URPG Podcast [Sign-ups open now]

Since I finally got this approved, lets start.
Approved by HKim

As you may have heard, URPG is now looking into new media to help the URPG progress, so I will be organizing the handle into Youtube/Podcasting.
So What is Youtube or Podcast?

Youtube is a medium through which free video can be seen or uploaded. You can view the site at Youtube's website

Podcasts are where people can record talking to each other and these will come in form of sound and the people can here us talking.


Well we plan to keep everyone updated and informed about the URPG and things related to it through these mediums
There are 2 things we'd like you to do:
1) Vote for which medium you would like this to be in
2) Apply for a position to work for this project. Remember, we want your help ONLY IF YOU ARE 100% DEDICATED TO THIS. We do not want you to slack off and if you do so, you will be immediately removed from the project.

Please elaborate on what you are trying to accomplish before expecting others to vote.

So in general for updates, news, discussions about URPG, gossip, etc.

Couldn't this be done just as well by making it's own topic on the general board? It doesn't have to be too complex, just an easy listing of happenings and perhaps people in each position can give their own feedback to help out new URPGers. I just don't see the necessity of it being done on Youtube or through Podcasts.

Ill do both youtube and podcast =)

I can do both voice and editing.

I'll try my best to work the next 2 weeks, but Ill be 120% dedicated once the summer comes.

You could stream it through websites like podbean.

You do not need to download podcasts to hear them, you can hear them through:
Websites
iTunes
and if needed sound clips on Youtube.

Well I still vote on both. There are some things each can do the other cannot.

On Youtube, u can have visuals
On podcast, theres no time limit

Even if Im wrong, I still say both

Sure! Again its up to you guys.
What I was thinking was, we start off as a Podcast and if its done well then we add a Youtube.
But.. You decide!

That would make sense. BTW, you should proboly make a list of the people who want to work on the project.

I was thinking of doing that at the end of the Sign up process, in about 10-12 hours.
So that allows me to have a complete list from both the forums. Though I still have a few questions if someone could help out, we have 2 forums, how do we collaborate between both?

Make a AIM blast chat for one. Go here for info. Also, assign one other person to make all posts on PE2K sense Im assuming your doing BMG.

AIM blast seems good, but I need something solid where I can post things others can see for long term. If you're thinking of a chat, then IRC seems better since people are not too fond of the AIM Blast from what I see.
Make all posts on 1 person to make all posts on Pe2k sense?? That does not mean anything

At the moment I'm handling everything, though it may change in the near future.

Hmmmm....then the best thing I could think of is to make a new forum dedicated to the podcast. That way, you could send out a PM to vevery person at once.

Ok Guys, in sometime I'll be closing the POLL. The sign-ups for the podcasts will still be open. So you can sign up at anytime you wish. At the moment, what we are doing is starting up with podcasts and then moving on to Youtube if it does well. Again, if you sign up, you will have to have a call up, where you talk to me and I judge the way you will work. THank you so much for your patience

I'm not a buzzkill, I just don't see the point in a lot of the things happening lately.
