(OOC: A good way to add quality and characters to your post is to describe how you want the attack to turn out, like where to strike, how the mon charges up, etc. Also, M or F?)

Ryan decided to fight, but Ivy was a little confused that he just ordered Chandelure to attack. Attack what? Venonat had disappeared behind the wall of trees in the hopes that they would follow it. She really hoped he didn't just plan on burning down the trees. Trainers could get in trouble for excessive damage to the Park, especially if it was on purpose.

“Wait!” she said, holding a hand out to stop him. “Don't cut through the trees. If you want to battle, we can follow it.”

Ivy nodded to Haji and then they took the lead, weaving through the twists and turns of the trees. Eventually they came out into a clearing with just a little bit of foliage. There were scattered twigs of trees here and there, and the floor was covered in leaves. There weren't many bushes or anything to impede movement, and she thought she could see dirt underneath the debris.

Venonat was waiting for them in the middle of the field, swaying back and forth from foot to foot. “Alright,” she said, nodding at the Poison-type, “you can begin now.”

She and Haji stepped back as the ghost went into action. Fire flared from his two arms, and then it shot up into the air, trying to come down on the Venonat like a rain of fire. The bug saw this, and just before a stream of fire was going to hit it, it simply vanished from sight.

It reappeared in a different spot, only to be cornered by another flame. It disappeared before that one struck too, and Ivy realized it was teleporting around the field in order to dodge. It did this until the fire was almost gone. A couple of the spots singed its sides, but it didn't look too hurt from the way it was giggling.

Then, it turned serious for a split second, locking its concentration on Chandelure. A flash of some grayish light blinked, and then Venonat was back to giggling again. When Ivy looked at the candle, he had a strange look on his face. Then Ivy remembered what it was.

“Looks like Chandelure can't use Flame Burst anymore. It's disabled.”

This opponent looked tricky, so Ryan was going to have to get creative to win.

(OOC: Whoa, sorry for the late post, I never saw the notification! Haha. And Female, please.)

Ryan was quite surprised by the Venonat's unique combination of both the moves Teleport and Disable. Clearly this Bug-Poison type was going to be putting up a rigorous fight.

The loss of Flame Burst wasn't too much of a loss. Chandelure had more tricks up its metaphorically burning sleeves. Perhaps if an attack hit the opponent's body in the exact center, it would do more damage. Then Ryan had what he thought was an extravagantly excellent idea.

"Chandelure! Send a barrage of Shadow Balls swirling around the Venonat, and follow up with an Overheat attack! Try to do as much damage as possible without knocking her out!" Ryan said to his ghostly chandelier starter Pokemon.

Chandelure's eyes glowed with an eeriley purple light, and in its flaming arms spawned quite a few ominous blobs of shadowy energy. Chandelure did a twirling spin and released the barrage right in the Venonat's direction, and followed up with charging up its Overheat.

Chandelure gave the Venonat a demonic look, and the flame on its head grew to an enormous size. Afterwards, one by one its arms followed suit. After all all five of its flames were about the size of its entire body, the flames all merged together. With an enormous amount of power and energy, Chandelure threw the colossal ball of fire at the Venonat. Ryan anticipated the loss of its Special Attack.

(OOC: The next thing I'm going to teach you about is not using all your skills or powerful hits right away. The trick is to pace damage a bit unless you're pretty close to meeting MCR. Otherwise, you'll struggle with either knocking the wild out or having the wild deal a lot of damage to you because you have to stall or yabber about odd things because the MCR is short. While not met-MCR captures have been allowed, the capture rate drops dramatically when you're under. There's nothing wrong with hitting hard, but unless you have some sort of plan, it might not be a good idea to do right away, especially since a lot of hard hits tire your mons out.)

Ryan seemed to notice that Venonat wasn't going to be a walk in the Park, but he looked excited from some sort of plan he had. The disabling didn't seem to bother him, and Ivy didn't suppose it would since Chandelure must have a bunch of different Fire-type attacks in his arsenal.

“Chandelure!” he called. “Send a barrage of Shadow Balls swirling around the Venonat and follow up with an Overheat attack! Try to do as much damage as possible without knocking her out!”

Ivy was a bit puzzled by this one. Sure, the point was to not knock a wild out, but Chandelure was already a bit tired from the last battle and using a lot of powerful attacks would just drain his energy. They could injure Venonat, but if it still had a lot of energy to keep it going, it was going to do a lot of damage to them while they tried to keep up.

