I was just interested in everyone's interests.

I enjoy the competitive aspect of it.

Started in ASB battling so I bend over and grab ankles for Pokemon forum RP battles, basically.

I personally think that the URPG has strength in that it utilizes both, so you can go for whichever option you feel like at the moment; it doesn't have to be the same thing all the time.

Also, setting up the battles over AIM is a slick idea. Gets things moving fairly quickly. 'tis a shame the refs are stretched a bit thin at the moment.

I like battling but I also like making strong bonds with my Pokemon because I believe that is the most powerful thing you can achieve in the Pokemon universe! :crush:

I used to enjoy battling a lot earlier on (I still do, not that much though), but ever since the Park opened, I've been more interested in it, both as a Trainer and a Ranger.

Not interested in Stories though :p

Competing, NP/Stories are a roadblock preventing me from doing that, but they need to be there (Well, only one of them does)

I'm liking the battling, but then again I haven't had the time to get involved with creating yet.

Both. Competitiveness and creativeness mixed together in a blender is a smoothie worth drinking. See, only in an RP like this would anyone think of likening a role-playing game to a drink. So that must mean I'm right.

While I'm decent at both, I myself prefer the competitive aspect of the URPG.

Can someone create the same poll on PE2K? I'm interested in the differences between the two forums as well.

For me it was the community. Too bad most of the people I was friends with have left.

Battling, I'm still holding off from the creative side until I have some more time on my hands ;)

My favorite aspect is that it's brought together all the aspects of the games I enjoy. A framework is already in place for the fandom - especially with the stats/damage calculations from the games; rather than being a limiting factor, it allows us a lot of freedom to decide how it all meshes together.

Without the limited movesets of the games, we are able to use less orthodox strategies; with the Stories it allows us to set our own pace with capturing Pokemon; and with the National Park (that I haven't had any experience with yet) it allows us to see the world of Pokemon through our own perspective.
