I jumped out of the ranger chopper and approached the battling trainer. "Hey I was just battling this Slowking when Buzz had to leave. I'm growing bored so I'll just take a Pokedoll so we can move on."

I quickly got out a Slowpoke-shaped plush doll from my backpack and chucked it into the open. Slowking immediately dashed at it thinking it was his own son. He tackled the toy and hugged it like it was his own.

"Well, I guess we'll leave him to that," I said. "Let's move on before he comes back."

We continued walking along the lake's edge toward the docks. I knew there might be more stuff in the water. Suddenly, a squirt of water shot into my face. I quickly turned toward the disturbance and saw nothing in the lake but a few lily pads. I took another step forward but the squirt returned. What was the meaning of this? I turned quick enough this time to spot a lily pad with a small blue body under it. When we locked eyes, it hopped out of the water and stood in our path. It seemed pleased to have finally met a trainer.

"Looks like Lotad wants a battle. You up for it?"

We kept walking along as the Slowking was deftly hugging the Slowpoke Pokedoll like it was his offspring or something. Quite odd but who could complain. I had already battled a heavy load with Slowking and I couldn't be arsed to do anymore. We continued in the heat of the day till the ranger got sprayed in the face with what seemed to be a water gun. I laughed a little bit. It came from around the lily pads. It came again until the ranger saw a blue body under the lily pad. It was a little Lotad who seemed happy to see me. I smiled and pulled out another 500. "Another doll please."

Kaiser simply smiled at Lotad as he handed me a wad of bills and said, "Another doll please."

"Thank goodness," I said sarcastically. I began fishing in my backpack till I felt something plush in my hand. I quickly pulled it out and found a Lotad doll. It was a good replica; it even had the lily pad details. I quickly chucked it into the lake. However, he stopped before jumping back in the water and gave me another squirt to the face. I was not amused.

"Alright, let's just move on," I said as I wiped my face off.

We walked along the shoreline near the docks and what looked like a tiny pink boat came closer. Was it a baby Lapras? Not quite. The tiny water wings and the blue sluggish body instantly tipped me off to what it was.

"Want a Shellos?" I asked Kaiser.

Walking along the side of the lake, he let his gaze wander out towards the lake and hoped something useful would come by. He had missed a chance to catch that Poliwag and Wingull he saw earlier. That brought him down bit but he put on a happy face and continued. He was sure he would see them again one day and he would make sure that he captured them both. This would be a pain in the ass to get over but something good would come his way. While walking, a blue colored boat like thing came towards the both of them. What was it? Kaiser looked towards the ears and noticed the odd shape to them and realized it was a Shellos. That would be a somewhat useful water type to have.

The question would be what to battle it with. He was sure that this Shellos would magically counter his every Pokemon like the bastard it is so he had to be crafty. A water type wouldn't much use to another water type. Or Hydregion could come in and do some damage. It was a tough decision knowing that most water types know Ice Beam or Blizzard and would without a doubt spam that to no end. But then again, Hydregion has some heavy defenses and the Shellos won't have the same type attack bonus. This would play out quite interesting.

"Tsukuyomi, come out and fight!"

He threw a red and white Pokeball into the air and out came a black and purple Dragon pokemon with three heads. Each roared in unison at the tiny Shellos. Bullyish yes, but he needed to win and win fast. The three heads were nearly going to tear at each others jugular so I had to get this battle over with fast.

"Dark Pulse now!"

The three heads focused a ball of three purple rings in the middle of their chest while roaring. Once the ball had formed perfectly, they fired it directly towards the Shellos with amazing speed.

"Tsukyomi, come out and fight this," Kaiser said without even responding to my question.

The red and white Pokeball he threw emitted a bright light that faded into a floating dragon boasting a trio of heads; one on its neck and the two more on the ends of his arms. The purple and black body struck fear into all that saw it. Had this dragon undergone a mutation or something? All three heads glared at Shellos and blasted out a roar together. At least they didn't conflict like a Dodrio would.

