    vs. Sneasel BP5

Breloom sat there frozen, unable to move a muscle. I kind of felt sorry for the Pokémon and even considered tossing him an Ice Heal. However, in the end, I decided not to interfere with the trainer’s battle. It was his fight, and I was very confident that he would be able to handle things on his own.

Near unclipped the Pokeball that had previously held Breloom from his belt. After clicking the button on the Pokeball, Breloom was recalled to his Pokeball and given a break from the battle that had managed to get the best of him. It was a wise decision on Near’s part, one that would most likely prove to be the right decision. I wondered which Pokémon he would decide to use next. All of his Pokémon were pretty rare and useful, so it would be interesting to see what his next strategy would be.

After a bit of thought, Near unclipped a Pokémon from his belt and threw it forward. After the bright white light that was emitted from the Pokémon had receded, it became clear that Near’s next choice was Jolteon. The Pokémon’s fur sparkled and flashed as he shook small sparks of electricity from his fur.

"Jolteon, try and use Rock Smash against the cave wall to cause rocks to fall on Sneasel, and while Sneasel's distracted use Thunder Wave!"

It was a good strategy. The rocks on the ground would fall on Sneasel, trapping him. Then, Jolteon would release a wave of electricity that would not hurt Sneasel, but would rather render him incapable of moving. Now, all that was left was to actually pull the attack off.

Jolteon, at his amazing speed, started to run up the side of the wall. It was like the video game character that ran so fast that he could run through loops without falling. After managing to get to the ceiling of the cave, Jolteon smashed his paws into the wall with tremendous force.

Rocks began to fall from the ceiling, along with a few sharp stalactites. Luckily, Sneasel was sable to dodge the stalactites that fell to the ground. He began to jump from stone to stone as they fell in an effort to reach the Jolteon who was amazingly still on the ceiling. However, he was done in by a large chuck of limestone that fell from the cave ceiling and landed on top of him.

Immediately, Jolteon let go of the ceiling, and as he fell down, blue-yellow sparks of electricity started to emanate from his body. The sparks formed a cave that spread further from his body like radio waves from a tower. When the wave of electricity had managed to make contact with Sneasel, Jolteon stopped generating the electricity.

Sneasel slowly got up, lifting the limestone up as he rose. Then, with all of his might, he chucked the large mineral slab in Jolteon’s direction with the intent to do the same to him as Jolteon had done earlier.

"Good job Jolteon!" I shouted, I made a mental note to reward Jolteon with something nice later, for it's job well done. Everything had worked exactly as planned, and now with Sneasel being semi-immobile, I would have a chance to help Breloom, so that it could be used to it's full potential again.

I always wanted to do more damage to Sneasel. Because the more I damaged it, the easier it would be to catch. I looked over Jolteon's moves, and found one that was a Fighting type move. 'Perfect,' I thought, I knew that Sneasel was very weak to Fighting, so hopefully it would do a decent amount of damage. I remember my mentor telling me that ice was weak to fighting and that dark was also weak to fighting, so Sneasel's Dark/Ice combination, wouldn't stand a chance against my Jolteon's fighting type move, if it were to get hit.

That's when I remembered the piece of rock that Sneasel had sent in Jolteon's direction. I was going to need to think fast, as Jolteon was about to be hit. If it were to get hit then I would be gravely damaged, and that wouldn't be good. Once again I was going to need to use Jolteon's speed to it's advantage. I quickly thought up a plan, then quickly relayed it to Jolteon.

"Use Quick Attack, then well you're running out of the boulders way use Heal Bell, and finish off by striking Sneasel with Double Kick!" I commanded of Jolteon.

I really hoped that Jolteon would be able to dodge the boulder, because, if it were to use Heal Bell, I would get to hear the most amazing sound in the world and apart from that, my Breloom would be cured of it's status problem. Heal Bell sounds so beautiful, like a soft melody. I've only heard Jolteon use it once, hopefully this would be my chance, to hear it a second time.

I watched Jolteon start moving, questions jumped to my mind:
Would Jolteon dodge the boulder? Would Jolteon cure Breloom with? Would Jolteon manage to hit Sneasel with Double Kick?

"Use Quick Attack, then well you're running out of the boulders way use Heal Bell, and finish off by striking Sneasel with Double Kick!"

Near quickly called out to Jolteon in respond to the incoming slab of limestone. I was a bit impressed that the trainer would attempt such a long combination attack. Most combination attacks that I saw trainers use were only two attacks mixed together; however, Near was attempting to pull off a 3-attack combination. It would be awesome to see the attack successfully hit.

Jolteon was instantly out of the way of the attack. It was almost as if he had teleported. A white trail of light was left in his place. Then, the Pokémon started to glow as he radiated with cool colors. Shades of blue, green, and yellow emanated from the Pokémon.

After a bit of time, I could hear a sound. It was a calm, soothing sound that started off faint and grew stronger. My whole body was relaxed. Something near Near caught my eye, and after looking in the direction of the trainer, I realized that the Pokeball containing Breloom was glowing as greenish color. It must have been Heal Bell healing the frozen Pokémon within.

