    "You know, I can show you the park sometime." Cameron said with a huge grin on his face to the new desk lady, Uwa. She giggled.

    "I wanna show you something too." She said as she got up and headed to the back room, "Follow me." Cameron followed her to the back room and shut the door behind him.

    "So, what did he want to show me." Cameron asked.

    "This," She said, moving her hands behind her back and bringing forward a packet. "It just came in a fax, we have a new Trainer wanting to go through."

    "Is that all you wanted to show me?" Cameron said sighing.

    "For now." She said winking as she walked out of the room. Cameron just laughed and shook his head. He grabbed the file and moved to his office where he grabbed several different Pokeballs. As he walked out of the office, he whistled loudly and a large, black hellhound came running towards him.

    "We got a new run to do buddy." Cameron said to his partner, a Houndoom named Shadow. "Let's get going, we'll finally be arriving on time."

    -

    "Looks like we're here, shouldn't be long now." Cameron said as he waited at the gates of the Abandoned Power Plant for a Trainer named Keiru to show up.

    Keiru strode calmly towards the gates that led towards the Abandoned Power Plant, taking in the beautiful sights around him, breathing in the fresh air. His white hair was blown softly by the breeze as he approached the gate, spotting a figure standing at the gate. A smile reached on Keiru's face, realising that it was a Ranger. Keiru had read a lot about the Rangers. They were kind people, and in a way they were tour guides, showing Trainers around the park, making sure they didn't get into trouble and whatnot. Keiru had actually thought about becoming a Ranger at one point, but had decided against it, his love for travelling and finding new Pokemon far overpowering the desire to become a Ranger.

    Keiru surveyed his surroundings, his gaze scanning the trees, a smile rising on his face as he looked at the wonder that the park had to offer. The park was truly a magnificent place, and was very versatile, having an array of terrain, as well as a large range of Pokemon throughout the park. Keiru loved Pokemon, and enjoyed watching them in their natural habitats, seeing how they reacted to others of their kind, as well as type, and how they reacted to intruders.

    In the air, a Pidgeot flew by, heading away from the Abandoned Power Plant, and Keiru's attention was drawn to the Pidgeot, the sheer beauty of the Pokemon mesmerising. The Pidgeot flew elegantly and smoothly through the air, Keiru watching its every move, before it disappeared over the horizon of trees, and he was snapped back to reality, now arriving at the gate. Keiru approached the Ranger, a smile on his face.

    "Greetings, I am Keiru Ashi." Keiru introduced himself, holding out his hand for the Ranger to shake. "I thank you for accepting to take me round the park. What is your name, if I may ask?"

    "Greetings, I am Keiru Ashi." The Trainer said after landing. He extended his hand out and I shook it. "I thank you for accepting to take me round the park. What is your name, if I may ask?"

    "My name is Cameron, and I'll be the Ranger escorting you through the Power Plant." I said. "This is Shadow, the most loyal Pokemon you'll ever see." Shadow barked happily. "Shall we begin? It might be a little dark in the Plant today, so I hope you brought some kind of light source."

    Keiru's feature twisted into a frown, patting his clothes down, and he looked at Cameron, and shook his head, before an idea popped into his head, a hand reaching for his most precious red and white sphere. Chucking it into the air above him, a ruby red light shot out of the sphere, and an orange ape began to form, small metal platings on its body, and a burning flame on the top of its head.

    Keiru smiled at the sight of Fury, who looked back at him, its flames becoming slightly larger when it saw him. Keiru hadn't had one of his Pokemon out of their Pokeball for a while now, having not needed them for anything. Keiru was glad that Fury had had the chance to shine, for Fury was Keiru's most treasured companion, and he had to admit he had begun to miss the sight of his Infernape.

    "Infern!" Fury cried with happiness.

    Keiru turned to look at Cameron, a smile on Keiru's face.

    "Will the flame suffice?" Keiru asked, motioning to the flame on top of Fury's head.