"Dark Pulse, now," he ordered to his mysterious dragon.

The head triad gathered in close as three black rings formed from the center of them. With a shout from all the heads, the energy was released in one giant wave. The pulse knocked Shellos completely backwards and upside down. It struggled for a good amount of time; it couldn't move. After about thirty seconds of trying to rotate, it managed to kick back onto its underside again. Before it could muster up an attack, Tsukyomi was already prepared for another one. The precious loss of time might hurt it in the long run.

Dark Pulse had done quite a bit of damage. It was pretty interesting on how the flinch managed to work for him as his luck was usually never that amazing, but he didn't mind. All of it was just luck. Nothing more. Thinking ahead, he had previously thought that Shellos was a ground and water dual type but upon checking his Pokedex and found it was only a water type. That was relieving a bit since Tsukuyomi could now use other moves to make up for his lack of Grass type moves. He could switch Zoroark in and use a Gross Knot and Nasty Plot combo but it would be an absolute waste of time. Tsukuyomi could tough this out a bit longer. His Hidden Power could come in handy but it would seem a bit too powerful. Hydregions were now to have the highest special attack among non legendary dragon type pokemon. Quite the high feat. It, however, sacrificed the the chance to use Dragon Dance, a dragon type move that increased the attack and speed of the Pokemon.

He couldn't use Thunder Fang as although it only had an amazing Special Attack, its normal Attack wasn't something to be scoffed at. It could use Draco Meteor but he did not want to kill the little guy. Flash Cannon or Focus Blast. One did have a higher chance of hitting while one was more powerful. Focus Blast only had a 70% chance to hit. Flash Cannon seemed like the better choice since it had a above average attack power and it would have a better chance to hit it.

"Flash Cannon! Hit it while its down!''

The command came out brisk, almost as if he was hoping for it to hit. The Shellos was stunned quite a bit but that didn't mean it couldn't recover in the mean while. The two heads on the outer ends began charging a bright silver ball with black specs on the inside. They absorbed the balls through they're mouths as the the silver light shined through they're throats. The energy spheres hit the dragons stomach and began to refine itself, making it more dense in nature. Hit harder and faster was the game plan. The middle head coughed up the sphere and launched the silver-white wave of energy at the Shellos, the beam seeming darker in nature. All the Hydregion head could think of were what move to use next. They all shared a collective consciousness, like a Dodrio, but more rabid. One wanted food and was willing to eat the Shellos if it could. The other agreed but would rather not considering the consequences of that action. The middle one told the other to shut the hell up so it could make sure the shot synced up correctly.

"Flash Cannon! Hit it while it's down!" Kaiser ordered.

A silver shimmer began to form in each of the Dark-type's mouths. All three of them began spitting silver orbs near the space on its stomach. The ball began growing larger, growing with each tiny orb added to it. Finally, the sphere was about as tall as the Pokemon itself. Suddenly, all three heads leaned back and lunged forward sending the orb of energy flying at Shellos. He tried to move out of the way but jumped too late; the ball struck him right on the side. Shellos was tossed into the air, rolling sideways as he hit the ground.

Not willing to lose time again, he quickly got back up and started moving his mouth around, almost like a mixer. After a brief second of mixing, he breated in and let out a breath of water that managed to hit all of Tsukyomi's heads. Suddenly, the all started fighting with each other. What was wrong? It was just a bit of water. However when I saw them rubbing their eyes against each of the other heads, I knew what it was.

"Looks like Shellos is trying to buy some time with Brine," I warned

"Looks like Shellos is trying to buy some time with Brine,"

"Shit," he muttered as he watched the heads of Tsukuyomi rub against each other in a frenzy. Brine was going to be a pain in the ass if Tsukuyomi got below 50% of his health, then the damage would be doubled. He needed a way to get something done before they started pulling out the Ice moves. He ran through his options and though a bit. He could Thunder Fang it but that would be a very risky move. All Tsukuyomi had left was Hidden Power but his massive Special Attack would most likely knock it out. He went with the first option but this time added on a twist. Using three sets of fangs at once, he would be able to strike it for some heavy damage even if he didn't have the same type attack bonus. It could still be just as effective.