Meanwhile, Sneasel struggled up to his feet. His body felt sluggish and heavy, but nonetheless, he managed to pull himself together. Sneasel eyed Jolteon who was charging at him, ready to pull off the final piece of his combination attack. After collecting his wits about him, Sneasel also lunged his body towards Jolteon.

The two Pokémon were headed straight for each other. Jolteon turned his body to ready him to kick Sneasel. Sneasel rushed towards Jolteon and also moved his body into a kicking position. When the two Pokémon were finally within reach of each other, turned around and kicked his hind legs forward. Sneasel, meanwhile, ducked, dodging the attack, and swept his leg forward in an attempted to make a hit. The Pokémon was successful in landing a hit on Jolteon, but not before also taking damage from Jolteon’s second kick.

Sneasel was knocked straight back into a cavern wall, while Jolteon lose his footing and fell to the ground on his belly.

Sneasel seemed much weaker then it had been at the start of the battle. This was my chance to capture it! I looked into my nap-sack, I had Parkballs Super Balls and Hyper Balls. I knew that I wanted Sneasel really badly, so I grabbed my very best ball, a Hyper Ball.

To increase my chances of capturing it I sprayed some Soothing Fragrance Super, now Sneasel might not try as hard to escape my Ball.

I thought that I might be able to get one last attack in before throwing the Hyper Ball at it. I wanted a move that Jolteon could use quickly. That wasn't to strong as to kill the Sneasel either. Maybe the fragrance would make Sneasel less expecting of the attack, and give Jolteon a better chance at hitting it.

"Jolteon use thundershock!" I screamed out.

The minute Jolteon started pulsating with electricity, I through my Hyper Ball at Sneasel, hoping to hit it right after Thundershock hit.

OOC: I used my soothing fragrance plus for -1.8k characters, and a hyper ball.

    vs. Sneasel BP7

Sneasel was now on his last leg. He wouldn’t be too hard to capture. At least, that’s what I was thinking. I wasn’t quite sure what Near’s plans were. It would most definitely be possible to capture Sneasel by now. However, there was also the possibility to weaken Sneasel just a little bit more.
Near began to rummage through his bag, which caused me to assume that he was going to attempt to capture Sneasel now. He pulled out the yellow Pokeball with black stripes, also known as a Hyperball, the best Pokeball that you could buy. He must have been trying to cover every obstacle that could possibly allow Sneasel to break free.
He clicked the button on the Pokeball that made it grow larger, however, he also commanded Jolteon to use Thundershock. Jolteon nodded and started to charge up electricity within his fur. His fur crackled as he collected the electricity. Then, in a sudden burst, he released all of the electricity that he’d managed to collect.
Sneasel attempted to jump out of the way, but was immobilized by the paralysis that he’d suffered earlier. He’s pushed himself too far and was now suffering the consequences. The Thundershock hit him dead on from above, causing even more damage to the Pokémon’s health.
After spraying some Soothing Fragrance Super into the air, Near threw the Hyperball towards Sneasel. The Pokeball emitted a bright red wave of light that engulfed Sneasel and sucked him within. The ball fell to the ground and bounced a bit before settling down. It pulsed and twitched as Sneasel struggled to get out.
After a few minutes, the Pokeball stopped pulsing. It rested on the ground, motionless as a deep tone echoed out of it, signaling that the capture was successfully. I quickly walked over to the Pokeball and picked it up. Then, I walked back over to Near and handed him the Pokeball.
“Congratulations on your first capture,” I said as I handed the Pokeball to him.

"Oh my god like what the fuck I just caught like the coolest Pokemon ever!!!" I exclaimed. I had finally captured Sneasel. I didn't want to be greedy, but I couldn't help it, I wanted to capture even more Pokemon. I thought about what I wanted. Finally I decided on Riolu, it was definitely cute enough, and Lucario was one of the strongest Pokemon out there, with it's amazing legendary-like aura.

We moved on in the cave, I knew that Riolu liked to live slightly deep inside. When I thought I was deep enough I pulled out my Disc Player and stuck the Riolu disc inside. It made a weird noise, clearly that of a Riolu, I waited to see if a Riolu would show up, or if I would have to move deeper into the cave.

Near jumped into the air as he shouted out in joy. I couldn’t help but smile a bit as the kid celebrated his first capture in the National Park. After watching him jump up and down for a bit, got pretty bored and tried to move things along.

“So, if you’ve got everything together,” I started. “Then, shall we move on?”

The trainer nodded and followed me as we walked deeper into the dark cave. I ordered Luxray to use Flash once again. It was amazing to see what the forest actually looked like. There were a group of Zubat and Golbat hanging upside down on the cave’s ceiling. They seemed peaceful right now, but I knew that come nighttime, they would turn into horrible little vampiric Pokémon that fed on blood. I shuddered at the thought of a giant Golbat hanging on my shoulders, sucking my blood dry.

Near started to rummage in his backpack for something. Then, he pulled out the Disc Player that he’d used earlier to attract Sneasel. He put in a disc with a picture of a Riolu on it, and then pressed play. I listened as the sound of a Riolu echoed throughout the cave. The sounds echoed as the waves bounced off each wall and onto another.

After a bit of time, the sound faded and we were greeted by pure silence. It was almost too silent, so to speak. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the sound of a Riolu came back towards us. It echoed and filled the cave with a sort of spooky atmosphere. Then, a Riolu came rushing towards us with its hands drawn back.

