OOC: By the way, you can describe your own attacks. In fact, you're encouraged to. While you cannot decide whether the attack hits, you can describe how the attack looks like and all those stuff and end with something like "and I watched to see whether if it will connect". Or you can just describe stuff like (after you asked Sealeo to use Snore), "Sealeo obeyed my command and started to blah blah blah blah blah. The deafening snore, which sounded more like a scream was echoed from Sealeo, as he continued to open his mouth wide and blah blah blah. If you do that, you can get more points and your RP will also be better.

    "Winston, Snore!"

This was a bit boring. Though, I know it wasn't really Daniel's fault, since that was all he could do while Sealeo is asleep. Like before, the Sealeo opened his mouth again to let out that deafening snore, which sounded way more like a scream. I covered my ears to try and cushion out some of the noise for a second time.

However, I knew that in such battles, using repeated moves with no improvisation or whatsoever won't produce good results, because the opponent would have already recognized your pattern of attacks. That would have made you extremely predictable instead. The Skitty was already running at the same time that Sealeo had started to emit the Snore, and felt the effect of that Snore. As if she had already got used to that ear-piercing sound, she continued to push herself forward, regardless of the Snore.

When she got close enough, she took a 180 degrees turn and faced her back towards the Sealeo, raising her paw-like tail up. With a vigorous sweep of motion, she slapped the Sealeo in the face forcefully a few times, as the thick fats contained within the Sealeo vibrated each time it took a hit. When she was done, she backed off to her original position defensively, while still continuing to pant heavily.

To my surprise, the Sealeo woke up at this time and felt the sudden cringe of pain on his face, still not knowing what happened. The attack that the Skitty did must have been Wake-Up Slap. Although Skitty look really tired, Sealeo looked even more exhausted as he struggled to support his own weight and tried his best to continue battling. I looked at Daniel and his Sealeo, hoping they would be able to improvise a little with their attacks, so that it would be more unpredictable and it might allow his Pokemon to lessen the damage taken in certain situations.

Meanwhile, Skitty had started to move again. It seemed like she was running out of energy to think properly as compared to her previous battle performance, for she used a simple attack this time. The Skitty charged towards the Sealeo, and was going to go in for a Tackle once she was close enough.

"Looks like she's finally doing a straightforward attack; Tackle. This might be your chance to weaken it once and for all, while still not allowing your Sealeo to take a hit!"

ooc: oh right I didn't know that, thanks

Winston let out the snore to the best ability he could but sadly the Skitty knew that was coming and continued on course as normal, she approached the sleeping pile of blubber and struck Winston with her tails with such force that he had awoken, it must've been a wake up slap, at this point I didn't know whether the skitty wanted a proper fight from Winston or if it just wanted him to wake up feel the pain he was in.

I looked over to Winston and realised he looked tired but luckily so did the skitty as instead of complex combos she resorted to use a basic tackle

"Looks like she's finally doing a straightforward attack; Tackle. This might be your chance to weaken it once and for all, while still not allowing your Sealeo to take a hit!" Ataro called to me

I realised Winston had little energy left, so I decided to switch out for Holden.

"Holden, come out and finish this". the fire canine escaped the confines of his pokeball in mid air and landed in front of Winston, "stop this kitty with a light bite"

as the skitty continued charging Holden stood there mouth ajar waiting for it

"Holden, come out and finish this," Daniel said, as he threw out his Arcanine's Pokeball while retrieving back his Sealeo. "Stop this kitty with a light Bite!"

Hearing his trainer's command, the Arcanine stood there and opened his mouth wide, as if waiting for his prey to deliver herself up. The Skitty though, didn't try anything else and still went with her Tackle. I wasn't sure if it was just her spunky attitude that made her stubborn to bow down to the Arcanine, or was it simply because she was too tired to suddenly maneuver away from a Tackle, but she continued charging towards the canine Pokemon. Just when she was about to make contact, she jumped up and slammed herself towards her opponent, but the Arcanine simply clapped his jaws at the exact time when Skitty used Tackle on him.

