Even though his attacks were not all that effective, Chris continued to encourage his Pokemon. Such role-model acts were deeply sought after as the President of our country believed in FAMILY TIES.

Chris decided to call for a repeat of the earlier Ice Beam, but it seems like he is using a different application instead. He commanded his Cryogonal to release the blast of freezing beam onto the ground surrounding Miltank instead. I grinned in agreement at the strategy used. But not for long. Although Ice Beam froze up the ground and made navigating the field so much more slippery for Miltank, I was not sure if that was considered an advantage or disadvantage for Miltank. The slippery surface could either speed up Miltank's Rollout or change the momentum and surprise Miltank instead. We would have to see.

Cryogonal was not going to wait and see however, and promptly followed up with a SolarBeam. With the sunlight still strong, SolarBeam took very little to charge and was instantly fired towards Miltank. Miltank started to spin away defensively upon sensing the SolarBeam, but she seemed to have skidded away in the opposite direction and took the attack right in the belly. I started to wonder if it was possible that the ice would perhaps deter Miltank from dodging moves easily, but instead sped up her attacks. My questions were quickly answered as the Miltank didn't even need time to recover and counterattacked back with a Rollout immediately.

Just as I had suspected, the Rollout's speed was boosted by almost twice as the Miltank skidded towards Cryogonal, and she pummeled Cryogonal without warning with a super effective hit. I had noticed that the attack was not right on mark since Miltank had targeted Cryogonal on the right, narrowly missing it. The slippery ground was probably going to affect Miltank's accuracy, but it had increased the speed and possibly power of Rollout at the same time.

I watched as my crystallization mirror levitated in a circle and readied her Ice Beam, and Solarbeam techniques. Even though they would not be as effective as a Fighting move on a Normal Pokemon, it was better than sitting like a duck. Quack. I loved encouraging my Pokemon and kept doing so until the end. It was my way of doing things and my Pokemon, my rules! I needed to capture this Miltank soon before Cryogonal takes so much damage. I had prayed for my strategy to work this one time and I knew sometimes I

could make the wrong decisions, but as a trainer that is normally expected.
I waited for Cryogonal to use Ice Beam first, but this time to target the ground instead. It may cause some damage to the grass, but I needed to try something. I noticed that Ataro grinned for a moment. Nobody could know what that cuddly Ranger thought when he smiled. However, his smile did not stay for long. I watched the cold beam of ice materialise the dirty ground, and made a navigating field slippery for Miltank. Suddenly, I worried if my strategy was not as clever as it was… Only time will tell.

I watched in anticipation as my Cryogonal did not and followed up with my original plan of Solarbeam. It absorbed the bright rays of the sunlight and did not wait to charge. A long, illuminated charge of the Solarbeam spouted in a flash of light in the direction of the bipedal, pink cow. I noticed that the stressed Miltank started to spin away defensively upon the illuminated Solarbeam technique. I laughed for a moment and noticed Miltank skidding in the opposite direction she wanted to go. The Solarbeam blasted her four-uddered belly and I watched he skid on the cold ice. I breathed for a moment and thought “phew”, perhaps I am safe this time. Then unexpectedly, Miltank slipped on the ice and picked up speed. Miltank did not rest for a second and recovered with a counter attack. Cryogonal needed to be careful, and was watching the pink cow use Rollout.

“Oh no,” I said, and worried. “Perhaps I was dumb this time.” My face went glum and watched the attack unfold. Ataro on the other hand seemed to have acknowledged what might have happened if I used this combination. Miltank rolled out quicker than before and skidded in the direction of my crystallization mirror; she did not stop and then pummelled Cryogonal. A super effective hit, which luckily did not hit any major areas. Cryogonal had some marks to the right of its light-blue, mirror like body. The slippery ground looked all frozen, but I wonder how long it would take the sunlight to melt away the cold, calm ice. I also wondered if Miltank’s Rollout attack would have less accuracy due to the ice, we will see.

“Cryogonal,” I said, and waved. “Be careful this time, I know you can do this.” I encouraged Cryogonal once more, before plotting a new strategy. Miltank was in a current state of Rollout, and Cryogonal was a sitting duck in the atmosphere. My icy, light-blue mirror needed to stay up its health a little.

