(Just gonna recycle my old intro because recycling is good for the environment.)

It was bright outside. The sun was shining. Sunflora and Cherrim danced outside in the grass. It was a good day to do some rangering. Dee and his Luxray sat in their new office, waiting for a trainer to come by. Everything was quiet, a bit too quiet for his liking. Just then, the silence in the room was suddenly disrupted by the sound of a heavy file slamming on the desk.

"Here's your first assignment," said a droning voice. It was the Park Secretary. She quickly walked back to her desk before Dee could turn around. He looked at the file.

"A new... ...trainer?" He gulped. He'd never taken anyone through the park before. "Well, umm, I guess we should go." He and Luxray headed out to the area where new trainers waited for a ranger to pick them up.

"Ahem!" came the voice of the secretary.

"What is it?" Dee replied quickly.

The secretary didn't say anything. She just pointed towards Dee's backpack, a neatly organized box of supplies and a walkie-talkie to keep in contact with the main gate.

"Oh! I almost forgot!" Dee quickly picked up the backpack and began to stuff all of the items into it.

"Not all of it!" The secretary yelled with a little more excitement in their voice.

"You're right," Dee said in agreement. In the end, he ended up grabbing a Pokedoll, a Status Potion, a Semi-Heal Potion, and a Heal Potion.

"That's better," the secretary said in a sarcastic voice.

"Right," Dee said as he continued out the door towards the Main Gate.

"They're gonna eat him alive," the secretary said under her voice.

    "What was that?" Dee asked.

"Oh, go nail it!" The secretary replied, surprised that she'd been heard.

"Of course," Dee said with a smile.

When he got to the Main gate, he saw a trainer wearing a basic white tee and blue jeans. He had to look up a bit to look the trainer in the eye.

"Hi, I'm Dee and I'll be your ranger for today," he said, holding out his hand. "Sennyo Batu, right?"

I hadn’t been hanging around the main gate to the national park for that long and I was already filled with excitement about the adventure I was about to take. I was also quite bored, not being one who could wait without daydreaming. I hadn’t notice the ranger come towards me with and jump a few inches when he started to talk

“Hi, I'm Dee and I’ll be your ranger for today”, the ranger said. “Sennyo Batu, right?”

I look down to notice that ranger was holding out his hand. I took it and gave him a firm hand shake.

“Yea I'm Sennyo Batu, or Sennyo, or Sen If that is easier. Nice to meet you, Dee. We are heading to the Power plant right; well I’ll follow you as it will be easier”.

OOC This should be fun. I'll most likey change the way i write form first person to third in the middle of this Rp. Also is there a minum charater count before we reach our encouters or not?

(Yeah, minimum character count for a non-battle post is 500 characters. These posts also add up to the minimum character requirement for the overall Pokemon. Minimum requirements for each Pokemon can be found here.)

I could tell that the trainer was excited to finally be able to enter the park, so I didn't want to steal that from him. I immediately opened the gate and let him in. The trainer came in and shook my hand.

"Well, without further to do," I started, "let's go to the Power Plant." I led the trainer to the teleportation platform and input a code into the terminal there. A display on the terminal stated that we were going to Oupost #6.

"Come on," I said to the trainer as I stepped onto the platform. "This will only take a second." The trainer joined me on the platform and instantly, we were transported to a big, abandoned warehouse. It looked like a big concrete box with tinted windows. A bunch of Voltorb and Electrode rolled behind the bushes as we stepped into the building. Their actions were almost ominous of what was to come.

The inside of the building wasn't very bright, despite this being a source of electricity; however, it wasn't dark enough for us to have to use Flash just yet. I thought it was odd, but quickly shook it off as one of the seven mysteries. There were a bunch of hallways in the building that led to different place; however, I hadn't been here enough to know which place was which. Finally, I decided to leave the choice up to the trainer.

"There are three corridors here," I stated. "Which one do you want to take?"

I looked at him, expecting his answer to come soon.