    ~~~~~
    I walked out of the offices, looking for Cameron. The new desk lady had sent me out to get him and bring him back in. I wasn't sure why, but I had a feeling I didn't really want to know. Luckily for me, he hadn't yet set out with his Trainer yet.
    "Hey, Cameron!" I called out. His head shot up and looked over at me. I ran over the last fifty metres to catch up.
    "The new office lady told me she wants to see you privately," I said with a little bit of confusion in my voice. "She said to tell you that I can take your run so you and her can discuss some important matters out back."
    Cameron grinned, and handed me the Trainer file. He then jogged back into the offices. His Houndoom, Shadow followed quietly behind. I didn't really know what a low-ranking office lady could possibly need to discuss with Cameron, but hey, I wasn't a very high-ranking Ranger. So whatever.
    I turned to look at the Trainer. He looked competent enough, and an Infernape stood by his side. I sighed quietly. Every single Trainer that comes through these days has a freaking Infernape, I thought to myself. Pushing aside the thought, I smiled at him.
    "Hey, my name is Chainy, and I'll be taking you through the Plant instead of Cameron," I said to him. I looked at the file and saw his name was Keiru. Interesting name.
    "So, will the flame suffice?" he asked me, indicating the fire on top of his Infernape's head.
    I frowned. "It should do for most cases," I said slowly, "but it isn't as good as the Flash HM."
    I dug a spare flashlight out of my pack and handed it to him. "That should help," I added, "but still not as good as the real thing. Shouldn't matter much though."
    "Hey, my name is Chainy, and I'll be taking you through the Plant instead of Cameron,"
    Keiru nodded, watching Cameron head back to the Ranger Outpost, before he turned back to look at the new Ranger, a smile on his face.
    "It should do for most cases," Chainy replied in answer to Keiru's question about Fury's head fire. "but it isn't as good as the Flash HM."
    "That's true, but I do like a challenge." Keiru joked, smiling.
    "That should help," Chainy said, digging out a flashlight. "but still not as good as the real thing. Shouldn't matter much though."
    Keiru took the flashlight from Chainy, offering a thank you to him, before attaching the flashlight firlmy in place on the side of the belt he had his Pokeballs on. Keiru smiled as he saw a shape dashing through the treeline several feet away, watching the figure dash rapidly through the overgrowth, wishing he had brought something to take pictures on. The light from the sun shined on the shape, and Keiru noticed that it was a Luxray galloping with a fiery pace through the woods, a sigh escaping at the sight, before he turned his attention back to Chainy, eager to start the journey in the Park.
    "So, you ready to go then?" Keiru asked, directing the question at Fury and Chainy.
    "Fernape!" Fury screeched in reply, and Keiru chuckled slightly.
    "So, you ready to go then?" Keiru asked, directing the question at both myself and his Infernape. His Infernape screeched a positive reply, and I grinned.
    "Yeah, sure. Let's move out," I said.
    We entered through the main hallway. It was wide and ceiling was high. This part of the Plant still had working power, and it was clearly evident. Lights lit up the area from their stationary perches along the wall and on the ceiling. Wires and cords ran along steel beams high in the air, and small sparks jumped across them. There were open doors leading to side rooms off to the sides of the hall. I was just about to ask Keiru where he wanted to go when a Magneton floated out of one of the rooms. It was either ignoring us or it hadn't seen us yet. It made its way over to a broekn down piece of machinery on the side of the hallway.
    "There we go," I said, "do you want to try and catch that Magneton?"
    Keiru followed Chainy into the Power Plant, admiring the scenery that the Plant had to offer. Keiru's eyes darted to a Magneton as it floated out of a room, having not noticed them, or was ignoring them. The Magneton floated effortlessly over to a broken down piece of machinery on the side of the hallway, and Keiru couldn't help but smile.
    "There we go," Chainy said. "do you want to try and catch that Magneton?"
    Keiru stared at the Magneton for several seconds, pondering his choice. Magneton was a powerful Pokemon, as well as being quite fast. It was a dream Pokemon for Keiru, and he stood staring at it for several moments, debating whether to attempt to capture the Magneton. Finally, Keiru made his decision, and turned to look at Chainy, a slight emotion of sadness on his face.
    However much he wanted the Magneton, it definetely wasn't going to be an easy opponent, and Keiru would of felt quite mean by attacking the Magneton by surprise, since it hadn't done anything to harm him.
    "I would like to continue if that's alright?" Keiru asked, his features unchanging, casting a glance back at the Magneton.
    Keiru seemed a little sad as he turned to me. By the time he finished speaking, however, the sadness had left his face.
    "I would like to continue if that's alright?" he asked me, making it sound like a question.