“Cryogonal, try and recover some health with Recover quickly,” I shouted, and instructed. “I know it’s risky, but we need to be risky against this awesome Miltank over there.” Cryogonal clanked its black mouth, and readied to use Recover. I nodded with another move in my head.

“Then, I want you to use straight after a Bind attack,” I said, and waved. “Try to constrict it a little to lower its health and momentum.” Cryogonal nodded, and waited to use its attacks. The sun shone brightly above us, and kept sparkling off Cryogonal’s mirror like body. Perhaps it was like an awesome reflection, and I used it sometimes as a mirror in the bathroom. Sometimes even brushing my teeth when I would lose the mirror in my bathroom. I would simply bust out Cryogonal and it’ll wake up and act as my mirror. Such a cute Cryogonal, everybody should have a Cryogonal!

“Hey Ataro, are you enjoying the run?” I asked politely. I turned to Ataro and had hoped he was enjoying the show. It was sometimes hard to tell when he got down about the current run, therefore I wanted to make sure my old friend was doing alright. I knew deep down he loved the wild Miltank more than my Cryogonal!

“Cryogonal,” Chris waved towards his Pokemon. “Be careful this time, I know you can do this.”

That sudden pipe of encouragement probably seemed bizarre, but who cares? Cryogonal clearly appreciated it and nodded its otherwise rigid head. He ordered his Pokemon to use Recover again, and a Bind after that. I started to wonder how is it even humanly, or 'Pokemonly" possible that a Cryogonal could use Bind. It was equivalent to asking a pig to fly.

“Hey Ataro, are you enjoying the run?” Chris asked abruptly.

"Well I'm alright I guess, but I'm hoping I would get paid more," I said. I am such a money-grubber.

Meanwhile, Cryogonal had already started glowing in glitters of emerald green, healing the wounds and cuts that was on its body. Miltank clearly was not going to sit and watch. She sped up towards Cryogonal with even more force and at a faster speed as well, attempting to try for a second Rollout. Just at the critical moment, when Cryogonal was about to get hit, Miltank skidded away in the other direction instead. The Rollout had clearly missed by several inches, and Cryogonal was left completely intact.

Immediately, Cryogonal jumped forward and skated on the ice to perform its Bind attack. In a relatively fast motion, it somehow expanded the multiple layers of shells or casing in its body and they enlarged just huge enough to encase half of Miltank's body within Cryogonal's shell. At the same time, Miltank's body becomes outlined in a white flash continually as she started to whimper from the pain of the attack.

"Looks like she is enduring your attacks..."

The reflective creature, known as Cryogonal was preparing its Bind attack, which I asked it to use against the Miltank. My Ranger looked confused on how such mirror-like features could bind a Pokemon with a physical string. Cryogonal hovered elegantly through the air and prepared to attack. There was only so much my icy mirror could use; it was limited to attacks as it is. Bind was to hold the Miltank in place, and therefore slow or stop Rollout from damaging so much. Similarly, cancelling the attack out completely, only if it was possible. However, I commanded my creature to use Recover first, to heal some wounds. I did not want any of my team to faint whilst in the Botanical Garden. My Ice-Type Pokemon was ready to attack and did so. I watched as my Pokemon glowed in emerald-like glitter. Most of its wounds and cuts on its frozen, glass like body
    disappeared.

Suddenly, I noticed that Miltank had planned not to watch, and sped up towards Cryogonal. It rolled and rolled, then even more quickly. My Cryogonal turned to Miltank just as the Rollout attack was about to hit and then fortunately for us, the dumb cow skidded the wrong way. Luckily, my Pokemon was unscratched by that miserable pink cow. I looked over and grinned at Miltank, and laughed. Miltank did not being laughed at, and so be it.
Cryogonal then saw an opening, it lunged forward through the atmosphere and I watched as it skidded across the ice like an elegant Ice Skater performing a dance routine! Cryogonal’s outer layer of its light-blue body was disconnected like a shell and encased around Miltank’s body. I thought it was a bit creepy to watch, but I felt it was necessary, to Bind the target. The moo cow was caught in the bind, and worked. I noticed that she was illuminating in a white aura, and I heard her whimper too.