“Well,” I said. “There’s your Riolu.”

And just like that, after finishing one battle, another battle was about to get started.

Riolu reminded me of a fox. It has a snout, kind-of at least, and it just has that fox like body. It's like a blueberry fox, since like, it's blue. Also, we all know, you are what you eat, so clearly this Riolu eats way to many blueberries. Man I like blueberries. They taste really good. I wonder what roasted Riolu tasted like, I'll be sure to try it someday. I'd also like to try Cherubi, it looks like a complete cherry, therefore, must taste like a cherry. "Is eating Pokemon even legal?" I thought to myself. I don't ever remember hearing a law about it. But like, common sense is common sense. If everyone went around eating Pokemon, there wouldn't be any for me to capture then enslave! They're very important to my mining company, because without them what am I suppose to do? Pay people? Like that's going to happen. Seriously though, some Pokemon are just way to cute to even consider eating, and some, just way to awesome. The only one I know that's cute, and awesome, is Smeargle, like I'd do so many inappropriate things to that thing, if it were legal age. Unfortunately for me, Smeargle's only live to be seventeen years old. What a shame. One day, I'll make a potion that let's them live a year longer. Oh joy, the fun I will have after I manage that. For now I'll have to stick with my Smeargle sock puppet. I have lot's a sock puppets of Pokemon, they include, Smeargle, Pichu, Jigglypuff, Jolteon, Eevee, Wailmer, and some more, I don't really feel like naming them all, but pretty much any you'd consider as cute and fuckable. I'm slightly afraid an actual Wailmer would crush me, but I'm sure I could find a way. Just like how I found a way to get that one evil little apple that was at the very top of the tree. Oh my god though, that apple tasted amazing, and the fact that I had to work for it, made it that much better. Just like how I'm going to have to work really hard for Riolu, so getting Riolu will feel that much better. I'd never even thought I'd be able to see a Riolu in battle before, and now, I actually have a chance to catch one! It's one of the happiest days of my life. Wow, my life is pathetic, especially if this is the happiest one. Damn, I've gone and made myself depressed, well, time to decide on a Pokemon to use.

I guess it was Smeargle's time to shine, or as I like to call him, Mr. Painter. I thought Smeargle looked pretty cool, mostly because of his tail. He's pretty plain, simple beige, with a spot of green on his tail, but I think he would make a great pet, which really is what Pokemon are, fun pets that you force to battle each other. Just like chickens. Smeargle is pretty useless but, he can do some really cool stuff, since he's a complete copycat and can copycat virtually any move at all, which makes him very viable. I got my Smeargle to learn ten moves from copying my other Pokemon, my favorite out of them is Spore, since, it makes Pokemon go to sleep, and pretty much useless, therefore easy to battle, and possibly capture.

Smeargle was used to get my other Pokemon strengthened up, it had the ability to boost it's strength, and then pass it onto a different Pokemon, which I thought was very cool. Once I won a battle, because Smeargle made one of my other Pokemon so strong, that it was able to kill everything it faced, in a single hit.

Since Smeargle was one of my favorite Pokemon I treated it almost like a person, I even dyed a patch of hair gold, to show how precious I thought it was, it also made it unique, which was really awesome. I like when my Pokemon are different, because then people will notice them, and all Pokemon like attention, even ones that are really shy, they just don't like asking for it. I even feed Smeargle homemade food, I don't want it eating anything bought from shops, because then it would probaly end up eating parts of another Smeargle, who knows what they put in those food bags. They didn't even taste good, I would know, after I tried the food, I never gave Smeargle any ever again, it was absolutely disgusting. I'd have considered letting Smeargle eat it, if it had actually tasted good, but it was just awful, like actually so awful. It tasted worse then Eevee piss, not saying I've tried that or anything. Okay, I have, what's it to you, everyone should try this kinds of things at least once in there lifetime, if not twice, or thrice even. Some people just don't understand, but I know, it's important to try everything at least once, because something can seem gross, but actually be, very good, or very fun, or very anything positive at all.

Smeargle used to be shy, but it has gotten over that, and now, it's shake tail's with nearly anyone, something I taught it to do awhile back. I always showing it how to paint, most of it's paintings I hung up in my bedroom, but some I sold, and I have gotten well over 1000 Pokedollars from selling them. That's why my Smeargle is so amazing, and definitely something all collectors would want. It once painted a picture of a Hippopotas, it was so fat, that whenever I looked at it, I couldn't help but laugh. My favorite one was of Lopunny, I don't know what Smeargle was thinking when he painted it, but it definitely needed at least a bit more fur, if you catch my drift. I remember taking it into the bathroom with me all the time, of course, this was before the internet was invented. It also did a self portrait, it was so colorful, I put it in my bedroom, facing the wall to my bed, so it would be watching me well I sleep, that way it would be like having Smeargle with me at all times. I once let Smeargle sleep in my bed with me, that didn't go over to well, I know from experience, that Smeargle shit, never comes out.