I stood at the junction of the three possible corridors that lay in our path. The current hallway that we stood in was dimly lit and the paths ahead looked darker still. I called myself an idiot for not having a Pokémon on me that could use the move flash later in this place. I would have to hope that the ranger did, or one of the many electric Pokémon I had planned to try and catch in this man made habitat.

"There are three corridors here," Dee had said. "Which one do you want to take?" I thought about this for a while, not wanting to be the one who got them lost in the dark.

“Well,” I began to speak my inaccurate mind, “It seem to me that the second corridor, (on the left?) While they all look similar, seem bigger and most likely would have larger room on it.”

If I'm right it would also mean the rooms would most likely have better lighting as well, and the corridor seem the bright to me. I thought to myself.

“So shall we go that way?” I clutch one of the pokéball that I had on me for comfort, reminding myself what I was here for.

"Shall we go that way?" Sennyo replied to my question. He was pointing at the second corridor. All of the hallways were pretty dark. I knew that he was trying not to get us lost, but then, reassured him that everything was under control.

"That's the ranger's job," I said. I led him down the second corridor. Soon, it had gotten darker to the point where we couldn't see anything, so I ordered Luxray to use Flash. The increased presence of electric-type Pokemon in the plant allowed Luxray to store great amount of electricity within her fur. The electricity caused her fur to glow brightly. It wasn't as good as full lighting would have been but it would have to suffice. We continued down the long corridor until we approached a larger room.

I was turning around to thank Luxray when I saw a large metallic sphere floating behind it. After I could make out two magnets sticking from both ends of the sphere, I knew exactly what was going on. A Magnemite was attempting to suck the electricity from Luxray!

"Quick, Luxray!" I yelled. "Stop using Flash!"

The Pokemon instantly stopped glowing and we were surrounded in complete darkness. I heard buzzing as a bunch of Pokemon moved into the room with us. When the Pokemon started to glow, it was revealed as three Magnemite in the room with us. They soon congregated and in a flash of light, evolved into a Magneton. I was awe-struck at being able to witness an evolution like this.

"Magneton!" The newly evolved Pokemon chanted. It started to float in a circle around us, eyeballing Luxray the whole time. Luxray growled at the threat.

"Well, you just saw what happened, right?" I asked Sennyo. "Are you interested in getting a Magneton?"

The events that I had just participated in were a mixture of scary, exciting, confusing, and wonderful. I had been delighted when the ranger’s Luxray had used the move Flash. At least I can see what is coming toward me, I Thought to myself. Then we entered the large room. I had not had enough time to look around the place properly, and had taken a few steps further in, when I heard Dee shout.

"Quick, Luxray! Stop using Flash!" I turned on the spot and froze, my right hand going straight for my belt, as the room went black. All I could hear under the rangers and my breath were Buzzing noises and wild Pokemon moving around. Then the three Magnet Pokémon started to glow and Merge into one. I had seen Pokémon evolution before but the sight was still one I wished I had a camera for.

“Magneton,” the new Pokémon had called. I couldn’t help but notice it staring at the Luxray, no doubt believing it is a threat, I thought

“Well, you just saw what happened, right?” Dee had asked "Are you interested in getting a Magneton?"

I pondered at the question and smiled. I unclipped one of my pokéball form my belt and summon forth my Shuppet from inside. “I'm interested, but let see what our new friend here make of Sara, shall we. The first move is all his.”

    vs. Magneton BP1

Sennyo decided that he did indeed want to battle a Magneton. He nodded and stepped back as he sent out Sara the Shuppet to battle the Pokémon.

"The first move is all his,” he stated.

I nodded and waited for the Pokémon to attack; however, it wouldn’t take its eyes away from my Luxray. I didn’t need this Pokémon attacking the Pokémon that helped me carry out my duties as a ranger, so I had to recall Luxray.

“It’ll just be for this little while,” I said, knowing that Luxray hated to be inside of her Pokeball.

After seeing that Luxray was gone, Magneton had no choice but to fix its gaze on Shuppet. The Pokémon stared at Magneton, waiting for it to attack. Finally, after seeing that these intruders weren’t going to go anywhere, Magneton decided to battle. Maybe, if it got rid of this ghost Pokémon, the humans would leave.