Ouch... I thought, as I watched the huge white teeth that gleamed and shined, bite down hard on the vulnerable Skitty. In fact, the Skitty was stopped before she could even do a proper Tackle on the Arcanine, thanks to the accurate Bite attack which rendered Skitty's Tackle useless, since it never ever made contact with Arcanine except for the canine's teeth. I examined the Skitty's expression; she was really just struggling on bare ends, as she tried so hard to even breathe.

The Arcanine, sensing that he has dealt enough damage, let loose of the Skitty and returned to his trainer's side, walking away with his head lifted up high, marking his confidence and dominance to others. Meanwhile, though the Skitty had put up a great fight to the end and proved really spunky at points, she was just laying there motionless now, too exhausted to even move, much less attack.

"Go for it!" I encouraged Daniel, starting to feel excited myself for my trainer, since it was his first capture after all.

The attack had struck, The skitty was beaten, a look over to her showed she had no strength left, if i was going to catch it now would be the time. Holden strided up beside me in a way that portrays his authority at best.

"Go for it!" Ataro called out to me from behind, having an experienced ranger tell me to go for it asserted my intentions to catch it.

i reached into my back pocket and pulled out a parkball; with one throw the sphere had begun it's path towards the exhausted skitty

My trainer reached into his back pocket and pulled out a Parkball. With a quick throw, the capture device landed on the Skitty and opened up once it made contact with the Skitty's body. The red light emitted as usual, and sucked the Pokemon into the sphere. The Parkball wiggled gently a few times, and locked in decisively.

Hmmm... That looked like a definite capture, the wild Pokemon didn't even put up a struggle to try and escape the ball. I knew that part of the success was because of the very low health that Skitty was at before she was being captured, but also because Pokemon like Skitty are generally easier to capture. I've even seen in some cases where a trainer might be doing quite badly, that it even affects the chances of a successful capture. I'd suppose that the wild Pokemon do have these sort of special feelings that let them decide if they should follow a specific trainer and be captured, in which this case, the Skitty had felt that Daniel was a good trainer.

I walked forward and picked up the Parkball for Daniel, and passed it back to him. "Congrats! That was a very good capture." Just as Daniel held the Parkball that Skitty was contained inside, we were interrupted by yet another familiar purr. ... Please don't tell me it's another Skitty.

I turned around slowly, and there stood a furious-looking Pokemon. It was another feline Pokemon, but bigger-sized than Skitty. Also, Skitty was mostly pink in color, but this Pokemon was mostly purple in color. It crouched down at us, and gnarled angrily and loudly at Daniel.

"Argh. It's a Delcatty. I'd assume it's probably angry at us for capturing Skitty. I doubt you'd want it since you already captured Skitty? We can try to run if you don't want it..." I told Daniel, while still keeping my eyes on the Delcatty. Normally a gentle and docile Pokemon, it had gotten quite rough and temperamental surprisingly. The only reason possible for that was probably because Skitty might be its very close friend or family perhaps.

OOC: i have 3600, minus the pokedoll i have 3100

The red light had enshrouded the Skitty and soon she was dragged into the device, as I watched the ball shake I would of been surprised if the ball hadn’t captured as the Skitty had shown little resistance before. It was a capture, my first one, needless to say I was quite happy that my first capture was a Skitty a very useful pokemon. Ataro walked over to the ball and handed it over to me.

“Congrats! That was a very good capture” Ataro said in a praising manner. As I stood there admiring my newly caught feline I was alerted by Ataro slowly turning cautiously as well as a slight growl from Holden. I turned around to see what the fuss was only to see a larger feline getting angry at us.

"Argh. It's a Delcatty. I'd assume it's probably angry at us for capturing Skitty. I doubt you'd want it since you already captured Skitty? We can try to run if you don't want it..." Ataro was right I’m not really interested in it as I just caught the pre-evolved form of her, so there was no point

“I’d like to buy a Pokedoll please if thats alright”

OOC: Feel free to go ahead and go to certain areas (closer to any specific bunch of honey trees/lakes) in order to spot other wild Pokemon. While you cannot initiate a Pokemon battle (and thus identify what Pokemon it is), you can spot a Pokemon by saying stuff like you see something moving in the bushes/etc. and stuff like that, in order to move the RP at a faster rate and also have more things to RP about.