The Riolu looked pretty young, I noticed that it was quite nervous when it saw me, and it didn't look very experienced, maybe it would prove me wrong. I just knew, that whether or not it was strong or not, I wanted to capture it, hopefully it wouldn't put up to much of a struggle. It also looked kind of eager to prove itself, a bit to eager if you ask me. Like it had some sort of evil, secret motive. I got worried for a bit, that Riolu was secretly going to try and poison my precious Smeargle, but I then I realized that Riolu wasn't able to do such a thing, and I calmed down a bit, thank god for my trusty Pokedex, telling me it cannot learn Toxic or any other moves that could potentially poison my precious Smeargle.

"Go Smeargle" I said, as I through a Pokeball out of my belt, Smeargle appeared, it looked eager to battle the Riolu that stood before it. I decided that I would want to use my favorite of Smeargle's moves, Spore. It was pretty cheap to be honest, but everything's fair in love, war, and most of all, Pokemon. I winked at Smeargle, I had trained Smeargle so well, that it knew which moves to do just by certain slight motions.

Smeargle got ready to send spores from it's tail, it swirled it's tail and spores went flying above the spot where Riolu was, ready to fall onto her. I noticed it was a girl, because, like all girls, it was trying way to hard to get attention, like, if you spin around once, that's okay, but if you're going to do all these crazy flips, you're definitely a attention seeking girl, no guy would do something that outrageous and illogical. Maybe that's why so many girls are sluts, and pretty much, guys are never sluts, ever. Riolu wasn't really slutty, more of an attention-whore then a slut, if anything, but definitely, and I mean definitely, a girl. I would bet my entire life-savings on that, that's right, I'd bet an entire twelve dollars and forty-three cents. I had to try my very best to stop from shouting out offensive things at Riolu and scaring it away.

I felt sorry for Riolu, because as I said, it looked young, and therefore, it was most likely completely innocent. I didn't enjoy hurting other things, but I had to if I wanted to catch it. I wish that Pokemon would just decide to come along with you, if you're nice to them, unfortunately that wasn't the case, I don't know why, but Pokemon seem to be very proud, and will always fight as long as they possibly can.

I'm sure many Pokemon have died because of this trait, and hopefully they will evolve out of it, but for now, it's something that I will have to live with, just like every other trainer. That kind of sucks, since like, if they're gonna' put up this huge fight, then I can't be lazy about it, and that means, I have to do way more work. Like honestly, who likes working, it's just something not enjoyable. Spending the money on booze and boobs afterward, is very much worth it. It's weird that my two favorite things in the entire Poke universe start with a "B". Well, at least after "S". Hopefully Riolu will be one of the easier ones, because working for something, just isn't fun, which is why everyone loves a slut.

The spores were enclosing on Riolu, and I waited to see if it would dodge them, or if it wouldn't bother, since it probably had never seen this attack before, and wouldn't know if they were harmful at all, since the spores looked quite nice. I made a promise, that if spore managed to hit Sneasel, I'd donate my entire life savings, of twelve dollars and forty-three cents, to a charity, nearby. If that wasn't enough motive, for god to do my a favor, I don't know what was. Who else, in there right minds, would donate that much money, to charity. I'd probably pick a charity that involved curing aids, since then I could have sex, without having to worry about the side effects! Damn side effects, you just gotta' hate them.

I really hoped that it would fall asleep, since then, I'd be able to make another Pokemon very strong, using Smeargle's amazing abilities. I don't know whether I would boost someone's speed, attack or special attack, but I knew something would become completely overpowered by the end of this battle.

I might use Jolteon again, considering how well it did, at the end of the battle that I had just had with Sneasel, and how it had helped me capture it, using the moves I had taught it, all by myself. Jolteon, was surely the king of speed, so all it really needed to be super strong, was special attack, and Smeargle, could do that very well, it was really good at thinking up nasty plots, that's how it was able to draw such a revealing picture of Lopunny, but hey, I can't blame him, I'm sure everyone's thought of how Lopunny looked fur-less, at least once in there lifetime, personally, I've thought of it way to many times to count, so probably between three and five.

    vs. Riolu BP1

Near seemed to be a like wandering ghost train with nowhere to go at this moment. The young trainer was either thinking up a plan on how to go about capturing Riolu, or his mind had been derailed by thoughts of everything except battle. I wondered if he was doing the same thing that he’d done when he was battling Sneasel, a move that had resulted in Breloom getting frozen.

I let out a small sigh of relief when he finally unclipped a Pokeball from his belt. He tossed the ball a short distance in front of him and watched as its contents emerged from within. A lone Smeargle, with its white fur and brown patches, emerged from the Pokeball. The Pokémon let out a battle cry (which, to a Pokémon, was usually its name) and got into a battling position.

After yet another long pause of silence, Near commanded his Pokémon to use Spore. The Pokémon nodded and lunged towards Riolu. He started to glow as he thrust both his arms forward, releasing a large bunch of fine powders. The powders looked innocent enough, but everyone, including Riolu, knew that these powders could prove to be a horrible nightmare if contact is made with them.

Riolu quickly countered the attack. The Pokémon’s legs became emblazoned with fire as he drew one of them back as if he was about to make the winning goal in a soccer game. Then, with a swift kick, he released a fan of flames that collided with the spores and burned them up. I was impressed by the Riolu’s ability to think quickly in a bind.