It was a pretty sight to see though. The chandelier's eyes glowed as it started its attack, and from its fiery arms shadows started to grow until they swirled with dark energy and wisps of silvery light. With an elegant spin, they shot off toward the Venonat and circled around it, waiting for the other part of the attack to come.

Chandelure then began charging up his Overheat, but Ivy noticed Venonat wasn't still. She was focusing on the ground below the candle Pokémon, and if she looked close enough, she saw there were small orbs forming there. Ivy flinched and was about to call out a warning when Chandelure fired off his attack. A bunch of smaller fireballs conglomerated into one huge meteor, and it rocketed toward the Venonat.

Too focused on her own attack, it hit her squarely and hard. She got her attack off at the last second though. Then she was blasted backward. That probably hurt her a lot.

The ground under Chandelure shifted, and the orbs of ground energy popped out of the soil they were resting in and whirled, combining together just like the Fire-type's attack. With a force, they blasted upward, shooting the candle upward and sending him crashing to the ground. Ivy could see clumps of ground sticking to him, and some of it had muted his flames a little. Venonat must be able to control the ground as her hidden power.

The Venonat struggled to get up, but she did, shaking herself off. Then, with a burst of speed, dust kicked up under her feet as she started to dash around. She made loops around the fallen Fire-type, and Ivy could see white strings following her. They wrapped around trees and downed logs, and they were shooting out to wrap around Chandelure too. She thought it was a String Shot, and the bug was using it to prevent the ghost from moving.

The candle was panting now, having been damaged by the attack and also worn out from the previous battle and using strong attacks. At least they had damaged Venonat a bit. Her earlier worry was showing now though, as even though damaged, Venonat seemed to have a lot of energy while Chandelure was catching his breath while recovering.

Venonat made one more track around before zooming off to the other side of the field. Then she scuffed her foot on the ground, sort of like a Tauros did before it charged. Then it shot off, and a blueish energy crackled between his antennas as she lowered her head a bit, aiming straight at the immobilized Chandelure.

It looked like a Zen Headbutt. If Ryan didn't think of something, she was going to hit Chandelure head on.

The approaching Venonat had just taken quite a bit of damage from Chandelure's last attack combination, but it still managed to pull off a Ground Hidden Power attack. Not only that, but the Venonat was now charging up a Zen Headbutt, and heading right for Chandelure. Once again, it looked quite dim. Chandelure could possibly take quite a lot of damage. His Special Attack was down from Overheat, he was slowed by String Shot, and his Flame Burst attack was still rendered useless from the earlier Disable technique.

But none the less, Ryan had a plan.

"Alright Chandelure, this isn't looking too great, but I think you can pull through this if you just use that one particular move," Ryan coached. Chandelure gave Ryan an unsure look, as he had literally never used the move before. But it was still doable. "Use your Minimize technique!" Ryan told Chandelure.

Minimize is a technique that sharply raises the evasion of the Pokemon who is using it. Basically, the Pokemon would decrease its body size so much that it would avoid many attacks. Ryan hoped that by doing this, the Venonat's Zen Headbutt attack would miss the target Chandelure and leave itself wide open for attack.

"Afterwards, Chandelure, hit it with Hex, at moderate power. After all, it doesn't have a status condition, so it won't do too much damage," Ryan explained to Chandelure.

Like Ryan had just said, Hex is a Ghost type move that many Ghost type Pokemon can learn, including Chandelure's evolutionary lineage. It is normally pretty weak, doing about 50 damage at base power. However, if the opponent has a status condition, such as a burn, poisoning, paralysis, or is asleep or frozen, the attack power is doubled, for reasons not currently known. Maybe it has to do with the supernatural ghostly powers of the move. Ryan's plan was to have the attack hit the antennas where the Zen Headbutt was charging up.

"Chandelure, try to make your Hex attack hit her in the antennas!" Ryan told Chandelure.

As the Venonat charged right for Chandelure, Ryan hoped that his recently concocted plan would see through until its end...

It was looking tougher for Ryan and his Pokémon, but he managed to come up with a plan that would hopefully help them. Then he spoke.

“Alright Chandelure, this isn't look too great, but I think you can pull through this is you just use that one particular move. Use your Minimize technique!”

