I was on my way to the Great Lakes to start my spring break, when my phone went off. It was incredibly annoying. I knew that phone only rang for one damn thing; someone wanted me to go take someone else on a run. I wasn't in the mood to do this. I wanted to go see Ivy skinny dip at the lakes and flash on-goers. Now that I had to miss that and go away from the nice, cool lakes towards the incredibly hot mountains of Deckbi, I was going to be quite grumpy on this run.

Without further hesitation, I answered my phone. "What do you want?" I grumbled into the device.

"It is my Chain." The Ranger said, addressing himself.

"So? What do you want?" I repeated, just as rude.

"Uhh, There is someone here that needs to be taken on a run." He said.

"Obviously, that is why you are calling me and ruining my day. I am on my way." I said, shutting the phone. "Let's go Perceptor, we are back on duty." Perceptor was my Zangoose, and my most trusted partner. She let out a low growl and followed behind me.

"I know, I am not too thrilled about this either." I said. "but unfortunately we need this job so we will have to take this run, this should be the last run we need." A few minutes later we arrived at the Rangers headquaters building. Chain was there waiting and holding the folder. I walked over to him, snatched the folder, and walked off.

-getting to Deckbi.

"Okay, we're here now." I said, wiping the sweat off of my brow. I then opened the folder and looked inside. It was someone named Alex, and he sounded like a nublet. "Hopefully this damn guy won't keep us waiting long."

OCC: I lol'd at the title. Also, I posted in the Front Gate I had re-written my Cottonee disk to a Growlithe disk.

Alex held out a small piece of paper and swiped his pen across it. He ticked off a small box which had the words beside it: 'Go to Botanic Gardens'. As Alex ticked off some boxes; he was walking towards an Outpost, located in Mt. Deckbi. He had chosen Mt Deckbi for several reasons. Firstly, he was looking for some Fire Pokemon, realizing that some of his team were weak to Fire Pokemon. Secondly, he out searching for Litwick, a very powerful Pokemon which had a unique typing of Ghost and Fire. Finally, it was because a friend had said that Mt. Deckbi was a place where you supposedly see the whole National Park.

Alex walked ahead and noticed a figure standing outside the Outpost. Once Alex had reached the outpost, he greeted the Ranger and said, "Hello, the name is Alex. Alex Fisher." He winked at the Ranger and bent down, unzipping his bag and removing a small cassette player. He then withdrew a small disk and placed it into the cassette player. The disk spinned around and soon a synthetic sound of Litwick cry came out.

Commencing...

"Hello, the name is Alex. Alex Fisher." He said, winking at me. He seemed a bit fruity.

"I could care less what your name is, let's just go already." I grumbled. Instead of following me into Deckbi, he dropped to his knees and unzipped (don't think dirty gmandiddy) his backpack. He brought out a Pokeplayer and popped in a Litwick voice disk. When he pressed play, an eerie sound came out that sent chills down my back.

"Moron." I said quietly to myself. Perceptor just looked at him and sneered. I could tell she wanted to leave me and head back to the lakes. Winter was there skinny dipping with AshK. I was going to miss it. I had to try and push that thought aside, but it kept popping back in my head. This was going to be a long trip.

"There are no Litwicks here, they are farther in. So if you want to find one soon, hurry up and follow me." I said, trying not to sound as rude as I did earlier, but that wasn't turning out so good. We didn't get far before a dark blue rock came flying down nearly hitting me on the head.

"Damn falling rocks." I mumbled angrily to myself. The rock landed a few feet away and remained motionless. As we walked past it, the rock sprung up and jumped between the kid that called himself Alex and me. It taunted Alex, trying to get him to battle. I doubted This guy was going to waste his time with such a small Pokemon, but Park policy required me to ask.

"Want this damn Pokemon?" I asked him.

Alex waited for a couple of seconds, hoping that his voice disk worked; however his ranger walked up to him and said, "There are no Litwicks here, they are farther in. So if you want to find one soon, hurry up and follow me." Alex nodded and followed his ranger. He seemed more calmer now; maybe it was a reflex to stupid people. Then all of a sudden, out of thin air, appeared a Roggenrola. Alex’s ranger turned him and sighed, almost like he knew the answer.

“Want this damn Pokemon?” He asked. Alex looked towards him and said, “Nah, I’m fine.”

As he said that, he bent down and pressed the play button on his voice disk player. If the escape failed, Alex would resort to buying a PokeDoll.

