"Yes," He responded. I nodded. The electricity coming from the room looked powerful. I approached the room with caution. I slowly opened the door. When I looked in, I saw an enormous yellow bird Pokemon. Not just any bird Pokemon, the legendary bird Pokemon Zapdos. The room was huge, it appeared to be the main control room. I could see a hole in the ceiling, showing large dark clouds in the sky. Zapdos appeared to be taking shelter here, probably to rest.

Zapdos looked at me and nodded. We had already met before, and it was lucky he liked me or we'd have to battle him, which would not be good for Luciano.

"As I sure you already know, this is the legendary Pokemon Zapdos." I said. "Quite majestic. You don't by chance have a camera do you? The Warden wanted a picture of Zapdos that he'd be willing to pay for."

I looked at the legendary electric bird Pokémon with awestruck eyes before other noises and sights started to process in my brain, such as Infernape's noise of surprise and then the Ranger's question. Unfortunately, I didn't process his question as words, but noises as I shook my head a little bit before smiling a little bit, "Um…sorry, come again?" I eventually asked, a sheepish smile coming to my face, "I don't think I heard what you said."

"Um…sorry, come again?" He said. I just shook my head and laughed. His reaction to seeing Zapdos was natural since Zapdos was in fact a legendary Pokemon. Anyone would easily be amazed by it. Zapdos looked at me and then motioned with his head towards a door behind him.

"Looks like Zapdos wants to sleep, let's go out through that door over there." I whispered as the Zapdos layed his head between his feathers and closed his eyes. We quietly walked out of the room, and as we did, a large mouth snapped out at us. I jumped back, being careful not to make too much noise since the Zapdos was sleeping in the room behind us. I looked back at the large crocodile mouth and saw Mawile. It looked eager to battle. "Wanna give it a shot?" I asked.

I couldn't help other than to chuckle as myself when I realized how dumb I must've sounded before hearing the suddenly clamping of the Mawile's jaw as I looked at and smiled at it's eagerness, "You know, I think I could use something like him on my team." Then I turned to Fuemono, who seemed to agree as I said, "Alright then, let's start off with showing off our own spunk with a Close Combat." Although I knew how risky the move was, as I saw Fuemono smile and nod before rushing towards the crocodile, getting as close as possible before unleashing a barrage of quick, rhythmical punches.

"You know, I think I could use something like him on my team." Luciano said. "Alright then, let's start off with showing off our own spunk with a Close Combat." Now using this move was indeeed risky. The Mawile, though in my opinion it didn't look much like it, was a Steel type Pokemon. Fighting moves, especially powerful ones like Close Combat were sure to do a lot of damage it it hit the Pokemon. He seemed to know what he was doing, so I didn't say anything. The Infernape began moving at a pretty decent speed, kicking and punching rapidly at the Mawile.

I looked carefully at the small Steel type and noticed something that I hadn't noticed before. It had a silvery metallic glow to it. It must have threw it up right before the Infernape reached it. After the Mawile had enough beatings, it began to glow bright, I shielded my eyes, knowing what was to come.

I heard a loud slam and then the light disappeared. When my eyes adjusted, I saw the Infernape slouched against the wall, with a small dent behind him. The Steel Jaw Pokemon had used Metal Burst, which took the damage it did, and added a bit of power before sending it back. I knew that had to hurt. It looked like it did plently of damage to the Mawile, so I could only imagine what it did to the Infernape. I saw the fire monkey slowly rise to its feet as it looked at its trainer, awaiting another command.