“That looks like Bind,” I said to myself. “Cryogonal carry on using Bind.” Cryogonal nodded and prepared its mind to constrict the bind even harder. I knew this was harsh, but I needed her health down.

“Looks like she is enduring your attacks…” Ataro said to me and advised. I know Miltank has Thick Fat, but perhaps a powerful Ice Beam would do the trick! I know earliar it did not do so much damage, but perhaps that was because of the strong, strong sunlight from before. I know it was risky but I needed her health down so I could attempt to capture her!

“Cryogonal, make sure after you have Binded to use ICE BEAM,” I shouted. “Then, if you see any signs of that cow unleashed a strong energy, use Protect! I do not want you being Knocked Out now!” I said again Cryogonal nodded and prepared to perform. Bide was such a tricky move to counter, however I really hoped my Protect would work! Most trainers I know would use Stat Up moves against a Miltank, the only problem was Cryogonal only had Iron Defense, and Sharpen. Both of these techniques take a lot of usage to work effectively.

“Cryogonal, make sure after you have Binded to use ICE BEAM,” Chris shouted. “Then, if you see any signs of that cow unleashed a strong energy, use Protect! I do not want you being Knocked Out now!”

The Cryogonal did a final squeeze with its shell before letting go of Miltank, and followed up with a powerful Ice Beam immediately. The Pokemon seemed to have listened to its trainer and performed a particularly direct hit Ice Beam, striking Miltank right in the neck. Pokemon usually tend to give it their all if specifically requested or cheered on by their trainers, and I was not surprised that Cryogonal has put even more strength on the Ice Beam this time round.

Cryogonal started to pant a little bit, it did took her much more effort and strength to perform a full power attack, but it didn't matter. Miltank was still glowing in a white flash, and continued to endure the attack with Bide. The flash was starting to flicker though, and I knew that it was not belong long until Miltank released the built-up damage. Your Pokemon took advantage of the situation and decided not to use Protect, and took the precious time to regain some momentum instead.

I waited patiently in tranquil gardens for my Cryogonal to Bind harder and use Ice Beam. Cryogonal’s aura of bind squeezed tightly of the pink cow hard. Then, I watched a cold long beam of ice materialise in the direction of Miltank. It struck it right in the neck. I was happy that my mirror creature was putting in lots of effort!

Cryogonal was panting and all I wanted to do was give it a hug for a job well done. I noticed Miltank was still glowing and that it was biding its time even more. Therefore, Cryogonal regained momentum in levitation compared to using Protect. This was fine, because it saved energy usage. Perhaps I needed to capture before it released its energy on my Pokemon.

“Cryogonal, use a small Icy Wind, but do not be too forceful,” I said. “I will attempt to throw the Super Ball, and if it fails, I want you to use Protect against the unleashed energy. Stay focused now.” Cryogonal understood, and I waited for the right moment to throw the Super Ball. I reached into my pocket and got it out, it was all or nothing.

“Cryogonal, use a small Icy Wind, but do not be too forceful,” Chris said. “I will attempt to throw the Super Ball, and if it fails, I want you to use Protect against the unleashed energy. Stay focused now.”

Cryogonal nodded its head and quickly released a small blast of cold wind towards Miltank. The Icy Wind not only dealt damage to Miltank, but had the secondary effect of lowering the foe's speed as well.

After the damage was done, Chris followed up promptly by throwing a Super Ball towards the Miltank, but it had barely consumed Miltank less than a second before releasing it back out. Miltank did not seemed to be weakened enough for the capture to be successful. The Super Ball returned automatically back towards Chris, and I considered him to be lucky this time, since it was not always that a ball would return unbroken and reusable again.

I observed as Miltank started to move more sluggishly, but it was moving nonetheless. The flickering happened at a very fast frequency now and she then released the huge burst of built-up energy and sent it in the form of a giant beam towards Cryogonal.

My eyes traced the direction of the beam, and it was soon met with a defensive barrier set up by Cryogonal. The Protect shuddered a bit from the pressure of the attack, and the barrier started to concave a little from the extremely powerful Bide, but Cryogonal was trying to hold it in with all its might. As the Protect started to concave more, the white burst of energy from Bide was starting to grow smaller as well. Just as the Protect barrier completely faded, the Bide had turned into a small orb of energy that still damaged Cryogonal, but the damage was perhaps equivalent to a scratch.

