"Come on out, Milotic! I need your help again!" Ataro called out and threw the Pokeball towards the front. With a flash, the capture device opened up and released Milotic once again, as she floated in the air once she was let out, before settling down slowly to rest her tail on the ground. "We're going to try and capture this Tyrogue! Alright, start off with a Whirlpool to make it confused and lose its balance. Then, top it up with another Twister to create a vortex of Whirlpool trapped in that tornado of winds."

Milotic nodded and created a large whirlpool at the end of her tail and directed it towards the small human shaped Pokemon. Suddenly the small Tyrogue was surrounded by a blue whirlpool. The black silhouette of Tyrogue span around in the whirlpool. The suddenly Milotic began to spin her tail around in a anti-clockwise motion, creating a small twister. The small twister directed it way to the large Whilrpool and disappeared into it. The top of the twister erected from the whirlpool and span around in the same motion of the Whirlpool.

Tyrogue had other ideas and charged his way out of the Whirlpool, however he looked too tired to attack Milotic. There was a massive difference between the Pokemon energy levels. Milotic hadn't been hurt and Tyrogue just couldn't stand up.

"Good work, Milotic!" I praised her, as the combination attack had a huge effect on that Machop. Initially a completely healthy Pokemon, it was now very weak and it couldn't even stand back up anymore. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed with the Tyrogue's strength. On the bright side though, at least this would make an easy capture.

"Okay Milotic, it's time to finish it up. I want you to get in close and deliver a very gentle Tackle to lower its health just enough for a more successful capture. Once you managed to Tackle it, quickly coil it up with your body gently. I don't want you to hurt it anymore after that, but I just need you to hold on to Tyrogue. Use Hypnosis to put it to sleep, by using the hypnotic rays from your eyes and the energy waves produced by your eyelashes," I told my Milotic, as she nodded her head happily. I assumed she was delighted because of the relatively complex instructions that I gave her. She always liked challenges.

I really wanted the Tyrogue to be at a lower health still, since that would make the capture more successful. After all, I didn't want my Parkball to break if the capture was unsuccessful. And of course, slapping a wild Pokemon with a status condition was always the preferred way of capturing since that really makes it easier by a whole lot. By using Tackle, it also allows my Milotic to get in close to Tyrogue so that the Hypnosis will have a much greater chance of hitting. With the Tyrogue trapped within Milotic's curl of her body, and with the hypnotic rays focused in close range from Milotic's gorgeous eyes and further enhanced and concentrated with her eyelashes, the Tyrogue was almost bound to fall asleep after that.

I reached for a Parkball and held onto it, preparing myself to throw it anytime once the Tyrogue had fell asleep. Meanwhile, I watched as Milotic literally swam her way towards Tyrogue in air, while she moved ever so elegantly like a majestic dragon flying in the skies. For all I know, she could already have been emitting her hypnotic waves from the time she started to float towards the Tyrogue.

That was why I have always loved my Milotic so much. Being of a Sassy nature, she always liked to do Contest-styled battling and the outcome of the attack should always be beautiful. The best part is that she likes to impress, so most of the time, she does even better than what I tell and expects her to do. Even better, she loved doing complicated combos, and those are extremely efficient styles of attacks that would almost always have tremendous effect on the recipient on the combo attack.

The tall sea-serpent Pokemon lowered her head and quickly slivered towards Tyrogue. The speed of Milotic was extraordinary, it had speed and beauty. The Milotic smacked into Tyrogue leaving the small Human Shape Pokemon lying on the floor.

Milotic tried not to over do it and soon the Tyrouge stood on it's feet and began to charge towards Milotic. It raised it's head and smacked into the tall Beauty Pokemon. Milotic shrugged the attack away and grabbed Tyrouge in her tail. The small Tyrouge was stuck in the scaly tail of Milotic. Milotic opened her eyes and stared towards Tyrouge. The eyelashes of Milotic produced a purple ray towards Tyrouge. It looked like this was Hypnosis. The small Tyrouge feel sound asleep in Milotic's tail.

"You could try catching it now, It might work" Joe shouted towards Ataro.

