OOC: Yeah, sorry about that.

"Giovanni? Good to see that he's changed for the better." Daniel said.

He thought about helping them for a few seconds, but was interupted. His Pokegear displayed the following words; POKEMON TERMINATED: 3.

This meant that 3 of Daniel's Pokemon's Pokeballs had been destroyed, most likely along with the Pokemon that were inside them. "No..." Daniel said. "I won't join you. Do your worst, Bill Nye." Daniel wouldn't try to resist any more; he was far to weak to even leave a dent without the use of Pokemon or weapons. Even if he did help, they would still either kill him or experiment on him.

Daniel spoke into his Pokegear, sending Rex and Trilroy one last text. It simply said, "I'm finished; so long."

 

OOC: Sorry for mah inactivity.

"Hey there, Proton," Joe started, but then noticed the Pokéball the Grovyle had picked up. Joe, readying a button on his remote, released the Pokémon.

Upon the Turtwig appearing, it seemed hostile, but Joe pressed the button, releasing a blue ray upon the Turtwig, which while not turning it into the robot-like things he had, made it less hostile towards him.
"Better follow me, little turtle," He commanded.

"So anyway, Jesse, and locations we should be checking out right now? Not much to do here."

 

*Things were quiet back at the hospital, a bit too quiet. The fires had died out, the power remained out, and not a single grunt had come down. Unfortunately for Arthurus, it meant that he would have to get through the hospital to find where the others had went, without a disguise. Slowly, Arthurus creeped up the stairs, quietly, silently, Tirios riding along in his pokeball. Peeking his head around into the darkened halls, he could barely make out anything but for figures in the distance. He passed that hall and continued on, weaving through the halls and stealthily eluding detection, until, that is, he entered the room he had been looking for. It seems the Power Failure hadnt only disabled security, it had enabled the backup. They had been watching him.*

*As four keepers surrounded him with their pokemon, Arthurus grimaced. One venomous Gengar, an ebon Rapidash, a metal shelled Blastoise, and a purple ivysaur all pushed him back. Tirios could take out two, but the other two would smother him. Oh well, taking some down were better than none. Calling out Tirios, Arthurus rushed the blastoise himself in an attempt to distract the large pokemon, narrowly dodging its Hydro Cannon attack. Tirios, had followed up a beautiful Earthquake with Magnitude, and sent Rapidash crumpling into a heap with its keeper. The Keepers were distracted now, And so were the Ivysaur and Blastoise. A Takedown might eliminate the Ivysaur, but he knew the blastoise had him beat without a doubt.*

*Arthurus just barely turned around, only to see Gengar launch a vicious Shadow Ball at him, forcing him to dive out of the way. Tirios, enraged by this, attacked with his head, leading with the Iron Head attack. It caught Gengar squarely in the chest, giving Tirios time to dodge another Shadow Ball, before racing towards the door. Just as he made it to the door, Tirios let out a yelp as vines tangled his feet and dragged him to the ground. Ivysaur had regained his focus and now had Tirios in a Bind, and before Ivysaur could crush his pokemon, Arthurus submitted. Dejectedly, Arthurus hung his head and grimaced as they lead him into a vehicle for transportation, a cold dark containment room probably used for pokemon. He had managed to recall Rhyhorn and sneak the Pokeball into his pantleg, but in this place, Rhyhorn's size would end up crushing him completely. The vehicle was the most recent sent to the Keeper Base, located at Mt. Battle.*

OOC: I started out behind, and as such my guy has been somewhat of an after effect of the events. Im now bringing him up into the main story along with you guys, so please be nice

"Ha, Giovanni, changed, his a keeper founding father. Oh well its a pity you wont say a fellow link"

 

"There have been other bases that have been attacked. I want you and Proton to go and see what you can find out. Also send any Links restrained and separated from their Pokemon to Mt. battle. Check them thoroughly; remove any tech they might have. If anything goes wrong, Proton has developed well as a hybrid." As Jesse was finishing up with his call with Joe, he noticed Rex's Pokegear.

"Aren't you going to get that?"

 

"what... Oh yeah, my pokegear." Rex hadn't noticed his pokegear received a message, he we to busy thinking of a way to get Daniel's pokemon out without revealing himself to be a link, rex looked at the screen. "I'm finished, so long." it said, Rex was suprised, he never thought Daniel would be the one to give up "You ain't done yet, I still need your help." Rex typed into his pokegear, which he then put back into his pocket.

 

Daniel read the message. "If you can send me a Pokemon to bust out of the prison room, I can help. Otherwise, I can't." he texted.

 

"... Damn." Rex said, he either had to completely blow his cover or let daniel give up, after three seconds of thinking, Rex put on his normal clothes on, killed the scientists by throwing knives into their throats (letting Jesse live), picked up a laptop computer, pressed the release button, said "CLUCKY, RAIGUY, SUPAFLY, DANIEL IS IN DANGER, FOLLOW ME!" and ran to the prison room with the pokemon.

 

"'Bout time! I was worried you forgot about me!" Daniel said, "Raiguy, use thunder wave on that Pokenazi!"

Raiguy was more than happy to, launching the attack at Drahzar.

He ran out of the room with his Pokemon close behind. "Okay, what do you need help with?"

