    OOC: @WebMaster congrats

    ~~~~~
    Bill didn't waste any time. He quickly snatched Swampert's PokeBall off his belt and returned the Water-type. It was done in the nick of time - the cracks extended through the entirety of the shelf and the shattered. The tiny pieces of ice rained down into the snow. If Swampert had been standing there when that happened, he would have been seriously injured.
    The Conkeldurr spun around and roared angrily at Bill. How dare this puny human take away his opponent, just when it was right where he wanted it? He advanced threateningly, preparing to pound both of the humans into a pulp.
    Thankfully, Bill summoned another Pokemon to take our place. This one I hadn't seem him use before - it was long, green and leafy; a Serperior. They were fast and tricky opponents. I wondered why Bill didn't use Serperior to begin with. Its agility and evasiveness would have meant hell for the brute-force Conkeldurr.
    "Serperior, use Leaf Storm to give me some cover. Don't worry about hitting it," Bill ordered as he pulled a Hyper Ball out of his pocket.
    The Grass-type raised its tail into the air and then brought it rushing down. A blizzard of leaves blasted towards the Conkledurr, obscuring it from our vision and buying Bill some time. The very second that the leaves had all fallen onto the snow, Bill threw the Hyper Ball. It connected with the Fighting-type's left arm, and it roared as it was sucked inside. The capture device fell onto the ground and shook in the snow.
    After what seemed like a whole minute of shaking, the ball lay quiet. I grinned at Bill. "Congratulations! What a capture!"
    OOC: FINALLY!!!!!!
    ---------------------------------------------
    The ball wobbled. The ball wobbled again. I stood there watching it for about a minute or so before the wiggling began to die down. Had I finally done it?" I whispered to myself. Chainy placed his hand on the occupied Pokeball and stashed it his bag. We both knew what that meant.
    "Congratulations! What a capture!" he said as he patted me on the shoulder.
    I had a flabbergasted look on my face as I stuttered the words "Th-thanks" while soaking in the magnitude of this event. I walked over to Serperior and petted him on the head to thank him for giving me cover to throw that Hyper Ball.
    "Thanks for the quick save, Serperior," I said to the grass snake.
    He backed away from my hand and nodded with a smile on his face.
    "Take a rest, buddy," I said as I pointed his Pokeball at him. Serperior became a red light that was swallowed by the Pokeball. I wish I could congratulate Swampert as well, but he had been through hell during that battle. I figured it was best to have him just rest.
    "I'm excited about this now," I said to Chainy. "Let's keep going."
    Bill stuttered his thanks before walking over to Serperior and patting it gratefully. "Thanks for the quick save, Serperior," he said to the Pokemon.
    The Serperior butted its head into Bill's hand then backed off, smiling. Despite the gentle look on its face I could tell that Serperior wasn't enjoying the cold climate here on Mount Oktori. It was pretty plainly asking to go back into its ball. Fortunately, Bill noticed this.
    "Take a rest, buddy," the young man said as he returned the Grass-type to its PokeBall. I walked over to where the Hyper Ball was laying forlornly in the snow and I picked it up, slipping it into the side pocket with the Vanillish's ball. I jiggled my bag to make sure neither of the balls were going anywhere, and then I returned to Bill's side.
    "I'm excited about this now. Let's keep going," Bill said enthusiastically.
    I raised my eyebrow but turned around to look at where we were. We were on a shelf about twenty metres below where we had been before. I wouldn't have minded being able to climb back up and take shelter in the cave from before, but there didn't seem to be any safe routes upwards. However, there was another ledge just below us. Seeing as there was no other way to go I shrugged and slipped down onto the ledge. It was only a couple metres down, so I landed easily on my feet. Bill followed me and fortunately there was a cave opening not far away. It'd be nice to get out of the snow. I hurried in until the whiteness of the outside was far behind, with Bill at my heels. Unfortunately, I ran smack-bang into something warm and pudgy. I fell onto my backside and looked up to see a Hariyama looking down at me, clearly unimpressed. It was warming itself over a fire but now it was interested in us. Thankfully it didn't seem like it objected to our presence, unlike the Conkeldurr.
    "Uh, do you want to try and battle this?" I asked Bill sheepishly as I got back onto my feet.
    OOC: I put a lot of thought into this but I don't think I'd ever use Hariyama and I have other places to be
    "I'm excited about this now. Let's keep going," I said to Chainy.
    Chainy gave me a weird look on his face as he eyes turned toward the shelf up top. There was nothing unusual there except a huge gap in the pathway above. Chainy soon returned his focus to the ground in front of him. There was a pathway below the ledge we were on. My ranger leisurely walked over to the edge as he let his weight carry him down the slope to the ledge below. I simply jumped after him only to have my shoes land in a pile of snow. The path curved around the mountain wall, but I could see a small opening in the distance. It was another cave that probably provided a shortcut for the path. I closely followed Chainy in traversing this walkway. He kept looking back to see if I was with him, but there was something he wasn't paying attention to.
    "Watch out for that…" I started to say
    *smack* it was too late.
    "…Pokemon," I finished.
    Chainy had ran full on into a rotund Hariyama. I doubt the fighting-type felt much but it looked kinda disturbed. From the ignited sticks I saw lying in a pile, I'd say it had built its own campfire.
    "Uh, do you want to try and battle this?" Chainy asked me as he tried to regain his footing.
    I stood there contemplating for a good while before finally reasoning, "I think I'm good." My Pokemon needed the rest and I don't believe another battle, especially with a Pokemon like this, would be the best thing for them at the moment.
    OOC: @WebMaster No problems dude
    ~~~~~