She tackled the Tyrogue gently, being extra careful not to overdo it like what I had told her to. However, it seemed that the attack provoked the Tyrogue a little instead, as the Tyrogue stood back up on its feet and charged towards Milotic. It then smashed its head against my Milotic, although Milotic simply shrugged it off. It was apparent that that attack did close to nothing. I couldn't recognize what was that attack however. It seemed like Headbutt, but it could also be a different form of Tackle.

Regardless, Milotic took advantage of the close distance that Tyrogue was in right after the Tyrogue's attack and immediately trapped the Tyrogue by curling it up with her tail. The Tyrogue was completely trapped and tried to struggle free, but Milotic's grasp was too tight for it to even budge. Then, Milotic proceeded to the next attack, and put Tyrogue to sleep swiftly by producing the hypnotic rays from her eyelashes while maintaining eye contact with Tyrogue throughout.

"You could try catching it now, it might work," Joe shouted towards me, as I nodded in agreement.

I took the Parkball that was already in my hands, and threw it towards the Tyrogue, whom was still fast asleep and trapped within my Milotic. The ball capsule struck Tyrogue on its head and opened up, sucking it in with a flash of red beam. It then dropped back onto the ground and started shaking profusely. All of us watched silently as the Parkball continued to quiver, waiting in anticipation of the result.

The small Parkball rolled around on the soft snow, then eventually stopped. Joe walked forward and picked the Parkball up and placed it in his blue rucksack. He turned around to Ataro and said "Well Congratulations, You have caught a Tyrouge. As you know now I have to keep it until we reach the end of the Park Run" The small PokePlayer started to play as Joe finished his sentence. The loud cry of Sneasel projected across the cave. There was no reply.

Ataro and Joe walked ahead towards the bright light at the end of the tunnel. The closer they got to the exit, Joe saw the white snowflakes fall from the sky. Just as Joe was about to step out of the cave he heard a familiar cry. He quickly turned around to Ataro and gave him a signal to be quiet. The cry became more louder now and much more clearer. Joe smiled before turning around. A small Black Pokemon was standing at the end of the path. It's small silver claws stood out from the rest of the body. The Pokeplayer produced a Sneasel's Cry. The small Black Pokemon look around to see where the noise was coming from before staring towards the group.

Joe turned around to Ataro and said, "Well aren't you lucky, what we have here is a Sneasel, I know that you want to battle it, so take the stage" Joe walked out the way and watched intensely to see what would happen next

    OOC: Female please.

Eventually, the Parkball stopped shaking, which also means the capture was successful. Joe walked over to the Parkball and picked it up, while congratulating me and reminding me that he was supposed to keep the captured Pokemon for me until the end of the run. As he finished talking, the sound of the Pokeplayer continued to play, emitting the cry of a Sneasel that echoed throughout the hollow caves.

We continued walking towards the end of the cave, where the light source was coming from. The closer we got to the end of the cave, the more snowflakes we also saw falling from the skies. It was snowing - my favorite kind of weather. I've always loved the snow because not only did I like the chilly feeling of it, it also looked magnificent. They all looked like tiny balls of snow ice cramped together. Heck, thinking about it just makes me think of food all of a sudden.

Just as we were about to step out of the cave however, an ear-piecing cry echoed back at us. It was almost similar to my Voice Disc's cry, but I wasn't so sure because the cry was too soft. Joe turned around to give me a signal to maintain silent as he continued to spot for the source of the cry as it got louder and louder. Eventually, he smiled and turned around to face a Pokemon that had appeared out of nowhere.

The Pokemon was a bipedal one, vaguely resembling a mix of cat and a weasel. It was mostly black throughout, but it also had bright crimson red feather-like growths on its left ear and lower back. It looked around to identify the source of the cry, not realizing that it had actually emitted from my Pokeplayer. Once it was sure that the cry wasn't a Sneasel and I assumed that it suspected that we tricked it with a fake cry, it held up its paws and drew its retractable claws out.

Joe turned around to face me and said, "Well, aren't you lucky, what we have here is a Sneasel, I know that you want to battle it, so take the stage."

Truth be told, I had completely no interests in a Sneasels. Speaking of competitive strength, I've always felt that Sneasels are too weak for my liking, getting pummeled by Infernapes and Stealth Rocks almost majority of the time. To add on, it also failed to impress me with its looks as well. To most people, Sneasel would probably look like a very cool species of Pokemon, but I felt that it was still around average. Though, it was one of the rarer Pokemon species in this area and it is also highly sought after, which was why I was attempting to catch a Sneasel while I happen to be at Mt. Oktori. The Sneasel should be able to fetch me a good trade in the future.

