Maxie: Rampardos, Archeops, Haxorus, Flygon, Machamp, Vanilluxe

Randoms. It went back and forth until DR rolled Snorlax. That thing is always nasty in randoms. It didn't help that Maxie got some bad match-up rolls, and then when Machamp finally came out, Snorlax didn't smack and then Machamp got flinched by a Zen Headbutt on the next turn from its lowered speed. Vanilluxe couldn't do much either.

DR: Blastoise, Flareon, Hitmontop, Vaporeon, Greninja, ???
Maxie: Rampardos, Camerupt, Machamp, Vanilluxe, Lanturn, Houndoom

Randoms round two. Maxie didn't get very good rolls at the start either, rolling two mons weak to Blastoise. However, Camerupt lived the Surf by 2 thanks to Solid Rock, which allowed it to get a Yawn off. Then Machamp came in and got a bunch of damage off to finish Blastoise, but not before taking a Hydro Pump. That left enough room for Flare Blitz from Flareon to KO, now that it's not entirely useless 2 Gens too late. Then more bad luck happened for Maxie, who rolled Vanilluxe. Finally, Lanturn was rolled after that, killing off Flareon with Surf. Hitmontop came out, and then Lanturn started to turn things around, Paralyzing and Confusing Hitmontop, allowing it to get an Aqua Ring and some Stockpiles up. Then Vaporeon came in, and it managed to stall a bit with Toxic long enough to take Lanturn down. Not without taking a bit of damage, though. Houndoom was Maxie's last Pokemon. It took down Vaporeon but lost to Greninja. Was a pretty intense match toward the end.

Tyrantrum got a Dragon Dance up, and even though it missed Head Smash once, that didn't discourage it from sweeping. Surprisingly, Linoone could take a hit, but Play Rough didn't KO by just a little bit.

Maxie: Archeops, Lanturn, Hydreigon, Masquerain,

A bad type match-up scared Archoeps out right away with U-turn, sending in Lanturn against Cloyster instead. Cloyster got up a layer of Toxic Spikes while Lanturn charged, and then Rock Blast only made a tiny dent before Charge+Discharge KO'd. Then Kabutops came in, but Ancient Power didn't do enough. Charge+Discharge KO'd that too. Politoed was rolled after that, bringing in the rain. It put Lanturn to sleep with Hypnosis, but that didn't last long, as it woke up and used Aqua Ring as Politoed used Bounce. Discharge got the PRZ on the following turn, and then Charge let another finish it off. DR's bad luck with rolls continued because next came Blastoise. However, it managed to take a hit, Toxic Lanturn, and eventually took it down. Hydreigon came out next, avoiding the Toxic Spikes with Levitate. Hydra finished Blastoise, and then Greninja was rolled. It didn't have a lot to hit Hydra with, though, so Hydra KO'd Greninja too. Jolteon was the last of DR's mons, and it managed to take down Hydra after a Confusion smack. Masquerain was sent out next. It didn't get to do much, since after a Quiver Dance, it was still slower than Jolt. Camerupt came out after that, and even with some Charm and Magnet Rise stuff, Camerupt stayed with it and finished Jolt off.

It went on for a loooong time because Blastoise was staying in on Cradily who had a few Amnesias up. It was doing literally 10 damage. Then finally Lapras came in to Haze after Cradily got Frozen, but that didn't last long. Lapras went down as Cradily defrosted, but Greninja beat it eventually. Then Ditto came in and KO'd the rest of DR's team except for Jolteon, but Mamoswine finished that easily.

There was much internet hate as it hiccuped for both battlers. Victrebel also got paralyzed early and was missing powders. However, Linoone got up a Belly Drum and that helped Eridanus quite a bit, and then Victrebel finally landed a Sleep Powder on Aegislash so Greninja could chip away at it.

It was pretty back and forth until the final match up. Tie probably would've had it with Blaziken vs. Lapras, but Fire Spin missed as Lapras Dragon Danced. Then, Waterfall didn't kill, and Blaze got a bit hit off with Sky Uppercut. Quick Attack would've KO'd since Ice Shard didn't, but Blaziken got paralyzed, so DR was able to KO on the turn after.

It started out kinda rocky for Felly, but Cradily managed to take out Tentacruel, and then Greninja was doing some work. However, Starmie lived a Dark Pulse and managed to steal Protean with Skill Swap. As Greninja tried to Toxic Azumarill, not changing types let Focus Punch destroy Gren. Mienshao managed to Toxic Stall Azu into KO range, but Hannah's Greninja outsped it in the end.
