Welcome to the housekeeping thread! Let's consider URPG, for a moment, as if it were a house. Now obviously URPG is constantly partying, so it would stand to reason that our house can get a bit messy. That's where this thread (and you) come in! We need your help to point out the areas of URPG that need cleaning up, or updating. In this thread, please report any of the following issues so that our wonderful mods know what to fix:​

• Typos, misspellings, or grammatical errors
• Errors or inconsistencies (if it says anywhere that Sunkern can learn Sacred Fire, report that here)
• Areas that need updating (i.e. Gym Leader List, Banned Members List, List of Referees, Ref Quiz, etc.)
• Broken images or links (Self-explanatory)
• Errors in a specific section (i.e. Refpedia, Story Ranks, etc.)
• AIM/Skype/Discord Errors (i.e. Chat not working properly, people who aren't admins that should be, etc.; keep in mind that not all of these are fixable by a mod, and some may require a fix on your end)
• Anything else that you feel needs correcting or updating as long as it pertains to the URPG Forums or Chats

Please allow some time after posting your report for the item in question to be fixed. You may double-post (as long as it isn't excessive), but please avoid spamming the same error report until it gets fixed. Also, keep in mind that any errors or inconsistencies with the UltraDex should be reported in a different thread. Thanks for your help. Together we can vacuum, polish, scrub and sweep URPG till it shines!​

 

Some updating to be done on a few lists:

Banned members list is missing Zekrom25 and Grayling Murdock (Amakiir)

Referee List contains a few people that are ineligible/questionable to ref since they have been either very inactive (in terms of reffing) or not present at all since the introduction of gen 6:

Fierce Deity, gmandiddy, Mubz, Siless, TheEvilDookie
Also not sure if Fossil Fusion and ChainReaction01 have reffed since the start of gen 6, but Chris is an LO and I've at least witnessed Chainy reffing something before so there's that.

Monbrey, Ash, Felly, Winter, Ataro, and I should be added to Ref Wages list.


Shock3600 also needs to be added to the list of people who have passed the ref quiz.

No offense meant to anyone just trying to keep things up to date! :S

 

We could use someone willing to take on updating that thread. If none of the Moderators are willing to, I'd be willing to do it and Swift said he would too, but neither of us have the ability to. If you'd like to change post ownership/have one of us repost it/move it Battles section, then one of us could take it over.

Admission into the list is done on a submission basis; however, the minimum number of moves on a Pokemon to be admitted is ten. If a Pokemon of yours has more moves taught than the Pokemon listed, feel free to fill out the following form and post in this thread.

Legend Defender Thread should have updated battle rules. Currently says "DP Revolution or BW Revolution" but should be XY Private Open/Preview

 

Right, I meant to fix that when I saw it. I'll fix that and the current LD/legend on all three forums. It has been done. Full update list: PWN link fixed on all three. Battle style is "XY Private Full or Preview". Legend Defender Champion legend changed to "Zapdos". Legend Defender and Legend Defender Legend changed to "Ash K." and "Manaphy".

 

• Added Sticky Web to list of moves that Rapid Spin removes.
• Defog removes entry hazards from both sides of the field. Screens are only removed on the receiving end of the attack (opponent's side).

"Battling in GSC, RSE, DPP, and BW Rules" should probably be changed to "Battling in Public Mode"
Might want to make a note of which made rules are incompatible with others. It says that some are, but doesn't say which unless it is only Double/Triple, in which case ignore me
Shouldn't Multi Battles also be allowed to be Triple? It says only double, but I see no reason that if 6 people wanted to it couldn't be a Triple.
Can the battle payouts also be listed in the logging battles section? It can be annoying having to go elsewhere to find it.

SOOOOO apparently Pick Up has had an in battle effect since gen 5?!

"At the end of the turn in which another Pokémon used a one-time use item (including throwing an item with Fling or using Natural Gift), a Pokémon with Pickup will collect the item if they are not holding anything. If more than one Pokémon have Pickup or Harvest, the faster Pokémon will restore an item first. If multiple items can be collected, the Pokémon will collect the item most recently consumed.
A single Pokémon's Pickup will not activate more than once per turn.
Pickup cannot collect an item if the Pokémon that consumed the item is no longer on the field at the end of the turn, or if the item has already been recovered (such as with Recycle, another Pokémon's Pickup, or Harvest). Pickup cannot collect an item that a Pokémon consumed before switching out, even if it switched back in again before the end of the turn. Pickup cannot collect items that have been destroyed with Incinerate, eaten with Bug Bite or Pluck, or knocked off with Knock Off. A popped Air Balloon cannot be collected.
A Pokémon may only have one consumed item at a time; if a Pokémon consumes an item, obtains another item and consumes it, the original consumed item cannot be collected, even if the second item is collected or restored then swapped away. EDIT: After some testing, I determined that it occurs before Burn. I can test more later to see where it falls in regards to Leftovers/Wish etc.
