OOC: Just remember that Rangers decide whether attacks miss or not, you may say things like "keep that agility up to try and dodge that Weather Ball." Also an easy way to boost character count as well as make your attacks more successful is to describe the attacks in more detail.

The hail continued to hammer down all across the battlefield, icicles were shattering on the ground spraying the area in a fine mist. Buzz gave a sigh of relief as the Ice Weather Ball hurtled straight past Metagross.

“Iron Defence!” Mubz called out hoping to stop the damage caused by the hail. It appeared to work the hail bounced of Metagross as if it were harder than the ground itself. Then Buzz noticed that Froslass’ eyes had turned a lighter shade of purple than was typical. It looked like Psychic, but it wasn’t being used on Metagross. Buzz looked around and saw far behind Metagross, the ice Weather Ball they both assumed had missed had become trapped in the same purple aura that held Froslass in place. Its trajectory was changing, it was now hurtling back towards Metagross.

“Ok Metagross, keep the Psychic attack up, now get close and use a Bullet Ice Punch Combo!” Mubz yelled, hoping his voice would carry through the now deafening clattering of the hail on the ground. Metagross heeded Mubz command and set of hurtling once more towards Froslass. This time with both arms out in front of it and ice had begun to form on the claws.

The ice Ball was still hurtling towards Metagross. Just before it was about to strike Froslass with its Bullet Ice Punch, the ball smacked into Metagross’ back and shattered. The collision threw Metagross forward and its body began to roll in the air, but it was still speeding towards Froslass. The two Pokemon collided, both were sent crashing into the ground. It looked as if the Bullet Ice Punch had become more of a powerful Ice Tackle. Froslass appeared to be free from the purple aura of the Psychic attack but was now trapped under Metagross’ weight.