After contemplating the best way to get rid of the Pokémon before it, Magneton started to take in energy, then it released a beam of electricity at the Shuppet.

The attack came suddenly, but I trusted Sennyo to have a plan to take care of this. After all, the Pokémon is only as good as its trainer, and Shuppet seemed like a good little Pokémon.

Dee nodded at me and waited for the Magneton to attack Sara. Yet the Steel Pokémon would not avert its gaze from the Luxray. While I did not mind waiting, I started to think that maybe I should have had Sara attack the Magneton first to get it attention. Dee however acted first by recalling her Luxray into it pokéball.

“It’ll just be for this little while,” she had said. I gathered the feeling Luxray must of not like to be kept in a pokéball, Something that reminded me of the Pokémon back at home. I blinked and brought my attention back to the battle to start. Magneton had seen to decide it would attack, and began to gather energy to create electricity. I smile as the fight began and turned to my Shuppet.

“Sara, you know what to do, Unleashed the Ghost inside of you!” I commanded, with a small smirk on my face. Sara seemed to have a familiar smirk on her face as well and dove straight into the line of fire, determined to be hit.

For some reason I decide to explain her action. “You see all ghosts Pokémon are said to hold a special Curse inside of them, even my girl Sara here. A curse that can only be unlock when a Ghost injures itself. A curse that affects the one who injured it.” I did not worry to see if anyone was listening to my rambling, and took in a deep breath before continuing. “My plan here is to have Shuppet take a small enough damage in order to unleash this Curse, causing Magneton to suffer damage himself. Sara will hopefully get out of the way and then our real attacks shall begin. An attack that will use the darkness around use itself. The Nightshade.”

    vs Magneton BP2

((I couldn’t help but notice that you made me a female in your posts. I can most definitely say that I am not a female. Not sure how you got that idea, but yeah, definitely a male here.))

Sennyo jumped right into action after Magneton started to attack. I could tell that he wanted to take a strategic approach in the battle because he ordered Shuppet to use Curse. Shuppet sacrificed her own energy and used it to put a curse on Magneton. Magneton seemed tormented to the point where it almost couldn’t attack Shuppet; however, it managed to hit the Pokémon anyway. Curse seemed to take its toll on Magneton’s health as it screeched and howled in pain. I felt a bit sorry for the Pokémon, but I knew that it would be over soon.

For a minute, Magneton was able to ignore the pain that it was suffering from curse and charged another beam to fire towards Shuppet. Electricity seemed to come from nowhere. When it had collected enough energy, it released a wicked blue stream of electricity at Shuppet in another attempt to hit it.

“You should be careful!” I yelled at the trainer, knowing that Shuppet’s health had taken a significant drop. “Try not to get hit anymore. Now that you’ve got Curse set up, try and stall a bit while dodging his attacks!”

“Try not to get hit anymore. Now that you’ve got Curse set up, try and stall a bit while dodging his attacks!” Dee Yelled

I pause as I took in every word that Dee had to say. He was right; Sara had taken a lot of damage from her last attack. The disadvantage of a curse, I thought. I now need to find so where to keep my Shuppet safe. I scanned the room quickly for any cover Shuppet could use. Then a thought came to me. Currently the only light being produce inside this Room was from the Magneton and the Electric that he was producing.

“Sara, dodge Magneton attack by Diving into the Darkness.” Sennyo Shouted. The Female Shuppet listened to her Master command and dives to her right in order to reach the darkness. Then her skin started to turn transparent and fade. I notice this and smile, “Good girl! Faint attack! I didn’t think of that, do you really need me to fight?” I joked. While in the back of my mind I feared for my Shuppet safety. If she was not careful, this would be a very quick battle.

And I only have 2 super potion on me, I thought to myself.

