The Trainers' Estate: Lounge: Library Area

Serenity walked into the library and began looking for a book on Empoleons. "Empoleon and You, the Great Empoleon Migration of '56, here it is! TMs: Empoleon." She grinned and decided to read for a bit.

A while later, Serenity got of and thought it would be nice to go to her own room.

"Come on you two." the girl ushered her pokemon.

 

Sennyo turned and quickly scaned the last page of the book Ledgends of the Pokemon world, and closed it. having failed to find a starge system computer in the libary, he had decide to read the book form start to finshed had had lost track of time.

"I best get up an leave, also I should start exploring this place more" he said to himself.

 

The door crashed open. Dany's eyes had sparkles in them, and there might as well have been no one else in the room.

"BOOKS! YES!"

In five seconds flat, an armchair had been occupied and a pile of tomes lay at Dany's feet. The pile gradually thinned, until only a few books remained. Soon, only one book was left. Mumbling quietly to herself, Dany picked up the last book and stuck her nose in it. Not really going anywhere in particular, she wandered out the door, stopping briefly at the check out desk to swipe out the book, completely missing the look of awe on the Librarian's face at how many books she had just read in one sitting.

 

Abigail entered the library not wondering what to say.
"Oh I have to be quiet I guess but I'm not hanging my coat up!"
She walked to the table and screamed "YES, THEY GOT FASHION WEEKLY!"
The people looked at her in an angry manner.
"Sorry I just haven't caught up on my fashion designs.."
"Shhh!" said somebody not standing Abigail's mumbling.
"Oops sorry!" whispered Abigail whilst just straightening her coat.
She sat at one of the lonely tables by the window and did her makeup and hair.

 

Humming noiselessly, Dany wandered back into the library. She had mostly focused on fiction before, and so decided to grab some pokemon mathematics books. Despite only have Liaf, she loved learning about the intricacies of pokemon attacks and interactions in battle.

Dany dropped her book in the return bin, and made her way towards the one impossibly large shelf. She grabbed a few books on the relegation of amplitudinal pokemon attacks and made for the windows near the back of the library. She noticed a lone reader, staring intently at a fashion magazine. her interest piqued, Dany set her books down on the table.

"Hey there friend, the name's Dany. Anything new this month? These shoes of mine are starting to wear out."

 

Abigail stared up at the girl in tomboyish clothes and red hair infront of her.
"Um hi, I'm Abigail and well cyan is the latest colour but I haven't done any designs or work lately."
She had just finished her lipstick and started looking at the magazine when Dany appeared.
"So, I'm guessing your new?" asked Abigail whilst closing the magazine and fixing her hair.

 

Dany scratched the back of her head and smiled. She wasn't really used to talking with other girls, or other people really. She gre up in a small town, and you pretty much knew everyone there and nobody else.

"Honestly, I'm not even sure what Cyan is, and yeah, I'm new. You're not, though, I can tell. Whats been doin around this place? It's pretty amazing - so many things that work but don't make sense, and so many things that make way too much sense to work at all."

 

"Oh I'm not that old. I'm fairly new but I've settled in 3 weeks."
She looks at Dany.
"You might not now but I call everyone names yours is Red head!"
She finishes fixing her hair and gets up sorting her clothes and putting her heels back on as she took them off under the table.
"Well cyan is a type of blue and as you can see I'm very aqua themed!"
Abigail pointed to herself as she was dressed all in bluue and her hair was blue aswell as her makeup.
"Anyway I'm a fashion designer and pokestylist!"

 

Red head! It suited her. Dany laugh a bit under her breath. This was one energetic girl. What Dany would give to be that enthusiastic some times...

"I had no idea you could style pokemon. What's it like? Does it help them in battle at all? I've read alot about battle tactics, but I've never seen anything about the benefits of style. Oh, I know! It's probably for contests. I've read all about those."

Dany sat down in the chair across the table from Abigail. She was interesting. Dany smiled. She liked interesting.

 

She sat down on her chair again.
"Well Red Head, fashion designer is simple for people and a pokestylist is making clothes for pokemon. However they're haute coture not simple clothing. It brings the best of them and shows them off aswell as the dress. Many contest use it but there are specially made events for young and upcoming designers."
She looked at Dany curiously wondering if she wasn't bored from all her talking.
"Anyway enough about me and my life, though come to my room later and on one of my mannequiens I think I have the perfect shoes for you, tell me about yourself Red Head."
She closed the magazine and put her elbow on the table so her arm was up and rested her chin on her palm waiting for Dany to reply.