    "I think I'm good," Bill replied. I wasn't particularly surprised - my brother Jakk used a Hariyama in his gym, but it was mostly because the Fighting-type had access to a number of interesting moves and techniques, most notably the Whirlwind move. Still, there were many Pokemon who were better at Whirlwinding than Hariyama - Staraptor and Skarmory immediately came to mind. I nodded to my Trainer and carefully tiptoed around the Fighting-type. Thankfully, he seemed content to do nothing but watch us as we passed.

    We lost sight of the fire a about a minute later, which meant we had to stumble onwards in near-blindness. After a turn in the tunnel, a soft light was visible, and I saw that the tunnel opened up into a huge cavern. My jaw dropped as we emerged - the cavern was easily big enough to store an passenger aeroplane without touching any of the walls. There were many small holes around the ceiling, allowing for shafts of light and piles of snow to accumulate throughout the large space. Large stalagmites peppered the cavern, and some of them seemed to absorb and hold onto the light longer than they naturally should. We were standing up on a high ledge over the cavern, and a path wound down to the main floor.

    I realised that a small gray stone in front of us wasn't actually a gray stone. It was a Machop, looking down onto the cavern, and for some reason it was being completely still. It hadn't appeared to notice us, so if Bill wanted to bypass it there was a strong chance. I jerked my head at the Fighting-type, asking him silently - no reason to alert the Machop to our presence.

    We tried creeping around the fighting-type trying not to disturb it. Hariyama simply sat on his lazy backside as he returned to warming himself. I don't think I wanted a Pokemon that lazy on my team.

    Chainy and I entered the tunnel as we both pulled out our flashlights. We followed several twists and turns along the path wondering where it would take us. Finally, there was an opening into pure darkness at the end. I shined my light way in the distance to gaze upon a giant cavern that large enough to be a wailord aquarium. I stayed close to Chainy since it was easy to get lost in here

    We tried to move towards a pathway that lowered into the cavern but there was something nearby that didn't quite sit right. I saw the ridges on its head and realized what Pokemon it was. I didn't want to disturb Machop so I tried to sneak around it. Hopefully, it would keep staring in awe of the cavern rather than notice us.

    Bill didn't seem to want the Machop, because he followed my quiet lead and tried to edge past the Fighting-type. Luckily, it didn't notice us. Perhaps it was too busy taking in the breathtaking view of the chasm below it. Whatever the reason, we managed to get past it by sneaking silently along the winding path. The path eventually led down onto the main floor part of the cave.

    "Wow, this place sure is beautiful, isn't it?" I asked Bill. "You always seem to find the most serene places out in the wilderness. I wonder what that says about the human race."

    I chuckled under my breath and took a look around. It wasn't as cold here in the cave, which was nice. I was about to ask Bill which way he wanted to go when a Pokemon hovered out from behind one of the large icicles. It looked an awful lot like an ice cream cone - it had a spherical white body and a blue stiff tail that pointed directly downwards. It grinned cheekily at us and bobbed from side to side.

    "Well, interested in battling this Vanillite?" I asked Bill. I didn't think he would be, considering he'd already caught a Vanillish, but it was a Ranger's duty to ask.