"Sure," I replied, and reached for the Pokedoll in my messenger bag. I helped Daniel to throw the Pokedoll onto the ground and gestured for him to run. Once the Pokedoll had touched the ground, the Delcatty pounced onto the doll object and ripped it apart furiously with her teeth. She was concentrating so much on the Pokedoll that she didn't even notice us running away.

After a very short run, we had got out of the tall grass area and were greeted by the beautiful sight of lakes that were littered with honey trees by the side. The gorgeous scenery of the crystal clear ponds with the glistening orange honey trees gave me a soothing and calm feeling, and it was only topped up with the delicious aroma of honey lingering in the honey trees nearby.

We walked up to the pond nearest to us. There weren't any Pokemon swimming in it however; they were probably hiding from us within some hidden areas in the lake that we couldn't see. Suddenly, a ripple appeared in the middle of the lake, and created a blue aura surrounding that ripple. A form started to take shape on top of the lake and the original blue light was starting to get covered by another pink light that was emitting from the shape of that creature.

I took a huge gasp when the Pokemon had finally took shape completely. It floated above the lake, and let out a gentle cry while smiling at us. "Oh my gosh, it's a Mew! A legendary Pokemon!" I exclaimed towards Daniel, hoping he would be as excited as me, although there isn't nothing much truthfully. "Unfortunately, you can't capture legendary Pokemon. However, you can take pictures of it to exchange it for cash value with our special camera, which you didn't purchase. At least this was a good experience!" I comforted him.

“sure” Ataro said while reaching for the bag slung round his shoulder, the pokedolll had landed right in front of the Delcatty, which instead of admiring or playing playing with the doll like any other pokemon had viciously attacked it, the fury it took out on the doll was mesmerising, I wouldn’t of remembered to run if it were not for Ataro signalling for me to do it.
We left the tall grass right next to the lake and honey trees, the smell that wafted through the air was almost euphoric and, looking down to Holden, I could see he was enjoying the sweet smell as well even if not more so considering his enhanced canine senses. We strolled up to the lakeside which was surprisingly clear with no pokemon in sight, probably hiding. We were going to retreat from the lakeside until movement came from the water surface caused by a blue aura forming above. Soon the manifestation adopted a pink light that formed a shape of a creature.

“oh my gosh, it’s a mew! A legendary pokemon” Ataro shouted out in excitement, although I had reacted differently, I was almost star struck, seeing a legendary pokemon for my first park run, just seeing it smile at us was an experience.

"Unfortunately, you can't capture legendary Pokemon.” Ataro said, in a way I knew this but hearing it still didn’t make it less disappointing. “Still however, you can take pictures of it to exchange it for cash value with our special camera, which you didn't purchase. At least this was a good experience” maybe next time I’ll remember a camera.

As quickly as it came the rodent like deity transformed into a blue aura and returned to the depths of the lake. I looked around contemplating where to go next further along the lakeside or closer to the honey trees. As I thought about plans, I remembered Winston and how he was injured in the last battle.

“I’d like to stop for a while if that’s alright” in saying this I reached into the bag on my back and pulled out one of my two super potions for Winston once the potion was out I released Winston in front of me. The walrus-like pokemon clearly looked injured, scrapes and bruises covered the whole of his body, I bent down to His level and sprayed the potion on the injuries.

“sorry about this buddy, I thought that was going to work back there” once the bottle had been depleted he let out a growl of appreciation and I knew he was feeling a little better. On my way up from the ground I noticed Holden admiring the scent in the air again and that convinced me of where we were going next.

“I’d like to go further towards the honey trees please” I said as I brought Winston back into his pokeball and brushing the dirt I may have gathered from the ground of my knees

After a while, the Mew transformed into a blue aura again and returned to the depths of the lakes. Daniel looked around the huge area, probably thinking where should he explore next, along the lakes or towards the clutters of honey trees. I looked at Scizor and asked him if he was tired while waiting for Daniel, since after all, we had walked a long way. Though, he simply shook his head, telling me that he was okay.