OOC sorry i hadnt relised that, i could come up with an excuse like the fact i know a Dee and She is female, but it was just a mistake. erm, lol

    vs. Magneton BP3
(It’s okay. Lol, I was more shocked than offended. Also, you should try working towards your MCR. The battles started to come to a close and the closer you are to your MCR, the better your chances of successful capture.)

What little I could see of Sennyo’s face showed that he had an idea. Then, he ordered his Pokémon to dive into the darkness. Sara became transparent and completely disappeared. Needless to say, this confused Magneton and his Charge Beam basically hit nothing but air. Then, Sara suddenly reappeared and attacked the magnetic Pokémon. I smiled and Sennyo rejoiced.

“Do you really need me to fight?” he said jokingly. Sara smiled at her trainer’s praise. She waited eagerly for her trainer’s next command. I could sense that Sara trusted her trainer deeply, but at the same time wanted to show him that she was a strong and reliable Pokémon.

Magneton started to screech. I could tell that it was upset. I didn’t know whether this was because of the curse inflicting it, or surprise attack from Shuppet; however, it was highly likely that it was a combination of both.

Magneton just had to get rid of this Pokémon. This Pokémon and her trainer were making it look like a joke, and it didn’t appreciate that one bit. If it couldn’t hit the Pokémon from a distance, it was going to attack it head-on. It started to gather up some electricity.

“It’s attempting to use Spark,” I yelled at Magneton. I had learned enough during my time as a ranger to know this. “Maybe you can trick it again. It’s not thinking straight because of the curse you put on it.”

After Magneton had gathered up enough electricity, it started to charge at Shuppet. It wasn’t a very fast speed, but it wasn’t slow either. Sennyo would have to think fast if he would dodge this attack.

OOC sorry it took so long to reply ( work and a distraction called a mate staying round before heading off to uni, oh and warhammer) so ive made a rather long post(was likley to anyway). also after the battle would it be possible for me to buy some more items? if so do i post in the park shop or should i post my oder here?

Sara Carried out the Faint Attack exactly as we had planned, almost disappearing completely into the darkness that she used as cover. The Magneton attack travelled straight though Sara Last clear location to hit noting in particular or at least nothing that would affect the course of this battle. The fact its attack had missed confused the Magneton. I wonder what the Pokémon was thinking at that moment, did it believe that Sara Disappearance was in fact the ghost Pokémon fleeing the battlefield or did it know that Sara was readying herself for the attack, slowly getting closer. If the Magneton did know of the attack, it reacted to late as Sara appeared in front of him and attack. I rejoiced in triumph of Sara successfully pulling the attack off pushing the Magneton back.

The Magneton seemed to Screech out of a mixture of what appeared to be Pain and anger. It was upset and more now than ever it seems the newly evolved wanted to win the battle against my Shuppet. I started to realise why it was feeling this way. If I had just evolved, or more likely one of my Pokémon had, to become something stronger and wiser, I would want to win my first battle to prove my Pokémon or myself in our new form. What more, I realised that we had appeared inside of its home and at first he did not want to battle, more so the modest Pokémon seem to want to be left alone. Finally and what I believed to have been the major turning point in our opponents behaviour was the methods that we seemed to be attacking it, using deception and trickery. The Magneton in total seems to be getting more and more upset and reckless, which meant the tactic that Sara and I were using was working.

The Magneton started to charge up electricity again as Sara floated in front of him, not too far away from her opponent and yet not to close. I expected the possibility that the Magneton would try the same move again. The only other thing it could to was charge head on toward the enemy.

“It’s attempting to use Spark,” Dee yelled. I acknowledged that He most likely knew what the Pokémon could do, or at least more than me.

“Wait a moment but spark a; that means he plan to attack me head on!” I realised, noting that my original thought was wrong. I cursed myself for not being two steps ahead of my opponent and had to quickly.

“Maybe you can trick it again. It’s not thinking straight because of the curse you put on it.” My ranger advised. I had planned to do that I just did not know how.

“Thank” I Replied under my breath. I closed my eyes to think for a second and blink back open a second later, I had a plan but there was not much time.

