I think he means there is only one piece of Heart, Air, Dark, etc. mail and that they have to be cycled between people; for instance, one person could buy Tunnel Mail, and use some as-yet-undetermined method to give it with a message to someone, who could then pass it along; but nobody else could then buy Tunnel Mail.

At least, that's how I read it.

Dunno why you'd want to throw away 50 or 500, if you get another 50 or 500 that's a whole 100 or 1000!

I think 1500 is a bit expensive since it hardly has a use. That's hardly any less then the actual useful items.

50$, or at the very most 500$, seems reasonable to me. But what do I know.

It's the kind of item that the hero randomly receives from a friend as a joke, but in the battle in a episode far into the future, he suddenly finds himself in the impossibly-complex situation in which that item becomes useful. He uses the item, saves the day, and everyone wonders how in the world he remembered to use it only for him to admit that he accidentally pulled it out and it worked, again affirming the fact that the hero is an idiot.

But at least he has the power of friendship!

 

The math is easier without 50 hanging on the end. Laughing at you cause you'll never get rid of it.
