Ok, scenario submission time. I'm not 100% sure on the results of this(like..99.2%). But I made up something, so others can use.. this thing.. I made up.. *rambles*

All secondary effects occur, if possible
    Bibarel , Male, Unaware
    Wigglytuff, Female, Cute Charm

    Bibarel 100% (+1 Def)
    Wigglytuff 75% (Sub/+1 Atk/+1 Def)

    Bibarel uses Waterfall
    Wigglytuff uses Wake-Up Slap

Bulbapedia is alright, though for the most part Smogon is a more reliable source, as I continually tell people. Not only that, but Bulbapedia has updated all their information so that the default (sidebar) lists Gen V mechanics, which at present do not reflect the URPG. Smogon remains at Gen IV.

I meant when Yawn is first used in a turn, then Safeguard, Safeguard does not prevent the Yawn'd Pokemon from falling asleep. If Safeguard is used, then the opponent uses Yawn, Yawn will fail.

    This is correct.

Maybe toolbar was the wrong word, I meant searchbar. http://www.smogon.com/search/plugin

I just made a list for myself of things to remember for my next try at the test. Hopefully it will help some people.

    REMEMBER
    1. Leech Seed heals HP not Percent.
    2. Be careful with turn duration.
    3. Recoil doesn’t happen against Sub
    4. Sub blocks some stuff you might not think of.
    5. Ghosts prevent Normal/Fighting
    6. Multi-hit moves are rolled with an 8 sided die (I think)
    7. Burn is 12.5%
    8. DOUBLE CHECK ABILITIES AND MOVES IF SUSPICIOUS

Correction with number 3, there is no Life Orb recoil when attacking a Substitute. Things like Brave Bird and Take Down recoil still exist when attacking a Sub. You are right about 6. Each side of the die represents 12.5%, and the number of hits multi-hit moves do are determined by multiples of 12.5%. Everything you need to know about Substitute can be found here, you don't need to memorize it, just be able to look it up when you are unsure:

Here is info on a typical multi-hit move:

Pretty much my reaction when I learned about this.

Question: With moves that occur over a duration of turns such as sleep status, how do you roll those?

Usually, I would do a roll of a 4-sided die with the number of turns equaling the dice roll + 1 (for instance, a roll of 2 would equal 3 turns), but I'm pretty sure there's a better way? Have I been doing it wrong?

Why do you need to +1?

Just 4 sided, and the dice represents the turn.

    Taunt: Roll a 3-sided die, 1 equals 3 turns, 2 equals 4 turns, 3 equals 5 turns.
    Encore: Roll a 5-sided die, 1 equals 4 turns, 2 equals 5 turns, 3 equals 6 turns, 4 equals 7 turns, 5 equals 8 turns.

Just follow the pattern from there on to apply to similar moves.

I was actually trying to state a kind of formula or something, but yeah, this helps a lot. Thanks!

    I have a question.
So, say, the Pokemon has been sapped by Leech Seed. That would be deducting 12.5% of the max HP, right? So, do you have to calculate how much you should deduct, or just type, "-12.5%" in the box (this calculator), then click the green button?
I'm practicing before I try to take the quiz (which would only happen after a long time.. But, still it's fun to try "reffing your own battle", especially when the result you get matches the real ref's result.)

You can just do -12.5%. But to add back the health to the Leech Seed user, you'd have to take the max hp of the seeded mon and divide it by 8. For example, if your seeded mon is a Mew, you take 404/8, and you should get 50.5. URPG always round down, so it becomes 50 HP. That will be the HP that you're deducting each turn (50 HP = 12.5% of Mew), and the HP that you will add to the Leech Seed user each turn.

Many people simply add 12.5% to the Leech Seed user instead, which is wrong, since Leech Seed saps 12.5% of the seeded mon's health, so simply deducting 12.5% of the Leech Seed user would be incorrect.