"Use a Thunder Fang, three pronged joint attack!"

The heads looked at each other and then to Kaiser, who was starting back at them. The agreed and soon they're mouths began sparking up wildly. The mouths glowed a bright yellow and the fangs elongated to that of spears. They then swooped down towards the Shellos, fangs bared and growling. They released a slight roar of intimidation that would hopefully keep it in place a little while as it would soon hit his mark very soon. He waited and waited for the right moment as he pulled out a Super Ball and twisted it between his hands. Once Tsukuyomi struck, he would rear back and throw the Pokeball in a massive arc, a perk from playing Baseball for many years. It would sail through the air and gleam in the sunlight as it would descend on the Shellos.

"Use a Thunder Fang, three pronged joint attack!" Kaiser shouted.

Now this was an interesting thing I had to see. Sure a pair of electrified fangs could cause some damage. But 3 pairs? Who knows what damage that could do?

The three heads stopped rubbing against each other as they tried to shake off the salt water. The trio finally exposed their reddened eyes to the air as they tried to resume their focus. After a couple of blinks, they bit down on their fangs simultaneously as electric sparks began forming around their mouths. The dark dragon started hovering toward Shellos, gaining speed with every half second. All at once, the trio bit down on Shellos's soft skin. The teeth sank into the sea slug's body and pumped him full of electricity. Shellos screamed and vibrated in pain from the bite and the electricity.

The fangs released from the water type due to the strain on their jaws. Shellos had quite a few puncture wounds from three heads biting it. Shellos knew he needed to buy some more time. He leaned back to take in some air and held it in for a second. What could he be doing? Was he trying to pressure something? Indeed he was. His body heat and the pressure warmed the water to a blistering temperature. Tsukyomi was hit with all kinds of burning droplets as all three heads danced around to try fan the heat off of them. It skin succumbed to a reddish tint but it wasn't quite a burn. No doubt it was painful though.

Immediately seeing his opportunity, Kaiser took a step back and chucked his green superball at the bleeding water type. With a flash of red, the water type was taken inside. It rumbled once. It rumbled twice. It rumbled once more. *click*

I smiled as I walked over to the Pokeball and placed inside an empty pocket on my backpack. "Nice work. You got yourself a Shellos," I said to Kaiser.

"Oh thank Arceus. I though it wouldn't go through. Good Job Tsukuyomi! You guys did an excellent job." he said runnning up to them and patting them on the back. The three head just roared in excitement and held their trainer back happily. He really shared a bond with his Pokemon. He released the embrace and turned back to the ranger, obviously happy about the capture. I'm ready to continue!" The path ahead looked a bit wet from the battle before but manageable. He wondered what Pokemon he was going to see along the way. Hopefully something more powerfull, not that Shellos wasn't powerful.

"Oh thank Arceus. I though it wouldn't go through. Good Job Tsukuyomi! You guys did an excellent job."

Kaiser went over to his Hydreigon and gave him a nice pat on the back. I was amazed at his performance too since he caught a Pokemon this fast. At this rate, he'll be walking away with the whole park in no time.

I was getting ahead of myself. "Let's move on. I'm sure there's something awesome up ahead," I said to Kaiser. I wanted to continue along the shoreline toward the docks when something caught my eye across the lake. A quadripedal Pokemon was dashing on the water surface. How was it doing that? Its red mane trailed behind it as its feathery blue tail swayed in the wind. It suddenly exited the water and began running on the land. The mysterious Pokemon gradually slowed down to take a breather and collect its thoughts. Fortunately, he stopped about 50 yards ahead of us.

