    EDIT: Considering that Zeferin stole my thunder for the first RP...I guess I'm going to have to settle for first Epic RPG then. Well, anyway, it is with great honor that I make the very first (Epic) RPG thread on the new board! I hope that this board will take off and become a great success, and I'd like to thank HKim and all the other moderators for listening to our suggestions and implimenting what we felt would be a good addition to the URPG. So without a further ado, let's get this show on the road!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Overview
    Amply named, the plot of "Revolution" details the start of the trainers of the URPG coming together for the first time for a common goal (in this case, the plot below). Meant to encourage all members to join and introduce their characters into the world, the starting plot will be adequate enough, and hopefully with some collaborative story telling, the plot will grow further into something much more involving.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Plot

    The world, including all the political regions of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and all others not mentioned, is home to the vast world of Pokemon. These creatures are both friend and resource. When a person needs help, a Pokemon is sure the answer the call, much more likely than a human. Whether they be pets, partners, or livestock, Pokemon are the answer to both our physical and emotional needs. In this world, the barriers of which we are accustomed to in our own world do not apply. There is no famine, wars are unheard of in the present day, and peace is a common occurance in all regions. Needless to say, an almost perfect world.
    However, just as all magnificant kingdoms will eventually crumble and give way to time, so too must the peace of the Pokemon world. While there is usually little strife in the realm of Pokemon, man is sure to be there to corrupt what little purity there is left in the world. One group in particular is the true cause of the turmoil that is slowly and silently creeping across the vast expanses of the Pokemon world. Regions are falling to them. Pokemon are dying because of them...with innocent people to soon die by extension
    This threat of peace to the Pokemon lands comes in the form of the Keepers. The embodiment of all xenophobia and biggot belifs, a group in which all are human, and in which all are 'superior.' The human body is to be worshipped. The population to be viewed as Gods. Humans give definition to the universe. Without humans, there would be no 'them'.

    What they want...is the annihilation of the Pokemon race.

    They do not view Pokemon as slaves. Nor do they see them as instruments of self gain. Pokemon are merely pests in their eyes, vermin from which any strife in this semi-perfect world is caused. They are a threat to humans with their mystical powers, and regardless of the fact that humans were at one point in history related to Pokemon, they do not care. In their eyes, humans have surpassed their ancestors. Humans are the Gods. Pokemon are not.

    What little can be said of this group? They are strong...they are cruel...and they are effective. Regions have been taken over by them. Pokemon...and people, have died by them. This is a group that does not care for life or power. This is a threat that the Pokemon world has encountered only once or twice in its history...a war of ideology. Do Pokemon deserve to live? And even if they do, must they bow before the humans?
    Luckily for the World, there is hope. This hope comes in the form of a union between the two opposing forces that threaten the very existence of life as one may know it. A loosely associated rag-tag team of trainers and their Pokemon, willing to fight for their freedom of living in harmony with eachother, they call themselves the Links And while they may not be particulary skilled as is, they are in essense, the only hope for the Pokemon world. The Elite Four of each region are too hung on politics to assert any action, while the Champions are nowhere to be found. Everyday trainers are too scared to fight, as they fear the deaths of both themselves and their Pokemon.
    With no formal training behind their backs, the only thing the Links have to go on is their love of Pokemon, and their unorthodox tactics in which they confront the Keepers day in and day out. The Links are not heroes...they are saviors. And hopefully, with enough of whatever it is that's keeping them alive...they just may stay alive long enough to become legends.

    Rules

    Epic huh? (Don't answer that) Anyway, these are the basic rules of the RPG.

    1. No Flaming or Bashing of any kind. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE! I want to make sure that this is a pleasant environment for everyone, so as to both attract more people and to validate this boards entire existance. SO PLAY NICE!

    2. No Double Posting. UNLESS you've just posted your sign-up sheet and then posted your RP afterwards, thats acceptable

    3. Minimum of 200 characters per post. HKims rule, listen to the big man. Otherwise you won't get cookies.

    4. More of a guidline than a rule. Once you sign-up in the thread, you may begin RPing immediately, unless told so otherwise by myself or a Moderator

    5. Obtaining Pokemon in this RPG is only acceptable if you have that Pokemon in the actual URPG outside of this board. Any evolutions or captures that take place in the RPG fall under this category as well. Alternative means of obtaining Pokemon (i.e eggs, trade) are also acceptable, however, you must have that Pokemon IN THE ACTUAL URPG. That said, you must also have a URPG account and be registered in the 'Trainer Stats' board. Locations are as followed...