Anyways, the flames burned the fine powder from the Spore attack into nothingness. It didn’t stop there, however. After the spores were gone, the flames bypassed where they used to be and continued on a path to burn Smeargle. The flames were approaching the artistic Pokémon fast. I wondered how Near would react.

[[OOC: Your post was about 95% off-topic. It's good that you wrote a pretty decent amount, but most of it didn't pertain to the battle at all. Also, you failed to efficiently describe your attack, which counted against you. Nice try, but I'm sure you're capable of a lot better.]]

The flame was coming towards Smeargle way to fast, I didn't think that Smeargle would be able to dodge it, and I knew that it would hurt Smeargle quite a lot, since Smeargle was quite a frail Pokemon. I didn't want it to get damaged, to badly at least. That's when I had my idea, what if another Pokemon could take the attack, but be damaged much less. Smeargle also clearly had a last moment to cause some disruption. I knew one of my Pokemon could easily take a hit from a fire type move, considering that it was water and all. I remember, in a battle, when an Infernape used flamethrower against Kingdra, it hardly did any damage at all. In that battle Kingdra dominated completely. It was quite pathetic to be honest. I would have been embarrassed if I was Infernape's owner.

"Smeargle use encore, then Baton Pass to Kingdra!" I shouted out to it. I hoped this plan would work, because if it did, Kingdra would be able to damage Riolu, and Riolu would hardly be able to do any damage at all to my precious Kingdra. Kingdra could hit it with it's powerful water attacks, and try to get it asleep, or trick it with a substitute even, the possibilities were nearly endless!

I wondered if Smeargle heard me, but clearly it did, I knew this fact because the moment I said that Smeargle drew a ball with it's tail. The ball came to life as a pulse of white energy, instantly, it caused the cave to light up, for the first time I could see everything perfectly, the walls looked rusted, with copper, and the exit was no where in sight, hopefully Dee knew how to get out, because I surely wouldn't be able to. There were markings on the wall, possibly fossils of ancient Pokemon, I was even able to make out a fossil that appeared like a letter 'A', perhaps it was the fossil of one of the fabled Unown. After the ball lingered for a few seconds Smeargle smacked it towards the Riolu, hopefully, it was strong enough to mind-rape Riolu into using Blaze Kick for it's next attack. Hopefully even another attack after that, if Smeargle had managed to create a really strong source of energy, although I really doubted it because Smeargle hasn't had much practice with using Encore, and it's sketch of it, might not be well developed, it might possibly, not even work at all.

I starting talking to Riolu in the process. It didn't seem very interested in what I had to say, but nevertheless, complimenting it's cuteness, and awesomeness, was something I just couldn't resist, and it wasn't hard to detect the hint of jealousy in my Smeargle's eyes! I hopes it knows I love it most of all, and that I'm being nice to Riolu simply because I had just met it. Smeargle would never lose it's special spot in my heart, definitely not to something that is trying to hurt me!

Then Smeargle started to glow, ready to switch spots with Kingdra, it starting pulsing brighter and brighter. It's shape starting to become the misty form, of the substance inside the Pokeballs. Hopefully it would complete the switch, before getting hit, which would interrupt it's attempt at transferring spots with Kingdra.

Now I waited, to see if it would switch in time.

    vs. Riolu BP2

I wasn’t surprised at all when Near thought up a plan to defend himself against Riolu’s Blaze Kick.

“Smeargle, use Encore! Then, Baton Pass to Kingdra!” He commanded, just as Riolu was started to release his attack.

As soon as he heard his trainer’s command, Smeargle started to draw a ball with his tail. The ball came into full form and headed straight for Riolu. When he crashed into the Pokémon, Riolu paused a bit as if someone was talking to him. I assumed it was Encore. I guessed this was how Smeargle performed Encore. I’d never seen a Smeargle do Encore before to compare with.

The cave was immediately illuminated. It was even brighter than Luxray’s flash. I joked to myself wondering why Smeargle couldn’t always use Encore.

After his attack was completed, Smeargle started to glow. He changed from his current form into a hazy, misty form. This was the form that Pokémon took inside of their Pokeballs when they were converted to data for convenient storage.

As the flames came towards him, he disappeared in an instant. The attack flew past him, and between Near and me. It continued until it crashed into a nearby cave wall, waking up a group of sleeping Geodude and Graveler. The rock Pokémon ran out of the cave with loud thumping noises following behind.

When I turned back around, I was greeted by the sight of a Kingdra standing there. The Pokémon reminded me of my battle against Clair. Thinking it was purely a water type, I had used Luxray and was met with quite a shock when the electric attack did little damage. It wasn’t until I’d lost the match that I learned Kingdra was part dragon type. Needless to say, I won after going into the Dragon’s Den behind Clair’s gym and capturing a Dragonair. That Dragonair was the Dragonite that I had today.

The bulky Kingdra stood in position, waiting for Riolu’s next attack. Since Encore had been successful, Riolu had no choice but to use Blaze Kick. I wondered if Riolu would still be able to put up a fight even though his next 5 attacks were going to be weak to the Water/Dragon type Kingdra.

Riolu thought hard to himself. No matter what attack he thought of in his movepool, the only attack that came to mind was Blaze Kick. He jumped into the air and drew his leg back in an attempt to use Hi Jump Kick. However, when he kicked, flames were released instead! The flames rushed towards Kingdra at an intense speed.