"I'd like to stop for a while if that's alright," I figured it was more of him letting me know than a question, for he quickly stopped and reached for something in his backpack. Still, I didn't have any problem with him wanting to take a break. My guess was that he wanted to heal his Sealeo with some potions, since Sealeo was had taken a lot of damage from the fight with Skitty.

Just as I thought, he pulled out a Super Potion and released his Sealeo within the confines of the Pokeball. When Sealeo came out, although he didn't look as terrible as before, he was still struggling to support himself while taking huge gasps of breaths. Daniel proceeded to kneel down and comforted the Sealeo while pressing the hinge on the Super Potion at the same time. He continued to spoke to the Sealeo, as if he knew how the stinging feeling of the Super Potion would hurt so he was trying to distract and comfort his Pokemon.

Once the Super Potion was depleted, the Sealeo took a huge heave of relief and wasn't looking as tensed up and tired as before. It seemed that once he got healthy again, he started to get hungry as well, as he took a sniff in the direction of the honey trees and expressed excitement. That seemed to convinced his trainer, for Daniel told me that he wanted to explore the honey trees area first. I led him towards the lingering aroma as he kept his Sealeo, while still keeping Arcanine by his side.

The trees were shaped like pine trees, except all of them were of a golden orange color miraculously. I assumed it just looked strange for a tree to not be of green color. Though, it was probably because of the honey that the tree produces, and also because of the special honey that trainers sometime apply on the tree to attract certain Pokemon. We were about to walk deeper into the bigger clutter of honey trees ahead of us, when we were interrupted by two Pokemon suddenly.

"Daniel, stand back!" I shouted, as I quickly stepped back too. Luckily we did, because the Vespiqueen almost managed to hit us with her sting.

This would be interesting, since double battles aren't common. It seems like the Combee was her offspring, as the Vespiqueen hovered protectively in front of her Combee, although the Combee kept wanting to take the front line as its mother as well. The bee-like Pokemon that looked like she was wearing some kind of gown had honeycomb-like cells on her underside, and she stared angrily at us with her intimidating crimson red eyes. Meanwhile, the Combee had a completely different expression.

Although in terms of appearance, it looked similar to its mother, except that it simply looked like a hexagonal honeycomb stuck together. Unlike her mother however, all three honeycomb portion of the Combee were smiling at us, with the bottom one being especially excited. It seemed as if it was curious and wanted to get closer to us, but its mother was being very protective of it and thought we wanted to hurt her offspring. Regardless, it looked like both were asking for a fight, although Vespiqueen was doing it to protect her child, while the Combee was excited to have a battle with us.

"It seems like we've got ourselves a double battle. I'm not sure if you want them, but if you really do want any of them, you'd have to make both of them really weak in order to have a successful capture with any of the Pokemon. If you don't want though, we can either try to run away from them or you can purchase two Pokedolls." I explained to Daniel, not really sure myself if he was interested in Combee, Vespiqueen, or not at all.

Ataro continued walking on towards the honey trees in compliance with my request. The bunch of trees created an impressive Golden horizon, coated in several layers of sweet honey. As we got closer to the trees the scent became impossible to ignore causing me to take deep breathes in and out while enjoying the smell.

“Daniel, Stand back!” Ataro called out placing his hand out across my chest and pulling me back, at first I was unsure of the situation as all my concentration had gone to my nose, it was only when a flash of black and yellow had blurred my gaze.
It was a vespiquen and a combee, in a way I was half expecting to come across these guys and I had contemplated the capture of one, but then again I wasn’t expecting a double battle at all. And I pondered on the thought whether or not Winston was up to the task of a two on two even after healing. Although Winstons capabilities were not the only things clouding my judgment, these came as a pair which means they are most likely family, and since I don’t have the need to capture both and I wasn’t going to split them up I decided to pass the opportunity up.

    ---

Daniel contemplated for a while, before reaching into his pocket again. "I'd like to buy two Pokedolls please," he said, and handed me the money for the Pokedolls.

"Sure," I replied, and took out two Pokedolls and gave them to him. He took it and threw it on the ground and like before, the Combee and Vespiqueen got distracted almost immediately and flew down to inspect the Pokedoll. "Let's go," I commented, and led the way past them, heading for the bigger clutter of honey trees ahead.