    6. In accordance with the above rule, any and all character battles in this RPG are allowed to be settled in the Forum Battle section of the URPG at the request of the participants. Any outcomes WILL BE VALID, and WILL count towards your trainer stats.

    7. Be creative! It's a game guys! Have fun!

    Sign-Up Sheet Details

    [IMG]

    VERY IMPORTANT: In this RPG, players may choose to play for either the Keepers (the bad guys) or the Links (the good guys) The differences between what the two can do are as followed...

    Links

    -Fight for the protection of the Pokemon world
    -Can use all Pokemon normally as they would appear in the URPG
    -YOU MAY have more than six pokemon. However, they all need to be Pokemon that you currently have, and ew pokemon must be incorporated through at least a little bit of role play (No magically appearing Dragonite during a battle or something)
    -Because the Links are basically a rebellion group, there will be animosity towards them. Keepers are natural enemies to the Links, and keep in mind that if a similar situation were to happen in real life, normal civilians would also be weary of your presense. Therefore, Any and all Keepers will automatically attack you on site and vice-versa
    -Not much else besides that...yet. I will accept comments and suggestions if you guys want something to change in the Rules. Or, maybe you can change it through RP, who knows :)

    Keepers

    -Fight for the annihilation of the Pokemon race.
    -"Normal" Pokemon don't cut it for the Keepers, since the Keepers are trying to...you know, oust the Pokemon. However, because of the fact that all RPr's must include Pokemon of the URPG, all trainers still must register their selected Pokemon.
    -Instead of "regular pokemon," all Keepers will be forced to suppliment their use with a breed of "modified pokemon." Because the Keepers believe that Humans are superior, they of course will want to change nature to fit their own views on how the world should be shaped. Modificaiton also serves as a way for the Keepers to keep the Pokemon in check and to make them do whatever they say.
    -That being said, there are no true limits to what a Keeper can modify their pokemon with (hell, you could put a rail gun on a Torkoal and call it a day.) Some examples come in the form of, but not exclusive to:
    • Mind Control
    • Weapon Attatchments (of almost any form)
    • Shadow Pokemon
    • Genetic Modification
    • Selective Breeding (breeding for any less than desireable traits in the average pokemon)
    • Even a different concept of how Pokemon present themselves (How a Charizard in real life would act, being an angry, possibly violent animal that also happens to shoot flames and fly's)

    Because the definition of both Keeprs and Links are kept vague for the sake of roleplaying, any form of modification of Pokemon is left entirely up to the player. However, all modifcations must be registered along with the Pokemon, and I will personally review this and determine whether or not such a thing is fair to the opposing players.
    (I better not see any nukes attatched to Arceus or something...)