Riolu was rushing towards Kingdra using Blace Kick. Even though Blaze Kick, probably wouldn't do a lot of damage, Kingdra was mine, and I wanted to make sure it wouldn't get hurt. The thing was, even though Kingdra was a water type, it could still get burned. Illogical, I know. Then I thought that even with the fire put out, Sneasel would still be going at full force. I remembered a move that could slow down Pokemon, I usually didn't use it, since it wasn't very powerful. That move was Bubblebeam. It had a good chance of slowing down enemy Pokemon. I wondered if a Pokemon could use two attacks, at the exact same time. I guess it was time to find out. I really hoped it worked, since Bubblebeam wouldn't do much by itself! Hydro Pump, would have done a lot more, even dragon pulse could have been an option, since Riolu didn't resist dragon type moves, till it evolved, and become part steel type as a Lucario. Lucario was a legend, and if I managed to catch Riolu, I would train it, till it evolved into Lucario, a very fabled Pokemon, most likely one of the oldest that isn't extinct, considering how much lore revolves around it's aura. It is such a unbelievable Pokemon, and I'd be sure to cherish it a lot.

"Kingdra use Bubblebeam and Yawn at the same time!" I cried out. I really hoped that Kingdra would be able to accomplish this, even though I haven't given it much experience in battle, and both of the moves it would try to be combining, were rarely used. I would have to consider using them more often, if they were able to go hand in hand. It would be like using an attack, that can also put my opponent to sleep. That's just awesome, usually you had to pick one or the other.

Kingdra opened it's mouth, a stream of blue bubbles omitting. That was Bubblebeam. I knew that yawn was in the form of pink bubbles, but I couldn't tell for sure if there was any pink in the strand of blue coming from Kingdra's mouth. I think I noticed some pink in the mixture, but it might have been a trick of my mind or of the light. I guess I would have to wait to find out if Riolu would fall asleep or not. I couldn't deny that it looked pretty cool. It reminded me of my childhood days, blowing soap bubbles in the backyard, getting one in my eye, and spending an hour crying, well my mom attempted to cheer me up. I remember my jerk of a brother, laughing at me. I imagined that the Riolu was my brother, it would make me feel less bad for hurting it. I can't believe I was taking part in the Pokemon hunting, it was so immoral. Pitting them against each other in battle for entertainment. Were all barbarians. It should be made illegal, we don't know if they enjoy it, I'm sure they enjoy winning, but to put them through so much? For what, a chance at a medal? I don't think I'm being a hypocrite, considering how I know it's wrong. I do still do it, but I acknowledge how truly horrible it is, well everyone else simply does it, and thinks not a single thought about it. Now I waited to see, what would happen.

OOC: Tell me how many characters I have left to go pl0x? :-3

    Riolu BP#1

The blue fighting Pokemon leaped in the air as it pointed its right foot towards the giant blue dragon that stood at the dark cave. The fire was getting stronger and stronger as Riolu came closer towards Kingdra. The attack came like it was nothing for Kingdra--it barely even made a scratch. Kingdra was still standing still, confident that it will surely make a greater comeback at Riolu.

"I have to assist the trainer, and fast." Ranger Alpha was on his orange ranger outfit, running from nowhere towards the insides of Mt. Oktori. He has been called at the docks to replace the ranger and to further assist the trainer on his travels inside the park. Passing small stalagmites, he must be inside the cave that they told him. Alpha heard some swishing sounds as if it was mixed with some flames. Coming closer to the battle site, he noticed that there was a Riolu battling with a Kingdra. Beside the Kingdra was a trainer that was currently battling Riolu. Alpha wouldn't interfere for now and decided to watch at a distance.

"Kingdra uses Bubblebeam and Yawn at the same time!" the trainer cried as Kingdra easily opened its mouth as several bubbles came out from it, heading towards Riolu. The color of the bubbles was weird enough, seeing as a complex combo such like that was performed by Kingdra easily. The bubbles had a tinge of pink color, making it sure that the bubble beams was mixed with Yawn.

The bubbles eventually reached Riolu's body as it tossed him backwards, the rocky walls of the cave damaged him a bit as well. When it lied on the ground its eyes were closed tightly as large snores came out from his mouth. Asleep, the Riolu was defenseless on the cold grounds of the cave. This would give the trainer a big advantage to continue doing complex combos.

"This trainer's good," I whispered to myself, reminscing the times that I had to use complex combos to get what I want from the current situation. Nevertheless, I still wouldn't get cocky about what's currently happening because in a single attack, it could wake up Riolu in an instant as it can make a counter attack towards Kingdra.

The insides of the cave was beginning to get colder as the breezing gusts of snow outside the cave started to come inside. Wasn't this a sight? The snow was making the cave colder, but it could be an advantage to the trainer as they can manipulate the bits of snow inside the cave to make it as an attack, making it stronger than ever. But that's totally up to the trainer if he will perform combos that would include the snow inside the cave.