Suddenly, the trees on my left were cleared and a small lake was revealed. I had either forgotten about this part of the area, or they had added it in only recently. There wasn't anything really special or different from the other lakes, just that it was smaller and it provided a different view from the current area, since it was just honey trees everywhere, and I was almost numb to that golden yellow color already. However, something hit me and I decided to lead Daniel towards the lake.

Of course, an area with honey trees would attract Pokemon that might like the flavor of the honey or live close to it naturally, like the Combee and Vespiqueen. But in the case of a lake, it also means we might encounter Pokemon that prefer staying closer to the waters. We stood at the edge of the lake, and there were just nothing. I looked in the lake and it was clear enough for me to see my complete reflection.

"What the ..." I exclaimed, as I pointed towards the odd reflection between Daniel and me. The reflection was obviously not our Pokemon, because it had a mantis-shrimp-like head, with two eyes that extend from the sides of its head. I turned around quickly, while taking extra care not to fall into the lakes at the same time. Once me and Daniel had turned around, the Armaldo continued looking at us, as if it was studying us instead. It didn't look like a rampaging nor violent Pokemon, so Scizor didn't try to fight it off.

It was an Armaldo, and it looked rather scary and fierce, with its heavy duty plates acting as armors, and also the pair of segmented blade-like arms that protruded from his front. Although it looked dangerous, the Armaldo seemed to notice that we were not having enough space and quickly took a few steps back to give us more space. It continued to do nothing though, except just studying at us, as if it was trying to figure out what we are or what we are doing.

"Do you want the Armaldo?" I asked Daniel.

We continued walking through the cluster of honey trees until we were clear and opening up into a small lake just to the left of us. At seeing this pond Ataro led us over to it for further investigation, this was something that made me slightly excited as due to the closeness of the lake to the honey trees we will probably encounter a pokemon that enjoys the scent of honey and enjoys the water, basically a best of both options situation. Peering into the lake and observing both mine and Ataros reflection I saw a slight...oddity.

“What the...” Ataro jumped back in surprise after noticing the unknown reflection, both Holden and Ataros Scizor had not reacted at the Armaldo probably sensing the Armaldos intentions of not meaning us harm.

“Do you want the Armaldo?” Ataro asked me
My answer was already decided, a pokemon of this rarity would be a pokemon of high difficulty to capture, and I hadn’t come to the park prepared for a battle of this calibre.

“No, I would like to buy another Pokedoll please” hoping that the Armaldo would take the bait.

    OOC: my total money = 6,600 - 6,100, also shouldn't Sealeos health be 68%?

Once I finished my sentence, Daniel quickly replied 'no' and asked to purchase another Pokedoll. Although it seemed really weird for a trainer to keep buying Pokedolls to escape Pokemon, that's just the way it works in the Park. The Pokedoll will almost always, or at least it has never failed before, help you escape from a wild Pokemon. I passed him the Pokedoll and he threw it towards the Armaldo like before, whom eyes that was focused on us originally turned its focus to the Pokedoll on the ground instead.

I was feeling a little bad, guilty and upset that my trainer didn't meet any Pokemon he liked and captured, other than the Skitty. I knew we were approaching the end of the Park soon, I had only hoped he would find some more Pokemon that he was interested in as well. There was nothing else here other than the Armaldo, whom was still inspecting the Pokedoll curiously.

"Well, let's move on," I said, and led the way back into the clutter of honey trees. While walking, I noticed that the smell of honey was not as strong as before, there were lesser trees than before as well. We were probably reaching the end of the honey tree areas. Once we're out of here, we can continue onto the last part of this route - the Flower Gardens.

We had almost reached the end now, as I saw the last honey tree in this area. Looking more closely, I then noticed the Zigzagoon licking off the honey from the tree hungrily. It turned around to face us upon sensing our presence, and remained motionless - it was probably waiting for our reaction. I looked at the Zigzagoon that had its face smeared with honey messily all over, and back to Daniel.

"Do you want that Pokemon with a voracious appetite?" I asked Daniel again.

The Pokedoll landed in front of the Armaldo averting it’s gaze from us.