"Oh boy. There's something you don't see everyday," I told Kaiser.

There it was. The legend of the Moor of Icirrus. Keldeo was like a pony with a massive red feather man. It had a single white horn. It had a cream colored body with cerulean hooves. Its tail matched its feathery hat. It was the youngest of the Musketeer quartet of Cobalion, Terrakion and Virizion. Kaiser had assumed they were based off of The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas. They all had the ability to use Sacred Sword, a fighting type move that bypassed any and all defensive and evasion boosts. The move Sacred Sword is the signature move of all of the three. They almost seemed like brothers when he looked them up in his Pokedex. All had the signature horn on top of their head but all seemed so different. The typing were the same in one sense since they were all dual typed. All members were part fighting and only differentiated by Steel, Rock, Grass, and Water. They also had similar move sets but each had a different stats. They also share the ability Justified, raising the attack each time hit by a dark type move and also nullifying the damage.

It was such a sight to see as he fumbled with his Camera. He could tell Bill was also in awe as well. It wasn’t Lugia or Kyogre but it was still an amazing legendary. His hands wanted to take the picture right away, but he couldn’t just yet. Just a little more time to gaze upon the majesty that it beheld. The dex said it could eject blasts of water from its hooves to propel it across the water faster. That was sure innovative of Arceus to give it that ability. He watched the horse graze around on the water as it lapped at the lakes freshwater. It was a refreshing sight to see a legendary enjoying some peaceful time in the Lakes. I was hoping that Kyogro wouldn’t pop up from under it and eat it in one gulp, but it seemed like it could handle itself pretty easily. I turned to Bill and looked back out on the lake. “You know, it’s really nice to see just some calming ambiance in the world today. Just wars and nuclear holocausts and other stupid things. I only want to just die peacefully…or quickly, whichever one comes first.” He said chuckling a little bit. “But damn, where’s my camera again?” he said as he knelt down to open up his backpack and rummage around it a bit and found the specialty camera lying in his backpack. "Do you see this idiot?" I asked my trusted partner Collossus, my Golett. The small golem just shrugged his shoulders and continued to look around. I had wanted to come to the lakes for some time to find some Pokemon, but the odds of finding what I wanted here were too low. I knew it would take a while for me to find what I wanted. Instead, I would just scope out the area while I took some nub on a run, if I could find him that is. I stopped when I saw Keldeo running past me. It gave me a smile as it passed by.

I knew legends usually ran from Trainers, so I figured mine was up ahead somewhere. Good thing too, because I was already going to leave and go back to base. I continued forward until I came across a nerdy looking Trainer and a new Ranger who I hadn't been aquainted with yet.

"Base needs you back for something else." I said to the Ranger, and with that, he was gone. I looked into the river and saw a small Basculin staring back at us. "Battle that." I demanded.

"Oh god not the Transformer nut." I said as he turned his head towards the dude. God this was going to be a pain in the ass. I watched the Keldeo run away from the flash of the camera so things couldn't be all bad. I looked at the river and saw a fairly small Basculin starting back at them. Probably thinking both him and the ranger looked like retards. Just his luck. "Battle that." he demanded as I looked at him with a strange look. Didn't rangers normally ask first if the trainer wanted to battle? Such rudeness.

"I'll battle then I'm going to file a complaint on your ass." I said as I reached towards my belt and looked around for the correct Pokeball and brought it out. I smiled and threw the Pokeball over the lake and a bright silver light released from it. The silver light formed in the lake into a Sea Serpent/Dragon like creature, blue to color spectrum and it had a massive purple shell on its back. He used his flippers to swim around and enjoy the space that his was given. Lapras was an amazing water type and just as agile as most water types. I turned to it and smiled, watching it speed around the lake a bit in order it stretch his flippers.

"Ok, I haven't battled with you in a while but lets make this fight a good one alright?" I asked hoping he'll be ready.