    OOC: Nope

    ---------------------------

    Slowly but surely, we slipped by the distracted fighting type; the winding path took us away from its line of sight. Chainy and I followed the road downward, and we finally came to the main floor of the cavern. I stared in awe of the atmosphere around me. Stalactites lined the ceilings in a beautiful pattern. Columns towered up into the ceiling. The floor was huge and provided a very open area. Ice also formed around some areas of the cavern creating spots of blue all around.

    "Wow, this place sure is beautiful, isn't it?" I asked Bill. "You always seem to find the most serene places out in the wilderness. I wonder what that says about the human race."

    I pondered Chainy's comment for a second as we kept traversing the cave floor. As I gazed in awe of the natural wonder, I saw something moving in the blue icicles. A round head featuring a cheery face poked out from behind one icicle. It revealed the rest of its body to us only to shock us both to realize that it had no legs. The thing looked like a mascot for an ice cream shop.

    "Well, interested in battling this Vanillite?" Chainy asked although he could kinda anticipate my answer.

    What was with these damn things? Surely I had better things to do.

    "No thanks," I said to Chainy.

    "No thanks," Bill said, and I wasn't surprised. Trainers rarely caught duplicate Pokemon in the Park, unless they were rare and could be used for trading, like Drilbur or Feebas. Seeing as Vanillite was one of the most common Pokemon on the mountain, it probably wouldn't get a particularly fantastic trade.

    We tried to leave the Vanillite behind us as we explored the large inner cavern, but the little ice-cream Pokemon followed us with an idiotic smile on his face. Finally, Ed got annoyed and wordlessly held out a wad of cash. I took it and handed him a doll - this one was shaped like a Sandile. Ed threw it off to our left and the Ice-type tore off after it.

    "Finally free," I sighed.

    The cavern stayed large as we moved down it. I kept looking around for an exit, but there weren't any. Just loads of dangerous ice spikes and snow, snow everywhere. Finally I caught a glimpse of the snowstorm through an opening at the end of the cave, in the direction we were walking. I hastened to get to it, but suddenly the cave shook, like an earthquake had hit it. I looked to my left, and my jaw dropped. Walking ever so slowly in the opposite direction to us was one of the largest Pokemon I'd ever seen. I probably hadn't seen it earlier because it was so huge, and it blended into the background nicely.

    "It's not every day you come across a Regigigas," I said to Bill, pointing at the large creature as the ground shook once more. "Take a picture and let's be on our way."

    Vanillish stared right into my eyes with a dopey grin on its face as I rationalized letting it come along. I put one finger up telling it to hold on and whipped out my Pokedex. Flipping it open, the menu appeared in front of me with several options in the form of hexagons. I didn't even read the little ones and tapped the big one in the center which read "Auto-scan." It displayed "scanning..." on the screen along with a wave-like symbol. "Entry found!" the Pokedex said indicating that Vanillish's entry could be looked up.

    Vanillish, the evolved form of Vanillite. It is said to have moved to southern areas after an ice age and that they live in snowy mountain areas today.

    "Well no dip sherlock!" I thought to myself since I found one right in front of me in an icy mountain.

    It conceals itself from enemy eyes by creating many small ice particles and hiding among them.

    Well, clearly it wasn't trying to hide itself. Whoever coded this Pokedex entry must have gotten their degree from Solaceon University or something like that. I pushed the "moves" tab on the Pokedex page to see if there were any moves of interest

    Vanillish is best known for moves such as Icy Wind, Taunt, and Mirror Coat.

    Well, all of those moves did seem useful to me but I figured a few of my other Pokemon could already learn all those other moves.

    "No thanks," I said to Chainy as I tried to walk past it. Chainy walked beside me probably understanding my reasoning before even telling him.

    We continued forward in the icy cavern making our way through the towering stalagmites. I kept up at a good pace when I started to feel a slight chill in the air on my neck. It grew colder until I couldn't take it anymore. I swung myself around to spot the same Vanillish with that stupid grin on its ice cream-like face.

    "Get out of here!" I said loudly and tried to swing my arm to make it leave us. The icy snow Pokemon simply floated backwards and then onto the path in front of us. It just would not leave us alone.

    "I don't have time for this," I said as I fished a clip of bills out of my pocket. Chainy didn't even need to know what I was asking for. He fished a Sandile-shaped doll out of his pack. The doll looked rather soft based on the way he squeezed it. I felt it and thought it was probably something I would be playing with as a little child. No matter, I quickly chucked it off to the side of our path. Vanillish hovered over to it to pick it up. I didn't even want to see what it would do to it because he might annoy us again if we waited too long.