The Magneton had gathered up enough electricity, it started to charge at Shuppet. It wasn’t a very fast speed, but it wasn’t slow either. “There not much time!” I shouted to Sara, Head into the Shadow, like last time. I knew that the Magneton would not fool for the same trick twice in a row and may have devised a means of counting it. I knew Sara would know that to and hoped she would obey.

“Ok Sara! Here goes nothing. Night shade!” I shouted out the command and hoped. Sara body seemed to emit darkness that slowly to control of the entire room. It was different to the darkness already in the room and it looked like a shady Purple mist, much like that produced by the Pokémon Gastly, and felt both cold and hot at the same time. I just hoped that the attack would damage the genderless Pokémon and before his Spark attack hit.

    vs. Magneton BP4

(It's cool. If you ever have to leave for a while and you know in advance, just let me know. Also, you're not really allowed to use any items you purchase after starting this run until you go into the park again. However, if you need health potions or Pokedolls, I carry special ranger items that you can buy. Look in the Park Shop for more info. They are Pokedoll, Semi-Heal Potion, Heal Potion and Status Potion. Those are about the only items that you can buy and use now.)

Magneton was charging at Misdreavus while Sennyo was thinking of his next move. He had to think fast, Magneton would hit Misdreavus if she didn’t do something. Time was running out. This was something that Sennyo knew all to well.

“Ok Sara! Here goes nothing. Night shade!” Sara faded into the darkness again, just as Magneton was about to hit her. The Pokémon, however, wasn’t confused this time around. It had seen this before and it knew just how to react to it too.

I wondered why Sennyo was using the exact same attack as last time. I know I had said to trick it, but not by using the same attack. Magneton must have known how to deal with Faint Attack next time. Then, what happened next took me by surprise. The entire room was covered by a dark shade. It was already dark, but this dark was accompanied by a purple mist and a bad feeling. I couldn’t describe the feeling, I just knew that it was bad and I didn’t like it. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a black beam of light shot out and struck Magneton. The Pokémon fell to the ground with a loud clang sound. For a minute, it was dark again, since the light that Magneton was emitting went out; however, the little light we had came back when Magneton recovered from its fall.

Magneton got back up, screeching. This time, however, it wasn’t as loud as the other times. The curse must have been receding. It didn’t seem to do much damage. Magneton started to charge again. All of its attacks seemed to start off with it charging. This time, however, it was about to discharge the electricity everywhere in the room. The electricity went everywhere. Luckily, it missed Sennyo and me; however, the electricity from the attack was heading straight for Shuppet.

I chuckled under my breath, it seem to me as if my Shuppet was blessed with good luck in this fight, or my opponent was bless with bad luck the Attack had been successful to the point that any light Magneton was emitting had vanished when hit. I couldn’t see anything and had to rely on my hearing and other senses. The Magneton seemed to hit the grounded causing a loud clang sound.

“Is it over?” I said under my breath. I put my hand into my pocket in order to pick up an empty pokéball when a thought occurred to me, how would I be able to see the Magneton to try and catch it in the dark, I wouldn’t know where to throw the pokéball exactly. I heard a sound moving in the air ahead. “That must be Sara” I thought to myself. Another idea appeared to me, she could most likely see for me. I smiled until I heard the screeching noise of my opponent and the sudden reappear of light made me cringe a bit. The Magneton screeching didn’t seem as bad this time round. “The curses pain must be wearing down, I hadn’t realised that he had taken that much damage already.”

It looked like that Magneton was charging again for another electrical attack. I wondered if it was going to use an attack that it already had tried to use. It turned out I was wrong as the Magneton discharge the electricity from its body. As soon as the first small spark left his body, I knew I had to react quickly. My mind began to work out how his turn could go. It would take the Discharge around 3 to 5 seconds to hit it target, meaning I could not easily dodge it, also the attack seemed to travel in every direction, It most likely wouldn’t hit me or my ranger I realised, but I knew to take a few steps back anyway. It would however hit my Shuppet. It dawned on me that even a sneaky manoeuvre like going into the shadows and attacking again wouldn’t be fast enough, Sara was going to be hit and I could do nothing about it. I sighed; I knew what I would have to do, attack head on.

