What i don't get is, why would you need a total of 100 points for something, if the required criteria is one piece of at least 50 points. So even if you meet the criteria, you still can't get it unless you manage to fork out 100 points. I just dont understand.

    EDIT: Oh hi there, Kai

What we're trying to encourage is quality-- you need a minimum of fifty points for your points to count at all, but you need a total of one hundred points to get the Pokemon in the situation that you're suggesting. This way, we can prevent someone from making twenty crap pieces worth five points each, and instead they'd make two pieces, each worth fifty+ points, to get to their hundred point goal (because frankly, we should never be giving out anything worth one hundred points to begin with). It'd be... like... if you were taking biology at your school. There's molecular biology and then there's also environmental biology, and since both of them can rather large things to handle, your teachers have split them up into two years, and you've got to take both to get the credits to graduate (you live in biologialand now. Deal with it) Naturally, you take each course one at a time, and take one after the other. However, if you get below a certain final grade on your molecular biology course, you can't use those credits and you therefore can't advance to the next year's course. They're both still biology, and they're both still attributing to one overall biology credit, but you need to get above a certain standard in both cases to prevent people from trolling through the system and not improving.

    ...did that make sense?

Holy moley, I'm going to have to read over that again at some point in time and contemplate it @[email protected]

Either way, I think before we decide anything else, we should test out this point system that we're working with here. Discussion goes a long way, but nothing will ever happen if we don't try applying it. >:

Its like a technical fail. You dont pass unless you get at least a certain mark on the exam.

EDIT: As Kai said, Im going to be leading this project now. I hope to get a subforum open for a trial/startup run very soon. Based on feedback I may change things as time progresses, but I think I'll be starting with things as currently planned.

"Art Curator" will be a URPG job in the same way Ref, Grader, Judge etc are. At the moment I don't have a full test devised, but it's good to know you're interested.