 

"a friend of mine was kidnapped about a year about, his name was Karas. I've traced him to this base, I need help getting him out... He was used in one of their experiments." Rex replied as he snapped the neck of a keeper who had passed by.

 

"Karas? Dude, he escaped last week. Surprisingly, Giovanni helped him." Daniel looked around once more. "There's one thing I wanna do first. We can't let the hybrids stay locked up in here. They're innocent people...just...mutant..."

"The hybrid lab is on the second floor. We need to free them all." Daniel said, taking a gun from the corpse.

 

"I know my second mission was to save several rangers who were kidnapped and taken here, I know that they had to have been experimented on... Wait... You said Karas escaped... With giovanni... Damn, now I have to find the man who's been in hiding for a long time." Rex said, now running to a staircase.

 

Daniel ran up the staircase with Rex. "Don't worry, I happen to know a close family member of Giovanni's..."

Daniel opened a door to a room that had many large tubes, filled with hybrids. They made Daniel sick inside. "Ugh...I'd hate to be one of those. Erm...no offense to any of your ranger friends."

Daniel shot the group of Keepers that were guarding the machines. "Too easy!" he said, walking towards them. All of a sudden, the door locked itself and the room began to fill up with knockout gas. "AW, not again..." Daniel said. Supafly attemped to blow away the gas, but there was simply too much of it. Daniel and his Pokemon were out within seconds.

 

Rex put his tux over his nose and mouth, it didn't stop him from breathing in the gas, it slowed it though. He walked up to a tube, it contained his childhood friend Crawford, who was combined with a roserade "god, what the hell did they do to ya Crawford?" Rex said, he then passed out. (Crawford combined with a roserade... I bet it would have a nice hair style)

 

When Daniel finally woke up, him and Rew were stuck in two previously empty tubes and their Pokemon were nowhere to be found. "Ugh...my head..." Daniel was thankful that he hadn't been experimented on yet, although he felt as though he was coming dangerously close.

A Keeper looked at them with a smirk on his face. He took out a phone and called Jesse. "Hello boss, I seem to have found two Links running amuck in the base. I asume you wish to go through standard procuedures?"

"Rex..." Daniel said, "I think we're f***ed."

 

"yup, unless my ninjas can get here within the next three seconds, we are completely screwed." Rex replied.

 

OCC: You really miss a lot when you spend a day recovering from sleep deprivation lol i guess i can but some thinly veiled backstory in here

Dodging the knives Jesse was about to shoot Rex. But instead of immediately shooting the man, he went into a state of shock. His "Pokemon went over to help him out."

Jesse watched on as Proton just laid there. He looked like he wasn't in any pain. That's until they flipped the switch. Proton burst with pain, howling away like Jesse never heard before.

Jesse went into a fit of rage attacking the scientists, trying to figure out how to shut the machine off, but it was too late. He was surrounded by a horde of Keepers.

All of a sudden, a flash of light blinded everyone and someone pulled Jesse to safety.

Outside Mt. Battle, Jesse's eyes recovered. He saw his rescuer, a fellow Link dressed in a Team Rocket outfit. Still filled with anger he rushed back towards the base.

"Jesse, get a hold of yourself! You have to get outta here." It was Daniel, albiet much younger.

"Not without my brother," Jesse yelled as he ran into the base. It was the last time Jesse remembered that he was a Link.

Jesse fell to his knees. "What..." he mumbled feeling like time had passed.

Still unsure about what the vision ment, he replied, "No, I want to take care of them myself.

OCC: won't be on again for a few hours

 

Daniel looked at Rex in disbeilif. (Or at least he tried to, the tube was blocking his vision.) "Woah, you have ninjas?"

Before Rex could respond, the Keeper let out an evil laugh. "Have it your way sir; goodbye." he said, "Be lucky you have the pleasure of getting dealt with by the admin himself. It'll give you a few more precious moments to live."

The Keeper left the room, this time making sure to lock the doors. "Man, it's been about three years since I was last here, and boy has it changed a LOT." Daniel recalled why he had first come to Mt. Battle.

"Team Rocket was also huge at the time, and The Keepers wished to merge with their organization. Giovanni happily complied, and hasn't been seen since, leaving the Keeper boss in charge."

"We were on a search and rescue mission. Anyways, I had just joined the Links, and my partner and I were attempting to get inside the base to rescue some of the hostages that were inside. We managed to get in by stealing some Team Rocket uniforms, but our cover was blown by a certain ginger with abandonment issues."

"I attemped to escape, but Jesse was determined to save is brother from the Keepers. He was unsucsessful. I managed to get him out in time, but he went back for his brother and I never saw him again. The mission was considered a failure, and I was almost kicked out of the Links."

Daniel paused. "Most of the members who opposed the Keepers were excecuted, so we're assuming that's what happened to Jesse's brother."

"man, silver is just ruining everyone, isn't he... And if I had ninjas, they already would have saved me." Rex said.

 

"You know him? Regardless, he's the only way we'll be able to find Giovanni and Karas." Daniel said, "HEY, POKENAZIS! CAN WE GET SOME DAMN FOOD IN HERE? NOT ALL OF US ARE CRYOGENICALLY FROZEN, AND I HAVEN'T EATEN SINCE I BLEW UP YOUR LAST BASE!"

Daniel doubted anybody could hear him.