“well let’s move on” Ataro said while walking towards the Clutter of honey trees, the smell around us wasn’t as pungent as it was when we came through the last group of honey trees. At this point I had only assumed it was because we were nearing the end of our excursion and we were getting closer to the exit.

We were nearing the last few honey trees and through the flora I could see a bright horizon littered with an assortment of flowers, we must be heading towards the flower gardens that Ataro had mentioned earlier. As we continued on towards the flower gardens I could see that the last few honey trees weren’t as golden as the others as if they were forgotten by the trainers that had smeared the trees with honey, it soon became apparent that this was not the case... nestled below a tree in front of us was a zigzagoon, that had obviously just had a feast on these nearby trees, due to it’s shield of honey covering its fur. It turned to face us and just stared at us making no noticeable reaction.

“Do you want that Pokemon with a voracious appetite” Ataro asked me. At this question I remembered all the other pokemon that I had delude with pokedolls and felt kind of annoyed that I had only caught the one pokemon so I decided to claim this one as my own.

“Holden up front, lets start with a flame thrower” Holden jumped to my side and inhaled the honey tinged air only to release it as a threatening tail of flame aimed towards the zigzagoon. I watched the zigzagoon excited to see how it reacted to this situation and prove it’s worth.

"Holden up front, let's start with a Flamethrower!"

Daniel replied me by commanding his Arcanine to quickly strike the opponent with a Flamethrower attack. Immediately after its trainer command, the canine-like Pokemon jumped to its trainer side and inhaled in a huge take of breath, and blasted its stream of burning fire that was aimed for the Zigzagoon.

The Zigzagoon was obviously taken aback and scared. It started to move backwards a little while still facing the fire, as if it was hesitating what to do. I supposed it had not expected to get into a fierce battle with an intimidating Pokemon like Arcanine while having its afternoon snack. In the face of the Flamethrower, the raccoon-like Pokemon suddenly jumped out of the way just in time, although I could see that the ends of its tail was a bit charred still. However, this wasn't good at all for Daniel. Oh no...

I watched on fearfully and was starting to worry, as the situation that I had feared had truly happened. The searing flames blasted onto the tree that was originally behind Zigzagoon. The Flamethrower was aimed for Zigzagoon, but since Zigzagoon dodged at the last moment, the Flamethrower smashed into the tree instead since the raccoon-like Pokemon was no longer standing there to take the hit. I noticed Arcanine quickly stopped its attack once it noticed what was going on, but the Flamethrower was already produced. The honey immediately melted, and the tree was set in a blazing torch of fire. The flames striked the bark of the tree first, but quickly spread its way up to the branches and the orange leaves. The sunny weather had only seemed to worsen the situation as it powered up the fire even more and made it spread even faster.

Suddenly, I turned my focus towards the Zigzagoon, as I noticed it came dashing in towards Daniel's Arcanine. In fact, the trepidation and nervousness that was originally visible on the Zigzagoon's face was no longer there. Instead, I could only see anger. The only reason that I could really think of was that it was mad that Arcanine burned down its honey tree and thus, the honey that it was snacking on. Suddenly, the Zigzagoon almost disappeared from my sight, and all that was left was a blinding blur of white dust in its tracks, while a figure engulfed in a white aura came charging at an invincible speed towards Arcanine.

Unfortunately, I knew that Daniel could get in a really sticky situation if he didn't try and resolve the disaster that he created. I wanted to step in and help, but I knew that wasn't allowed either unless it was truly a last resort and desperate measure. But then again, at the same time, the Zigzagoon is charging straight towards Arcanine with an Extremespeed, leaving Arcanine with almost no time to react. Daniel would have to either choose to battle the Zigzagoon and let the tree continue burning first, perhaps hoping that the fire wouldn't spread, or put out the fire first and allow Zigzagoon to take whatever hits the Zigzagoon might deliver, or whatever possibility there is other than these.

The Zigzagoon suddenly adopted a look of fear, obviously startled by sudden attack, staring warily at the flame coming towards him. However the zigzagoon was fast, and had jumped out of the way of the flame with just a singe, but that wasn’t the worst of it, the tree behind him was struck instead causing it to come up in flames.

