Anyway if we went by how the games did it then we'd have dumb stuff like Ambipom in an Electric gym. If you want a gym where you can use any type, go for an Orange Island Gym. And it doesn't matter how stubborn you are, because you aren't the LO, thereby, you don't make the decisions. :B Viridian is staying a Ground gym and that's that.

 

Even when there may be something stupid like Ambipom in an Electric Gym in the game, the leader or somebody still says something like "I expert in electric type pokemon!" All this is is showing is how ignorant you are and therefore you get a block. :B