    "Sure," I said, sounding a little puzzled. We moved on, approaching the Magneton on a tangent, but planning to pass it by. Just before we had passed it, however, I stepped on a twig that had been blown into the building, making a large snapping sound. The Magneton quickly looked around and saw us. It began floating over. I held my hands palm out to it.
    "Don't worry, we're just passing through," I said to it.
    I floated over to me and inspected me, and then it moved over to Keiru. It inspected him from all different angles, and then nudged him in the shoulder playfully.
    "Friendly little bugger," I said to Keiru, grinning. "You sure you don't want to battle it?"
    "Sure," Chainy replied.
    Keiru glanced sorrowfully at the Magneton, stopping when he heard the snap of a twig, and turned to see that Chainy had stepped on a twig, and winced. Keiru had hoped to pass by without a nuisance, and this certainly was one.
    "Don't worry, we're just passing through," Chainy spoke to the Magneton.
    Keiru watched as the Magneton approached Chainy, and observed him, before floating over to Keiru and looking at him from different angles, before playfully nudging him in the shoulder. Keiru smiled faintly at the Magneton, a sigh escaping him as he stared at the Magnet Pokemon.
    "Friendly little bugger," Chainy said, grinning. "You sure you don't want to battle it?"
    Keiru stared at the Magneton for several moments, watching it as it watched him, a frown rising on his face for a moment, before being quickly replaced by a smile, and he looked back at Chainy. A small gleam could be seen in Keiru's eyes, before he nodded at Chainy, and took several steps back from the Magneton, and then turned to look at Fury, who took position in front of Keiru.
    "Okay I guess." Keiru stated. "Let's do this Fury, but don't hurt the little fella too much, we definitely don't want to upset such a friendly Pokemon."
    Keiru stood still for several moments, eagerly watching the Magneton whilst he contemplated his choice of moves. Keiru wished he had bought TMs as Fury's moveset was quite narrowed down due to the lack of TMs, but that didn't matter, as Fury was by far one of Keiru's strongest Pokemon, even if it didn't look it. A smile grew on Keiru's face as he took a battle stance, Fury doing the same, the two of them standing in sync in the same stance.
    Keiru cast a glance back at Chainy, and then turned his full attention back to Fury and the Magneton, eyeing the magnet Pokemon up with anticipation, waiting for it to do something, but then decided he would rather be on the upper hand and be the first one casting the stone, rather than the sleeping hare in the race.
    "Right Fury, start things off with an Ember attack to test the Magneton's defences, and see whether it will be able to withstand the more powerful moves! I don't want to end up KOing it!" Keiru requested happily. "And then follow that up with a Taunt so Magneton can only use offensive moves!"
    Keiru paused for a moment or two, wondering whether he should request another move.
    "And if you feel up to it, a Scratch attack, but if you don't feel up to it, then don't do a Scratch attack." Keiru requested. "Is that alright with you Fury?"
    Keiru suddenly grinned as I offered him the Magneton a second time. However, the grin soon faded and his face resumed the disinterested, neutral expression that seemed the norm.
    "Okay, I guess," Keiru said neutrally. He then turned to his Infernape. "Let's do this Fury, but don't hurt the little fella too much, we definitely don't want to upset such a friendly Pokemon," he said.
    Fury nodded and took on a battle stance. For some reason Keiru did too. Some Trainers like to battle alongside their Pokemon, but Trainers actually attacking the Pokemon was against the rules.
    The Magneton floated opposite the Infernape, preparing for battle. "Whenever you're ready," I said to everyone.
    "Right Fury, start things off with an Ember attack to test the Magneton's defences, and see whether it will be able to withstand the more powerful moves! I don't want to end up KOing it! And then follow that up with a Taunt so Magneton can only use offensive moves!" Keiru called out. It seemed like he was enjoying himself already. As Fury moved forward a little bit, he then threw in one last command. "And if you feel up to it, a Scratch attack, but if you don't feel up to it, then don't do a Scratch attack. Is that alright with you Fury?"
    Fury hooted an enthusaistic response. He darted forward and swung his arm at the Magneton, sending small balls of fire towards its opponent. Some of the balls made contact, scorching the Magneton's steely shell. He then pointed at the Magneton with a fiery hand and chattered at it, trying to goad it into attacking. The Magneton didn't respond, however. It simply watched the Infernape, however small yellow sparks began jumping off of it.
    In a way, this goaded Infernape to attack. It jumped forward, raking its claws across the Magneton's body. This had little effect, however, and as it was retreating Magneton unleashed its attack. A blast of electricity erupted from the centre of its body. The large blast looked somewhat like a shotgun shot, and it blasted Fury back into his position. It didn't look like he had taken much damage from the attack, but the Magneton suddenly looked a bit stronger...
