Cameron already had a baby Mantyke, so we left this one blissfully swimming around in the lake.

We kept walking around the lake, which was surprisingly devoid of Pokemon. After about ten minutes, Dual released himself from his PokeBall.

"How did it go?" I asked out loud.

<That sneaky bastard stabbed me in the back,> Dual said. <I strafed him a few times, but he had a Gyarados attack me from behind while I was charging a Shadow Ball.>

"And you let him get away with that?" I asked, mirth in my voice.

<Hell no!> he replied emphatically. <I put a good sized scorch-mark on Kyogre's fin, and took the Gyarados out with a few lightning bolts as Bladey flew away.>

"So you didn't return to the PokeBall? You just held onto Blade's claws?"

<I wanted to get in a couple more shots.>

I sighed.

"Sometimes I think buying that Dawn Stone was a huge mistake," I said to Cameron, grinning as I did so.

Dual looked a little injured.

We walked on, and soon there was a huge splash as a Pokemon surfaced. It had a hard rock shell protecting a soft blue body.

"Wow, that's an Omastar," I said. "Want it?"

"How did it go?" Chainy asked his Gallede as soon as it released it self from its ball.

"I wanted to get in a couple more shots." He said. Chainy just sighed.

"Sometimes I think buying that Dawn Stone was a huge mistake," Chainy said to me. I just laughed. Mindbender was impressed with the Gallede. I knew she sort of liked it, especially after hearing how it was fighting Kyorge.

"Wow, that's an Omastar," Chainy said. "Want it?" Seeing that Omastar reminded me of the one I once had. I didn't say anything, just shook my head and placed another doll down.

"Shall we move on?" I asked. I wanted to get out of the park before dark. I had been here once after dark, it was quite fun, but I didn't want to do that right now. I just wanted to get through this and go home with my newly caught Relicanth.

Cameron shook his head, and threw a doll gently at the Omastar. It grabbed the doll with one fluid blue tentacle and sunk beneath the lake's surface.

We continued walking around the edge of the lake, mainly because Cameron didn't specify anywhere else to go, and I was happy to go wherever.

A small amount of fog developed, which was strange, considering it was only the afternoon. We walked through the fog-bank, still just following the lake edge.

And then suddenly, a figure appeared out of the fog.

It was Uxie, who we had last seen flying towards the small woods.

It looked at us through sleepy eyes and made a small questioning keen.

We were walking on the edge of the lake, which I didn’t mind because I still had my sights set on one last Pokémon. Even though my Clamperl disk had run out, I was still hoping one would come my way. I then noticed some fog around a small area of the lake. As we entered it, the Uxie from earlier appeared before us. It was so close that I could get a really decent picture of it.

“What, no Azelf?” I said jokingly. I raised my camera, focusing it on the Uxie. Though there was fog, the picture would look neat with the fog around the Uxie. That was if I got the picture though. I waited for the picture to develop as I further examined the Uxie.

“How are you today?” I asked the Uxie. “Got any spots I should check out before I leave?”

"What, no Azelf?" Cameron joked.

Dual snorted. I grinned, too.

Cameron raised his camera and took a picture of the Uxie before asking: "Got any spots I should check out before I leave?”

The Uxie nodded, and the fog began swirling around us, moving ever closer. It quickly whited out my vision, and I felt a strange, whirling sensation. Within a few seconds, however, the fog thinned and faded. Everyone was still here, except for the Uxie.

I looked around and groaned. Uxie had brought us to the highest point in the Great Lakes: a smallish freshwater pond on top of a small mountain that fed many of the rivers.

A splash caught my attention, and I turned to look. And my jaw dropped.

A wild Milotic had emerged from the pool. It moved gracefully over to us, and it looked us at with wise eyes before making an echoing trilling sound.

"It wants to battle," I said to Cameron. "Do you want to?"

Uxie had teleported us to what appeared to be the highest place in the Great Lakes area. A beautiful Milotic emerged from the lake, moving towards us. Its beauty was almost close to Seasprays.

"It wants to battle," Chainy "Do you want to?" I looked at it some more before responding.

“No, I’m not really in the mood to battle.” I said. I already trained two Milotics, right now my main focus was not on getting another one. I raised my camera to capture the Milotic’s beauty. I snapped the photo and waited to see what the Milotic would do. I was hoping it would leave without having to battle me, but I wasn’t sure.

“No, I’m not really in the mood to battle," Cameron said.

I understood. The day was late, he had what he had come for, and if we left soon he could catch the last ferry and not have to stay overnight.

Cameron raised his camera and took a picture of the Milotic. The flash scared it a little, so it keened and dived back into the pool.

"Well, that's it," I said. "15 Pokemon encounters, just like it says on the label."

I shot a look at Dual, and he nodded. A blue flash engulfed us, and we teleported back to the main gate. It was already open, waiting for us.

I was about to leave when I realized I wanted to go and find out what had enraged the Pokemon back at the deep saltwater lake.

"This is where we part ways," I said to Cameron, shaking his hand. "I hope you had a good time, and hopefully I'll catch you later."

Dual had dropped to one knee and was kissing the hand of the Gardevoir. I bumped him with my elbow, knocking him over and ruining the effect in general.

I returned Dual, and summoned Broadblade. I jumped onto him and flew away, happy to have escorted this trainer through his most recent adventure.