Chandelure looked a little hesitant, like he hadn't had a lot of practice with the skill. Ryan seemed positive that the Pokémon could do it though, so in order to please his Trainer, the candle was going to try. It reminded her of her own brave little Litwick. As long as she knew they believed in her, she didn't back away from anything.

Next Ryan told his Chandelure to attack Venonat with a Hex attack at low strength, aiming right for the antennas. She fought back the urge to exclaim excitedly. Hex was an interesting attack. It worked particularly well when a foe was suffering from a status ailment because it amplified that feeling, doing a ton of damage. It didn't work so well with a status since then the Hex had to create the feeling out of nothing, but it was still possible. Since it was aiming for the antennas, where Venonat took in a lot of senses, it should work easily.

She continued charging at the ghost, and he waited for the exact moment before starting his skill. The String Shot was wrapped tight, but that wasn't going to matter. He waited until she was a few feet away before executing, and then Ivy watched his body shrink as he became about as big as a Pokéball. The white vines that had been holding him slipped away, no longer tight around his limbs.

Venonat sailed right through the spot where he had been as Chandelure floated to the side, and the bug tripped through all of the strings still remaining. Stunned for a moment, Chandelure took the opportunity to attack. A ghastly mist rose from him as he returned to normal size, and it floated over to the Venonat, sticking to her antennas.

She cried out as her senses were messed with, and in her rage, a powerful Whirlwind whipped up. It cleared away the strings and made it hard to see. Ivy had to cover her eyes with a sleeve as she held her coat out to cover Haji with. Sticks and small rocks flew everywhere, and she tried to ignore the sting as they hit open skin.

When the winds died down, they were looking at a very different battlefield. Venonat was as far away as she could get, and dotting the field were pools of bubbling purple fluid. She recognized what it was; puddles of Sludge Bomb. Upon closer inspection, she saw the spots dotted with yellow spore-like things.

“Look out!” she called quickly. “Those are pools of Sludge Bomb, and she's coated them with Stun Spores. If one of your Pokémon falls into them he's going to be in trouble!” Filled with so many status-inducing chemicals, Chandelure was sure to pick up one if he touched those spots, as well as take some damage as the poison tried to eat through him. They had to keep wearing the Venonat down without doing the same to themselves. He had been a little hurt by the wind, but he looked mostly okay for this round. It seemed that the longer they fought, the harder she tried.

Then, the wind in front of the bug started to swirl, and light gleamed as sharp edges appeared then disappeared into the gust. The liquid bubbled a little at the disruption of the wind currents, and small sticks and stones were being picked up.

“Careful! She's kicking up a Razor Wind!”

Something like that would stir up all the chemicals. He had to stop her. Ivy ducked down to a knee, readying her coat to protect Haji from any of it. She couldn't help the Trainer's Pokémon no matter how much she wanted to.

Venonat had used quite a flurry of unique attacks, especially the aformentioned Sludge Bomb and Stun Spore combination. Right now, it was charging up a powerful Razor Wind attack. Ryan had nothing to fear for Chandelure, though, as he found a loophole of sorts.

"Chandelure! Don't worry about the Razor Wind. It's a Normal-type move, and you're a Ghost and Fire Type. Normal type techniques have no effect on Ghost types. Now, due to the Sludge Bomb-Stun Spore pools, we should probably attack it at long range. To start off, use Confuse Ray!" Ryan yelled as he explained his plan to Chandelure.

Confuse Ray was an interesting move that involved the Pokemon using it sending out two odd orbs in a spinning fashion, and if they managed to hit the opponent, the opponent would become instantly confused. That is, unless it had an ability that prevented it. However, Venonat had no such ability.

"Afterwards, Chandelure, try your Astonish attack! I realize that it's a physical move, and you mainly rely on Special Attacks, but it's one of your only long-range attacking options. Just try it out, okay?" Ryan explained to the puzzled Chandelure.

Ryan never knew exactly why Astonish was a physical attack. The move involved the Pokemon using the move letting out an ear-piercing shriek and making a scary face. If the user moved before hand, the move had about a thirty percent chance of causing the target opponent to flinch, and be unable to attack that turn. Of course, that is provided that the opponent is not a Normal type, as a Ghost type move would then have no effect, or have an ability that prevented flinching, such as Inner Focus. Once again, none of this held true for the opposing opponent Venonat.

