Tony wasn't too interested in the Sandslash, so he rummaged into his bag in order to find a Pokédoll. He inflated it and placed it on the ground, and the ground-dweller immediately took interest. It went right up to the doll and sniffed, poking around with its nose. Seemingly satisfied, it grabbed a hold of the doll and shoved past them, not giving them another notice.

Ivy shrugged and moved on. She wasn't exactly sure what all of these Pokémon's fascinations were with those dolls, but as long as they worked, she wasn't going to complain. Sometimes it was hard enough avoiding the wild ones that wouldn't leave Trainers alone. She couldn't think of how frustrating it would be if they always had to battle to fend them off.

They traveled down the tunnel farther, and Ivy listened to the distant scratches that echoed down the walls, wondering what it was from. There were muffled cries up ahead, but she knew they could be from almost anywhere on the mountain due to the cave network. It was still a bit eerie though, but she couldn't say she didn't like the sounds of nature. She reminded herself to remember to ask if they could host a Halloween event here this year.

Eventually the path widened out a bit, into a more open room that was littered with rocks. A sudden crashing sound sent her on high alert, and she shined the flashlight around to get a good look.

Another loud bang sounded across the room, and this time dust and small pieces of rock were flung their way. She coughed, waving aside the dust as she shined the light again.

A Cranidos was staring at them, rocking slowly back and forth as its down-turned head tapped a rock. The top was blue, but it was scratchy, as if crashing into rocks with its head was the only thing it did. It looked at them for a long time, and Ivy saw it paw at the ground with its foot as its fingers twitched.

“Any interest in a Cranidos?” she asked.