“Nah, I’m fine.” He said, just as I had expected. I knew he didn't want this Pokemon, not many did. Roggenrola and his evolutionary forms were pretty cool, but they got beaten too easily for my liking. I loved strong Pokemon like Perceptor here. She could sure pack a punch. With that said and done, Alex pressed play on his voice disk, but all this appeared to do was anger the Roggenrola. We tried moving away from it, but the damn thing wouldn't stop following us. I just sighed, and Alex appeared to know what to do as he handed me some money to purchase a Pokedoll. I quickly took the money and pocketed it. Then I reached into my bag and pulled out a Pokedoll and threw it at the Rock type Pokemon.

Alex's Litwick sound kept playing as we headed towards the mountain. We'd find more Rock types than Fire types here, but we were getting to the area where I had found a Litwick one time. Hopefully he would have the same luck so we could get out of here faster. Perhaps there was still a chance I could see Ivy in the lake while she was skinny dipping. It was a bit of a stretch, but that was all I had as of now.

I kept my eyes peeled, trying to search for another Pokemon to throw at this guy. The more I threw at him, the faster we could get out of this incredibly hot place. I hadn't noticed earlier, but we were being followed. A small chick like Pokemon was trying to catch up with us. The little guy was really slow, he had to be a recently born baby, which more than likely meant the mother was near by. I looked down at the Torchic and sighed.

"This guy wants to battle you. If you wish to do the same, make it quick." I said.

We turned away from the Roggenrola and continued to walk down the path. However as soon as we took a couple of steps, Alex felt a tug on the back of his leg. He turned around and noticed Roggenrola following them. Alex turned to his ranger and handed over some money, indicating he was going to buy a PokeDoll. Alex didn't know why Pokemon where attracted to them, however they managed to do the job. He threw the PokeDoll towards the Roggenrola and watched as he took the doll away.

After walking down the path for a while, it became apparent that something was following them. Alex turned around and noticed a small Chic Pokemon standing before them.

"This guy wants to battle you. If you wish to do the same, make it quick." my Ranger said.

I looked at the Pokemon and declined. If the escape was unsuccessful, I would have to reach into my pocket again. Alex bent down again and played the cassette player.

Alex simply looked down at the baby Torchic and shook his head. Had he battle this baby Pokemon I would have lost respect for him as it wouldn't be a fair fight. I of course couldn't stop the battle because Trainers could capture whatever Pokemon they wanted besides Legendary Pokemon, but there was no chance any of them ever could anyways, the only time they couldn't capture a Pokemon was when it was unconscious. The Torchic, like probably any baby Pokemon was curious about us and refused to stop following us. Finally Alex paid me again I placed a doll down next to the little guy. The Torchic became quickly intrigued by the doll, which gave us a small window to escape.

We continued walking towards the mountain. There were quite a few Pokemon along the way, like Onix, but none got close enough for or even showed sign of wanting to come at us. Good thing too. I read on his file that he wanted to stay clear of these Ground type Pokemon. I wasn't quite sure, but it said here that he used a Ground type repellant before coming. It looked like it was still taking effect, which was good.

We were almost at the mountain when a little red and yellow ball rolled towards us. I could feel the heat coming off of it. The ball suddenly jumped into the air and two feet and two arms popped out. "Darumaka!" It cried out happily.

"Want to battle this?" I asked him.

Alex looked down at the small Torchic and smiled. He remembered seeing the same face when he visited the Pokemon Day Care centre and picked up his own Torchic. Alex was tempted to bring along his Blaziken, the fully evolved Pokemon of Torchic, however decided against it saying that a Fire type like Blaziken would not be effective against the Pokemon he hoped to see. Torchic looked up towards Alex, its small two beady eyes gleamed up at him, hoping he would stay and battle. Alex sighed and fished through his pockets for some money, hoping to buy a PokeDoll to satisfy the Torchic. After handing over the money, he held the PokeDoll and dropped it on the floor, watching the Torchic steadily walked towards it. She stretched her head out and started to peck the doll, examining it. After she had finished checking, the small Torchic quickly took the doll away into the grass.

Alex smiled and followed his ranger, who by now was rearing to carry on. They continued to walk ahead, passing bye some wild Pokemon. Alex looked on and watched a lonely Onix pass bye. It had no intentions of greeting Alex or even battling him. Alex had remembered that before he entered the part, he sprayed a special repellent on him. The repellent was designed by a Spanish Inventor, named Juan Diez Toto, and it was used to repel a certain Pokemon type. Alex had managed to get his hands on a repellent which repelled the ground ones. After walking past the Onix, Alex heard a feint cry ahead. It sounded like a baby Pokemon. The cry got louder and suddenly a small red Pokemon bounced out from a bush.