Once again, Ryan couldn't afford for his plan to fail, so he sincerely hoped for the best...

(OOC: The thing about the Park is that it doesn't really stick to the games exactly. Type immunities and resistances and stuff can be ignored, and moves that say they always hit won't necessarily always hit. Ground moves can hit flyers when they're low enough to the ground or if the ground's shot up, Aura Sphere can be shot way off course, etc. The safe thing is never to assume anything. Also it wouldn't hurt to look at the Park Pedia because some moves and abilities work differently in the Park. Like Astonish isn't a Physical attack at all. Moves are more like how they'd make sense in real life.)

    ---

Ivy didn't like the look of the field one bit. She stayed with one knee on the ground, not having much else to do. She felt Haji's energy stir and knew he'd be able to put up a protective shield around them if things turned worse. She asked him to do the same for Ryan, since it was their job to keep the Trainer safe. She couldn't help his Pokémon though.

“Chandelure! Don't worry about the Razor Wind. It's a Normal-type move, and you're a Ghost and Fire-type. Normal-type techniques have no effect on Ghost-types,” Ryan yelled, then telling his Pokémon to use a Confuse Ray.

Ivy frowned. While it was true that some ghosts could avoid attacks by phasing through them, that didn't just happen automatically. It was sort of a learned trait. Furthermore, Venonat was controlling the wind. Sure, she could use it to move Chandelure into the pools, but why struggle with that when it was just easier to move the chemical instead?

The Venonat was concentrating on her wind when Ryan called out for Chandelure to use an Astonish as well, maybe in an attempt to have the Confuse Ray hit better, since it was designed to startle a Pokémon by morphing their facial features to scare the target.

Ivy saw the purple pools buckle and pop, and then the ground beneath them heaved as the chemical shot up into the air. She was using that Hidden Power to control the earth again. Then, the wind picked up, and Ivy gave her signal for Haji to act. An almost-invisible shield slid in front of them and Ryan as well, tinted with a dash of purple, which was the Espeon's personal touch. Chemical splatted the screen right in front of her face, and Ivy breathed a sigh of relief at the cat being able to act so fast.

Chandelure shot off his Confuse Ray then, two orbs from his arms that were a bit hazy. They traveled in lazy loops toward the target. It was followed up by the Astonish. He morphed his face into something he thought was surprising enough and called out suddenly and loudly, but the noise was lost in the whipping winds. Ivy held her hair down as the air caused it to fly about.

Venonat wasn't watching. She was too focused on her attack. Chemical flew up on her winds, whirling around the field and splashing tree trunks and the canopy above. She saw one of the dizzy-spinning orbs get blasted away by a pocket of poison, fading away into nothing. The other one touched her shoulder, and the Venonat blinked a little, but the wind didn't stop. The Confusion probably wouldn't last long, if she was even affected at all. Sometimes a Pokémon could break through it. It was never a sure thing. Ivy wasn't sure about his choice of relying on a little luck and surprise to stop the dangerous attack of the bug.

A puddle of chemical then went wild, and Ivy winced as it hit Chandelure across the front. The poison sizzled as he tried to shake himself off, and the Ranger saw the tiny spores seep into his limbs and between his joints.

The wind finally died, and Ivy saw that although Venonat was looking a little lost, there was still a spark of intelligence in those eyes. She was sure of it now; the confusion wasn't going to last long.

She was more worried about Chandelure. He didn't look poisoned, but those spores had worked their way into his body and were probably going to affect his movement a bit. The wind was blowing them around so much that who knows how many places they got into. Still, he was lucky the poison didn't stick to him instead, or even both of the statuses.

Ryan was going to have to really careful now. Venonat wasn't really worn out yet.

Ryan looked at Chandelure as it tried desperately to shake off the spores to no avail.

"Well, that didn't work like I thought it would at all..." Ryan muttered.

"Chandelure, get back to your Poke Ball! You deserve a nice and quiet rest. You know what this means. Come on out, Qwilfish!" Ryan announced.

Ryan took out Chandelure's Ball and aied at him. Chandelure's body turned mahogany crimson red and disappeared into a faint light that got sucked back into the Poke Ball.

Afterwards, Ryan took out Qwilfish's Poke Ball and threw it onto the field, carfully avoiding any remaining Toxic Spore pools. When the Poke Ball hit the ground, it opened, letting out a dazzling scarlet light which later revealed the spiky Balloon Pokemon, Qwilfish.