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    So with all that in mind, the sign-up sheet is as follows.
    In Character Name: (whatever you want to be called)
    Affiliation: (Keeper or Link)
    Pokemon: (All Pokemon you own, up to 6, can be registered)
    Description: (Can be of you, your pokemon, or both)
    Background: (purely optional, and again, can be about
    both)
    -Remember that once you post your application, you can start RPing right away!
    (As a friendly reminder, unless there is at least somewhat of a distribution between the two opposing sides, things may be a little on the bland side. If there is a majority and a minority, that's ok, but if there are no members on one side, then the RP will have to compensate, which it is designed to do, but it'd be so much more fun if you didn't have to.)
    I'll get in on this.
    Just a thought, maybe the Keepers could have access to technology instead of / in addition to "non-Pokemon", as that seems more plausible, i.e. guns, tanks, personal shielding, genetic modification, etc. Also, are the "non-Pokemon" actually Pokemon, like warped or Shadow versions, or are they actually a different kind of supernatural species? Because, if they're Pokemon, you'll also have to include some reason as to why the Keepers can use the "non-Pokemon" in some way, i.e. hypnotism, selective breeding, mind control devices, etc, although this could be a plot device to be used in the rp along the way, and this would tie in nicely with their mindset.
    Besides, guns and genetic manipulation all exist in the Pokemon universe :p
    Edit: HAHAHAHAHA Arceus uses Atom Bomb! It's super effective!
    Anyway, without any further waffling:
    In Character Name: Jathan Einherjar
    Affiliation: Link
    Pokemon: At time of signup, I have a Kirlia, a Starly, and a Caterpie. However, I won't start the rp with these, so that I can attain Pokemon in the rp at a natural rate.
    Description: Jathan has brown eyes, medium-length brown hair and is a bit overweight. However, he is very intelligent and can do wonderful things with computers. He is also very loyal to his friends and family, and has a strong sense personal justice that he tries to live by, even if it conflicts with other's views. He wears cream-coloured shorts, a black t-shirt, carries a very large pack full of gadgets he designed himself, and he attaches his PokeBalls to a bracer-like system of straps around his right arm. He also carries a family heirloom - a larger-than-average hunting knife.
    Background: Jathan lives in a secluded forest town about ninety kilometres from the nearest sizable city. His parents are farmers, and he thought he would be too, until he found a lost Ralts which he gave a home to. He recently learned of the horrors the Keepers inflict on Pokemon worldwide, and wishes to leave and try to find the organisation known as the "Links", a fabled group of rebels that oppose the Keepers. Despite his hatred of the Keepers, he sees no problem with the technology they use, as long as it is used in the right way.
    Faction: Links
    Personality: Jonny is a charming, fun-loving young man. He almost always has a smile on his face, and he will make a joke about almost anything. He has a bit of a temper, but it only shows up when someone makes him incredibly angry. Jonny is usually well-composed and knows how to handle himself in almost every situation.
    Appearance: Jonny dresses casually when out in the field. He typically wears a tight black t-shirt, which shows off his athletic build, and a pair of white warmup pants. He also wears a pair of white lowtop basketball shoes and a pair of amber aviator sunglasses, along with a silver watch and a black sharktooth necklace.     Awright. Looks Epic. Although I agree with CR. Guns, or manipulation of some sort.
    Name: Joe Ontarrg
    Faction: Keepers
    Age (JUST BECAUSE): 17
    Personality: Joe is secretive, enigmatic, sadistic, and cynical. He tends to make sarcastic jokes out of just about anything that he comes across. He holds himself close to his posessions, mind, and anything that can be useful to him.
    Appearance: Black messy hair, eyes that are strangely red on the left half of each iris and blue on the right, A black zipperless hoodie that has a front pocket that somehow always manages to keep things organized in it, Blue jeans, and black tennis shoes. If you want a less accurate but somehow more awesome visual, see the trainer on the card in my sig. (C/P'd from my National Park signup)
    Tools (Shall be edited during adventure):
    Salamander (Male Nidoking)
    Phoenix (Male Pidgeotto)
    Salander's Appearance differences: Where there's usually purple, there's black
    Phoenix's Appearance Differences: It has a large, cragged scar across its left eye and beak.
    Misc on Pokemon: Joe has a gray controller taht is aprroximately 7x3x2 inches in size that has many knobs, switches, and other things on them that control his Pokemon in just about any way.
    Background/Bio: Joe was raised by Team Rocket, captured in the basement of Celadon Game Corner. He, over the course of three years, left the group, raised a full team of Pokemon, disbanded Team Rocket, and lived alone for three years before he simply got his Pokemon and posessions stolen by a few people who revived the situation. He eventually found himself living in Mauville City. From there, he found about the Keepers, and fell into their ways. He changed his Pokemon into what he thought was no longer such. They were corrupted.
    His Pokemon are ones that he managed to salvage from getting stolen.