    "Finally free," Chainy said.

    "I couldn't agree more," I replied.

    We pressed forward in the cave watching the path in front of us to avoid ice. I slipped a couple of times but I never fell over or anything. I shined my flashlight in all directions. There were some walls but sometimes it was just a wide-open cave. Chainy began glancing around the walls to see if there were any nearby exits. We couldn't find any. We probably should have left a trail in case we needed to get back to the start.

    Suddenly, something didn't quite feel right under my feet. It vibrated slightly as if someone had their stereo up too loud. The rumbling strengthened until I was finally thrown off balance and had to cringe some. The feeling was rather minuscule to what my eyes picked up. A giant multicolored Pokemon was passing us on the left side. Its white, gray, and brown gems glistened in the cave's faint light. Black marks took several twists and turns along the gigantic figure. A black Braille pattern covered its yellow face to show that it was neutral feeling. Perhaps it was hard at work for something.

    "It's not every day you come across a Regigigas," Chainy said to me, pointing at the large creature as the ground shook once more. "Take a picture and…"

    He didn't even have to finish that sentence. I quickly whipped the digital camera out of my pocked and started to synchronize my movements with the legendary golem's. If I was lucky, I could get a diagonal shot of its face. Worst case scenario, I get a shot of its side which is still good.

    Moving quickly, Bill pulled out his camera and aimed it up at the huge beast. It would have been really hard to try and get the entire Pokemon in the shot, but as long as the picture was clear the Archives would pay well for it, and I was sure it would be fine - the digital cameras we sold all had lots of auto-correction software. It was really hard to take a bad picture with them.

    We continued through the cave, leaving the Regigigas behind. I saw an exit up ahead, revealing the snowstorm blowing around outside the mountain. It was a strange sight - the air was frenzied outside, but perfectly calm in here. I put the thought out of my mind and waved Bill forwards with me. The snow was starting to build up around my feet; it must have been swept in by the storm.

    When we were perhaps a minute from the exit, a Pokemon moved very solidly in front of our way, denying us passage. It was large and mostly white, but with green hands and legs. It could have been mistaken for a tree except for the baleful purple eyes near the tip, burning into us. I rubbed my hands along my arms to warm them up and took a step back.

    "Do you feel like battling an Abomasnow?" I asked Bill.

    --------------------------------------

    I dashed as fast as I could to keep up with the legendary super-golem. Its slow steps were offset by its gigantic size; its feet moved further than my body could run in that time period. Fortunately, I was still ahead of the normal legend, and my camera managed to boot up completely in that time frame. I quickly stopped and pushed the button on top of my camera. A flash filled the whole area of the cave in front of me. I quickly pressed the review button to see how it came out. Looks like I managed to get the angle I wanted; its face was at a diagonal angle as it remained facing forward. I smiled and switched the camera off to save my battery.

    Slowly, the golem continued his straight path. Realizing I was still in range of the beast, I flipped open my Pokedex and aimed it at the Regigigas. I tapped the large scan button on the screen and the word "scanning" appeared across the monitor. "Entry found," it soon said thereafter. I pulled the digital encyclopedia back to myself and awaited the new entry.

    Regigigas, the Colossal Pokemon. Height: 12' 02". Weight: 925.9 lbs. This Pokemon appears in Sinnoh legends, most of them commonly stating that this Pokemon once towed continents with large ropes.

    Well, I don't know if something only twelve feet could tow a land mass that large. Then again, I don't know the strength of that thing.

    This Pokemon also created the three other legendary golems, Regirock, Regice, and Registeel. They were each shaped from clay, ice, and magma respectively. This is why there are three gems colored accordingly on each of its shoulders.

    I see. That's why they all shared the same name.

    The eyes located on the Pokemon's front are in a similar pattern to its three creations. They change color depending the Pokemon's mood. Red shows anger; blue shows sadness.

    They were black when I saw them. It must have been indifferent or hard at work.

    It has currently retired from its continent-towing duties and now resides in the earth. It has been observed that this Pokemon clears caves for further exploration.

    That explains why its here. This cave must be getting bigger every so often. The Pokedex stopped talking because the entry was complete. With a flipping of its lid, I had recorded the entry of another legend. Two legends in one park run? Who'd have thought it? Soon the Regigigas faded completely into darkness and was no more.