The zigzagoon had begun it’s retaliation, and raced towards Holden in a blinding White and it was clear that the Zigzagoon had used Extremspeed.

“Holden, use extremespeed as well but hit the zigzagoon from side on” I called out to the canine hoping that his superior speed would prevail. Holden turned a bright light and head towards the zigzagoon but at an angle

Turning my attention to the flames, I instantly went to my belt and reached for Winston’s pokeball. With a swift throw Winston was out of its pokeball.

“quick Winston shower the tree with a water gun” I called, Winston knowing the immediate danger had complied immediately, using his whiskers he covered his mouth in such a way that when he fired his water gun it created a spray effect on the tree, rather than a jet of water.

"Holden, use Extremespeed as well but hit the Zigzagoon from side on!" Daniel shouted out his command to Arcanine, remaining hopeful of the situation.

Immediately, Arcanine turned into a zap of white flash just like Zigzagoon, and disappeared into a blur of invisible dash. It had almost looked exactly like the Zigzagoon's motion, except Arcanine was much faster. From the execution of the attack to the control of the attack, Arcanine was clearly more superior than Zigzagoon. Like from its trainer command, it zoomed towards Zigzagoon but did a sudden sharp turn to slam Zigzagoon from the side instead. Arcanine managed to avoid getting hit by Zigzagoon's Extremespeed completely, but the raccoon-like Pokemon wasn't so lucky. Baring the full impact of the bigger Pokemon's Extremespeed, Zigzagoon was quickly slammed and flung back upon getting hit by the extremely fast attack.

I turned my focus back onto Daniel to see if he did anything to help solve the situation with the spreading fires. To my surprise, he was already commanding his Sealeo to extinguish the fire with a Water Gun. It made me happy and glad that my trainer managed to divide his attention so quick. The Sealeo opened its mouth to release a jet of water, to which I started to suspect that the power of a Water Gun might not be enough. If it was a leave, it was obviously more than enough, but it was an entire tree in this case.

Suddenly, the Sealeo curled its whiskers just as I happened to have that thought. The whiskers covered its mouth a little but it was already do its effect. The Water Gun that was originally a jet of stream was spread out into a burst, a spray-like effect instead, and was targeting for the tree. The cooling waters made contact with the burning tree and quickly extinguished the flames within seconds, as the spray effect only helped to magnify the effect and target radius of the Water Gun.

With the tree extinguished, Daniel could finally concentrate back onto the battle. I was a little glad as well since I didn't need to worry anymore. The Zigzagoon was still struggling to get up from the impact of that Extremespeed, but before it even got up completely, the Zigzagoon's bristly fur turned into extreme vicious spikes. The Zigzagoon's body started to glow in white light and it releases countless white glowing pins that were fired like rocket missiles in wild and random patterns.

The speed of this attack was even faster, in fact much faster, than that of Extremespeed. I waited to see if Daniel and his Arcanine could pull off anything against that Pin Missile, as the arrow-headed Pin Missiles came flying wildly towards the canine-like Pokemon from almost all direction.

As expected Holdens extremespeed was far more effective than the zigzagoon, by striking from the side on he had avoided the Zigzagoons attack while managing to deal a large amount of damage to Zigzagoon causing it to be knocked to the ground, as it’s body lay there struggling to get up I turned my attention to Winston.
Looking over to Winston I could see that the spray from the water gun had quilted the tree in water, successfully dousing the flames, leaving only a charred trunk in it’s wake. In a way I felt bad that Holdens move had caused the defacement of the tree, I should’ve seen that coming

“Good job, Winston” I said appraisingly, and being returned with a sound of glee, I called him back into his ball, seeing as a 2v1 wouldn’t be fair to the small pokemon

Turning my attention back to zigzagoon and Holden I could see zigzagoon had launched a barrage of spikes in Holdens direction at high speed. It was obviously a pin missile, a bug type move; there was nothing that Holden had that could dodge the move, which was coming in so fast, so I decided to blaze through it.

“Holden, use flame wheel towards zigzagoon, be sure not to Hit anymore trees” as I watched him curl up and launch towards zigzagoon and the pin missile, I hoped that the shield of flame would protect Holden from the oncoming missiles and make contact with zigzagoon on the other side.