"Here's what I want you to do, Qwilfish. It's kinda complicated, though, but I think you can handle it buddy." Ryan coached.

"I want you to jump as high into the air as you can, and come down with an Aqua Tail attack. But, right before it hits Venonat, use Minimize mid-move. If my plan goes well, The torrent of water released from the Aqua Tail will remain the same size, but you'll shrink, raising your evasiveness. Think you can do it, Qwilfish?" Ryan asked after the thorough explanation.

"Qwilfish. Qwil Qwil," Qwilfish said, shaking his head "yes."

Aqua Tail itself was an interesting move. The user would charge up some sort of water energy, and cloak its tail in water. Usually, it is easier if there's a body of water around, but it could be done without. After the tail is cloaked in a veil of water, the user smacks its tail on the opponent to cause quite a bit of damage. Qwilfish's high Attack stat would come in handy here.

"Be sure to aim for right between its eyes, Qwilfish!" Ryan said as a final piece of advice...

Ryan muttered something and then called back is Pokémon, zapping the Chandelure up in a beam of red light. He put that Pokéball away and then exchanged it for another one, throwing it out to let his blue and tan spiky try to finish this one. The Qwilfish looked ready to battle after its short rest despite some of the damage it had taken. Hopefully this would be a better match up since the fish could resist a lot of the poison techniques Venonat was using.

The Trainer then told his Pokémon he wanted to try a complicated attack, but Ivy saw the small puffer fish listening closely. “I want you to jump as high into the air as you can and come down with an Aqua Tail attack. But, right before it hits Venonat, use Minimize mid-move,” Ryan told him, motioning with his hands.

The Ranger saw what he was trying to do here, though she wasn't sure how well it would work. While the user used its tail to conjure the water, the force it struck with was also helped out by the swinging of the limb. He might avoid getting hit some, but he might not damage the bug much. Then again, maybe that was the point at this stage.

“Be sure to aim right between its eyes, Qwilfish,” he added, and then the fish went to follow orders.

It took in a big breath before moving, still a little tired from before. With all the energy he could muster, he sprung up in the air, using his tail to help him lift from the ground. While up in the air, water surrounded his tail, and when he started to fall, the water rushed with him.

Venonat locked onto him with his big eyes, not moving but preparing something. Then, Qwilfish came down, and just like Ryan said, he shrunk himself just before striking. The water didn't move as hard after that, and it came down more like a heavy rain than an attacking wave.

She saw Qwilfish bounce off of the space between Venonat's eyes like some cartoon and fought not to laugh. There wasn't much time though, because Venonat's antennas twitched, and then a purplish wave shoved out from it. She recognized it as a Psywave, something used to lock onto mental energy and strike. It probably helped clear her mind too.

Qwilfish was no exception. He got caught in the wave and popped back to normal size as he was thrown across the field, dragging through the poison pools. She couldn't tell if he'd been affected or not yet.

Then, those pools began to jump as Venonat focused again, and she could see the liquid shaking on the surface of the puddles. It was like water that was just about to boil. Any little contact would make it burst.

All of the Sludge Bomb spots were shaking, and Ivy realized that Venonat was going to try and make them all lash out at once.

    “Watch out, Ryan!”

"Well, that last attack didn't go as well as expected, huh, Qwilfish?" Ryan said.

Once again, Ryan was preparing an idea.

"This just in. I have an idea, Qwilfish. And even more surprisingly, this one has a high chance of working sucessfully. Here's what I want you to do: first, you need to use Rain Dance," Ryan explained.

Rain Dance was one of several weather changing moves. The user does a spiritual sort of dance that causes rain to fall from the sky. This powers up Water-type moves, weakens Fire-type moves, make moves such as Hurricane and Thunder one hundred percent accurate, and most importantly, make Qwilfish much faster due to its ability: Swift Swim.

"We're going to then throw you up in the air again, Qwilfish, and come down with a powerful Aqua Tail. At the speed you'll go because of the rain, it should cause more damage. You ready, Qwilfish?" Ryan said.

"Qwilfish," Qwilfish said, signifying a yes.

“Just try to hit it in the head, buddy. Make it a direct hit,” Ryan said in order to clarify the plan..

Ryan threw Qwilfish up in the air, once again using the tail to avoid the spikes, and readied a Park Ball to throw after the hit connected...