    Keiru smiled as Fury went in and the Ember attack connected, and he watched eagerly as the Magneton seemed to be hardly affected, if at all, by the Taunt, and then Fury scratched it. Keiru was still smiling when the Magneton unleashed a charge of electricity, which sent Fury skidding back to his original position at the start of the battle. Keiru narrowed his eyes, concentrating on the Magneton. It sure was a fiery Pokemon, and was quite strong.
    Keiru looked at Fury with concern on his face, wondering whether his Infernape was alright, as they had been together for a while, since Fury was his starter.
    "Hey, Fury, you ok?" Keiru asked.
    Fury replied with a screech, not taking its eyes off of the Magneton, and Keiru nodded, smiling as he looked at the Magneton. Keiru was relieved that Fury was alright, as Keiru cherished the fire ape a lot, the two of them sometimes like brothers. Keiru contemplated his next choice of moves, before nodding at himself, and clearing his throat.
    "Fury get in there with another Scratch attack please." Keiru called to Fury."Fury trap that Magneton in a swirl of flames with Fire Spin, please!"
    Keiru felt slightly nervous as he watched the Magneton, a small shiver going down his spine. He wanted to catch the Pokemon, but he didn't know whether he would end up taking it out or not, one attack that was the wrong choice, and the Magneton could be KOed, and Keiru didn't want that. Keiru felt a grin rise on his face as he remembered Fury was capable of healing itself. Keiru breathed deeply for several moments, readying himself.
    "Fury, after the Magneton attacks you, heal yourself with Slack Off!" Keiru requested, smiling.
    "Hey, Fury, you okay?" Keiru called out to his partner.
    Fury screeched an enthusiastic response. and resumed his battle pose, waiting for orders.
    "Fury, get in there with another Scratch attack and trap that Magneton in a swirl of flames with Fire Spin please!" Keiru ordered, albeit nicely. As Fury ran towards the Magneton, he called out another order. "Fury, after the Magneton attacks you, heal yourself with Slack Off!" he added, smiling.
    I shot a quick look at Keiru. Apparently he loosened up quite a bit while battling. That was good - I didn't like goign through with emotionless stick-Trainers.
    Fury ran towards the Magneton and raking his fingers across its body again. He then took a deep breath and blew a stream of fire at the Magneton. It turned into a whirlwind-like tornado of fire that completely surrounded the Magneton, not doing much damage but stopping it from moving or fleeing. As Fury returned to his position the Magneton launched a Thunderbolt attack. It zapped Fury in his back, and he fell to his knees, smoking slightly.
    Fury's face contorted in pain, but he followed the plan. He slumped to the floor, relaxing completely. Magneton also burbled, still being burnt by the flames.
    Keiru smiled as the attacks connected with the Magneton, and his smile dropped for a moment when Fury was hit hard by the Thunderbolt attack, and nearly rushed forward to check on Fury, but he remained still as Fury began to heal himself by slacking off. Keiru was relieved that Fury wasn't overly hurt by the Magneton, and he watched the flames swirl around the Magneton.
    Keiru paused for a second, admiring the scenery for a moment, smiling, before looking back at the Magneton. He studied it for several moments, contemplating carefully his next choice of attacks. Keiru nodded to himself, preparing himself as he surveyed the battlefield. Keiru patted down his clothes, stopping to pull out a very small coin, and examined it, before clenching it tightly in his fist, and turned his attention back to the magnet Pokemon.
    "Fury please start scheming with a Nasty Plot." Keiru requested of the Infernape.
    Keiru sighed, his smile still on his face, as he examined the Magneton. It was putting up a good fight, and definitely would be a good addition to his team, however, he didn't know whether he would be able to capture the Magneton, and if he ended up having to run away he would be saddened. Keiru didn't like running from battles, he definitely didn't. He glanced at Chainy for a mere moment, before looking back at the Magneton, and then around the area they were in.
    "Fury, try and find a vantage point, the high ground." Keiru requested. "Somewhere up near the ceiling, but not too high, okay?"
    Keiru hoped that with Fury taking the high ground, if it succeeded, that not only would Keiru have the height advantage over the Magneton, but he would also have a surprise position, if the Magneton didn't notice where Fury was, at least. Keiru nervously poked at a Parkball on his belt, deep in thought over the battle, playing scenarios through in his head over what could happen.
    The worst that would happen would be that Magneton would end up getting KOed, which Keiru definitely didn't want. Then it would be Fury getting KOed. Keiru shook his head, bringing his attention back to the battle, he needed to stop being so nervous, and just relax, like he had been at the start of the battle. Keiru nodded to himself, he needed to be relaxed. What was there to worry about, the Magneton would be able to handle itself, it was strong. But was it strong enough. That nagged at Keiru, and his eyes darted nervously from the Magneton, to Fury, then back to the Magneton.