"Darumaka!" The small red Pokemon said as looked up at Alex. His ranger turned to him and said, “Want to battle this?”

Alex nodded. His main intentions of coming to Mt Deckbi were to catch any interesting or rare Pokemon. Alex looked at the small Pokemon and scanned it with his PokeDex.

Alex reached for his belt and withdrew one of his Pokemon. He held the capsule in his hand and threw it into the air. The capsule burst open and a large brown Pokemon appeared from the flash. It circled in the air, its large pincer like tail following the scaly body. Alex looked up at Gliscor and shouted, “Scorp, I need your help in capturing this Pokemon.” Gliscor acknowledged the called and swept down to Alex. Gliscor halted in front of Alex and awaited further orders.

“Ok Gliscor, I want you to use Sand Attack followed by Poison Jab.” Alex commanded.

Alex hoped that the Sand Attack would disturb the Darumaka, causing it to panic and not think thoroughly about what it is doing. Poison Jab was there to inflict some damage, not causing a lot however enough to show that we are here to do business.

‘When its internal fire is burning, it cannot calm down and it runs around. When the fire diminishes, it falls asleep.’ His Pokedex or whatever device he had in his hand called out. He really needed to upgrade that device, it really did not give very much information to go on. I just shrugged, perhaps that was how he liked it. He pulled out a Pokeball and tossed it besides him. A large, purple and black flying scorpion appeared from the sphere and extended its wings to take flight.
'
“Scorp," He said, which was basically Gliscor without the Gli and a P added at the end, how original. "I need your help in capturing this Pokemon.” His Gliscor simply nodded and awaited for further commands.

“Ok Gliscor, I want you to use Sand Attack followed by Poison Jab.” Alex he called out. However, it was the Darumaka that struck first. The pudgy little Fire type bounced into the air with his fist pulled back. The small little fist quickly became engulfed in flames as he struck down hard on Gliscor's left wing. Gliscor fell to the ground, but it wasn't because of the attack. With his undamaged wing, he scooped into the ground and threw dirt into the eyes of the Darumaka, temporarily blinding it. Without sparing time for the Darumaka to recover, Gliscor quickly struck Darumaka with a hard, poisonous blow in the chest. I could see some purple bubbles pop around the Darumaka, but it didn't appear to last.

“Ok Gliscor, I want you to use Sand Attack followed by Poison Jab.” Alex commanded.

The huge scorpion-like bird looked across to his trainer and nodded and turned back around and faced the Darumaka. Gliscor slammed his pincers shut and opened them, aggravating the wild Fire Pokemon. However it was Darumaka to strike first. The small red Pokemon quickly bolted ahead and leaped into the air. Alex had never seen a Pokemon move so agile and quick. The fire Pokemon raised his small red fist and started to channel energy into it. Now, seconds later, his fist was engulfed by a red flame. Darumaka raised his fist and slammed it into Gliscor’s left wing, sending the Scorpion Pokemon spiralling into the ground. Alex was quite amazed at the sheer power, speed and determination of this Darumaka and decided it would be an excellent addition to the team.

Gliscor steadied itself up from the ground and, with his right wing, scooped up some dirt from the floor and scattered it towards the Darumaka. The dust messed up Darumaka vision and the small Fire Pokemon couldn’t see much. Gliscor decided to act fast and quickly swooped down towards Darumaka. Gliscor stretched out his wings and they started to glow in a dark purple colour. Gliscor sliced his wings against the Darumaka and sent the small fire Pokemon flying. Bubbles of poison started to bubble out from the Darumaka body; however it didn’t have much of a long term effect.

Alex looked back at Darumaka and started to think what he should do next. Alex didn’t want to risk using all of Gliscor’s power on the Darumaka, but he didn’t want to make the Pokemon think that we are not worthy. Alex looked up at Gliscor soaring around in the sky and shouted out to the Scorpion-like Pokemon”Gliscor, use Acrobatics.” Gliscor nodded in agreement and looked down at the fire Pokemon, preparing to launch a full scale attack on him.

Commencing...

”Gliscor, use Acrobatics.” Alex instructed at his Gliscor. The Gliscor was already up in the air waiting for his orders. Once he heard them, he immediately jumped to them. The Flying/Ground type danced around rhythmically in circles around Darumaka, looking closely for a weak spot to hit. Darumaka didn't take his eyes off of the dancing Gliscor, I wasn't sure exactly what he had in mind at this point. The accuracy of Darumaka wasn't that great now, so if he wanted to land a blow on Gliscor, he was going to have to time it with good precision.