It took me One second to think up my strategies. This was followed by another second of me stepping back and shouting the command, “Sara! Use Shadow Sneak!” I turned around to get further back. I knew what should happen.

Sara eyes glowed an ice blue colour and lock onto the Magneton. A Shadow about the same size as the opposing Pokémon appeared, connecting the two fighters together as if it was a piece of string. Shuppet began to fade into the shadow and charge the enemy. It was now a case of what would hit first an ghost travelling in the shadows or a n electoral discharge travelling in a form of light.

    I turned around and watched.

    vs. Magneton BP5

Sennyo realized what was happening when Magneton used Discharge. The electricity produced by Magneton’s attack was going everywhere within the battle range. Peculiarly, it came nowhere near to hitting us. There was nothing Shuppet could do to dodge the attack. Her only choice was to try and beat Magneton to the punch. Sennyo must have been thinking in the same direction that I was because he ordered his Pokémon to use a physical attack on the Magneton.

“Sara! Use Shadow Sneak!” He commanded before stepping back a bit to stay clear of the battle. Sara’s eyes started to glow. Then, Magneton’s shadow extended and connected with the Shuppet’s shadow. Shuppet dived in her own shadow. We could see her dark silhouette charged towards the Magneton from within the shadow that connected the two.

While Sara was headed towards Magneton, Magneton released the burst of electricity from its attack. Sara hit Magneton just as it released its electric attack. There was a sudden brightness in the room that almost instantly faded away again. I had to cover my eyes to keep the intense light from hurting them.

Sara returned back from her shadow and to her trainer’s side. Magneton slowly floated down and rested on the ground. It was tired and in pain. A dark purple mist slowly floated away from Magneton and disappeared into the air. The curse that Shuppet had cast on it had been lifted.

Magneton floated back up into the air. The three magnets turned at a 90 degree angle and pointed at Sennyo’s Shuppet. In between them, a silver orb started to materialize. Then, with a sudden blast of energy, it released the orb towards the Shuppet. It was using Magnet Bomb. Magnet Bomb was a long-range physical attack. The Pokémon had shot a steel bomb at Shuppet. It would explode on contact.

I Turned around Just as the two Pokémon attacks connected with each other, casing a blinding flash of light. I froze and close my eyes tight, while lifting up my arm, to be used for cover. The bright light vanished as quickly as it had appeared. I still couldn’t open my eyes those I had to wait for them to adjust first. I had no idea what was happening, was Sara ok, what happened to the Magneton, I also wondered if anything had happened to any nearby random Pokémon or the ranger that was guiding me. I did not think any harm had come to him though.

I opened my eyes. Sara floated back out of the shadow. The Discharge attack hadn’t been that strong and while Shuppet was getting tired and seem to be in a bit of pain, not helped by the curse she put on her foe, Sara was no doubt ready to continue battle. The same could not be said for the wild Magneton however. The battle was taking a lot out of him and so had the curse. I notice him float down to the floor as if to rest. A small purple mist left the wild Pokémon body and I instantly realised that Magneton curse has lifted.

It took Magneton a few seconds to be ready to continue battle, but I knew he was not down for the count just yet . I watch Magneton float off the floor and then it seem all three of his eyes start straight at Sara. A second later all of the Magneton six magnets pointed in her general direction.

“She isn’t charging a move this time” I said, not realising I was speaking out loud. One of the Magneton eyes quickly glanced at me and then back to Sara. In that instant a giant silvery steel ball appeared and was aimed at Shuppet, “I know that move, I’ve fought it before.” I had to think of a quick plan, I knew that ball would explode on contact with anything physical. “Sucker Punch!” I shouted. It would be a cheap trick but I realised that I would work.

Shuppet smiled and formed a small little fast speeding fist out of the shadows and aimed it at the Metal sphere. Both launch at the same time. Sara took a step backward. I hope the fist would hit the Magnet bomb near the Magneton rather than Sara.

    vs. Magneton BP6

After determining that Magneton was using Magnet Bomb, Sennyo decided to try and use its own attack against it.