    Well, guess it's my turn to sign-up. How sad would it be if I didn't?
    Name: Trilroy
    Affiliation: Neutral (Because I am RP creator, and for the sake of fair play, I will not be on any side. I will interact with both sides, but am not bound by the HAVE TO ATTACK ON SITE clause. Ergo, depending on my mood, I'll help whichever side I choose fit or needing to receive it)
    Pokemon:
    Duke (M/Hitmonchan)
    Switch (M/Heracross)
    Description: Somewhat long brown hair, with matchning brown eyes and a decent tan. Around 5'10", with various scars on different parts of his body, mostly scratches. He always can be seen doing some sort of training with his fighting type pokemon, as they constantly demand attention. His everyday guise is that of the everyman, however his personality deep within is that of cunning, resourcefulness, and calculations. He has a deep fondness and love for his pokemon. However, its his belief that it is a trainers job to protect his Pokemon, and that means sometimes doing things you don't nessecarily want to do.
    Background: Born in Solaceon Town, he grew up knowing vast fields and meadows where all sorts of Pokemon roamed around. And after seventeen years of living there, some few months ago, he happened across his then new partner Tyrogue (Duke) After vast training a near death experiences, Duke evolved, and Trilory met his new pokemon Heracross (Switch) Now, after have a somewhat respectable team on his belt, Trilroy now roams the country sides and tries to live out his lifes work of becoming a better trainer. However, with the new developments of both the Links and the Keepers, and their increasing effect on his everyday life, he is forced to make tougher and tougher decisions on how to deal with these two very different groups.
    It's time to get this thing started...let the Revolution begin!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    "Switch, get down from there!"
    The grass was emerald on either side of the long, winding dirt road, and the sky was crimson to match. As the evening light began to trickle away and give way to the night, birds could be seen everywhere, flocking to their nests for some much needed rest. Animals and Pokemon alike were scrambling to return to their dens, almost as if they had a strange aversion to the darkness that was soon to come. All this, while a large, solid Heracross dangled from a rather large hickory tree, it's master chastising it as it froliced.
    "Switch, so help me god! I will beat you down from there! This is the third tree we've stopped at in the past hour, and at this rate we'll never make it to Orre!"
    The quirky bug, ignoring his trainers orders, climbed up fully onto the branch it dangled from, and swiftly dug its talons into the bark. Scraping off bark and digging up wood, the Heracross latched his tight mouth around the hole as soon as sweet sap started to ooze from the wound. Sighing, Trilroy gave into his Pokemon's strong will and decided to sit down at the base of the tree. Reaching on his belt and grabbing a Pokeball, he pressed the button in the middle and released his partner inside.
    Emerging from the light of the Pokeball, the image of Duke, his Hitmonchan, took form. Red fists, crew-cut like formation on his head, and a kilt-like skirt, the fighting Pokemon was an impressive sight. And as instantly as he appeared, so too did he fall to the ground next to Trilroy, and pulled his knees in near to himself.
    "At least I can count on you buddy..." Trilroy exhaled.
    Duke nodded in confirmation and scooted in closer to his trainer. He put his head closer to Trilroy, and Trilroy did the same. Their two heads supporting eachother up, the two of them relaxed, and watched the night start to appear from beyond the mountains that outlined the Orre region far off in the distance. The sounds of Zubat and Murkrow filled the air, as the night Pokemon shifted with the day. The suckling of Switch, loud and ignorant of those around him, complimented the scene admirably. Trilroy sat back and laughed to himself in blissful amusement. Duke obliged with the same reaction.
    After their giddiness waned and the dark of night started to become more and more apparant, the laughter from Trilroy ceased, and in its place came the seriousness of their perdicament. The atmosphere of the area shifted as well, to which Switch took notice. Slowly but surely, it halted its sap snack, and after wiping its mouth of residue, flew down from its perch and found a seat next to his partner Pokemon. Together, the three of them sat. And together, the three of them waited. For what, no one really knew.
    "You guys," Trilroy started, breaking the silence, "You realize that we're almost at the gates of Orre?"
    His two pokemon turned their heads to the right and nodded at him slowly in appreciation of their situation. Trilroy saw this, and in turn, he shook his head.
    "You realize that Orre is a Keeper stronghold? And that even if we lay low, we may still get into serious trouble?"
    Again his Pokemon nodded, and again Trilroy shook his head. His Pokemon were stubborn, just as he had trained them, and they would do whatever it was that they thought was just. Realizing this, and after gazing at his Pokemon in examination, he finally gave a sigh and leaned back against the tree where they sat. His Pokemon mimiced his motions and they too leaned back, their heads turned towards the far off mountians, and their eyes staring at no particular point. The three of them sat. The three of them waited. What for...who's to say?