Woohoo, Kingdra had managed to make the little Riolu fall asleep, like a little baby. Well, it was a baby Pokemon. Now that it was asleep, it would be the better time to catch it, right after making a last move at least! I decided that it would be worth a shot to try and freeze Riolu and possibly do a bit of damage too. The only ice move that Kingdra knew, was ice beam, so I guess that was my only option. Ice beam normally damaged Pokemon, but that wasn't needed it was just a bonus. It would be much better if I could just get Riolu to freeze. Unfortunately it was quite rare to freeze a Pokemon, and whenever I've tried, I've only succeeded about one in ten tries. I guess Pokemon can resist quite a bit of cold. This would be a long-shot, but I think I've thought up a perfect plan, and Riolu couldn't do anything to stop it, because it was sleeping.

"Kingdra use Water Gun, then proceed to use Ice Beam!" I whispered to Kingdra, determined that my plan would work. The idea was that with Riolu soaking wet it wouldn't be hard to freeze Riolu with ice beam. The water covering Riolu would freeze, causing Riolu itself to be frozen! The cave was also quite cold itself, so I wasn't sure if Ice beam would even be needed to freeze it. I looked at the temperature gauge I had attached to my bag, it showed -11C, definitely cold enough to freeze water. It seemed like a perfect plan, and I was sure Kingdra would do just fine. If not it wouldn't be getting any Poke Treats for quite awhile.

Kingdra sprayed water in Riolu's direction, it had gotten to dark to see exactly where it was. Hopefully it had hit. It then used ice beam, a beam of cold shot after the water, hoping to hit its target. Freeze was just, if not more effective then Sleep. When something was frozen, it could still see what was happening, and be helpless. When something was sleeping you couldn't see the terror in it's eyes, where's the fun in that? Freeze also made Pokemon much easier to catch, because when you're frozen, it would seem very unlikely to break out of a Pokeball, trying to restrain you.

I searched for some fragrance from my bag, it took me a good few seconds, because of how packed my back pack was, I don't even know how I had managed to jam everything inside. I took the cap off the Calming Fragrance Plus and sprayed it into the air, hoping to sooth the cold musky cave air and make Riolu easier to catch by using the strong sense of smell Pokemon have against it. Considering I thought the fragrance was quite strong, I can't even imagine how much it affected Pokemon themselves, which they were created for.

I took a Hyperball from my belt the best type of Pokeball available, well except for the fabled Masterballs, but being a farm boy, I couldn't afford the expensive, prototypes. I threw the at Riolu. I waited to see if the female baby Pokemon would be caught or if something would go wrong. Well I was waiting I looked towards the cave wall, because I didn't want to see what happened, I would find out, in a few seconds, and I was much to excited, and scared of the negative possibilies to look. Possibly Riolu would hit it away if it woke up, or maybe it would brake free from the ball. Who knows, anything could happen at this point. It was much to early to tell. I really did hope it would be caught as I've been wanting a Riolu for quite some time as of now.

OOC: If I catch it I'd like to leave the park, otherwise I'd like to stay ^.^

OOC2: If I catch it and you're still up for the Scizor for Kingdra trade Post in the Trading Machine.

    Riolu BP#2

The battle was almost drawing to a close, with Kingdra about to nail the match. Riolu, on the other hand, was still busy sleeping on the cold grounds of Mt. Oktori as the winter breezes of snow bursted inside the cave. It actually reminded Ranger Alpha on most of its travels inside the National Park as it escorted trainers that experienced severe blizzards inside. Good thing the snow at that moment weren't even close enough to be called a severe blizzard. Still, the cold air would give anybody a chilly feeling; intelligent trainers would use it for their own benefits.

"Kingdra use Water Gun, then proceed to use Ice Beam!" Even from afar, Alpha heard what the trainer commanded to the impish Kingdra.

"What is he doing!?" Alpha whispered to himself. The trainer should have been more productive to the surroundings and with the Pokemon instead of attacking it head on. Being straight forward was one of the things an impish Pokemon would do. He could always use non-damaging moves to strengthen Kingdra up a bit and then attacking the Riolu head on. All Alpha could do was to watch what the Kingdra will do now after having commanded directly to attack.

Kingdra, not too impressed the way his trainer commanded him to attack, slowly went closer to the sleeping Riolu, spraying it with water using a Water Gun attack. One thing that woke up a sleeping Pokemon or a person was water. As Riolu lied down on the ground, having sprayed instead of attacked, woke up and made a fighting pose towards Kingdra. "This doesn't look good," Alpha said to himself, who was currently watching behind a large stalagmite. At this point, things could be pretty serious.

Kingdra snapped out from being disappointed upon seeing that Riolu has been awaken. Somehow, it must've known that its trainer would get angry towards it. But he was the one to get blamed in the first place, attaking without thinking like that. Suddenly Riolu extended one if its arms towards Kingdra while it closed its eyes. Suddenly a ghostly form of Kingdra came out from its body as it went straight to Riolu. All of a sudden, Riolu had felt like it had Kingdra's ability in its body, as if he had Swift Swim.

"Amazing." Alpha's jaw dropped in amusement. This was the first time he had seen someone actually used Role Play in battle. Though Skill Swap was better, Role Play was just as better, but not that much. Riolu decided to test out its new ability, crossing its arms until its body glowed with a bluish aura. Seconds later, the top of the caverns was filled with dark clouds until it began to let rain fall down from it. Happy enough, Riolu ran in circles inside the cavern in a blinding speed. Kingdra then had a blue orb on its mouth as electric-like beams came out from it, trying to hit the running Riolu with Ice Beam. It managed to strike it at one of its legs, causing it to fall down to the wet and snowy ground.

