Who is your starter Pokemon?

I went with Growlithe, for mostly the same reasons as evanfardreamer. plus I've always liked growlithe

found it it wasn't available in the mart after I picked it, so that worked out well haha

 

Murkrow, because I had just found out that it had Honchkrow and it is probably the coolest looking pokemon in the world for both stages.

 

I went with Eevee because I didn't notice it in the mart when I was picking my starter. Actually I didn't notice it until I went to get my second pokemon. It all works out though, because I wanted an Espeon and I got me my Espeon.

 

I chose Shinx because Luxray is my favorite Pokemon.

 

I Picked Magnemite not only because it is one of my favorite Pokemon, but also because of its strong typing, and that it's not available in the store. I think its worked out pretty well for me too.

That said, I think Magnezone is hideous.

 

I chose Magby cos i like Magmar=), but if i had the chance then i would have chosen someone else i think XD

 

Arcy is a big, bulky, battle pokemon that is invincible (to an extent hehe)

I chose Torchic becuase I joined when (I thought) Hoen was still sort of new and cool and Blaziken was I only starter ever in the games and fire mon rule. (Pluse in the game my Blaziken kicked everybody's ass becuase I always used it lol)

 

Gastly, because gengar kicks @$$

 

Ralts, because you can't get it in the store and Gallade has got a high Attack stat and an insanely diverse movepool, especially when you take Kirlia's into account as well.

 

I chose Cleffa cuz Clefable > Charizard > Gengar.

 

Trapinch, because I love how Flygon looks and it becomes a Dragon type later on (huge dragon fan, both in and out of Pokemon).

Course, I kicked myself later on after finding out it was a mart 'mon...But I wouldn't trade it for any other starter ^^;

 

Chikorita, because of the flowery-dinosaur-death machine that is Meganium, and because no-one else was picking him when I joined.

And even though Meganium is pink, I still love it .

 

I went with Smoochum, because it is a very overlooked pokémon, and I couldn't get Porygon or Farfetch'd T_T

 

I chose Elekid, because it evolves into Electivire.

I picked Snorunt... years before Froslass was released... I don't really know why :banghead:

 

The Cleffa line is awesome!

I chose Lotad...Go figure.

 

Mine was Riolu. It was the hardest Pokemon on my team to write for (with the exception of Feebas. Writing that was...)
Still is a Riolu. I probably should buy a Soothe Bell soon.

 

I got Buneary cause I caught a shiny one in my platinum game; used it as my main in Soul Silver and it totally saved me in the battle against Lance.

 

Gardevoir's always pulled me through in the games once I started using her, so I started with Ralts here.

 

I'm a huge cat fan and I instantly fell in love with the Shinx line when D&P came out, so of course I'd pick it outta everything else! ^^