He smiled and started singing, almost putting me in a daze. I wished he would stop attempting to get me to sleep. He turned to the Basculin and smiled, possibly a gesture of good faith or a mutual understanding of being a water type, I didn't know slash care. Just as long as things went well. I grabbed a fragrance out of my backpack and chucked it at the Pokemon. It would completely breakdown, biodegradable after all. The scent would fill the Basculins nose and it would make the Pokemon easier to capture. I looked at Lapras and smiled watching as he was directly in front of the Basculin, just like a piece on a chess board.

"Thunderbolt!" I commanded as the Lapras opened his mouth and began charging an electric ball in his mouth. After a few seconds of charging, he released the ball into the lake and directed the current towards the Basculin. He smiled and commanded Lapras to also set up a Dragon Dance as well in order to keep up a slight advantage over the Pokemon.

"I'll battle then I'm going to file a complaint on your ass." He responded.

"Oh wow, hear that Colossus, we got a whiny ass here." I said laughing. "Now go on and battle like a good little boy." That shut him up, at least for the time being.

"Ok, I haven't battled with you in a while but lets make this fight a good one alright?" He said to his Lapras. This Trainer didn't look prepared to battle, but at least it was something small like this Basculin. I wasn't totally sure he could handle something like a Gyarados or something equivalant to that.

He ordered his Lapras to use Thunderbolt. Judging by the way his Lapras looked, I was surprised it even knew that. Then again, looks can be deciving. The Lapras began charging up his electrical move. I could see sparks forming around his body. Basculin, being a Water type, was going to take some major damage from this.

Lapras released the Thunderbolt attack towards Basculin, who was now crying out in pain. You would think that it would slow the small fish down, but now. The Thunderbolt attack, strangely enough, sort of energized him a bit. Basculin charged at Lapras, covered in a stream of dark blue water and glowing white. He had combined Aqua Jet and Take Down attack. It was a pretty impressive combo. This little Basculin sure had some fight in him.

The Basculin was was tough, ramming into him with a with a Aqua Jet/Take Down combo. This was very rough. His movements were rough and unrefined, the mark of a true warrior. I couldn't decide on what to do. The Thunderbolt only seemed to energize him to the point of restlessness. Lapras had a small black mark against the left of his neck from where he was hit. The Lapras let out a soft shrill, indicating he could still go on and he wanted to fight. I analyzed the situation and thought. What could I do in this situation? He checked his PokeDex and went through Lapras's moves. Water and Ice didn't do much. Grass and Electric were the real hitters and luckily he had at least two. "Lapras, dive under water." I commanded. The Lapras sunk under the water and swam around. I could see the outline of his body in the glass clear water. "Thunder!" The Lapras's body sparked up, surrounding himself in a bright, yellow electrical field. He released all of the water in a field around him, a very wide field but not enough to actually damage any of the nearby Pokemon in the ecosystem. He smiled and and looked at the field as it glowed bright yellow and damaging the Basculin in small drops. He had another plan and it involved getting the Basculin in the air.

"Lapras, dive under water." He commanded. Lapras quickly obeyed the orders and disappeared underwater. "Thunder!" He said. I saw the bottom of the lake begin to light up, just as the top would when the sun rose in the morning. The electricity made its way up towards Basculin. This Electric type attack was way stronger than the Thunderbolt attack it used earlier. It was clear that it would do more damage to it this time.

Basculin was sent flying into the air. However, it was the only thing that did so. A small useless Magikarp was also sent above water. The small, weak fish was knocked out. It appeared that the Thunder attack wasn't a great idea. This guy was battling as if he owned the place. He should have known that it was a lake and that fish are all around and that there would be some dumb ones like Magikarp who just happen to get in the way. I took note on that, was going to have to penalize him, even if it was just a Magikarp.

"Watch where you aim your attacks your twit." I said to him. Skullcruncher, my Hydreigon, came out of his Pokeball and flew over towards the Magikarp, and ate it. Meanwhile, Basculin was now falling from the sky, but it also appeared to be using an attack, I just wasn't sure what yet.

