Welcome to the fourth URPG Ladder Tournament of the URPG. At the bottom of this post, you will find four countdown timers and they dictate the duration of each week. Week 1 will start on Apr 20, 2013, 6:00 AM (GMT+8). Refer to the timers for an accurate gauge. Each week will automatically start at the given time in the timers. You don't have to wait for my post to start a battle in a new week.

In this tournament, you can challenge anyone, but may only battle him/her twice a week. A win nets you 3 points, and a loss gives you 1 point. No points are awarded for draws, but you can choose to battle again. This means that in a single week period, any pair of battlers can earn at most 6 points by battling each other. Just like gym leaders, you cannot deny challenges once you have your first battle in this. Starting from Week 2, this rule only applies to the first battle. The second battle is entirely optional.

Each week have varying rules that restricts the type of Pokemon that you can use. URPG Tier List

Points will be tallied at the end of each week. Any battle that starts during the first week, and runs into the second will count for the second week. And so on and so forth for the third and fourth week.

There are two sets of prizes. One set is for getting the most points/battles reffed in that specific week only. These first set of prizes are the same every week. The second set is for having the most points/battles reffed in all of the weeks. These second set of prizes get bigger each week and give to more people each week.

Just wondering if a battle starts during week 1 but ends during week 2 is it okay that it will still have tier 1 Pokemon?

 

This is what I was going to ask. Seems more fair to just null any battles that aren't completed within the timeframe, personally.

Zoned (Sharpedo, Drapion, Donphan) vs Dog of Hellsing (Nidoking, Serperior, Gorebyss)

Zoned started off with the lead, Sharpedo crippling Nido before it was KO'd by Serp. Drapion took down both Serperior and eventually Nidoking, but Gorebyss outsped the rest of Zoned's team. Gorebyss took out Drapion and eventually Donphan. Jess had some bad rolls but she still held her ground. Good game!

Winter was in control. Her super-effective moves were perfect counters to basically all of Zoned's mons. Whimsicott wasn't even needed, as Mamo took out Drapion and almost Empoleon before it died. Then Conk cleaned up. Good game!

Winter was in control. Again. Jolt nabbed an unexpected KO on Golem and took out Dragonite's Multiscale, which allowed for Mamoswine to sweep the rest until the very end. Blastoise took out Mamo, which allowed for Jolteon to come in and use Tbolt for the KO. Good game!
