    I don't think that we can do one thing or the other here. You can't just say "No renting duplicates!" because of mons like Rotom who have multiple formes. But you also can't say "Yeah, everyone gets 3 Kingdra!" because it totally takes advantage of the opponent. If you have a mon with only one counter, and you have 3 of them, it gets a bit unfair.

    I would suggest maybe being able to have one rented duplicate per team? And imo, to rent a duplicate, you should have at least 1 of said mon owned already.

    If that doesnt work, then maybe we can just run it by Stinky, sort of like we do with WCs? Before having a duplicate, we just ask him if its a suitable one, and he says yay or nay.

    Just my opinion...don't hurt me please.

    I don't really see how having the same species can be unfair. At most, you're just putting yourself at a disadvantage if your opponent decides to take advantage of the fact that you're using the same Pokemon twice.

    ^ This, pretty much.

    Seriously, if you used 3 of the same mon in a 3v3 match as people have said, that allows your opponent to have 3 Pokemon centered around countering the duplicate mon. In that case, I'd WANT my opponent to spam duplicates.

    What this dude said right ^, you should listen ;), but, if you want to be dumb and add 3/4 Kingdra/Bronzong/Aero/some other overrated mon, then go for it. It just makes it easier for the challenger. Also, if they want to have that many duplicates, I think they should own it like Ebail said.

    Time for massive overhaul...

    My dojo lineup is now:

    Jynx F, Walrein F, Lapras F, Glaceon F, Empoleon M *WC* (O) Froslass F, Mamoswine M, Abomasnow M (R)

    I think I have the number of rentals right..call me out on it if I don't.


    EDITED: I believe that I have the right numbers of rentals and owned mons now. Either way, that's my lineup now.