    Keiru sighed, as he took a Parkball off of his belt, and examined it closely, looking at it from all angles, concentrating on it, before nodding, and placing it back on his belt, and then looked at Fury. Keiru wondered whether he should bring in Mr. Yellow to replace Fury, but decided against it. That would be insulting to Fury. If Keiru needed Mr. Yellow, then he would send it out, but Fury could definitely handle itself in the battle it was currently a part of.
    "Fury, when you're in position use Calm Mind to hone yourself ready to continue the battle." Keiru called, hoping that Fury would do so. "And you're doing a great job buddy, keep up the good work."
    When Fury started feeling a bit better, he clenched his muscles and jumped to his feet in one powerful movement. He waited patiently for commands while his Trainer looked around at the surroundings, perhaps trying to find an advantage over the Magneton. Keiru absently pulled out a coin while doing so, grasping it in a fist. Apparently Fury was used to his Trainer temporarily zoning out, so he just waited patiently with a small smile on his face.
    Meanwhile, the Magneton was releasing small bursts of electricity, trying to find a way to see through the flames. The electrical pulse would flatten the flames in the direction the Magneton was looking for a couple seconds, but then the fire would flare up again. The Magneton burbled a sigh. It would need to find another way to attack its' opponent.
    Meanwhile, Keiru had refocused on the battle. "Fury, please start scheming with a Nasty Plot," he asked his Infernape gently.
    Fury continued smiling, but now the smile was vicious as he was now trying to imagine as many different ways to weaken the Magneton as possible. While he was doing this, the Magneton released a small burst of electricity temporarily dousing the flames. Its lower-left eye was glowing blue, and a thin blue line shot out of the pupil, hitting Fury in the chest. The flames recovered the Magneton, but the blue laser line stayed firmly on Fury's chest.
    "Fury, try and find a vantage point, the high ground," Keiru said, "somewhere up near the ceiling, but not too high, okay?"
    Fury hooted assent, and he began gracefully swinging off machinery and pipes to get up into the steel rafters. He carefully avoided the cables that were sparking, trying to find a foothold. But no matter where he moved, the thin blue laser line followed him even though the Magneton couldn't see through the flames.
    When Fury had found a place to stand, Keiru gave his next order. "Use Calm Mind to hone yourself ready to continue the battle," he called out. The he smiled and added "And you're doing a great job buddy, keep up the good work."
    Fury smiled, appreciating the praise. He then sank into a meditative pose, pushing back the flaming rage and thirst for fighting that all Infernapes had naturally. As he did so, the Magneton made its move. It ejected lots of sparks from its body, which floated in the air around it. Soon, the entirety of the inside of the flaming vortex was pure electricity.
    The Magneton launched all this electricity in the direction of the Infernape, using the blue laser line to guide it. The raw power of the electricity being fired flattened the flames, putting them out completely. The cannon of raw electricity blasted towards Fury. It was shaped like a cone, making escape almost impossible. Furthermore, if the Zap Cannon hit Fury, it would probably knock him off his perch.
    [I lost the original post to the dreaded BMG-Log Off, and this is my attempted redo post]
    Keiru growled in frustration, staring at the Magneton as it broke free of the flames, and unleashed a powerful Zap Cannon attack, which split the air as it zoomed towards Fury. Keiru glanced at Chainy, then back at the Magneton, frowning, deep in turmoil over his decision, but he turned to Chainy.
    "Do you think I can try and escape this?" Keiru asked. "I so want a Magneton, but this is taking time, and I don't know whether Fury can manage to sustain much more damage this early on into the Park."
    Keiru looked longfully at the Magneton, wishing he didn't have to make a run for it now, but honestly, he didn't want to take too long in a battle, and then there was the fact that the Magneton had been hit hard early on, and was a tad weak, and adding in the factors of Fury's powerups. Keiru pondered over for several moments, wondering if his decision was right. The Magneton was definitely a wonderful Pokemon. And it had proven it was powerful. What were the chances of him finding another Magneton this powerful, probably next to none. Keiru looked back at Chainy.
    "Actually, I won't run." Keiru stated, smiling once more, and turned back to look at the Magneton. "Fury, focus now! Channel your power into a Flare Blitz and target the Zap Cannon! I know you can do it Fury!!"
    Keiru's smile was back, filling his face, as thoughts zoomed through his mind, plans forming within moments. He was going to definitely enjoy his time in the Park, no matter the time it took him. He had paid to get in, so why would he want to rush out so quickly. At least enjoy the Park for a while. Keiru sighed, wondering what Pokemon he would want. Of course, the Magneton in front of him he definitely wanted, but then there were so many other good choices as well. He considered a Rotom, but they were powerful, and rare, and very, very hard to capture. Then there was the sludge Pokemon called Grimer, now that was a Pokemon, but Keiru didn't want to run the risks of his Pokemon becoming poisoned, as he hadn't brought anything to remove status ailments.