Cryogonal had nodded on my Icy Wind command, and quickly released a cold wind of ice at the cow. Miltank seemed sluggish and took the damage. As my Super ball I tossed consumed the creature… It quickly shafted back out, and Miltank was back out on top. The super ball landed back into my hands and I was lucky to have it unbroken.

“Oh DARN,” I said with a stroppy tone. “Never mind, we will try again.” I watched as Miltank blasted a bust of yellow lighted energy in the direction of my Pokemon. It was the release of bide, and it was not going to be stopped easily. Fortunately, Cryogonal reacted quickly and focused its eyes on a massive barrier, which materialised with a purple-yellow light. It defended like a concave from the barrier. Suddenly, after the barrier had ended a small orb hit my icy mirror, but leaving a small scratch!

“Not bad, “ I said examining the scratch. “Cryogonal try one more Icy Wind again! Then, I will throw the Super Ball ONCE MORE. I readied the ball in my hand to launch it at Miltank. I hoped for the best.

“Oh DARN,” Chris said. I wasn't sure if I had heard a tinge of disappointment in his voice. I felt bad for my good friend though. “Never mind, we will try again.”

After examining Miltank's scratches, he decided to call for another Icy Wind. Cryogonal blew another gust of cold wind towards the Miltank, lowering her speed even more. He then tried another capture with the same Super Ball. As the ball flung open and consumed Miltank within the sphere once more, it shook once, twice, and briefly vibrated for a while ... and success! I can't help but heaved a breathe of relief. That Miltank was definitely annoying to catch.

I went over and picked up the Super Ball to keep it together with the Maractus that Chris had captured earlier. The Glameow purred a little cowardly unlike before, but still walked up to us. "I doubt you'd want the Glameow?" I asked.

I wasn't sure if Chris was still up to walk a little further, or whether the battle with Miltank had left him exhausted.

Cryogonal’s Ice Wind had buffeted the cow once more making her even slower. My Super ball flung open and a crimson light retrieved her inside. It landed to the grassy ground and rolled once, twice… DING.

“Yes, finally, you are mine!” I shouted as I watched the ball tightly shut. Cryogonal danced around in a circle was happy too.
Ataro walked over slowly to the Super Ball and kept it together with Maractus previously I had captured. The Glameow from earlier purred a little cowardly at me. “I doubt you’d want the Glameow?” He asked me.

“I would like to pass here,” I said. “If we cannot walk away, I will attempt to use a Pokedoll.” I prepared my Pokedollars to Ataro. (After Mart Purchase) $3750 - 500

“I would like to pass here,” Chris said. “If we cannot walk away, I will attempt to use a Pokedoll.”

I nodded my head to acknowledge what he has said. But the PokeDoll was not necessary, for the Glameow had promptly started crying and ran away instead. It was probably scared of Cryogonal now.

Right after Glameow had gone off, another Pokemon came running to us. This was never-ending. This time, it was a Furret that had appeared and it was wagging its tail at us playfully. "They just seem to keep coming nonstop. Want a Furret?" I said, as I sat myself down on the comfortable grass on the fields. I could tell this was going to go on for a while.

Ataro acknowledged that I wanted to pass on Glameow. It started to run away crying, I did kind of feel bad. However, it cannot be helped. Perhaps my cool Cryogonal scared it away?

Suddenly, I noticed a little brown Pokemon run towards me. It wagged its tail in front of us. Ataro said. “They just seem to keep coming nonstop. Want a Furret?” He said. He sat down on the grass on the field.

“Hmm, let’s move on too,” I said. “I’ll ready $500 Dollars just in case. “ I readied my money, and wanted to walk on.

“Hmm, let’s move on too,” Chris said. “I’ll ready $500 Dollars just in case.”

"Hah, looks like that is not necessary," I remarked, as the Furret had skipped along after Chris had expressed his non-interest. I started to think about the right choice I've made in sitting down, because there was yet another Pokemon that had came along. This time, it was a Flying-type.

The Jumpluff flew down from one of the taller fields in the north area, and gently rested on the ground as if to greet us. It sure seemed gentle enough. "Would you perhaps want a Jumpluff?