(OOC: Yes, I'm trying to catch the Venonat in this post, to clear things up.)

    Ranger Ivy Frost

    ---

Ryan didn't seem to notice the Venonat starting up an attack, instead going for a plan of his own. He called out for the fish to first use Rain Dance, probably with the theory that it would let Qwilfish move a little better and maybe strengthen some of his water attacks if he used more.

Then he told the Qwilfish he was going to throw him up into the air again and for him to use Aqua Tail on the way down. Ivy wasn't sure what to make of his plans. Sure, it was good to use techniques you knew how to, but using the same ones many times in a row would increase the chance of the wild Pokémon catching on to what they were doing. Then it could form some sort of counter attack.

The Qwilfish hopped back and forth and flopped his tail up and down as he tried to call the rain. It took a minute, which made the Ranger nervous about the still-jumping pools of poison, but eventually water started to drip from the sky. It came down a little harder then, in a steady pattering that dotted the ground dark. The poison pools quieted a little as far as the popping went, but she could still see pockets being churned by some force beneath them, almost like there was an electric current or something making them jump.

Ryan picked up his fish carefully and threw him up into the air again, still being careful to avoid the poison points. Then Ivy watched him pull out a Park Ball and prepare to throw it. He was going to try and capture the little bug after all.

The fish sailed up into the air, and Ivy saw the water form around his tail again. He came back down due to gravity and the rules of flight, and the water rushed with him. Venonat shook her head, looking less groggy than she had before. The rain probably helped clear her mind a little more after the psychic purge. She was looking at the pools of poison around her, not paying much attention to Qwilfish.

Right before she was hit, the pools jumped like they'd be electrocuted from the other end. They splashed toward Venonat with a large force, probably to get through the rain that was washing them away. Qwilfish came down hard, aided by the rain and because he didn't shrink this time. He bounced off Venonat, going back toward Ryan.

Venonat stumbled and fell down to the ground, breathing hard. Ivy didn't know how much more she could take. If Ryan didn't capture soon, she was going to be in danger of being knocked out.

Luckily, the Trainer threw his ball. Venonat was too weak to respond to it, so it snapped shut and locked with a ping.

Slowly the rain stopped, and Ivy was glad to see it washing most of the chemicals away. She'd check back here when this run was over just to be sure, but the rest would probably just soak into the ground and not harm anyone or anything. She went over to the downed ball and picked it up, pocketing it with Mankey.

“Alright,” she said, looking at Ryan. “Where to next? There's a path out of here, leading into more bamboo-like paths-” she said, pointing to the other side of the small clearing, “-or we can head back the way we came and continue down one of those paths.” Then she waited for his answer.

Ryan was glad that he had successfully captured the Venonat. He really wanted the little bugger. He really wished that his Pokemon were in better shape, though. Ryan was also excited that Mankey was captured beforehand. Both would make great additions to his team. If he could only catcha Dwebble, he'd be set. However, his Pokemon looked very tired, and he wasn't sure how much more they could take. He valued their friendship, and wouldn't want them to faint.

"If at all possible, I'd like to end my run early. My Pokemon can't really take much more action, and I'm content with the two that I caught. Thanks for a great run, Ivy!" Ryan said, as he prepared for departure.

    Ranger Ivy Frost

    ---

Ryan's Pokémon were pretty tired after their battles, and he seemed to notice this, saying that he'd like to leave the Park early. This happened all the time, so it didn't phase her. She thought he did very well for his first time to the Park, and she hoped that he'd come back again soon.

He thanked her, and she smiled back at him. “Alright, if you're all set, we can head back to the Main Outpost.”

With a nod at Haji, he teleported them in a shimmer of energy. It was really more convenient than walking all the way back when he wanted to get going. The air became clearer, and when the strange pulling sensation stopped, she found them in front of the Outpost.

She led Ryan inside and had him fill out the end paperwork while she healed up his new captures and registered them with his Trainer code. When everything was settled, she handed him his prizes and waved to him as he departed, hopefully satisfied with the trip.

With a sigh, she and Haji trudged back to her office. She knew there was paperwork to be doing, but she didn't really feel like completing it. Instead, she caught a glimpse of Buzz's office door open, and with a grin to Haji, they ran off to see what kind of trouble they could give the other Ranger while he was away. Not a bad day after all.
