While Alakazam was in mid-air, a purple aura flared around Alakazam. Suddenly, Lickitug was having the same aura that Alakazam had, levitating it high in the sky and tossed it towards a nearby tree. Lickitung rammed its back onto the frozen tree, but it got back up easily. The aura of Lickitung turned into a watery blue one, gathering up piles of rocks on the nearby cliffs beside Lickitung, and began to throw it towards Alakazam.

"That's not good." It was only now when Alakazam crossed its silver spoons in front of his chest when a green barrier protected it from almost any kinds of attacks. It only managed to block a few rocks and boulders, and not managed to block the entire lot of the thrown rocks. Suddenly, Lickitung stopped moving and smiled like it was dumbfounded.

Ragna stepped closer towards Alakazam. "Amnesia?" he thought to himself. "Alright then, I want you to do a Barrier then follow it up with an Energy Ball!"

Alakazam closed its eyes again, tried to levitate itself above the ground. The cold winds brushed over against Alakazam's thin body. It extended its arms widely until a translucent orange rectangle was formed in front of Alakazam. Opening his eyes, he stared at Lickitung intently as a blob of green energy was seen in front of Alakazam and the barrier.

"Now, Alakazam!" Ragna rolled its fist and raised it above his head. The Energy Ball was shot towards the opposing Pokemon, hoping it would land a hit.

Alakazam had just finished setting up the greenish barrier in front of him when Lickitung made an irritating sound--it made Alakazam off-balanced as its defenses weakened a bit. Immediately after using Screech, Lickitung yawned gently and laid its large pink body on the frozen lands on the woods, using Rest. Alakazam crossed its spoons in front of its chest until a green blob appeared. Aiming directly at Lickitung, Alakazam launched the Energy Ball towards it, but it dealt no effect at all.

"This isn't good, at this rate, Lickitung's HP is healed. Quick, use Psychic while its still asleep, toss it in the air. Afterwards, use another Calm Mind!" Ragna commanded.

Alakazam nodded excitingly as its feet was trying to let go off the ground--eventually it was levitating. It crossed its arms in front of his chest again, looking at the sleeping Lickitung. A strange purple aura flared in its body again, hoping that Lickitung would soon be covered with the purple aura so that Alakazam could throw it in the air and toss it towards the frozen trees.

The trees stood silently from the ground, as the two battling Pokemon were the ones who made most of the sounds there. "Continue, Alakazam." Ragna kept watching.

Auras flaring, Alakazam closed its eyes and meditated peacefully, until the aura was replaced with a blue one. Its special attacks and defenses had seemed to strengthen because Alakazam could meditate peacefully, its eyes closed and its opponent was asleep. Using Calm Mind was probably a good idea after all.

"Alakazam's attacks aren't working at all, this is irritating." Ragna noticed that Lickitung was taking less damage from Alakazam's attacks, its because of that Amnesia it had used.

Lickitung, still asleep, opened its mouth widely and released its tongue towards Alakazam. Its tongue glowed with a dark purple light and slammed it towards Alakazam, which tossed it to one of the frozen trees behind Alpha. "Alakazam, pull yourself together!" Alpha cheered Alakazam. Suddenly, Alakazam crossed its feet and levitated in mid-air, crossing its spoons in front of him until he was covered with a purple aura as well. Seconds later, Lickitung was covered with the purple aura as well, although it probably won't deal any damage at all.

"Continue using Calm Mind, Alakazam!" Alpha commanded. While levitating, Alakazam concentrated heavily until the aura was flaring in its body, noting that its special attributes were raising.

"While its still asleep, use Recover, Alakazam!" Alpha added. Alakazam stopped levitating as its feet touched the snowy grounds inside the woods. Alakazam's eyes are still closed and its spoons were still crossed in front of him, suddenly a green light was rising upward starting from its feet. Its wounds began to close one by one, until Alakazam was feeling better.

"Go for a Calm Mind again, then follow it up with Psybeam!" The combo has been made.

Alakazam closed its eyes until the purple aura was flaring up in its body again. Until a rainbow-colored sphere was forming in front of the crossed spoons, aiming it towards Lickitung. "Now!" Ragna shouted, then the rainbow-colored sphere turned into a beam that went straight towards Lickitung.

Alakazam was meditating peacefully when a green light surrounded its body, its wounds slowly healed. Eventually, the green light was replaced with a purple one, connoting Alakazam's use of Calm Mind.

"Now!" Ragna shouted. A rainbow-colored sphere was starting to form as Alakazam crossed its spoons. Aiming carefully at the sleeping Pokemon, the sphere turned into a beam that moved swiftly across the freezing winds of the woods. It managed to hit Lickitung and tossed it into a nearby pile of snow behind it. Suddenly, the ground began to shake.

"W-what's that?" Ragna looked around his surroundings, until the pile of snow released a rolling pinkish boulder--which seemed to be Lickitung using Sleep Talk. Lickitung made its way swiftly towards Alakazam and knocked it in the air. But Alakazam regained its balance by landing on both of its feet. Lickitung stopped rolling and was still in one place again, all asleep.

"Now's our chance, use Psychic to hold Lickitung then hit it hard with Hidden Power!" Ragna pointed its index finger at Lickitung.

Alakazam nodded excitingly and crossed its spoons near its chest. The spoons glowed with a blue aura--Ragna waited for the moment when Lickitung would be enveloped with the same color of aura as well. In the meantime, two orbits of small white orbs surrounded Alakazam's body until each orb turned into a brownish rock. "Zam!" Alakazam roared, then the rocks were shot towards Lickitung.