"Holden, use Flame Wheel towards Zigzagoon, be sure not to hit anymore trees!"

Upon hearing its trainer's command, the Arcanine fired a shot of fire and quickly curled its body into the fire itself. It had almost resembled a rolling barrel, except it was one that was on feisty fire. The Arcanine sped towards Zigzagoon without fear, as the trail behind it was nothing but a charred trail of burned surface from the Flame Wheel.

Meanwhile, the Pin Missile that were coming from all directions blasted themselves against their target - Arcanine, but were instantly vaporized by the tremendous heat from the Flame Wheel. Zigzagoon on the other hand, was looking scared like before. As if a sudden jolt of encouragement and bravery were showered on it, the Zigzagoon sprang out of its daze and turned around to face its back against Arcanine.

It started kicking its feet against the ground as fast as it could, knocking clumps of mud against the approaching Arcanine. This move had more effect than the earlier Pin Missile, as it penetrated through the 'barrier' that Flame Wheel coincidentally creates, and damaged the Arcanine a little. I wasn't too surprised though, seeing that Pin Missile is a Bug-type move and Mud-Slap is a Ground-type move. In fact, I had seen before Pokemon using Mud-Slap to put out fires. Daniel's Arcanine was obviously stronger than the Zigzagoon, because it continued speeding forward even after the Mud Slap.

Zigzagoon didn't give up however. It continued to do the same move even when Arcanine was going to hit it any time soon. It continued to kick up the pellets of mud that were all slapped onto the Arcanine that looked like a rolling fireball now. At first, it seemed like it had little to none effect thanks to the power level of the Arcanine and the speed and velocity of that Flame Wheel itself. However, on closer inspection, I had noticed that the Arcanine's flame wasn't as powerful and strong as before. When it first started out, the flames were huge and burning fiercely. Though, the flames barely surrounded the body of Arcanine now and the speed of the attack was definitely slower than before.

I watched as the last bit of mud hit Arcanine before the Mud-Slap could no longer be done, as Arcanine came smashing in onto Zigzagoon. The Zigzagoon received the impact of the Flame Wheel from its ends, and was sent flying towards the nearby honey tree. It desperately tried to get back up by struggling with its hind legs, but it remained useless as he kept falling back to the ground. It had obviously taken a huge load of damage but was still able to keep its focus despite the energy level drop.

On the other hand, the Arcanine had returned to its spot in front of its trainer. Although it had no visible wounds or injuries, its fur looked ruffled and dirty as compared to before. Instead of a magnificent milky white, it was more of a dirty brown, probably from the Mud-Slap. On inspecting closer, I also noticed that the Arcanine's left eye was red and swollen. The Mud-Slap attack had probably hit the Arcanine's left eye in the process and on top of the damage received, Arcanine's accuracy might have been affected, which means that its attack was no longer as accurate as before.

"I'm afraid the Mud-Slap had hit your Arcanine in the left eye. While it is still able to battle, it seems like its attacks are no longer as accurate as before..." I explained to Daniel, while the Arcanine continued to stare at the Zigzagoon with its intimidating glare.

as expected the flame wheel had burned though the oncoming missiles, overcoming them by a basic type disadvantage, however as the wheel of flame neared the small pokemon, it had the same realisation. It turned its back towards Holden and started kicking sand in it's face, it was using mud slap. This however had only slowed the oncoming attack as it still made contact and still caused damage to the zigzagoon causing it to be launched towards the nearby honey tree.

as the zigazagoon struggled to right itself Holden returned to my side and instantly I saw something was wrong. The mud slap had inflamed Holdens eye to the point his accuracy was vastly reduced. Knowing that Holden was no longer fit to fight I decided to recall him and put Winston out to finish him.

"Holden stand down" at this command Holden turned around and returned to my side. once Holden was out of the battle I threw Winstons ball onto the field. in a flash of red the seal pokemon was out and let out a yawn. "Winston weaken the zigzagoon, with a water gun" and at this command Winston let out a water gun in the same manne as before except this time it was a jet that fired towards the zigzagoon at the same rate as the pin missiles