    Keiru considered a Pikachu, nodding at the thought. Pikachus were powerful, energetic, and highly sought after, and were extremely cute and amazing. Then there were Shinx. Keiru liked Shinx, and their evolutions rocked. He most certainly wanted a Shinx. Finally, there was a Voltorb, a powerful, Pokeball-like Pokemon that could often be mistaken for a Pokeball. Voltorbs were extremely volatile Pokemon, and were devastating Pokemon, and he would be extremely honored if he managed to find one, and would definitely want it. He nodded, smiling. Definitely Voltorb.
    "Fury, focus a stream of fiery, intense flames at the Magneton with a Flamethrower attack!" Keiru shouted, requesting that Fury do so. "But don't go overboard and take the Magneton out, he's a friendly Pokemon after all."
    Keiru closed his eyes, breathing deeply, focusing entirely upon the battle. He needed to remain calm, and place all his thoughts on the battle between the magnet Pokemon and Fury. This battle would require one hundred and ten percent co-ordination with Fury, and he knew that to do so, he would need to be focused. Keiru ndoded to himself, opening his eyes, a grin slathered on his face as he studied the magnet Pokemon. It was quite a gleaming Pokemon, made up of three Magnemites, and it was incredibly powerful. The sight of it was amazing, majestic and graceful, and Keiru knew that this particular Magneton would be an amazing addition to his team if he managed to capture it. He wanted to capture it, no, he needed to capture it. Keiru sighed, deep in thought, his mind racing to formulate a back-up plan against the Magneton, as it seemed it could counter everything thrown at it, such as the flames surrounding it, had been decimated quite quickly.
    Keiru scanned the surroundings, focusing entirely on coming up with the back-up plan, his grin widening as a potential plan began to form within his mind, and he nodded to himself, a small laugh escaping him. Yes, that would definitely be a good plan, and Keiru hoped it would work. Keiru looked at Fury, the start of its counter attack against the Zap Cannon having already begun to surface, first glowing a pale orange colour, before turning into a blazing ruby red colour, but this wasn't actually the attack, this was the aura resounding around Fury due to the energy from the build-up of the Flare Blitz. The blitz was a far more intense, more powerful, hard to control, move, but Keiru had trained fiercly to get Fury to master the move, and he hoped all that training would pay off here as he now glanced at the Magneton, a grin on his face, waiting to see what would happen.
    Keiru tapped his thigh softly, which is what he usually did when extremely nervous, of which he had now become, wondering what would happen if everything backfired, and Fury was Knocked Out, or what if the Magneton got hurt, or what if he damaged the plant due to the Flare Blitz. Worry filled him as he imagined himself being escorted from the Park, which he honestly did not want to happen at all. He enjoyed the sights of the Park, they were truthfully breathtaking, and he wanted to remain in the Park and enjoy it in its fullness. But, what if he damaged the plant. This thought plagued Keiru's mind, and the thought nagged at him, his hand holding the small coin tightening, the coin digging into his palm.
    The small jolt of pain from the coin snapped him out of his worry, and a faint smile broke onto his face as he dismissed the thoughts, entirely focused on the battle now. He had a time to worry about the future events when they happened. For now, he needed to focus on the here and now, and help his buddy, Fury. Keiru's smile grew larger as he cleared his throat, looking at the Magneton with a deep interest, studying it heavily, watching its every move. The gracefulness of which the Magneton floated above the ground was mesmerizing, and the glow emanating from the magnet Pokemon's body was blazing, quite breathtaking in appearance.
    "Do you think I can try and escape this?" Keiru asked me as the Magneton began to launch its attack. "I so want a Magneton, but this is taking time, and I don't know whether Fury can manage to sustain much more damage this early on into the Park."
    "That's a fair point," I said. "You could probably return Fury to his Poke Ball, but that'd be like conceding the battle. But whether the Magneton lets you on your way would be something different altogether."
    Keiru considered it, staring at the Magneton as the torrent of electricity shot towards Fury. I was about to bump him gently along when he suddenly smiled. "Actually, I won't run." Keiru said, smiling once more. "Fury, focus now! Channel your power into a Flare Blitz and target the Zap Cannon! I know you can do it Fury!"
    Fury began glowing a pinkish colour all around himself, and the pink turned into a bright red. He jumped directly towards the incoming Zap Cannon, looking like a meteorite complete with flaming tail. I thought it was a suicidal move. As it turns out, I was wrong.
