Jake gave the wild Magmortar a once over, and you have to admit, it does look like quite a tough Pokemon. However, as all creatures have their strengths and specialities, they still do have their weaknesses and "flaws" - their achilles' heel.

The trainer zipped open his backpack and dug his arm into it, retrieving his third pink-colored Clefairy Pokedoll. His grip on the small toy seemed to tighten for a moment, before swinging his arm backwards. And with one mighty thrust, he had thrown the doll straight towards the Fire-type. My eyes zipped from the right - where the male teen was standing - then suddenly to the left - where the Blast Pokemon stood, unmoving and unnerved - as they followed the exact path the Pokedoll had taken.

Magmortar glanced at the pink object for a second. An emotion of worry flashed to my eyes - I thought the entity was too tough (and too cold - ironically) a Pokemon who would fall for the Pokedoll's little "tricks". However, and luckily so, I was wrong. It looked as though it did have a soft spot when it picked up the plush toy. I let a grin spread on my face, even if the heat was really getting to me.

We walked along for a little while, leaving the Fire-type behind. I noticed Jake starting to sweat; this cave seemed to be hotter than when I last visited Mount Deckbi.

"I hope this place cools down a bit. Or I might be the only water source around," he joked, letting out a chuckle.

I grinned in semi-amusement and decided to, for lack of better term, play-along. "You're not the only one!" I laughed, wiping my perspiring forehead with the back of my hand.

I motioned for him to stop only a few minutes later as we came across a rather familiar fork in the road. My previous trainers and I had come to these two tunnels. And from past experience, most chose the left.

"Okay, Jake, time to make a quick - but vital - decision. Would you like to take the left or the right path? The left leads upward - towards the top of the mountain - while the right will lead us deeper, though not necessarily underground, into the volcano. Your choice," I told him. Though, judging from this heat that we were already enduring, I was almost certain he would choose the left.