    "I know I can count on you..."

    Oh! Much fun awaits!

    Name: Daniel Wiseman

    Affiliation: Links, unless I'm allowed to be more neutral

    Pokemon: (As of now)
    Raiguy- a male Raichu and Daniel's first Pokemon. Naturally mischevious and amazing at battling, even without instruction from its trainer. Too clever to get caught, and just too darn fast to catch.

    Clucky- a female blaziken. Quick to act in certain situations.

    Supafly- a female Pidgeot. Valiant, noble, with a strong sense of justice.

    Age: 13

    Height: 5'0

    Description: Look at the avatar, and try to ingnore the ridiculous face XD.
    He puts on a longcoat and sunglasses as a disguise on occasion.

    Personallity: His personallity varies with his mood, but usually he's energetic with a good sense of humor. He speaks some Pokemon, although not fluently. He refers to the keepers as "Pokenazis" due to their unjust treatment towards all Pokemon. When angry, he will pick his Raichu up by the tail and use it as an electric mace.
    Despite his age, Daniel is capable of fighting back against pretty much anybody. That said, he'll give even the toughest of crimials a fair chance, and tries to look past the fact that...well, the fact that they're criminals, and see things from their point of view...needless to say, he's not a great judge of character. He likes to act as a double agent, as he has done with Team Rocket in the past.

    Background: Born in Pallet Town, Daniel set out become the world's greatest trainer. (Gee, how original.) He has been around the different regions time and time again, which means he has aquired much knowledge of the Pokemon world. Once he heard about the keepers, he decided to join up with the Links (pun TOTALLY intended) to fight for the lives of all the world's Pokemon.

    Joe looked out onto the streets of Mauville from the gym roof. The red shutters beneath him supported him and the Nidoking well. The area was a crossway for many Pokemon trainers. The bright sun glared on the grey controller in front of him. A large reptile stood motionless behind him. There were no pupils in its eyes. The tail stood motionless. The white belly did not breathe. The mouth did not move. It was as if it was a statue.

    On the controller, after laughing sadistically at the Ratatta next to a youngster in a yellow shirt, Joe flipped a switch next to the label "Nidoking" that was probably an on/off switch and pressed a small button under a label. The label said "Poison Sting". Suddenly, the Nidoking that stood behind him started breathing. Its eyes glew red, and the Earth beneath the Ratatta rose from the ground, leaving the trainer behind. The Ratatta shivered in fear, not understanding what was going on.

    The hunk of ground flipped and shoved itself back where it was, taking the Ratatta with it. It was dead. The trainer ran away extremely fast, barely comprehending what had just happened to him.

    After finishing his maniacal laugh, Joe stared at the controller like a new toy.
    "What shall make suffering next? Ooh, Poison sting? Nothing beats the look of pain on those Pokemon's faces..."

    Joe switched Nidoking's switch to "off" and the machine-like thing stopped, going back to its previous state.

    "I love my job."

    "let's see... The building the keepers own here in goldenrod are... The casino... The radio tower... The mall... And the underground...crap that's almost half of the important buildings in goldenrod, almost all of johto has been taken over, crap!" Rex said to himself, he was sitting down on a bench in the national park with his dodrio "ok bandersnatch, I think we need to leave befo-" in the middle of his sentence he had heard someone yell "GET HIM, HE'S A LINK!" Rex looked in the direction of the scream and saw a man pointing at him with two keepers next to him "oh $&!! they found us, let's run bandersnatch!" said Rex as he jumped onto his dodrio's back, bandersnatch started to run, leapt over a fence and ran into a forest, he got off bandersnatch in the middle of the forest "I think we lost them... I'm gonna contact the base an' tell them about what we saw." said Rex, he got out his styler "ahh the good ol' days, how I miss them so." Rex pressed a button on the styler and put in against his ear like a phone.
    "hello...hello...come on rhythmi, stop screwing with me!"
    "sorry Rex, you know the rules, but whatever, any news about the keepers?"
    "well, they pretty much own the johto region."
    "oh man, it seems like there's more and more of them each day."
    "agreed, man I hope us links can beat them."
    "same here."
    "...hey rhythmi, what would you suggest I do if I was to say that the keepers were chasing after me right now?"
    "hang up and get out of johto."
    "great minds think alike."
    Rex pushed the button he had pressed earlier, this time it turn off the phone part of the styler and then he put the styler back in a holster on his belt.
    "I guess we should go."
    "dorio."
    "... You think so?"
    "rio."
    "ok then, we'll take short rest, and then we'll go to hoenn, I doubt the keepers have taken it over yet... Although, with Steven and Wallace gone... No Rex, don't even think like that."
    So Rex and bandersnatch went to sleep

