My favorite part is definitely the stories. Ever since I started writing URPG stories back in 2007, my writing has improved tremendously. There have been so many grades from many authors that have helped me, whether be it advice for grammar or description. Honestly, I wouldn't be half as good as a writer if it wasn't for the URPG: Stories section. Also, I've always liked how piling up numerous captures of different ranks force you to be more creative, more descriptive, and so on.

While I do enjoy the competitive battling, my favorite part definitely has to be the stories and RP. If I wanted to do nothing but battle, I'd just play nothing but SoulSilver.

Stories were the reason I joined, battles were just something on the side to do. I just love trying to create a unique capture attempt to each story.

Competition, but it's also a social activity that brings the forum together. There's also the fun aspect of it, which I believe is what the URPG is all about.

The community is what has caused me to stay, and competitive is pretty cool too.

I really enjoy the battling; it's all I've done so far, and it's been enough to keep me avidly returning. I suspect, though, that I'd eventually get tired and leave if it weren't for the people and the National Park. I love the community, and being able to play with them with the aid of a smoothly-run system is really nice.

I won't vote for a favorite just yet, 'cause I love it all. =D

A combination of the combat and the community. Some really cool people play this game, and it's enjoyable chatting with them/pounding them into the ground/getting pounded into the ground by them. I like stories, but I need just the right combination of inspiration and motivation to write and I can never seem to get it.

If I thought of that as an option, I would of voted that instead of competing probably.

I happen to love the fact that I can write stories and prosper from them, but also read the works of others. It is the most entertaining thing reading how different people view catching pokemon. There are just so many different perspectives out there that I would never think of, but I can read them and try to incorporate elements into my stories. It just helps everything grow.

I guess it's a combination of everything that keeps me coming back. Sheep are social creatures, and I enjoy you guys. I have so many fond and inappropriate memories in FFAs. :3

I was never a big fan of the competitive battling scene, so in my first few weeks of URPGing I managed to fail pretty hard several times. I think I've gotten a lot better at everything but at the same time I know I still have a lot to learn and that's kind of an exciting feeling I guess, because I tend to get bored with things easily.

Plus I like helping newbies with the basics, and then dying a bit inside when a month later they've made more progress than I have. :'D

I like battling. I have yet to do national park and stuff. But I battled, and it was awesome. (Even though I only battle twice, and lot both) :)

The battling is great, but being able to show off your talent and creativity in stories is the best.:spin:
Although showing your talent in battles is almost as good. How could a moronic imbecile (like all of you guys:p) get a STEELIX to be as fast as an ESPEON in a FFA!?
Sorry, it's natural for me to be cruel like this.
