Synthesis: Alakazam, Cloyster, Accelgor, Oricorio-Cheer, Luxray, Pachirisu
Xali: Manectric, Crobat, Sceptile, Charizard, Alolan Raichu, Froslass

Competitve randoms and a great match to ref.
Depsite Syn losing Alakzam early, Accelgor was up to its usual annoying tricks, constantly returning to the field for extra damage and clean up KOs.
Xali's Charizard landed an Inferno after waking from sleep as it attempted to take down Luxray.
In the end, it was lame Hypnosis hax intricately clever strategies from Xali's Crobat that won the match,
correctly predicting a Final Gambit from Accelgor and getting a Nasty Plot up when the attack boost from Berserk Gene was lost

SinnohEevee vs Juliorain

SinnohEevee: Glaceon, Heracross, Venusaur, Sylveon, Jolteon, Charizard
Juliorain: Clefable

This was harder fought than the one sided log might suggest.
SinnohEevee didn't get a good start, with Heracross unable to do much damage to Clefable while it setup.
Sylveon almost looked like turning things back, however the speed rolls went in Julio's favour and it was shutdown by Encore.
The advantage Julio had build up for Clefable eventually proved too much, his careful healing and good coverage winning the day.

SinnohEevee: Arcanine, Roserade, Jolteon, Charizard, Parasect, Gardevoir,
Ash K: Sceptile, Scizor, Gorebyss, Nidoking

What a mess.
Arcanine, Roserade, Sceptile, Scizor and Gorebyss constantly switched in and our to avoid super effective attacks
Ash managed to keep SPE+2 while Baton Passing around, but Arcanine's appearances resulted in ATT-2 also.
Eventually Ash broke the switch cycle by bringing in Nidoking, and SinnohEevee lost a few mons here when the turn order wasn't in his favour.
A Shell Smashed Gorebyss looked like it was going to sweep up the rest, but some good calls and dice rolls in SE's favour saw Arcanine and Gardevoir regaining some ground.
In the end though it wasn't enough, and Ash's Scizor finished off.

Leader Morru: Houndoom, Infernape, Blaziken

Challenger SinnohEevee: Primarina, Gyarados, Charizard, Clefable, Gardevoir, Espeon

Primarina was played smart to avoid triggering Weakness Policy, however setting up Rain isn't as useful if you can't use Water moves.
Gyarados ignored the Weakness Policy and went for Water attacks, luckily this also resulted in ACC-6 and Hounoom missed back-to-back Thunder Fangs to get KO'd.
Charizard was stuck between being hit by Ground if it Mega evolved, or getting hit by Rock if it didn't. It survived Rock Tomb to deal impressive damage with Air Slash to Infernape, but was taken out.
From here, Blaziken did Blaziken things and cleaned up pretty much everything else.

First-send switches allowed him free reign to set up with Blaziken.

vs
Challenger Weirlind120: Miltank, Talonflame, Gengar, Metagross (Mega), Rotom-Wash, Venusaur

This was a cool battle to ref. Weir's Miltank lead had to flee from Mega Lucario, and this made it feel like Weir was a step behind.
However on paper the KO's remained even for a lot of this match, with Will-o-Wisp put to good use to neutralise Neon's attackers.
The tail end of the battle saw a bit of stalling as Venusaur managed to set up Sun and get a boosted Growth and Synthesis and Ferrothorn and Empoleon.
Despite the good setup, Empoleon's Yawn forced Venusaur out, bringing Rotom-Wash back in. Rotom's Red Card gave Mega Lucario a free ticket back into the battle.
After Countering Hammer Arm to eliminate Mega Metagross, Weir forfeited.

Pretty hard fought battle, both against each other and Fabled against my dice.
Aero started out with the flinch against Infernape, who switched out in favour of Swampert to take it down.
Crobat then Air Slash'd Swampert for another three flinches, eventually KOing it.
Jolteon missed it's first Thunder, but took out Crobat with the next.
Nidoqueen was the key player for Fabled to turn this back around.
Especially when just as it looked like Alolan Raichu was ready to take it out, it tried to do so with... Thunderbolt.
