Hushie: Drifblim, Ninetales, Lilligant, Togekiss
Ash: Ninetales, Tropius, Charizard, Venusaur

Both brought sun teams. This was actually a pretty good match. First turn Drifblim got Will-o-Wisped, so it was widdled down as Ninetales used Flame Charge a few times. Togekiss came in next, and those to hit each other a few times before Togekiss got a rise off of Ancient Power and then KO'd with Extremespeed. Then, Charizard came in, and Hushie forgot about Solar Power, so when going for the flinch because AP didn't quite KO by a few HP, it didn't work. Thankfully, Lilligant came in to Sleep Powder. Charizard got a full turn sleep count, but Leech Seed missed, so when it woke, Lilligant couldn't quite do enough to KO. As it Teeter Danced, Charizard killed it with Fire Blast. Then, Hushie figured he'd lost. Ninetales came in and used Nasty Plot, but when Charizard tried to Roost, it smacked! Solar Power took it down. Venusaur came in next and tried to put Ninetales to sleep, but my dice felt merciful today, so because Leech Seed had missed for Hushie earlier, Sleep Powder now missed for Ash. That let Flamethrower OHKO, and then Ninetales outsped and OHKO'd Tropius too.

SLC did alright for a while, despite the lefties and Roost stalling which was super annoying, waiting for Parahax on Charizard. Then Scizor set up on a Scarfed Ditto-Mence using Outrage so then it was awful and SLC eventually scooped.

WeTastePies... Vs. Airik

WTP: Venomoth, Arcanine, Accelgor, Azumarill
Airik: Infernape, Aerodacyl, Ludicolo, Ninetales

WTP did part of this mobile too. Basic stuff. Arcanine absorbed the first turn Flare Blitz from Nape against Venomoth and then dueled for a little bit with Aerodacyl who eventually took it down. Accelgor took out Infernape with Final Gambit after that. On the double down, WTP sent Azu and Airik sent Ludi, so it was scared out to Venomoth on the Energy Ball. After a bit Venomoth passed out to Azumarill who dueled with Ludicolo but then lost. Then, as Ludicolo put up rain again, Venomoth Roosted. That was when the cool thing happened. Venomoth used Skill Swap and then threatened to KO. Unfortunately, Airik still had a send left, so he sent Ninetales in to change the weather and that stopped that. Skill Swap was still the most awesome thing that happened all match though.

The usual type advantage stuff, so nothing too major to report. I did, however, see the most damage done to a Grass-type with an Electric attack by Zebstrika. It had a +1 boost to SpAtk because of LightningRod, had a Charge up, and had an Electric Gem. Thunder did a lot.

Long battle, mostly due to each of us brbing at multiple points in it. WTP did this amazing thing with Gluttony Lax and KO'd Blaziken, and that probably made my night. Other than that, WTP chipped away at Ash's team until it was Crobat and Gengar up against Eelektross. Zap Cannon hit, and there were some bad Sleep Talk rolls, but Specs Gengar was waiting in the wings to clean up anyway.

Liam: Starmie, Arcanine, Hydreigon, Kabutops

Close match. Darmanitan took a surf from Hydreigon and U-turned out to Gyarados. Gyara chipped away at Hydreigon with +1 Waterfall until he KO'd. Then, Jolt swapped back in on the Extremespeed from Arcanine only to Volt Switch out and pass in Gyarados for some Intimidate action before becoming death fodder. Jolt was free to come back in after that to attack. Kabutops swapped into a Thunderbolt and only got off an Aqua Jet before going down. Jolt also got a good amount of damage off on Arcanine before going down. Darmanitan came back in to KO, only to be return KO'd by Starmie. Then it was just Breloom left. Breloom put Starmie to sleep, used Swords Dance, and KO'd with Seed Bomb while Starmie dozed off.

Pretty close match really. Whim was chased out by Staraptor into Metagross, who then used Final Gambit and took care of that. Espeon Charm'd Tauros and tried to set up and pass to Starmie, but Ataro was waiting and had Ditto for that. Whim also tried to do some stall at the end, but Tauros broke out of confusion to KO both Whim and the limping Espeon.

It was pretty close the entire game. There was a point at which Encore from Airik would've won him it, but he didn't realize it. The key thing happened at the end with Swellow Vs. Ferrothorn. Instead of Roosting on the Thunderbolt, Ataro decided to go for the kill with Heat Wave. It missed. Thunderbolt KO'd