Gliscor appeared to have found a weak spot on Darumaka, as he swooped down fast and struck the small Fire type hard on its head. The blow caused momentary confusion, but it wasn't long lasting. Darumaka was now looking a bit worn out, I knew it could take a bit more before he either passed out or was caught. The little guy appeared to panic and began breathing fire all over the place. The Flamethrower attack hit Gliscor many times, but it was never held steady enough to do major damage or issue a burn.That and the fact that his accuracy was lowered was good for Gliscor. Alex was lucky there.

I wasn't sure what he was planning on doing next, but that last move was pretty good. Although ineffective, it did a good amount of damage while also momentarily confusing Darumaka. He was going to have to be more precise with his moves though. He was also going to have to be careful not to use an incredibly powerful move on Gliscor. Hopefully he did this quickly though, skinny dipping Ivy was waiting on me.

“Gliscor, use Acrobatics,” Alex commanded. Acrobatics was a powerful flying physical attack, and knew that it was enough to deal the right amount of damage, without knocking the Pokemon out.

Gliscor took to the air and started to dance through the sky like one of the Red Arrows soaring through the sky. Darumaka at this point was looking at the flying Gliscor, trying to get a clear shot to attack. The sand had disrupted its vision and made fire long ranged attacks very hard. Gliscor waited and waited, waiting for the right moment to attack. Then Gliscor noticed a slight hesitation in Darumaka’s movement and quickly soared down. The Scorpion Pokemon plummeted down towards the small Fire Pokemon and within metres of contact, focused his attack towards the head of Darumaka. Gliscor slammed his wing onto the small head on Darumaka and then returned to the skies.

The attack seemed to cause a brief concussion for Darumaka and the small fire Pokemon started to stumble around, seeming lost. After regaining conscious, Darumaka began to panic and fired bursts of fire around the place, trying to aim for Gliscor. Although unfortunately for Darumaka, he couldn’t get a good shot on the opponent Pokemon because of the sand which was fired into his eye by Gliscor moments ago. Gliscor dived through the air, evading the oncoming fire attacks. However Gliscor seemed to be too cocky and he would be hit by some of the stray shots. Alex looked up and raised his hand to his face. Gliscor had a tendency to get too involved in a battle and started to develop a cocky character.

The longer Gliscor went about dodging the attacks, Darumaka was getting the more and more tired. Soon Darumaka stopped attacking and took a rest, hoping to catch his breath. Alex took this time to develop an idea, in which he would be able to capture this Pokemon. Darumaka was now tired and his accuracy was low, meaning Gliscor was safe from a distance. By looking at the Darumaka, it was safe to say that Darumaka was slowly wearing down and had to have around half of its energy left. He glanced up at the flying Gliscor and started to look at his move set. Gliscor hadn’t been with Alex long which means it has learnt a lot of moves. The three elemental fangs wouldn’t be handy here. If Alex had ordered Gliscor to use Acrobatics again, the Darumaka may expect it again and counter against it. After seconds of wondering Alex was ready to give the command.

“Gliscor, I want you to use Screech followed by a quick Slash attack. After retreat the Sky, it seems its long ranged attacks are not working as efficiently.” Alex commanded.

He hoped that Screech would unsettle Darumaka and provided Gliscor with an opening to attack without much retaliation. Then Gliscor would hopefully be able to escape without much hassle and would be safe in the sky.

They flying scorpion nodded once to show it understood what it was being asked to do. Screech is a move that sounds like it is. It is basically just a loud shrieking or screeching sound that lowered the defenses of the Pokemon that heard this. It sounded different depending on which Pokemon it was coming from. Some Pokemon sounded like nails scratching chalkboard while others sounded like tires scraping against the concrete as it came to an abrupt stop. I however, wasn't going to wait to hear this, I quickly covered my ears and prepared myself for the oncoming Screech attack.

Gliscor opened his mouth and immediately let out the Screech. Judging by the reaction Darumaka was giving, I could tell it was loud and painful, at least to its ears. The small Fire type slammed its arms to the side of his face to try and block out the sound. The attempts seemed to have failed though because he was still cringing and he dropped to his knees. Now that his defense was incredibly low, he was going to have a hard time deflecting attacks and defending himself. Alex was also going to have to watch out to not knock the little guy out.