    I pumped my arm towards myself to indicate my excitement. I couldn't wait to see what else was in store for me. We started walking forward again and looking for an exit. I shined my flashlight in a continuous pattern of the general cave area and the path in front of me. I stepped over some uneven terrain without managing to fall this time. Chainy's breath showed in front of him; clearly he wanted the same thing I wanted: an exit.

    We soon spotted a gap in the cavern's wall. I smiled a little bit due to a faint glimmer of light angling around the path in the hole. Chainy and I started brisk walking to finally get some sunlight. Suddenly, a large figure stepped in front of us to cut off our path. My flashlight reflected on its all white body which produced somewhat of a glare. I moved the flashlight around to spot its green arms with spikes protruding at the ends. Its green feet and tail matched its muscular arms. I shined the light up the rest of its body to spot large purple eyes and a mouth covered by a white mustache-like draping.

    "Do you feel like battling an Abomasnow?" Chainy asked me.

    I knew this thing was not gonna let us pass, and trying to pass it would be a bad idea. I locked eyes with the large white beast and replied, "Let's get this thing."

    Wasting no time, I quickly flipped up my Pokedex again to get a better idea of the monster. Tapping scan, it wasn't even a split second before my Pokedex could find an entry.

    Abomasnow, the Frost Tree Pokemon. Height: 7' 3". Weight: 298.7 lbs. It is said to appear when snow flowers begin to sprout. Until then, it hides in places unknown.

    Well, it looks like this is the "unknown" then.

    This Pokemon is able to detect snow weather from days in advance. It has sometimes been known to cause the storms itself, thus the Pokemon classifying its ability as Snow Warning.

    Oh great, more snow. Serperior would obviously be a poor choice then. Hopefully the Pokemon I chose next still had some strength in her. I unclipped a Pokeball off of my belt and tossed onto the ground in front of me. A flash of white spilled forth from the open orb, and it materialized into a small figure. The light faded revealing its cat-like ears and a double-forked tail. The jewel on her head reflected off my flashlight, and her large eyes widened in their focus on her enemy.

    "Espeon, you up for one more?" She gave a meow and shook her head in agreement.

    "Alright. Start things off with a confusion," I commanded.

    Espeon's eyes started shimmering a faint blue as she tried to pierce into her foe's mind. Confusion from her was known to cause a great headache and sometimes confusion. If I was lucky, it would be enough to throw it off balance and weaken the next attack. Of course if Arceus had favor on me, it would confuse Abomasnow into smacking itself. I wouldn't bet my life on that though. I clenched a fist and awaited what would happen.

    "Let's get this thing," Bill replied dramatically. He wasted no time in pulling out a PokeDex and consulting it for information. I ignored the noises the small device made and watched the Abomasnow. It seemed calm, almost un-naturally so. Its purple eyes looked me over once before settling on Bill. The Pokemon didn't seem angry at our trespassing - in fact, it looked like it was preparing itself for a challenge. We were pretty far off the path, so chances were good that it didn't get to battle Trainers very often.

    Half a minute later Bill threw a PokeBall to the ground, and his Espeon reappeared in a flash of red light. The Psychic-type looked rejuvenated from her fight with Conkeldurr, which was good because she'd need to be.

    "Espeon, you up for one more?" Bill asked his Pokemon.

    The cat meowed affirmatively as light glinted off her forehead jewel.

    "Alright, start things off with a confusion," the Trainer ordered.

    Espeon started making a quiet mrrrrowl sound at the back of her throat, and she looked straight at her opponent. I knew that her eyes would be bright blue - I had experience with the Confusion technique. It was the first attacking technique Dual had ever learned. I also knew to avoid looking at the Pokemon's eyes.

    Abomasnow wasn't as lucky. I could see its eyes start to glaze over, and it staggered backwards as it swung its arms around wildly in an attempt to ward off the piercing attack. The swinging became more frenzied, and suddenly a group of green leaves detached from the ends of the Abomasnow's arms. They flew quickly across the arena and struck Espeon, causing her to yowl in surprise. Thankfully the leaves didn't dig in like Razor Leaves usually did - the Abomasnow was probably too stunned by the Confusion to put the full power behind its attacks.

    ------------------------------

    "Alright, start things off with Confusion," I ordered

    Espeon buckled herself down, and gave a me a short cry of affirmation. Espeon focused her black eyes on the large tree-like foe. Her ears slowly shifted backwards to demonstrate her intense concentration. Her forked tail swayed from side to side like a metronome. A flare began to glow in her eyes like someone was starting a blue fire. The spark built eventually engulfing her entire eyes. Did she bridge into her foe's mind successfully?

