I took over for Lovecraft cos he was tired. But if there was Paralysis that could happen, it did. And my dice cackled whenever I rolled a fully paralyzed, because it was often. Kers had the game, but MegaLuc got paralyzed against Snorlax. And then very long stall happened as Zam tried to overcome Snorlax, only it didn't go over well. Snorlax didn't get paralyzed enough, and even with Reflect up, it did enough to Zam to make it hard to keep up with Recovers. Finally, a Yawn+Protect worked for Lax without paralyze, and Reflect ended. Return KO'd after that.

Was pretty close, all things considered. Typings and match-ups were learned. Some moves used that they didn't have on both sides. There was a particularly long stall portion between Rotom and Gastro that gained nobody anything and I'd rather not talk about it. Venusaur went through 2.5 mons and Clefable did well against Politoed but didn't get attract hax enough. Jumpluff couldn't do much to Aggron.

Stop the presses; Monbrey's battling. Back and froth battle until the end, really. Volcarona handled Sableye but went down to Tyranitar. Blaziken finished Ttar but was wiped by Starmie, but not after doing a ton of damage with Knock Off. Then Arcanine came in to scare Starmie out into Liepard, but since Felly sent first, Monbrey just sent in Charizard with Megastone to avoid the Trick Scarf. Liepard locked itself into Thunder Wave so when Starmie swapped back in, Arcanine did too. Two Extremespeeds finished.

Syn: Scizor, Beedrill, Galvantula, ???
Maxie: Rampardos, Drapion, Crobat, Masquerain

Maxie did fairly well, since Rampardos at +2 is pretty scary. Scizor still beat it, but Drapion got a crit through Iron Defense to KO and took a chunk out of Beedrill. Crobat finished that, but got severely damaged by Knock Off. It did a heavy chunk to Galvantula, just doing shy enough to not activate Galvantula's Sitrus Berry. Crobat lived a Charge Beam but not a Sucker Punch. Masquerian was maybe not the best choice to take on Galvantula at +1 Special Attack, since it easily 2HKO'd with Discharge.