Darumaka recovered as quickly as it possibly could from the attack, but it was too late. Gliscor had already soared in and slashed the wild Pokemon hard with his large claw. Darumaka tried to ignore the pain as he prepared his next move. Fire was shooting out of Darumaka's mouth. The fire formed into a large, star-shaped form that was quickly launched at Gliscor. The Fire Blast attack was launched incredibly quick, Gliscor wasn't able to avoid the attack... at least not entirely. Gliscor wasn't hit by the full attack, just by a bit of it. He was lucky that accuracy was down on Darumaka. He was going to have to capture it pretty soon or else risk accidentally knocking it out.

“Gliscor, I want you to use Screech followed by a quick Slash attack. After retreat the Sky, it seems its long ranged attacks are not working as efficiently.” Alex commanded.

Alex knew that Screech was a move which lowered the defence of a wild Pokemon and caused the opponent to be more vulnerable to close attacks. Despite Screech’s usefulness in a battle, it did have a huge side effect; it was painful to listen. Gliscor acknowledged Alex’s command and looked down at the small fire Pokemon. Then Gliscor opened his mouth and produced an ear-piercing sound wave. White circles dispersed from Gliscor’s mouth and descended down to the Darumaka. A piercing high pitch noise was generated amongst the white circles. Alex placed his hands over his ears, trying to muffle the sound, which sounded like a fingernail travelling across a black board.

Darumaka quickly tried to prevent the sound waves from entering his head and lifted his small hands to cover his dandelion yellow ears. He managed to muffle the sound, however the intensity of the waves was too great to escape and the sheer power of the waves made Darumaka weak. The small fire Pokemon fell to the floor, hoping the screeching would stop soon. Alex watched this happen and turned his attention to Gliscor. Gliscor stopped producing the piercing sound waves and swooped down towards the Darumaka. He outstretched his pincers and clutched them together, speeding up the movement of the oncoming Gliscor. As Gliscor was within a couple of metres from the Darumaka, he opened his pincers and revealed a set of two fang-like claws. The claws were as sharp as lion’s teeth and deadly as a great white shark. Gliscor swooped down and guided his claws across the side of Darumaka body. The small fire Pokemon cried out loud and rolled in the opposite direction from where Gliscor was coming across from.

Gliscor rose back up into the sky as ordered and watched as Darumaka jumped back onto his feet. The small fire Pokemon started to relax and breathe in some of the air, preparing itself. Then Darumaka suddenly fired out a blast of fire from its mouth, storming towards Gliscor. The fire was shot out in the shape of a star and collided against Gliscor. Thankfully for Gliscor, Darumaka wasn’t firing straight and started to fire in different directions. Alex was thankful that Darumaka accuracy was down or Gliscor would be in a lot of trouble. Darumaka’s Fire Blast started to die down and took in some more air, trying to catch his breath. The small fire Pokemon looked exhausted and surely the battle would be over very soon.

Alex looked up to Gliscor and noticed that he was fine and ready to attack again. However Alex knew that if Gliscor used another powerful move like Slash, Darumaka would be knocked out and all his hard work would’ve been for nothing. He looked in his bag and searched through all his clutter. After searching through his bag, he picked out a small yellow and grass-green ParkBall. He looked up at Gliscor and shouted, “Gliscor, use Quick Attack; however make sure Darumaka is still breathing after. Then I’ll make the capture.”

Commencing...

I had sort of droned off thinking about Ivy and her bikini at the lakes. I wasn't sure how long I had zoned off for, but when I snapped out of it, Alex had already threw his Pokeball at Darumaka. The ball shook about five times before coming to a stop. I walked over towards it and picked it up. I placed the sphere containing the small Fire type into my pocket. I looked around for a new area to go to.

To my left I saw a narrow trail that spiraled up the mountain. I saw another trail that led behind the mountain, and one that led inside the mountain. I wasn't sure which area to go with, but I guessed it didn't matter so long as I handed him what he wanted, which I wasn't really sure what that was besides Litwick.

"Take a moment to rest." I said, even though I hoped he hurried the fuck up.

Gliscor swooped down from the sky at a blistering speed and smacked into Darumaka. Darumaka was sent flying through the air and smacked into the ground. Alex removed a small green and yellow Parkball from his bag and held it in his hand. He kissed it and threw it towards Darumaka, hoping for a capture. The ball bounced off Darumaka and suddenly sucked into the Darumaka. It rolled around for a couple of seconds before a feint click came from the ball. Alex wanted to celebrate however he quickly moved towards his bag and pressed the play button on his player.