“Sucker Punch!” He shouted to Shuppet. Shuppet smiled and called forth the shadows to create a small fist. She launched the little fist just as Magneton was launching its Magnet Bomb attack. Since Sucker Punch was quicker than most other attacks, the little fist moved much faster than the Magnet Bomb that Magneton had launched. The two attacks made contact while the bomb was still on Magneton’s side of the field. Since Shuppet wasn’t near the blast, she wasn’t hurt much.

The power of the Sucker Punch and Magnet Bomb attacks complimented each other to make a huge power explosion. Magneton got the worse of the attack since it was closer to it. Fortunately for it, and I suppose, for Sennyo also, it had resistance to both attacks, so it wasn’t hurt to the point where it would be knocked out. When the smoke cleared, it was still floating in the air. I could tell, however, by the way that it seized every now and then, that it was approaching its end. If Sennyo wanted to capture this Pokemon, he could have to hurry, or at least, try not do anymore damage to the Pokemon.

Its magnets started to glow white, and it started to spin really fast. Its body was no longer visible, and instead, it looked like a glowing, spiraling tornado. It started to approach Shuppet while still spinning.

I smiled. The sucker punch was successful in making contact on Magneton side of the field, and that was something I knew the Pokémon was not expecting. In full force the entire metal orb exploded send small metal shrapnel everywhere most hitting the Magneton or scattering the field. A few piece hit objects in the room and a few more hit my Shuppet. I notice however that the shrapnel on the floor was too small to really hurt anything, and since both Sara and the Magneton floated, they would not be affected by it.

Once the dust and debris form the last round had settled I scan the battle to see what was going on. I realised the battle had lasted quite a long time now. I chuckle. Something would have normally distracted me by now, and I would have made a vital error. I continued to scan the battle. The room seemed darker at the moment, darker than it had all battle. This made me look toward the Magneton, the only light source in the room. I hadn’t realised how much damage he had suffered until now. Granted that the last attack wasn’t every affective against it due to its resistances, he was in a lot of pain, and I knew that If I attack the Magneton it would most likely faint. I turned to my Shuppet.

“Sara,” I spoke clearly. Sara turned her head to the side to look at both me and the Magneton she was currently battling. “I know you don’t like to hear this but I don’t want you to damage our opponent any more unless it is the only way to defend yourself.” I look at Sara facial expression; she gave me a look to say that she didn’t want to, and that it was not in her nature not to fight without brute power. I kept my cool however and just stared back at her. I notice her sigh and turned to face the Magneton, she didn’t want to disobey me with would try not to damage the Magneton. I smile, and knew when this battle was over; I would treat her wounds and let her have a well deserved rest.

All of my talking and mumbling almost made me miss the Magneton next attack. I had never seen the move he was about to use before. The Magneton magnets started to glow white. The Magneton looked like it would stumble over and faint, with two of it three eyes closed. Then it seems to smile, and spin around. I notice Sara watch and start to feel a little dizzy. But she shook her head and continued to stare at her enemy. The magnet spin grew faster and faster until all I could see was a white glowing tornado. It started to move towards Sara.

“So it can still see you can it?” I questioned, and quickly thought of a plan that wouldn’t hurt my opponent and still keep Sara safe. “Ok, Sara. I want you to attempt to confuse our little friend hear, by using Screech.” Sara nodded, I did not know if she knew my plan or not, I could only hope she would understand. Sara Let out a huge cry that sounded like a cat using its claws to scratch a chalk board. I put my hands over my ear and shouted as the noised still filled the air and my ears. “Now use the shadows to travel behind Magneton and use screech, then use the shadow to return and use screech!” Shuppet nodded as she saw my plan. I knew I could trick it in believing I was in many places at once with the sound of screech, and hopefully he would miss. Sara continued to screech as she when into the shadow and started to become transparent, when she was ready she would stop and travel behind him while the sound still echoed in the room., she would start to screech again behind him making him turn around, and by the she should be back to the beginning and would screech again.

    vs. Magneton BP7

Sennyo ordered his Pokémon not to harm the Magneton anymore. He didn’t want to faint the Pokémon. If Magneton fainted, then it would be impossible to capture. A mechanism in the Park’s Parkballs made it impossible to capture any Pokémon that have been fainted. Shuppet seemed to put up a little fuss, but soon gave in and agreed to her trainer’s wishes.

