Make Gems/Herbs Permanent?

Suddenly, tangents, tangents everywhere.

None of the staff have any idea what any of you want anymore.

At the risk of being Facebookesque, if you want them made permanent, like this post. I'll also save a baby and you wont go to hell or something, I don't know.

 

Still think this, no-one really debated this or anything. But 3 likes has gotta count for something, right? D: It'd just mean we don't have to have two sets of berries, and we don't have to force mixing upon buying and everything.

And Berries should be made permanent, yes.

 

I guess a like isn't as strong as a post, and since nobody else said anything, I'll swing by and say that I think this is not only convenient, but totally sensible for the sake of keeping up to date. If we don't do what AshK (I think) said and abolish Berries completely, this is the best course of action imo. There'll be a bit of a mechanic change in creating Poffins, but not one that should be a problem.

 

The addition of Poffins to replace Pokéblocks is probably the most ideal option of them all. Although removing Pokéblocks might sound the easiest option (especially as they are rarely used), it would create more problems with the compensation for those who have spent a lot of money getting maximum stats on a Pokémon.

There wouldn't need to be any changes in mechanics, just in the naming.

 

So.. I don't know why everyone is using Poffins as a replacement for Pokeblocks, when they're literally the same thing from different generations? I thought the problem was the berries, not what became of them.

 

So one month later, what do you think?

My vote: Remove Contest stats altogether, make berries permanent Battle items for like 1k or something.

 

Lum Berries 4k all other berries 3k and permanent. Good day nubs.