"Lets go left," He said to his ranger.

Commencing...

"Lets go left," He said to me. He then proceeded to play his Voice disk, but after waiting a while, it appeared to work just as good as the other times he tried it. His luck was not going very well, especially with the Pokemon he has encountered. Besides Darumaka, the other two were sort of lame and not worth catching at all. Still, even though he was keeping me from seeing Ivy nude, I still hoped he at least found one more good Pokemon in this hot as hell place If not, I would have wasted my time here burning up instead of being at the lakes.

"Alright, left it is." I said shrugging. "We'll spiral up the mountain and see what we can find there." With that, I led him up the mountain. I wasn't expecting anything interesting to pop up, I was ready to be surprised, hoped he was as well. About five minutes later, a large rock purplish blue rock with small red rocks moved from where it was laying an moved in front of Alex. It was a Boldore, the evolved form of Roggenrola. It looked as if it were trying to tell us something, but I couldn't quite guess what that was.

"Do you wish to battle this Boldore?" I asked him, already knowing his answer.

"Alright, left it is." His ranger said shrugging. "We'll spiral up the mountain and see what we can find there."

Alex followed his trainer up the mountain, hoping for find a Litwick. He listened to the synthetic cry of Litwick as they walked. Alex started to wonder how they managed to record each Pokemon's cry and the amount of time it took. They would've had to go to every area and visit every single species. Thinking about it, he was surprised how hard these Rangers worked, despite the rumours of them being lazy and bunking of work to go swimming in the lakes.

After walking for five minutes, Alex noticed a rock moving up ahead. His ranger halted him and stood still and watched as the Pokemon looked at the group. It looked like it was trying to say something however Alex couldn't speak Pokemon.

"Do you wish to battle this Boldore?" the ranger asked him. Alex shook his head, knowing that he already had a Gigiliath at home. He reached into his bag, taking out some money if they did not escape.

Alex shook his head. From his file that I had skimmed over earlier before he arrived, I saw that he already had obtained a Gigalith, the evolved form of Boldore. This dude couldn't understand what the Boldore was saying, so he just decided to leave it. However, Boldore appeared to want to tell Alex something, and persisted on trying to explain. I pulled out a Pokedoll and tossed it at Boldore after Alex paid me the cash. Boldore stopped its babbling and appeared to be in a trance. Pokedolls had that strange effect on Pokemon. I wasn't sure why, perhaps it was because they were charmed or some shit like that.

We began to walk away, but then the Boldore stepped in front of us. I looked back at the Pokedoll and saw that it was gone, I had no idea what had happened to it. It was extremely rare to find a Pokemon who wasn't interested in the dolls or that could break the trance. I looked back at the Boldore who was now glowing white and growing in size. I then realized what it was trying to tell us, that it was just about to evolve. Of course I had no idea why the heck it wanted to tell us, perhaps it was because it wanted Alex to battle him to test his new power.

Boldore grew about three feet taller and its four legs grew longer. It was now a Gigalith. "Hmm, well how about that. It isn't every day that you come across a Pokemon that evolves right in front of you eyes. That was quite cool." I said to him, then went back to my rude attitude. "Do you wish to battle it?" I asked him. I knew he was going to say no, and I also knew that the Gigalith would be extremely disappointed that Alex didn't want to battle him. As long as I had another doll ready though, we would be fine and we could escape easily without any problems.

Alex tried to walk away from the Boldore, but noticed that it wasn't moving. He look at his ranger and handed over some money. He exchanged the money for a PokeDoll and watched as his trainer threw the PokeDoll towards the Boldore. The Boldore stopped still and fixed his eyes on the Doll, almost like it was in a trance with it. Alex and his ranger slowly walked off, hoping the Boldore would just leave us alone.

As we continued to walk along, we noticed the Boldore following us. It was strange, its was never known for a wild Pokemon to ignore a PokeDoll and continue following the trainer. However something was strange about the Boldore. Seconds after tracking them down, it suddenly glowed in a white colour and started to increase in size. It was evolving. Alex had never seen something like this happen in the park before.

"Hmm, well how about that. It isn't every day that you come across a Pokemon that evolves right in front of you eyes. That was quite cool." his ranger said in a more uplifting tone, however then returned to his original rude tone by saying, "Do you wish to battle it?"

"I am afraid no, however I'll use another doll if it doesn't work," Alex said. He went into his bag and changed disks from Litwick to Growlithe, lets hope we have more luck