I then thought about what Pokemon I should send. I could use Ambipom while he is asleep to use Snore or Sleep Talk, while I can only make use of Milotic's Hypnosis. However, I realized that I didn't use Smeargle at all in this run so far. Thus, I decided to go with Smeargle. After all, with Smeargle's Baton Pass, I can just Baton Pass over to another Pokemon later, if I wanted that is. I took Smeargle's Pokeball and threw it towards the ground. The sphere then opened up, releasing a red light that transformed into the silhouette of a beagle-like Pokemon.

The skin of my Smeargle was almost white throughout, with her ears, collar, and eyelids being brown, as well as the rings that encircled her eyes. Not only that, she had two brown bands on each of my arm, and one brown band on each of my legs. She also had a long tail that bared a striking resemblance to a paintbrush. She took her battle stance position in front of me and concentrated on the opponent, while facing her back towards me, which had a green footprint birthmark as well, being the same color as the color as her tail-tip.

I had to adjusted my battling style to suit Smeargle's in fact. Although I had been battling mostly offense throughout, especially with Milotic, since she liked doing complex combination so much, Smeargle preferred to battle differently. She would rather play defense, because she realizes that she is better at performing defensive moves, healing moves, or simply any other moves that hinders the opponent's attack. She enjoyed playing with the surroundings to use it to her advantage. I knew that she didn't liked attacking the opponent unless it was to decrease her opponent's power or to inflict a status condition, but she will still obey if the attack that she does will not put her at harm's way, or simply vulnerable to attacks from the opponent.

Not like it mattered, since all of Smeargle's Sketched moves were mostly non-attacking anyway; only Extremespeed was a damaging move. My plan was to build up stat boosts while rendering the opponent unable to move around too much, and perhaps I might Baton Pass to either Ambipom or Milotic, or simply attack with Extremespeed. Still, I knew that I needed to call a starting move. If I wanted to be able to dodge attacks better, speed would be an important criteria in helping me to dodge attacks or simply lower the damage taken.

Then, I could also make use of my Smeargle's then heightened speed to spread status conditions out. I knew that most Pokemon can only be affected by one major status condition at a time, for example, a sleeping Pokemon cannot be paralyzed at the same time. However, I did see before rare occasions where the Pokemon's determination becomes as strong as the trainer's, so much so that a double status condition actually works. I was pretty confident my Smeargle would be able to pull something like that off, even though it hasn't done that before.

Besides the determination that I had, my Smeargle was also very close to me, considering that I caught it myself while out on a journey and not via other ways like prizes being given out at Pokemon Events, Tournaments or the Game Corners. That meant that Smeargle became rather attached to me when I first caught it, and considering that we've been together for quite some time, our bond could be considered very strong. To top it off, Smeargle also liked performing moves that restricted her opponent from attacking. Thus, this was literally a three times bonus add on if we were to visualize the chances of a double status conditions working in a mathematical formula. Regardless, I knew what my move commands were.

"Okay Smeargle, do what you're great at. Start out with a Dragon Dance to heighten your attack and speed power, that should allow you to dodge your opponent's moves better and faster. Once you're done, don't stop dancing. Instead, go with the flow and dance in a pattern towards the Sneasel with your heightened speed. Once you're close enough, paralyze it with a Thunder Wave to restrict its movement, and immediately follow up by spreading a Spore attack onto it, paralyzing it and putting it to sleep at the same time. I know you can do it, Smeargle! Let's go!" I shouted my commands over to Smeargle, who quickly obeyed by moving out into her attacking position.

She held her tail close to her and started dancing vigorously, like how a ballerina looked like. She moved so gracefully as she danced from side to side, turning in circles and circles. I was almost confused by looking at her actions alone, due to the circular dancing and the color from her tail that also revolved with her movements, which made me feel giddy. As she danced, she gradually became much faster as well. Once she completed her Dragon Dance boosting, she didn't stop dancing like I told her. Instead, she continued dancing so fast that it looks almost like a blur, as she started to get close enough to the Sneasel.