I turned to see the Hydregion eating a Magikarp. Awesome. It was a different color than mine, skull white with red streaks along side of it. Very tribal looking if you add the way the three heads were destroying the Magikarp as they munched down on it noisily. Very awesome. I turned my attention back to the battle and noticed the Basculin was falling from the sky. Did the Thunder work? This my chance. I grabbed a canister with a pin on the top from my backpack. It was a metallic silver with a bright blue label on the front, depicting calm blue skies, a sandy beach and a Wingull on the front cover. It was the Soothing Max Fragrance, the one that sooths a Pokemons soul and get it less riled up. Just what I needed. The Basculin was fairly high up up but I decided to act quickly. I would throw the canister at the Basculin as it was landing. Genius? I think so. The only problem was there was a chance to miss. I accepted that challenge.

"Here goes something!" I said, pulling the pin, seeing the chalky blue smoke hiss out.

I threw the canister at the Basculin as it was making its way downwards, hitting it in the mid section. Both the Basculin and canister fell into the lake. The canister said non toxic on the label and it wouldn't drastically affect the environment. Hopefully the Basculin absorbed enough of it to be less of a problem. I watched as my Lapras surfaced upwards and looked around, first at me, then the Hydregion eating a Magikarp and then to find Basculin. I could hear Exia, my Gallade, shake in my Pokeball that was on my belt, wanting to battle despite our psychic conversation. Sure his Leaf Blade could cause some damage but think about if it got a Critical Hit. Then no Basculin for me and then I'd be out of a cool Pokemon. And that would reeeeally suck. I sighed and waited for the Basculin to resurface, no doubt it was plotting something sneaky or the like. I wondered what it could do? This was a Blue Basculin so I looked it up in the Dex and saw its abilities Rock Head and Adaptability. Seeing that it didn't take any damage from the Aqua Jet assisted Take Down, I assumed the former. This was going to be a long day. I had Lapras set up a Safeguard in order to guard himself from any secondary abilities. The transparent green light wafted over me, part of the lake and even the Ranger. It would set out a calming, relaxed feeling as the movements of the waves rocking back and forth just added to the ambiance. I smiled and viewed the sight with pride. Safeguard was one of Lapras's best moves. Next to Ice Beam, Blizzard, and Dragon Dance, Safeguard was my of Lapras's most commonly used moves. I often wondered why I didn't put him in contests more often. Oddly, many people mistake him for a female Lapras, but it really never bothered him much. He loved the attention and didn't mind putting on a show for others.

I saw the Basculin fin peek out over one of the edges of a wave. This was my chance. I was sure the if the Pokeball could just hit a fin, that would help as a capture. But maybe if I had a better shot at it, my chances would increase ever so slightly. I commanded a Dragon Pulse to expand the area around it. Lapras's body becomes outlined in light green and it released a pulse off its body that pushed back the water around the Basculin, giving me a clear shot. This wasn't meant to harm it, just get a better angle at it. I could see it now, glaring at me, watching me. Those teeth didn't make matters even better. The Piranha looked like it was ready to bite my head off. It was a killer alright. I grasped my Hyperball and tossed it at the are the Basculin was.

Lapras attacked Basculin again, but I wasn't even paying attention now. This guy was annoying and battling suckishly. I couldn't watch that. I just pulled out my DSi and started playing Mario Kart, which was way more entertaining than this battle. The last thing I remember seeing was Lapras using some Dragon type move, which more than likely Dragon Pulse, but I wasn't too informed on the moves Lapras knew.

About five minutes later, I looked up and saw a Hyperball floating in the water. I walked over towards it and picked it up. "Hmph, surprised you caught it." I mumbled. "When you and your Pokemon are ready to leave, we'll head out I guess."

"Hold onto this Colossus." I said, tossing the Pokeball over towards my Golett partner.
