Toxicroak's luck with Swagger and Tyrunt getting boosted by Toxicroak's last swagger were the only things keeping this battle from lasting all night. Spending two minutes to look up what a move does is faster than a full two hours of spamming weak moves, and it wastes less time for your opponent and your ref.

Julio's three biggest issues were not checking the battle size in the rules (checking for Item and Species Clauses can also help with future challenges), using Sunny Day without a Heat Rock in Public sends, and looking at the wrong Raichu's moves. Syn played almost perfectly and was always one reactionary send ahead of Julio thanks to Public Open gyms allowing leaders to send second.