Still dancing, she glowed in a sparkle of yellow as electric currents started surrounding her body. She was almost ready for her next attack, as I watched on, for her to strike the Thunder Wave at her target to render it incapable of moving, and then sleeping it with a spread of Spore.

I know you can do it, Smeargle! Let's go!"

Smeargle grabbed it's paint brush tail and began to spin around on the spot. As she was spinning around, her tail began to emit some red sparks. The small red sparks began to make it's way up her body until completely covering her. She began to spin violently and then stopped on the spot. There was no visible sign of fatigue from Smeargle's face. Within seconds she powered on and started to dash towards the bewildered Sneasel.

As she was running towards Sneasel she raised her tail and started to rotate it in an anti-clock wise motion. Another spark appeared on the top of the tail and as she kept swinging her tail, created a large yellow circle. She stopped within touching distance and released the momentum of the tail and allowed the yellow circle to hurtle it's way towards Sneasel.

Sneasel look annoyed and slowly backed away from Smeargle and raised it's long sharp claws into the air. The cold air suddenly cloaked around the claw causing the claw to turn white. Sneasel tried to move quickly towards Smeargle but however due to the paralyze of Thunder Wave, it could only jog towards it's victim.

As soon as Sneasel was close to Smeargle, she raised her claw and smashed it down on Sneasel. The white blue aura around the claw disappeared moments later. "Wow, That was a pretty powerful Ice Punch" Joe said as he watched Smeargle struggle around the battlefield before finding her feet. Sneasel on the other hand had more ideas and began to glow in a light blue colour. Joe knew exactly what was going to happen and quickly grabbed a small Pokeball from his belt and summoned the Pokemon before him. "Infernape, quickly use Protect" Joe said to the Infernape. Infernape quickly raised it's arms and created a large green shield around Joe.

"Ataro, Sneasel is using hail, you might want to find some shelter. You can always use this shield" Joe shouted towards Ataro, however the sound echoed of from the green shield.

As Sneasel was glowing, Smeargle decided now was the time to strick. She quickly ran towards Sneasel and grabbed her tail. She shaked the tail back and forth creating a green powder. The green powder quickly settle around the ground of Sneasel. Sneasel stopped glowing and glanced over at the green powder around the floor. Suddenly Sneasel produced a loud sneeze and then plummeted towards the floor. The weather took it's toll and large ice balls fell to the ground. This was Sneasel's doing.

She stopped once she was close enough to the Sneasel, and released the electrical coil from her tail towards the opponent. The Sneasel showed a look of displease, probably annoyed at my evasive Smeargle, and wrapped its fist as a wisp of cold air started to surround them. It tried to run towards Smeargle with its attack, but moved much slower due to the paralysis from Thunder Wave instead.

Once it was close enough, the Sneasel raised her claws and smashed it onto Smeargle, finishing off with a touch of icy blue sparkle. The bluish-white aura around its claw disappeared after that attack, as Joe remarked about the powerful strength of that Ice Punch. That was no surprise however, I knew Sneasels were particularly good at offense.

I became a little worried, because Smeargle seemed to have struggled with that attack, and took a while to finally stand back up. Taking advantage of the situation, the Sneasel quickly glowed in a misty blue color, but I had no idea what that attack was. It could be as a result of the preparation for another Ice-typed attack, or it could be something else. My thoughts were quickly answered by Joe, as he grabbed a Pokeball and released an Infernape, commanding it to use Protect. The fire ape Pokemon raised its arms and an emerald green aura started to form around them. Soon, it evolved into a large green barrier-like shield around Joe and Infernape itself.

"Ataro, Sneasel is using Hail, you might want to find some shelter. You can always use this shield!" Joe shouted out to me, sine his voice wasn't shielded from the shield apparently. I ran towards the shield and thanked Joe quickly, while continuing to watch my Smeargle's battle.

Thankfully, she had already gotten up. As the Sneasel was still glowing, Smeargle started to run towards Sneasel while grabbing her paintbrush-like tail again. She shook her tail wildly, and started to scatter out green powder spores. The Spore settled onto the ground and surrounded Sneasel. At this time, Sneasel had also finished its attack, although there were no visible effects. Instead, it looked down to study the powder substance on the ground, only to let out a huge sneeze and fall towards the ground, fast asleep.