    "Well, they pretty much own the Johto region."
    "Oh man, it seems like there's more and more of them each day."
    "Agreed, man I hope us links can beat them."
    "Same here."

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The quality of the audio was not very good at all, and Trilroy could tell that the communication was from far off. From his PokeGear he listened intently, and through eavesdropping in on the conversation, he could tell what was going on.
    "The Keepers have taken over Golden Rod..." Trilroy said quiety, just loud enough for his pokemon to hear.
    The two fighting types turned and stared with worried eyes at eachother as Trilroy continued to listen, until, after a few moments, the entire communication abruptly ended. Taking a second to gather all the information, he slowly shut his PokeGear and returned it to its holster.
    Turning to face his Pokemon, Trilroy had already plucked his backpack from off his shoulders and was rummaging around for something. After searching for a few seconds, he pulled out from the left pocket what seemed to be a card.
    "This is our pass into Orre," He said, flashing it to his Pokemon for them to see, "It's a forged trainer card with information that will let us into any region."
    His pokemon looked at him and seemed to understand, or at least Duke did. Switch on the other hand seemed to have a confused look on his face, but still, he understood the situation at hand. Trilroy took the card and put it into his back pocket, while simultaneously flinging his backpack over his shoulders again.
    "It can only be used once. Why they scan it as we walk through the gate, it gets put in the trainer database, and we'll be stuck in the system forever."
    Trilroy looked at his pokemon, and then turned to face the mountains of Orre behind him. Thinking about what was currently happening, and what this meant for him and his pokemon, he decided that he was going to need help with the matter. And more than likely, others needed his help as well. But how was he going to communicate with people he didn't even know existed?
    Quickly his resourcefulness kicked in, and he knew instinctively what to do. Reaching for his PokeGear, he started both the Radio and Phone applications on it at the same time. It was a stretch, but he could possibly try to broadcast a phone message across as many regions as he could. Hopefully they could hear it, just as he heard the other trainer all the way in Golden Rod. He might be able to get at least one persons attention. That would be enough.
    "Attention..." He started awkwardly into the Gear, his face visibally distraught as he tried to find the right words to say. "Anyone who knows what I'm talking about...I'm here to help. And, I also need your help. Don't give away your position, and I won't give away mine...but...contact me? There are friends in more places than you know, friends that are willing to help eachother. I'm not a Link but...we can fight this...we can win..."
    I was walking down the streets of Viridian City minding my own buisness. Nothing out of the ordinary, nothing out of place. The keepers, as far as I knew, didn't know I supported the links, and even then, there weren't any in this part of Kanto. I had to keep on my toes at all times, however. I was wearing a pair of sunglasses and a longcoat over my clothes to conseal my identity, just in case. My Raichu was on my shoulder, as always.
    Understand that I prefer to take a more neutral position, and that I'll only fight against the Keepers if the other links and I get attacked. Part of this is that stealth is more important to me then any other virtue.
    I noticed my Pokegear ringing. "Attention..." the mysterious caller spoke as I picked it up, "Anyone who knows what I'm talking about...I'm here to help. And, I also need your help. Don't give away your position, and I won't give away mine...but...contact me? There are friends in more places than you know, friends that are willing to help eachother. I'm not a Link but...we can fight this...we can win..."
    I pressed the return call button and waited. The Pokegear rang softly as I waited for him to pick up. "Hello? Who is this? Are we being listened to?" I said into the phone quietly, so that nobody else could hear. I knew not to trust this man unless I was absolutely certain he wasn't with the keepers. "It's okay, I'm not a Link either." I lied.
    Trilroy's PokeGear started to ring just as he began to cross the threshold of the Orre gate. His pokemon long since returned, he was the only one in sight, and by extension the only one to hear nosie. Quickly and carefully he opened up the gear to find out who was calling, and also to see if it was indeed a response to his previous message.
    "Hello...Who is...being listened...?"
    "...okay, I'm...a Link..."
    The voice was loud but the speech was even more corrupt than the last message he heard. The communication must have been even further away this time, but one thing he clearly heard was that the person was a Link. Or at least, he thought it was. Could these people even understand his own message? Or were they just as broken and incomprehensible as well? Perhaps something was near him, jamming his incoming signals.
    That's when it suddenly dawned on him. Orre WAS a Keeper stronghold after all. They probably were using radio jammers to control the entire area, and make sure no one could phone in for help, Link or otherwise. Outgoing signals were probably affected as well, although he couldn't be sure. The most he could do right now was to try and establish contact. Perhaps the other people around him could help? Maybe they weren't even far away, maybe it was all just bad signal quality!
