Mentor/Apprentice Program 2.0 (NEWBIES COME HERE)

That's right, ladies and gents, it's back. I've talked to Harry and Scourge sama, and they seem to think this is a good idea, soooo.... How many of you loyal URPGers would like to pass on your skills to the next generation? How many newbies are feeling a little bit lost and confused and would like someone to show them how things around here work? This is the place for you! Here's where you can apply to be a mentor or apprentice.

In order to be a mentor you must have the following qualities:

• Been a member at least 6 months
• Have a profession or other notable achievement
• Be kind/easy going/patient/good with younger people
• Be approved by one of the approvers
• Have an Instant Messenger (preferably AIM)

As for newbies, obviously there are no requirements! The only thing I ask is that you either be younger than 6 months, or joined for only a few days, then left and came back (as I've seen happen a few times). While all are welcome, apprentices that meet these requirements will take priority with mentor selection. Here are the application forms:

After filling out this form and submitting it, one of our lovely approvers (and you know how great Chainy looks in a dress or Scourge does in a tux) will decide if you're eligible to be a mentor or apprentice and approve you. Once you're accepted, you can contact a mentor/apprentice and see if they'll agree to be your partner. Then both of you post below, and that'll get approved too. Here's out list of Approvers:

Alaska, I have a question. Is this shiz explaining the whole URPG to newbs or just teaching them how to battle/RP/write/coordinate well? I would like to join if the former (battling and coordinating areas of interest hint hint)

It's both. A mentor is someone who will explain the URPG to the younger newbies and then start to teach them about their area of expertise, so what they taught you would depend on your mentor I suppose.

I've helped out quite a few people so far, including some vets, and I like to pass knowledge on. Also, I do look pretty damn fine in a dress, even if I do say so myself
