BP 1:
"Let's send Raichu out again!" Peanut said, brandishing his Poke Ball. "Raichu, when you're ready, I want you to try and isolate on of the Remoraid from the shoal. I think we can achieve this by trying to seduce on lucky female Remoraid with a combination of your Charm, Play Nice and maybe even a bit of kinky Tail Slap. Maybe. Anyway, let's try and grab one of their attention while scattering away the rest!"

Buzz had to refrain from bursting into laughter it was a very curious way of getting a singular Remoraid from the collection, but he was glad to see another Pokémon that interested Peanut. Buzz mentally question his choice of Pokémon, Raichu had handled himself excellently when able to escape the water to the pier but open water was another matter. Peanut would have to take great care in his choice of attacks too, unlike near the shore there was far more wild Pokémon in the water so the electric attacks would be far too risky. Raichu took to the gently rolling waves of the ocean and immediately some of the Remoraid shoal swam down to the depths away. Raichu began to focus in on a particular Remoraid with the cutest charm and guile it could muster.

All but one of the small fish Pokémon remained and it didn't seem impressed by the Raichu's advances, a dense mist began to form around patch of water. The outline of Remoraid barely visible as swam atop the dark blue sea. Not only did it seem to make Raichu's advances impossible to see, and therefore affect, the Remoraid it made the entire area difficult to see through.

A jet of hot water burst forth, identifiable by the water vapour that pierced holes through cool mist and crashed over the electric rodent. Buzz could see Raichu struggling to maintain its focus atop the water as the scalding water passed over it. It wasn't a sustained wave of water like surf but with temperatures like that it didn't need to be a long attack.

Raichu managed to launch itself, spinning through the water allowing its lightening bolt tail to slap the Remoraid hard before whipping it back down to hit once more, pushing it back under the water. Raichu got back to its starting position eager for more encouragement as it winced through the pain. Buzz could see raw patches of the Raichu's body glowing red from the searing heat of the attack from the Jet Pokémon. Peanut would have to be careful throughout the battle, Remoraid seemed like a formidable foe tucked away in its protective cloud.

Raichu seemed to find his target without much delay and he began the process of getting Remoraid's attention. The little fish didn't seem all that charmed though, and covered itself in a fine mist to help block Raichu from view and spurn the advances. Raichu seemed a little irked by this and leaned forward into the mist, only to recoil almost immediately as a jet of hot water smacked into him. Raichu let out a cry of pain and rubbed his face with his tiny paws to try and remove the worst of the burn.

Raichu, ignoring the searing flesh, shot forward and slammed the Remoraid with his tail through the mist. It was hard to tell exactly how much the Remoraid took from it, but I would imagine that the little fish was still relatively unharmed. Raichu winced a little at his burning flesh and I knew we'd have to do something about that immediately. The ocean's temperature decreased as you descended so I had hopefully a remedy for Raichu.

"Raichu, quick, dive down into the water as far as you can. The cool water should help to reduce some of the burning pain. Try and get down as low as you can, and when you feel yourself needing oxygen take a split second to compose yourself and shoot upwards with an Extreme Speed."

The plan here was two-fold really. The cold water would hopefully cool Raichu down and reduce some of the burning, but that wasn't all that the deep sea could help with. Hopefully the Remoraid would be enticed by the sinking Raichu and would chase after it down into the water. But as the Remoraid would draw closer, Raichu would slam into it, sending the little fish shooting upwards out of the water as Raichu Extreme Speeded back upwards. Perhaps the speed of Raichu could blow some of that mist away too.

Buzz raised his eyebrows at the attack method, not only would Raichu struggle at controlling itself beneath the water, any attempt at using a speed based attack beneath the water would be hindered dramatically. Peanut's Raichu had shown a decent level of skill at working on the water, but Buzz feared this would be asking too much of the rodent Electric type Pokémon. It was even more risky when Remoraid was far more adept at navigating beneath the waves.

Raichu took the encouragement and made an effort to complete the request, it took a breath and pushed itself beneath the waves. Remoraid, who was swimming just below the surface, took advantage of the momentary shift in battle and in a split second there were two images of the Remoraid, then four; then eight. In a few moments there was a circle of flickering Remoraid around where Raichu was struggling to swim beneath the waves. It was a visually impressive approach, but it would make Raichu's task much more difficult to work effectively.

Raichu lurched forward as quickly as the resistance of the water would allow, picking out one of the images at random. The Extreme Speed was intended to attack as quickly as possible, but the drag of the water slowed the attack dramatically, not only that the chosen Remoraid was merely an illusion. The attack failed to connect and the illusion faded. There was multiple flickering images of Remoraid in the water, Raichu winced as the burn continued to hamper its health and it was unsure of who to attack as it was surrounded by the Jet Pokémon.