As I grabbed my Pokedollars my Ranger said.

“Hah, looks like that is not necessary,” He said. Furret had skip along away from me with non interest. Ataro sat down for some reason. Then, suddenly a purple puffball Pokemon appeared. It flew down to the ground, and greeted us.

“Would you perhaps want a Jumpluff?” He asked. My eyes turned down for a moment, we are not finding many Pokemon I want yet. Perhaps its the way the ball rolls.

“Nope, let’s keep moving,” I said, and readied my Pokedollars in case I needed another doll. “I got my money ready just in case."

“Nope, let’s keep moving,” Chris said, and readied his Pokedollars again. “I got my money ready just in case."

The Jumpluff started to turn angry instead and started vibrating. It seemed to be preparing to release some spores, and Chris quickly threw his PokeDoll forward. Luckily, the Jumpluff was instantly distracted and took the PokeDoll and flew away. If it had managed to disperse the spores, it sure would be annoying to deal with.

"Oh now what," I said, as a small egg-like Pokemon appeared. It was a Togepi. "Do you want the Togepi?"

As I paid for the Pokedoll and threw it away. Jumpluff puffed away and headed towards it in a different direction. Luckily for us, it was quickly off after the doll. Suddenly, I turned forward and noticed a small, egg –like Pokemon arrive upon us.

“Oh now what,” Ataro said. “Do you want the Togepi?” I laughed to myself, and thought no.

“Come on guys let go,” I said. I also readied my money once more in case we could not escape. “Here’s money just in case I gotta pay for a Pokedoll. “ Cryogonal was staring at Ataro’s Happiny, such cuteness to see.

Chris laughed briefly before answering with a negative. "Come on guys let go. Here's money just in case I gotta pay for a Pokedoll."

The Togepi was not going to take no for an answer, it started crying nonstop being the nuisance it was, right in front of us. Chris quickly threw the PokeDoll that I have just gave him, and that seemed to shut it up. Apparently.

The Togepi took the PokeDoll and stopped crying, stood up, and stood beside us. We were confused for a while, until the next Pokemon appeared. Togetic, the evolution of Togepi, was definitely not happy with us. It seemed ready for a battle in fact. Let's just hope that if Chris was not going to be interested in the Togetic, it would just get out of our sight without being a nuisance like Togepi was.

"Interested in the Togetic?" I quickly asked - I had almost forgotten to pop the question.

I had to pay for my Pokedoll as Togepi was not going to take no for an answer. I quickly threw the doll and seemed to shut it up. We need to get through the run for better captures! Howeverm the small Togepi stood next to us with the doll. Suddenly, a Togetic appeared. I was kind of surprised to see both the evolution here.

“You look miserable,” I said to Togetic. Togetic looked mean and wanted to battle.

“Interested in the Togetic?” Ataro asked me with a confused look. I smiled.

“Of course not,” I replied. “I will use a doll if we cannot escape so easily. I have my Pokedollars ready just in case!”

Just as I had expected, the Togetic was not going to let us pass easily. It was ready to execute a move, but luckily Chris had quickly threw the PokeDoll he had just purchased from me. After the doll was thrown forward, the Togetic picked it up with a smirk and scurried off with the Togepi.

The next encounter had taken us aback a bit. It appeared to be an extremely rare legendary Pokemon, that goes by the name of 'Virizion'. "That's too bad, I guess. If you have a Digital Camera, you can actually take a snapshot of Virizion and sell the picture to the collectors for some cash later on, but we can't do much now, except wait for it to move on," I said.

As I placed my money in my hand in case we could not escape from Togetic, the small fairy would not let us get away. Togetic smirked as I quickly tossed the Pokedoll away from me. I watched as it scurried away from me us in the direction of the baby Togepi.

Suddenly, a wild Legendary Pokemon appeared in front of us. It was a Virizion, I had never seen such elegance in a Pokemon before. “That’s too bad, I guess. If you have a Digital Camera, you can actually take a snapshot of Virizion and sell the picture to the collectors for some cash later on, but we can’t do much now, except wait for it to move on.” Ataro said, and explained.

“Nevermind, my eyes will be the camera lens,” I said. “I am so amazed I got to see Virizion in my lifetime. Let’s continue.”