    The fire-covered Infernape cut through the Zap Cannon like a knife through butter. The electricity passed to both sides harmlessly. However, as fury traveled through the stream of raw power, the fire surrounding him was chipped away. When he was three quarters of the way through the Zap Cannon, his fire finally gave out entirely. Fury was pushed to the ground by the Zap Cannon, but he had avoided most of the damage promised by the powerful attack. I looked at him through my lens and I was surprised to see that he wasn't paralyzed.
    "Fury, focus a stream of fiery, intense flames at the Magneton with a Flamethrower attack!" Keiru shouted to Fury. "But don't go overboard and take the Magneton out, he's a friendly Pokemon after all."
    Keiru was apparently trying to keep Fury's momentum rolling. Fury got to his feet and blew a fiery breath at the Magneton. The attack was more hot air than fire, and that was good because Fury's boosted Special Attack could probably easily take out the Magneton at this point. The air knocked the Magneton backwards, doing damage to it. I noticed a few dents and weakened points on the Magneton's body, but it wasn't finished yet. It started making a resonating sound, attempting to confuse Fury. It also could work on Trainers, disorienting them if they weren't careful. Luckily, my earpieces would shield out the sound. I waited to see how Keiru would counter the Magneton's latest strategy.
    Keiru watched as Fury cut through the Zap Cannon, getting hit by the last quarter of it, and landed on the ground, surprisingly without being paralyzed. A smile grew on Keiru's face as he gazed at the powerful, yet serene, Magneton, which floated elegantly in the air. The hot air slammed out of Fury, crashing into Magneton, and Keiru could see the dents in its body from the battle. A sorrowful look rose on Keiru's face at the sight of the injurym and he couldn't help but feel sorry for injuring the Magneton, but hopefully, this battle would be over quickly, and then he could keep the Magneton safe, as well as allow Fury to recuperate.
    Keiru's eyes narrowed, focusing on a small fissure in the Magneton, a possible weak point perhaps. A grin surfaced on Keiru's features, nodding to himself, deciding on an ultimate plan. It was about time he attempted to capture the Magneton, but first, he would need to counter its attacks, and then damage it enough so that the catch rate would be easy, and hopefully, have no chance of failing. Keiru flexed his hands, breathing deeply as he studied the Magneton, nodding while he studied the magnet Pokemon. Fury remained vigilant, waiting for Keiru to give it a command, the Supersonic approaching. Keiru burst out laughing now, fully happy, energetic, and totally boisterous.
    "Hey, Fury, use a Flame Wheel to cover yourself in an impentrable swirl of flames!" Keiru shouted, Fury screeching back at him in response.
    Fury leaped into action, spinning quickly, as a swirl of flames engulfed it, the flames bursting with energy, Keiru smiling as he watched his Infernape spin around inside the wheel of flsmes, the flames licking at the air, toying with it. Keiru's mind drifted slightly, remembering when he had first got his Infernape. Keiru smiled as he remembered what happened. He was walking to the Pokemon lab, when out of nowhere a Houndoom had come blundering through the bushes after a man in a white labcoat, the man accidentally dropping his bag. Keiru had grabbed the bag, the Pokeball containing Fury falling out, and Keiru had rescued the man, who offered him the Infernape in thanks.
    Keiru's hand flexed over his waist, hovering momentarily over a Parkball, before he shook his head, turning his attention back tot he Flame Wheel, mesmerized by the intensity of the flames, and hoping that the flames would protect Fury from the Supersonic. Keiru tapped on one of the Parkballs, wondering what the next move should be, smiling as fond memories of all the hardships he and Fury had been through, a chuckle escaping Keiru. He remembered finding a little Poochyena several years baco, his fist proper Pokemon battle, his first capture. The memories brought a grin to Keiru's face as he took on a more serious attitude.
    Keiru let out a deep sigh, noticing that Fury was still awaiting a command for after the Supersonic hit, and Keiru decided he needed to give the command rather rapidly, before the Supersonic hit, rather than after it. He nodded to himself, tightening his fists as he stared at the Magneton, his voice booming in the near silent hallways.
    "Fury, once that Supersonic attack hits, I want you to send in another Scratch attack!" Keiru requested, hoping Fury would agree to this. "And then follow that up with a small Ember attack, I know you can do it, Fury!"
    Keiru heard a screech come in reply from the Infernape, and laughed softly to himself, breathing out a deep sigh as he contemplated his next form of plan. If Fury managed to get through the Supersonic attack, and pull off the Scratch and Ember attacks, then the magnet Pokemon would quite probably be weakened enough to be captured. Several moments passed as Keiru contemplated this to himself, shrugging his shoulders, and mentally rolling his eyes at himself.