Alpha looked at the trainer, seeing that he grabbed a Calming Fragrance Plus on his bag and sprayed it out in the air. All of a sudden Riolu got somehow attracted by the scent, which made it a bit vulnerable to being caught. It stopped running for a second as it looked towards the trainer that sprayed the scent. Attracted by it, Riolu seemed a bit distracted than ever. Grabbing a Hyper Ball the trainer tried to throw it to Riolu, who tried to ran around in circles using its new ability. Surprisingly, the Hyper Ball missed as it rebounded into a wall, back to the trainer. Rolling on the floor, it was soaked with water and covered in snow a bit.

"To catch that Riolu, the trainer would have to stop it from using its ability and make it stay on the ground in one place so that the Hyper Ball could eventually reach it." With that being said to only Alpha himself, he hoped that the trained could have the same thoughts in finding ways to catch Riolu instead of attacking it in an instant.

"Kingdra return!" I said holding up it's Pokeball. It turned into it's shadowy form and was sucked back into it.

"Go Jolteon!" I said, throwing the Pokeball to release it and as soon as it touched the ground, Jolteon appeared before me.

I knew Jolteon was fast, but Riolu was a whole other league of fast. What better way to slow down a Pokemon, then to paralyze it, I thought to myself. First Jolteon would need to get close to Riolu, so that it would have a much lower chance of missing it's attack.

"Jolteon run up to Riolu using Quick Attack, then use Thunder-Wave" I commanded. Jolteon acknowledged me with a spark of energy emitting from it's body.

Jolteon ran up to Riolu quickly, storing up energy to release at Riolu once it got close enough, in seconds it had reached Riolu, and had released the shock waves. Before waiting to see what happened, I grabbed a Hyper ball from my bag and through it at Riolu. Hopefully I would finally capture Riolu, the pre-evolution to the legendary Lucario.

OOC: Sorry for the wait, I had been busy for the past few days, I'll make it up to you. I promise. o:

    IC:

"Kingdra return!" Near grabbed his Pokeball and retrieved Kingdra back inside it. Kingdra turned into a red light as it went straight towards the Pokeball.

"Go, Jolteon!" he grabbed a different Pokeball and tossed it in the air until a bluish-white light came out from it and revealed a yellow Pokemon. It ran in small circles, while Riolu continued to run in bigger circles. "Jolteon run up to Riolu using Quick Attack, then use Thunder-Wave," Near began to command Jolteon, who nodded faintly in return.

Riolu suddenly stopped for a second and curled itself into a small ball. Then its body began to shine brightly, as if its body was polished thoroughly. Using Iron Defense made its defenses stronger, giving it lesser chances for the enemy to land strong attacks on it.

Jolteon began to dash from its place towards the curled Riolu, but the Quick Attack dealt little damage at all. "Now is its chance to land a Thunder Wave," Alpha whispered to itself. Jolteon began to open its mouth to form a blue electric sphere in front of it--sadly, Riolu was faster. It got up quickly and covered itself with a green barrier that prevented any kinds of attacks from reaching it. Just then, Jolteon released the Thunder Wave towards Riolu, who was using Protect. It had no effect at all.

"This is going to be a tough one, Riolu is doing good in the battle," Alpha noted, Riolu then began to ran in circles, wanting to show off its speed at Jolteon.

OOC: You didnt add CC from my last post :(

"Jolteon use Attract, then thunder!" I said.

Oh yeah, Im totally taking advantage of Jolteon's jolly ability by using attract, and since it's raining, and Riolu is wet, it's going to be even stronger since the water will conduct electricity!

Jolteon looked at Riolu with love in it's eyes, it took a paw and blew kisses, once it had caught Riolu in it's deeps eyes it lit up and sent a huge blast of energy towards it.

I waited to see if Riolu would fall out of it's trance with Jolteon fast enough to avoid getting hit, but I'm sure Jolteon would do a great job, after all, it is a loving creature.

"Jolteon use Attract, then Thunder!" Near commanded, all pumped up for Jolteon's attacks. It must've thought that since its awkwardly raining inside the cave and everyone was all wet, he grabbed the opportunity to use the water as a conductor of electricity. Jolteon looked at Riolu with a dignified look, suddenly it winked at Riolu as pink hearts went directly towards Riolu.

"I wonder how this would end," Alpha said to himself. As the hearts made its way towards Riolu, it ran to the other side with its ability, evading the Attract in the process. After a few seconds, Riolu's arm glowed with a sticky purple color and tried to jab Jolteon on its stomach, using Poison Jab. Jolteon was tossed to one side of the cave as the rocky walls did some damage to Jolteon as well.

Strange enough, dark lightning clouds appeared at the cavern's ceiling as lightning roared inside. After a few seconds, a beam of electricity was shot off from the dark cloud and made its way towards Riolu. Its massive structure managed to hit Riolu barely, just about on its foot while it was running around.

"You need to make Jolteon completely understand your tactics so that it would hit." Alpha just kept watching.
