They were both rolling randoms, but BT's were pretty terrible matchups. Archeops wrecked stuff for a while, Magcargo was setting up against Snivy but Tyranitar coming in caused BT to forfeit.

Airik: Excadrill, Jellicent, Sceptile, [Volcarona]

Airik had some unlucky dice rolls heres, but overall had the better matchups. Excadrill came out dealing heavy Steel damage to Abomasnow and Walrein, but switched out to avoid Surf. Walrein and Jellicent stalled it out for a while, Walrein managing to force Jelli out. However Sceptile was able to clean up fairly easily from there, winning a speed tie against it's impostor to do so.

Synthesis vs SLCalamity

Synthesis: Gardevoir, Dedenne, Granbull, Whimsicott, Clefable
SLCalamity: Dragonite, Haxorus, Garchomp, Goodra, Salamence

Given that this was a practice with intentionally bad mono-type matchups, SLC didn't do too badly. Dragonite was the star performer, dealing some real heavy damage to Gardevoir with Draco Meteor.

But seriously, SLC did reasonably well, making use of Iron Tail, Bulldoze, and Goodra switching into Energy Ball with Sap Sipper, and using Sludge Bomb. But overall Syn maintained the upper hand, and Salamence's lack of move coverage resulted in SLC forfeiting with time running out.

Tyranitar didn't stand up against Mr Mime all that well, thanks to its new Fairy typing. Walrein and Ampharos couldn't do much either, but Delphox's resistance to Fairy and Psychic managed to really give Mega Gardevoir some trouble. Overall Maxie did well, but Synthesis kept the upper hand.

I have no idea if this was actually randoms or not. Flareon proved quite deadly with Flash Fire Flare Blitz. Stoutland continually switched in and out with Intimidate and did a lot of persistent damage. Felly battled well, but BT stayed ahead to win.

Aipom looked like it was setting up for some good play, Baton Passing SP.A+2 and SPE+4 to Glalie, while Beedrill set up ATT+2 and SPE+4 to try and counter. Then, Glalie's Moody lost it a Speed boost. It then spent way more turns than it deserved successfully Protecting to try and get that boost back, but it was no use. Beedrill swept with some clever Fell Stinger play to finish with ATT+6 and SPE+4.

Snivy wasn't the best lead, and allowed Gyarados to set up two Dragon Dances without taking much damage. However a lack of EM's allowed Lanturn to KO it with little fuss. The rest of Maxie's team couldn't do much to damage Metagross, especially with a lucky freeze chance on Haxorus. Metagross swept to win.

Dewgong held Ludicolo off for a little bit, but Giga Drain took it out. Scizor then came is and despite missing Froslass several times, generally wrecked things. Pman really didn't have any dice rolls go his way, and Metagross cleaned up.
