Clefable was taunted by Crobat first turn, who was then switched to Metagross. Despite the Special Attack rises from Clefable's Charge Beam, Metagross KO'd it in a few turns with Meteor Mash, gaining an Attack rise, and Hammer Arm. After using Agility to counter the speed drop, Metagross persisted in Thunderpunching Vaporeon, slowly KOing it while it uses Acid Armor and healed with Aqua Ring. Zen Headbutt brough Poliwrath down to 1/16th health, who managed to get Hypnosis to hit, putting Meta to sleep. Switching back to Crobat ended the battle next turn.

Espeon vs Machoke? Obvious who's going to win there right? Psychic brough Machoke down to 4%, where a No Guard/Dynamic Punch hit and confused Espeon. Smack. Cross Chop. Smack. Cross Chop. Espeon at 7%. Finally Quick Attack got through, and out came Clefable. Smack, KO. Clefable's Ice Beam finished of Garchomp.

Elrond 2.0: Gyarados, Infernape, Rhyperior
Shinies: Infernape, Alakazam, Tyranitar

Infernape got in on Gyarados with a Fake Out and Will-o-Wisp, took a hit from Aqua Tail, then U-Turned to Alakazam, who's Hidden Power type proved remarkably useful against Gyarados. Elrond's Infernape came in and got hit by Psychic, allowing Flame Wheel to almost KO Alakazam with Blaze. Mach Punch finished next turn. Shinies's Infernape returned, uses Fake Out to KO Elrond's. Rhyperior entered, getting hit with Will-o-Wisp, a smart move that only just prevents EQ from KOing Infernape. Rock Polish next turn gave it the speed edge required to KO Infernape before it go KO'd itself. However with 5% HP remaining, Tyranitar had no trouble and wrapped up.

Xalapeno: Electrode, Sceptile, Metagross, Jolteon
iReign: Alakazam, Scizor, Infernape, Salamence

Pretty amusing battle. Alakazam stood up well at the start, nulling a bunch of switches and setting up Reflect. Pokemon went blow for blow for a while as they switched through. Alakazam switched back into Jolteon's Thunder for an instant KO. Jolteon and Scizor got kinky, using Attract on each other. Scizor then managed to Baton Pass a Sub to Salamence. Apparently this angered Jolteon, as it Roared for it's lover to return, and so the Attraction began again. A domestic saw two Charge Beams finish of Scizor, and a rather effective Hidden Power OHKO Salamence, thanks to a Sp.A rise. With only Infernape against all 4 of Xali's Pokemon, iReign forfeited.

Switch to Flygon, Discharge fail. Electivire switches to Gengar. Gets hit by Dragon Claw. Crunch doesn't quite KO, then Flygon got put to sleep. Dream Eater? I think not. Switch. Aqua Jet KO's Gengar before Lapras is put to sleep too. Flygon returns to null Electivire's Discharges, but was still asleep, only managing one Earthquake before Electivire's Low Kicks KO'd it. Aqua Jet from Lapras was enough to finish again though.

Kinda a slow battle. Togekiss switched in, raised Sp.A and Softboiled while flinch-haxxing Metagross, but an unlucky Air Slash miss allowed Metagross to KO Togekiss. As Umbreon came out, Metagross switched to Electivire. Umbreon Acc-haxxed and Tox-haxxed, proving effective as a Discharge missed, though another did paralyze. Umbreon tried twice to Moonlight, paralyzation preventing it, but Toxic soon did the job anyway. Metagross came back and finished Umbreon off with Meteor Mash.

After some first turn confusion, Seaking was put to sleepm, forcing a switch to Jynx, who Psychic 2HKO'd Roserade. Ludicolo came out, getting Swift Swim boost and spammed Energy Ball for a while. Lapras was switched in, managing to paralyze Ludicolo with 100% accurate Thunder, then started some Hail. Cradily replaced Ludicolo when it was eventually KO'd, boosting defences and whittling down Arcanine's health, only to eventually be KO'd by Reversal. Derian strategized how to beat Breloom... and got Mach Punched before making a move. With only a sleeping Seaking left, Derian forfeited.