 

"Well, there's not much to know." This was all uncharted territory for Dany. Pokemon fashion, Pokemon styling? How had she never heard of it. She'd make sure to check out some books on it as soon as possible. "I grew up in a slow little town, and really only just started my whole Pokemon adventure thing." Dany made a wry face. "Hasn't been much of an adventure, really, and I'm completely fine with that."

Dany hated things out of the normal. When things stopped being normal, they also tended to get out of control. Dany didn't want to be anything even ressembling the main characters in the books she read - too much risk and rough n tumble.

"I'd rather keep my head down, and learn. Learning is probably my favorite thing to do, actually. Here, think of everything you know. It's alot right? Then, think of everything you don't know." Dany gesticulated wildly with her arms. "It's so much more! I want to learn as much as I can, about anything and everything at all."

 

"Hmm well it seems to me you are very closed!"
She noticed the passion in Red Head's eyes.
"Hmm you see you can't truly learn and grow without taking risks. Sometimes they'll pay off and sometimes it may not but thats how it is. Whats important is what you achieve or gain from that fail. It can be anything not just studies. Look at me I failed quit badly with having a true boyfriend due to my flirty nature. I got taught a lesson and now I have a wonderful boyfriend and I can control my flirtiness."
She stopped talking for a while reaching to her bag. She gripped her lipstick and applied.
"Sorry got to do this! Anyway what do you think?"

 

"Well, um, yeah..." Dany found herself blushing. She was incredibly sure of herself when it came to her world view. She didn't want to get sucked into any world changing events, but did that mean she should never take risks? Maybe not...

"I feel you, sister. I think. But what do you mean by closed? Sorry if I'm not a good conversationalist." Dany's blush deepened.

 

"No no your fine Red Head!" She looked at her with sympathy.
"By closed I meant your just very scared and unwilling to try and accept change and different things. Also when it does appear you seem to view it differently. Either you don't accept it or you need to learn and observe and gain knowledge on it further so you feel comfartable."
She pulled her chair closer.
"You see nobody is going to know everything and you can't back down from life and close yourself into a little corner. You have to experience everything that comes your way no matter how different or random it is."
Abigail stood up.
"Wow check me out the school drop out for fashion ain't stupid no more!"
People looked at her angrily again.
"Sorry shhhh.." whispered Abigail and sat down.

 

Dany couldn't help herself, she started cracking up.

"You're something else, Abigail. How in the heck did you ever drop out of fashion...school, was it? Even if you were dumb as a rock, which there is no way you are, with that kind of energy level I can't imagine you not doing well. You're the get up and go character in all those corny school novels - you get up and get gone! Or going."

Dany had started to loosen up. Making friends wasn't so hard!

 

"Oh I've never been fashion school. I went to normal school and I did quite well."
Abigail opened the magazine again.
"But then when I found my passion in fashion I started paying less attention and soon..."
She stopped as she turned the page.
"But I'm ok, I've got a lovely life. I have 2 houses of my own which my parents don't know where I can just fly off to do my fashion designs."
She turned the page again after skimming the text and glancing the photos.
"Soon I thought, let me take a break. I'm still only 17 so I came here to get a break but I like it here that I might keep a permenant room here instead of going like I was planned."

 

"Me oh my! That's one successful life you've got for yourself there!" Dany swung her feet back and forth below the table. She never would have imagined there was so much money in fashion..

"Mind telling me more about it? That's a world I never even imagined existed. Where did you start off? Are there companies or incorporates? Or is it just 'One girl against the world, with nothing but her creative flair for all thing fashion!'?" Dany made a note to write that line down. It would be a great quick-sum of a fashion story.

 

"Wow I like your wording Red Head!"
Abigail turned the page but stopped and looked up.
"Well I do my own designs and submit them into companies and shops. Also working under famous people from time to time gives good money. I guess I started from contests and saw a girl dress her pokemon. It developed from there as I lived away from my family in blackthorn and moved to sootopolis city under the mentor of Wallace and Juan. They were fabulous. Anyway I was afraid coming here thinking I was different as only trainers would be here. What about you Red Head?"
She stopped and looked back in the magazaine.

 

Ace walked quietly into the library, and walked over to a table.
"I think I left some of my story paper here, and one of my books."

 

"Well, before I got here I was mostly just wandering around. I'd never left my home town in my life, so everything was so new and strange. I tried to keep myself out of trouble as much as possible, and didn't really meet to many people. But really, all the things I saw..." Dany's away stared out the window, trying to pierce the horizon.

"But there are so many thing's I haven't seen, and so many people that are out there, waiting for me to meet them!" Dany's arms flew out wildly once again, a sparkling grin on her face. She very nearly smacked someone in the head.

Blinking owlishly, Dany turned to look at the new body.

"Erm, hi?"