    "Whoever this is," He started, putting PokeGear close to his mouth, "And whoever else is currently listening to this. I have just currently entered into the Orre region. Keepers are everywhere. The place was a dump before, but now it's even worse."
    Looking up from where he stood as he talked into the Gear, Trilroy got his bearings and took a good look at the area around him. The Orre gate behind him, which he had passed through only moments before to enter the region, was a complete mess. On the outside of the giant steel gateway, visible marks of wear and tear were evident, and scorch and slash marks covered the entire exterior. What was once an impressive check-point in the mountains was now a pitiful excuse of a fence. The inside was still amazing, considering that the Keepers probably took the time to revamp the inside before the exterior, but you would never have guessed from the way the area looked. Needless to say, the scene was similar all around.
    "Anyway," he said, turning his attention back to the Gear, "I'm here on some official 'business'. Details are not nessecary. All you need to know is that they're of the pokemon loving persuasion. If you catch my drift, then you know it's very important. Any help is needed...all is appreciated. When you get here, you'll get the details. Until then, this is the last transmission..."
    Fearing the the Keepers were monitoring any limited amount of radios that were still allowed within the region, he quickly cut the feed and returned his Gear back to its holster. He turned his head around, and from the corners of his eyes he could see a few of the doorway guards that he had passed minutes ago, eying him suspiciously. The guns on their sides had no velcrot flap over them for safety purposes, and Trilroy surmised that they were kept that way for the 'quick draw'. Shoot first. Don't ask questions later.
    Taking a deep breath, he turned around again. Into the unkown Orre region he began to track. Into the dangerous lair of the Keepers.
    OOC: Decided I like that centering thingy, Trilroy. Gonna use it.
    Joe's Pokégear, which was almost always silent, rang in his back pocket. He bolted to an upright position and pulled it out, flipping it open. Putting the small red device to his ear, Joe managed a voice that pulled out of his usually patronizing voice.
    "H-hello? Who is this?" he asked timidly, with a fake studder.
    It was already static. It was too late to answer.
    Sighing, Joe returned the Pokégear to his pocket and leaped from the building. Landing in some grass, Joe waited for a moment, looking into the streets. He pressed a small button on his remote that was labelled "Return". The Nidoking that was on the roof started glowing with crackling, purple electricity. Growing progressively louder, the electricity enveloped Salamander, and shrank into a small ball of energy that flew right into the remote, which glew for a moment, and then returned to its normal color.
    "What to do, what to do..." Joe pondered to himself in a singsong voice. Now sitting in the bushes, he wondered about his situation. West of Hoenn was almost completely taken over. Mauville supported Links heavily, but as such a small town, the Keepers did little else other than assigning Joe there. He was a strong fighter, with his Tools along with other weapons that he didn't frequently keep with him. But although most who passed through the area were young trainers of little prowess, there were people every once in a while that passed by that were obscenely strong, entering Mauville gym and leaving minutes later, a badge in hand. Little did those people know that the league was having troubles with running correctly. If Ever Grande was taken over by Keepers, the system would probably shut down.
    Standing and walking into the busy street, Joe pulled his Pokégear out again. Attempting to trace the phone call from before, Joe looked at a few menus without success.
    "Oh, I will find whoever did that. There's always a reason to call me. Or else." Joe muttered to himself, walking back into the alley between a gym, and bushes lining a fence.
    "Oh, so bored, so bored~..."
    Daniel listened intently to the PokeGear intently. "Orre...region...Keepers everywhere... here... 'business' ... they're... pokemon loving persuasion. If you catch... drift... it's very important... help is needed...all is appreciated. ...here, you'll get the details... this is... last transmission..." To Daniel, this sounded like gibberish, but he knew now that the Keepers in Orre were more numerous than ever.
    It was a long trip from Kanto to Orre, with the entire region of Hoenn blocking the way. The Links had access to transportation that would get him there in a day flat, but at least one stop would be needed for refueling. Mawvile City, with its many link supporters, would be perfect.
    Daniel called up a jet, and in fourteen hours, he was at Mawvile City Airport. He disguised himself immediately as he got there, and returned Raiguy to his Pokeball to remain discrete. "Nobody knows my identity, so I'd better keep it that way." He thought.
    OOC: rofl nice time shift Lightning. Wish I had the skills to travel three regions in a sentence :p
    P.S I just noticed that my last post was at 3:33, and it also happened to be the post where I entered Orre...halfway to hell? We'll find out!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    "You think the message got through?"