However, that was not all. Sneasel's attack had started to take place after all. Thick clouds started above the ground, as a thick fog clouded the entire area. Snow starts to fall from the clouds, but more importantly, large balls of hail were flying down occasionally. Smeargle was taken aback by the sudden weather change, and was struck by some of the hail. Even though it didn't cause much damage, it was going to put us at a disadvantage over the next five turns in the battle.

"Alright Smeargle, let's take advantage of the fact that Sneasel's asleep and paralyzed. Move towards Sneasel using another Dragon Dance, then ram it by the sides by giving it two dozes of Extremespeed!" I gave Smeargle the command, after I've estimated the damage output that it would have produced on the Sneasel. I was rather Smeargle was able to perform Extremespeed twice in a row, due to the extremely slow speed that Sneasel was now at due to paralysis, and the heightened speed from both Dragon Dance and the attack, Extremespeed, itself.

I needed the Sneasel's health to be low, but not completely depleted, to have the best possible chance of a capture. Furthermore, if it was still asleep by the time I capture it, it would have been even more perfect, since that raises the chances of a successful capture. If it woke up however, I'd just have to put it to sleep again, although the Sneasel might damage Smeargle even further.

"Alright Smeargle, let's take advantage of the fact that Sneasel's asleep and paralyzed. Move towards Sneasel using another Dragon Dance, then ram it by the sides by giving it two dozes of Extremespeed!" Ataro commanded to her Smeargle. He looked very confident that this was going to work.

Smeargle started to spin her tail again and started to emit the same sparks. Now she was a lot faster and a lot powerful. The Sneasel softly slept on the opposite side of the field unknowing what was about to happen.

Smeargle stopped again and slowly took a deep breath in. After breathing in three times, she started to jump from spot to another, creating a blurred image of Smeargle. She began to use this new speed and began to dash from one spot to another leaving a blurred image behind her. As Smeargle zigged zagged from one place to another, Sneasel produced a soft yawn, it was still asleep.

As Smeargle was inches away from Sneasel, she quickly raised her arms and powered towards Sneasel. The raised arms smacked against the Sneasel leaving it defenseless to such power and speed, it doesn't help that Sneasel was asleep. After attacking twice Smeargle quickly dashed back to his point and started to pant heavily.

The Sneasel looked very injured after that attack and didn't look like it was going to battle anymore, maybe this is a good to from Ataro to capture it. It was Paralyzed and Asleep, it's health is down and is fatigued by the onslaught of Smeargle. Surely now is the time to capture it.

Smeargle spun her tail like before, while emitting the familiar red sparks again. However, she was much faster, and stronger now. As she started to move towards Sneasel with Extremespeed, the opponent continued to sleep soundly on the other side of the field.

She took a deep breath in, and started to jump from one side to the other, and it was almost impossible to identify Smeargle's position now. My Pokemon was moving so fast, that she seemed almost as if she was teleporting her way through the field. Once she was close enough, she raised her arms and rammed into the Sneasel with both speed and force. That wasn't all, she zapped onto the other side and rammed Sneasel again. Once she was done, she ran back to the original position that she stood, while panting heavily due to the huge effort required from those attacks.

The Sneasel was looking ruffled, and not as intact as before. Even though it looked heavily damaged, it continued to snooze dreamily as if nothing had happened before. I noticed Joe looked at me, probably expecting me to capture the Sneasel now. After all, it was in a perfect position to catch. It would probably have been a very successful capture, going by the things went, even with a Park Ball.

To my disappointment, after rampaging through my bag, I realized that I've ran out of Park Balls instead. I let out a quick sigh and took the Super Ball, and threw it towards Sneasel.

The Ball threw out of Ataro's hand and landed on the sleeping Sneasel. The Sneasel was consumed by the ball and rolled around on the icy terrain. The ball slipped and slid until it came to a stop. The ball clicked and Joe walked up to it. A large Brass Band walked out from behind and rock and started to play some celebratory music.

"Well Look's like you now have a Sneasel, congratulations" Joe said as he placed the ball into the bag. Ataro walked up to Joe and said "I would like to leave now"

Joe smiled and nodded before walking over to the nearest teleporter. They slowly walk away to the sound of the Brass Band playing in the background.
