Who is your starter Pokemon?

I picked Eevee because it's either going to evolve into Umbreon or Espeon, and either choice is awesome. By the way, how do you know which one you get when you use the Spirit Stone?

 

It's your choice. You can have one or the other. After all, in some part of the world, it's day, and in another part, it's night. Convenient eh?

 

Shinx, because Luxray has amazing Attack, which more than makes up for his lower-than-average speed. He even learns Fire and Ice Fang!

 

Tangela because at the time, it was the only Tangela starter in all of the URPG. Idk if there's one now, but he rocks as an FFA guy and he has very diverse move pool.

 

yanma because, erm... actually i'm not entirely sure why:sweatlol:

although, it does have speed boost, and compoundeyes, both of which could come in handy. Plus, Yanmega seems pretty cool.

 

Taillow, because Swellow is a beast. It's like a Pidgeot on steroids. So, I guess that means it would be a Pidgeot playing Major League Baseball. Oh, burn. *sizzle* Also, I don't think anybody else picked Taillow as a starter.

 

Cleffa. I'm fairly sure I'm the only person who picked Cleffa cause everyone else goes about getting a Clefable through stories and trades when cool people like me work their ass off to get one. Besides he be awesome =D

 

No one picked them because they're both mart mons

 

I am picking a horsea beacuse
1. I love water pokemon
2. Horsea will finally evolve into the almighty Kingdra
Plus I wanted Milotic but your not allowed to choose feebas as a starter so it was between Staryu and Horsea.

 

I picked Abra because of Alakazams high Sp Atk.

 

Houndoom cause its a sexy beast. If I had to randomly start over, I'd gladly pick him again :]

 

Nidoran M... because I had an awesome Nidoking in Pokemon Yellow...

Now I'm wishing I'd started with a better, non-mart, Pokemon...

 

I chose Chikorita because Bayleef is my ultimate favorite Pokemon. Im pretty much building my SoulSilver team on here.

 

I chose Growlithe, Him and Absol are my favorites, I had trouble picking.

 

^Pretty much the same reason I did. And the same thing I went through after looking at the Mart. I still say Flygon pwns. Dragons rule, and Flygon is a lot easier to get than any other dragon types.

Personally, not a fan of Hydro Cannon and Flash Cannon combos.

HP covers almost all the bases that Flash Cannon does, with a few exceptions. Of course, that doesn't really matter taking into account URPG battle mechanics.

I went with Ralts, because:

Not a Mart Mon
One of my favourites
Pretty good for captures (Hypnosis, access to False Swipe later on)
Evolves into Gallade, which can be an unstoppable beast when handled right

 

I chose Onix. Now it just lives in my box, never seeing the light of day because Steelix is a FEARSOME BEAST WHO DOESN'T NEED TO BATTLE D:<

No, but he really sucks. I was going to go for Rhydon, but x4 weakness to grass put me off. Yes, I forgot about Steelix's x4 weakness .____.

 

I choose you Magikcarp. He was a great starter choice, because Gyarados is super awesome!