While the two were talking, they almost forgot about Magneton. It’s funny how you can be talking about something and still manage to forget it. Magneton had taken to spinning around until it looked like a miniature tornado. It glowed as it spun. It was using Gyro Ball, an attack that hurt more depending on how slow the user’s opponent was.

Shuppet and Sennyo used a different tactic to try and counter Magneton’s attacks. Every time Magneton came close to hitting Shuppet with its Gyro Ball attack, Shuppet would dive into the shadows, reappear behind Magneton and use Screech. At one point, Magneton almost ran into Luxray and me. We both jumped in opposite directions to avoid being hit by the attack. Shuppet continued this routine for quite some time until Magneton was fed up. It was doing more damage to itself than it was to Shuppet (who’d actually taken no damage) and not only confused the Pokémon but lowered its attack. The Magnet Pokémon stopped spinning and floated in one space.

Then, the Pokémon let out the most horrible cry. It sounded like someone scraping a chalkboard with a jagged knife. I covered my ears to keep them from bursting. Luxray and Shuppet seemed to be affected the most. They were frozen from the sound. Shuppet, who was in battle, stopped moving.

When Magneton had determined that the attack had worked, it started to glow. It released a medium-sized bolt of electricity at the Shuppet from its body. Was Shuppet too tripped up? Or would it be able to snap out of it in time?

OOC Two things, can i use healing item in battle (like my super potion) and second i relsied i dont really have any other non attack move that dont effect PP or hurt my opponet other that screech. XD

The fact that my confusing tactic was working fascinated me. I had never thought that it would work (while I had complete confidence in Sara, I really thought the Magneton would catch her) and was stunned to find to see the glowing tornado, constantly missing and spinning out of control. I couldn’t help but suppress a huge laugh when I saw Dee and his Luxray jump out of the way from the Magneton as he almost ran into them. I do decide to stand further back from the battlefield at that moment. I realised however I had no real reason too as the Pokémon had decided to give up on the move and stop spinning.

“It must have realised it cannot hurt you Sara, His fight is ours.” I notice a big grin appear on my Shuppet face, a grin that said one word, ‘Victory’. The grin did not last too long though as Magneton unleashed his next attack, by creating a sound that was worse than Sara screech by a mile. The sound rang around the room and seems to stay. The effect it had on Sara (and as far as I could tell Dee’s Luxray,) was indescribable. I had never seen my Shuppet cringed like that and I began to worry.

“Sara!” I shouted to try and get her attention. “Sara! Can you hear me? Snap out of it! Sara!” The expression on her face showed one thing, he could only hear the Metal sound Magneton had produce.

The Magneton had no doubt notice that attack had worked and processed to begin another attack, by charging again. I figured out it was an electrical attack and I knew I had to break Sara trance.I was about to try and issues a command to see if that helped, yet Magneton released his electrical attack.

I panic; I was too far away from Shuppet to push her out of the way and not be hit by the attack myself. I knew if such a thing happened Sara would never forgive herself and I did not want to put any guilt on her. I Also realised I couldn’t switch Sara for my Marowak, Cecil, without Sara never being able to forgive me. She had too much pride to be switch out especially for Cecil, a Pokémon she was jealous of for being my first Pokémon. All I could do was sit back and watch, or make Shuppet really annoyed to snap her out of the trance.

I pick up a small stone that lay on the floor. “This will work,” I muttered to myself. “It has to!”, I turned to Shuppet and chucked the stone at her. I realised the small stone would hit her first and most likely not hurt her I did not know what would happen next.

“Sara Dodge the incoming Attack!” I shouted with all my might.
