out from his backpack, and tossed it at Timburr. I didn't know what sort of ball he used to capture the Riolu I was given and told was his, but that didn't make much of a difference. The ball sucked Timburr in, and although it put up a fight, it was secure with in the ball.

"Well good going there, sir," I said, as I put Timburr's ball into my pocket. "So, now that this is done I've got a few questions to ask. First off, what is your name? Second what exactly are you looking for? And third, do you have any Voice Disks you intend to use, before we keep going?" I asked. I was curious to know what his name was, and what he was here in Mount Oktori for. He had captured two Fighting-types, so I could only assume he planned to catch those, but maybe he was looking for some sort of Ice-type. Either way though I'd find out what I needed to know, and then we could get going.

Archforce slammed his right foot right across Timburr's face, throwing the small Pokémon back a few feet. Timburr was now lying there in pain as you'd expect. My parkball flew towards Timburr, hitting him on his chest. A dark red light shot out and engulfed the Fighting type Pokémon.

"Well good going there, sir," I said, as I put Timburr's ball into my pocket. "So, now that this is done I've got a few questions to ask. First off, what is your name? Second what exactly are you looking for? And third, do you have any Voice Disks you intend to use, before we keep going?" He asked. I had no idea who this guy was or what the heck happened to my prior ranger that was just with me. I looked around for him, but when I didn’t see him, I just assumed he had something more important to do or was called off for something. I shrugged it off. I didn’t really want to answer his questions, but I didn’t want to start off on the wrong foot, no, that was set for a later time if we got that far.

“My name is Emit, and this is Snapjaw and Archforce, my Houndoom and Mienshao. We are looking for either a Mienfoo or Scraggy, whichever comes first. I have a voice disk for both, but I am thinking about using my Mienfoo disk first. However, let’s just walk around to scope the area out.” I only wanted to scope the area out to find other potential places to plant our devices, but I wasn’t going to let our Ranger know that. “Excuse me for a moment though.”

I stepped away from my Ranger a few feet and brought out my communicator. “Status report?” I asked Snapdragon and Headstrong. I was hoping they had finished their assignments or at least close to finishing them.

“I am just finishing up.” Snapdragon called out. “Had a few more run ins with Ice types. They stayed away and didn’t bother me, but the looks they’re giving me makes me want to kick their asses. They better hope for their sake that this repellant doesn’t run out and they don’t come at me. Just because I am weak to Ice doesn’t mean I can’t take them on.”

“Yeah, I know you can, but they can just as easily out number you.” I said, reminding him.

“Of course, but that won’t stop me from trying.” He said. I sighed. I hoped he wouldn’t start something with them, because that was something we didn’t need right now.

“Yeah, alright. Just be careful. What about you Headstrong?” I asked.

“I can’t finish until this doofus stops trying to pick fights with everyone and finishes his task.” Headstrong grunted. “The faster he finishes planting his, the faster I can do mine. As you already know, this has to be done in a sequence and he has to hurry up and finish before I can finish mine.”

“Right, hurry up Snapdragon. Finish up your part.” I said to him. He just snorted.

“Alright, let’s go back to our Ranger.” I said to Archforce and Snapjaw. We walked back over towards our Ranger.

“Alright dude, lead the way. I don’t want to run into any Pokémon now. Let’s just head that way.” I told him, pointing in the direction that Snapdragon was at. I knew he was almost done with what he was assigned to do, so if we headed in his direction, he could meet up with us faster and we could finish up quicker.

All I wanted to run into now was either a Scraggy or a Mienfoo. Either one of those would be great for me to find. I just hoped one of the two would show up soon, at least I hoped. I knew that I had a good chance of finding one of the two since I had used an Ice type repellant.