    Indeed she had. Suddenly, Abomasnow's purple eyes formed red streaks on them. He brought a thick green hand to grasp his bushy head in pain. Swirling around went the snowman's body following the lead of its head. Its arms soon started stuttering in convulsions from the pain on its brain, the head of the nervous system. The arms began spinning in all kinds of different directions; it almost swung its buff arm into a narrow column. Knowing its strength, it probably would have broken it.

    The arms and legs convulsed more as Abomasnow spun in circles. I looked over at my Pokemon and her eyes shimmered like sun reflecting off the lake on a clear day. I had to look a way though. Surprisingly, it wasn't the brightness of her eyes that made me do so; rather, my head started to swirl around a little. It would probably be unwise to draw closer to the link she established with Abomasnow. I drifted away towards a faint image of Chainy and my vision soon returned to normal. Espeon was hard at work to throw Abomasnow off balance.

    Suddenly, the leaves on Abomasnow's arms pricked up from the remainder. I could tell there was something special about these leaves from the way they were shaped. Unsure as I was, I raised my Pokedex which was still in my hand and scanned the attack Abomasnow was preparing to use.

    "Move entry found," the text said as it flashed across the screen. It quickly faded away as the Pokedex was programmed to analyze moves more quickly than analyzing a Pokemon due to how fast combat can be.

    "Razor Leaf. This move involves the host shooting either pointed or bladed leaves at its target. The sharpness of these leaves can vary; some have been known to cause a massive amount of damage."

    I sure hoped those leaves were dull. Espeon was still a little winded from that last battle with Conkeldurr, and further severe damage would not ensure a decisive battle.

    The leaves jetted from Abomasnow and flew across the battlefield striking Espeon's body at the end. The leaves impacted, but most of them had just fallen off or deflected off of her. One of them flew back to Chainy and myself. I picked it up and spotted a sharp tip on the end of it. However, it wasn't strong enough to cause a cut or even a significant amount of pain when I touched it. These leaves were quickly sharpened by the looks of them; they weren't well-prepared.

    Abomasnow still swung around from the confusion, its eyes still beat red from the mental pain. The two combatants were prepared for another attack. I started to think of more things that worked with Espeon when I flashed back to the Conkeldurr fight. Espeon had used her Psychic as a ball which managed to keep her foe off balance.

    "Espeon, try to stay focused. Try using your psychic, but do what you did when your target was out of range." I tried to explain.

    Espeon was still swirling around from the confusion and sorta ignored me when her eyes finally widened; she knew what I was talking about. Trying to keep her balance, she bathed in a powerful blue glow that was suddenly snatched off her like a blanket. The aura became a round orb that hovered in front of her. It struck Conkeldurr, and it went stumbling backwards due to its vulnerability.

    "Espeon! Used your ranged Psychic attack again!" I shouted.

    Espeon started to back in her usual blue which elevated into a flame-like glaze. All at once, the aura stripped off her and reformed itself into her shimmering blue orb. If this worked successfully, it might keep Abomasnow off-balance which could create a massive opening for us.

    "Espeon! Used your ranged Psychic attack again!" Bill shouted loudly.

    Espeon backed up as her eyes started to glow that familiar shade of deep blue. The blueness started leaking energy, which molded itself into a perfect sphere. I recognised this technique as one I had taught to Dual that I nicknamed the Psychic Bullet. Sometimes the telekinetic ability wasn't useful when applied directly to an enemy - for example, when there was nothing to bash them against, like in this situation. Instead, the user formed a psychic shell of compressed air and mental energy, and then fired it like a projectile attack. Sure enough, the sphere was launched towards the Abomasnow, and it sent the Grass-type flying into the air.

    The Abomasnow landed heavily on on its stomach. It looked up at Espeon with angry eyes and reached out towards the cat with its right arm. Huge tornadoes made of ice and snow exploded out of the snow-covered ground. They moved towards Espeon, trying to strike her. She hissed and dodged one of the twisters, which turned into a solid block of ice and shattered. The second one struck her in her leg, spinning her around, and the final two smashed into her front paws. When the snow and ice subsided, I could see that both of Espeon's front feet were frozen solid onto the ground. She was tugging valiantly against the ice, but it was no good. The Wild Pokemon got onto its feet and emitted a shaking chuckle as it watched the trapped Psychic-type.