    Keiru closed his eyes, focusing himself. He definitely needed to stop losing focus so often, and just stay focused entirely on the battle going on before him. He mentally agreed with this, however, he still physically ignored himself, still stuck somewhat in a daydream. A long, drawn-out sigh escaped Keiru, before he nodded to himself, pulling a Parkball off of his belt, and studying the Parkball with intent. The sphere was rather complicated and majestic, quite amazing in how it operated, with ID code and everything that could stop it being stolen by poachers.
    Keiru rolled the Parkball around on the palm of his hand, glancing calmly at the Magneton, which was floating in the air, tempted to just throw the Parkball now, but decided against it, knowing it would be quite foolhardy to rush headlong in and try and capture the Magneton, deciding it would be more strategical to wait for the attacks to be unleashed. Keiru surveyed the surroundings, taking in the hallway, a smile obvious on his face as he observed the scenery, nodding to himself, before his voice broke the somewhat inconsiderate silence.
    "Fury, I know you can do this, buddy!" Keiru shouted, supporting his Infernape. "You're the best Pokemon I know, and you're my most treasured companion! You can do it, I know you can!"
    Keiru hesistated for several moments, watching the Supersonic attack, before breathing deeply, and breathed out rapidly, his chest lowering within seconds. A smile crept upon Keiru's face as he twirled the Parkball in his hands, glancing at the Magneton, nodding. It was time, he had waited long enough, and the strategical juncture was now. With a swift movement, Keiru threw the Parkball into the air, the arc of it carrying it high into the air, just below the ceiling, and would hit the Magneton after tha attacks were launched, the timing hopefully correct, by Keiru's calculations he would be on time for the arc to hit the target after the attacks, and thus provide him with more of a chance of capturing the Magneton.
    Keiru watched the arc of the Parkball, as it span majestically in the air, a smile on his face as he watched it, his gaze following it. The sun was quite remarkable up in the sky, and the sunlight bounced off the Parkball, creating a spectacular sight as the Parkball travelled through the air along its arc, towards its target, the large magnet Pokemon, Magneton.
    "Hey, Fury, use a Flame Wheel to cover yourself in an impenetrable swirl of flames!" Keiru called out.
    Fury grunted and swirled his arms around, creating a protective tornado of fire that was similar to the Fire Spin he had used to trap the Magneton earlier. Apparently Keiru was hoping that the flames would shield Fury from the Supersonic attack.
    "Fury, once that Supersonic attack hits, I want you to send in another Scratch attack!" Keiru ordered. "And then follow that up with a small Ember attack, I know you can do it, Fury!"
    Unfortunately for Keiru, the flames didn't hinder the supersonic waves. The strange echoing sounds moved through the fire and started confusing Fury. He lashed out at the invisible sounds and became more frustrated as they continued.
    "Fury, I know you can do this, buddy!" Keiru shouted, supporting his Infernape. "You're the best Pokemon I know, and you're my most treasured companion! You can do it, I know you can!"
    Fury calmed down, taking stock of his situation. He realised that he had probably been hit by the Supersonic attack, so he killed the Flame Wheel. He also saw the Magneton twenty metres away. He couldn't concentrate on it, but he ran towards it anyway. The Magneton was like a floating grey blob in Fury's vision, but he was determined not to let his Trainer down. He blew a small breath over his hands, using his Ember attack to light them on fire. He then slashed at the Magneton, trying his best to hit it.
    He did. The Magneton was knocked to the ground by the power behind Fury's swipe. Fury then collapsed on the ground, his energy mostly used up.
    Keiru threw a Park Ball at the Magneton. The ball tapped the Magneton's dented body, and it was converted into red light. The ball wiggled as the Magneton fought the ball's capture mechanism.
    The ball stilled. Keiru had successfully captured the Magneton.
    "Congratulations," I said to him as I walked over to the ball and picked it up, stowing it in my pack.
    Keiru mentally cheered as the Parkball stilled, a small click rising into the air signalling the successful capture. Keiru instantly moved forward, to kneel down alongside Fury, patting the Infernape softly on the back, a deep smile on Keiru's face. Fury turned his head to look at Keiru, screeching softly, to which Keiru nodded, still smiling at the Infernape.
    "You did well buddy." Keiru smiled. "I knew you could do it."
    Fury screeched in reply, and Keiru chuckled slightly, raising his Pokeball that was 'home' to Fury, and pressed it softly onto the side of Fury, the red beam shooting out, and sucking the Infernape back into the Pokeball.
    "Rest easy now." Keiru sighed, placing the Pokeball back upon his belt, and he looked up at Chainy. "Thanks, though it was down to Fury for actually being successful in the capture. He's a good Pokemon, and he definitely derserves a rest, as does that Magneton."
    Keiru's features had changed dramatically, he was now a happy person, his features contorted into a smile as he stood up, beaming at Chainy.
    "So, you ready to continue then?" Keiru asked, grinning. "I'm eager to see the sights, meet the Pokemon, enjoy the scene."
