    Except Kanto was in both Gen I and Gen II. So, using that logic, we use both clauses at the same time? PARADOX, BRAIN IMPLODES.

    I don't think these clauses are needed tbh. GSC and RSE already do a sufficient job of removing aspects of future generations like the physical special split. Prohibiting mons and moves would put too much restrictions imo

    Or you could do special rule battles saying what generation Pokemon to use.