    Trilroy stared down at the minimized pokeballs that colleceted in the palm of his hand. His walking was kept to a slow crawl across the beautifully paved rocks of Phenac City, one of the fiew areas in the Desert region that was blessed with water. Tiny droplets sprinkled the air as they flew off from the springs that were peppered through out the entire city. The mist covered his clothes and pokeballs, but Trilroy was too busy talking to his silenced pokemon to care about such trifle things.

    "I hope it did," he spoke to his pokemon again, "Otherwise our job is going to be a whole lot harder than I anticipated"

    Trilroy looked up from his hand and saw for the first time the current condition of Phenac. It seemed relatively spared from any true conflict that might otherwise have resulted from conflict between Keepers and pokemon. This made sense, as Orre was never very popular with Pokemon anyway. The Keepers didn't have to do much to drive what little species remained away from the region. Either that or they killed them...the latter seemed much more plausible. Keepers were not known for their sympathy, if they even had any at all.

    Scanning the area further, he tried to locate a certain something in particular. People walked by him, as well as guards armed to the teeth, but nothing that passed seemed to satisfy his goal.

    "In you go guys..." He said quietly to his pokeballs, tucking them into his pocket instead of his usual belt. "You'll be a whole lot safer in here."

    "Indeed they will be..."

    Trilroy's head sprang up. A short, portly man with average clothes and a serious face stood in front of him, a brief case in his hand. Immediately Trilroy stood up straight, as he had found what he was looking for. The man nodded in affirmation, and with a gesture of his head, motioned for Trilroy to follow him. He agreed, and the two of them walked in tangent towards the back alleys of a cluster of what could be seen as houses in close proximity to eachother.

    "The code?" The other man asked. He didn't seem worried that Trilroy wouldn't know it though, as he opened a door as he said it.

    "Harmony for all. Death for the right." Trilroy said the memorized speech.

    Satisfied, the man invited Trilroy inside. Obliging, he walked through the doorway, and the other man followed. The door closed behind them...

    OCC: Just tryin to speed things up, I'm sure you don't want four posts about me waiting on a plane. Should it have been longer? Also, it was just one region XD
    ====
    Daniel walked around Mawvile City. It would be a few hours before they could leave for Orre, so he decided to look around a bit. "Might as well pick up something for Mother's Day..." he said, walking into the Pokemart. "Gotta keep an eye out for Pokenazis..." He looked around.

    "Daniel is it?" a strange man said, "We 'ave a package for ya'." Handing Daniel a large box, he ran out, as if he was in a hurry.

    "Odd..." said Daniel. Inside the package was a single Pokeball. "Of course, how could I forget you..." Daniel exited the mart, threw the Pokeball in the air, and a Blaziken popped out. Clucky's hands flared up as she streched her long limbs. "IKEN!" she crowed loudly. Although Daniel could barely understand her, he was pretty sure it meant, "Finally!"
    Needless to say, Clucky wasn't to happy about staying in that Pokeball that whole time.
