All was quiet on the field. The combatants began to prepare for a final assault, all but one. That one, a dark moon-light Pokemon, charged full-body at another Pokemon. However, there was very little effect.

Suddenly, there was a massive explosion of fire and shrapnel. The ballroom dancer went down to its knee, but quickly recovered.

The Referee whooped with glee at the pillar of rising fire, then tossed down another primed bomb. The dark black Pokemon picked it up in its mouth, glaring wickedly at its foes.

Serperior uses Swords Dance!
Lucario uses Nasty Plot!
Gardevoir uses Heal Bell!
Umbreon uses Double Edge on Lucario!
Umbreon is hurt by recoil!

Gardevoir's Wish comes true!
The Bomb explodes on Gardevoir!

And then, the Pokemon leapt to action! The snake, using its tail like a broadsword, hacked and slashed at the ballroom dancer. However, it was revealed that it wasn't the ballroom dancer at all, but an identical fake! The real foe was revealed, and boy was it not happy.

Almost at the same time, a blue, fox-like Pokemon started to meditate. Then, suddenly, it sprung up, holding a glowing ball of energy in its paws. Using the Aura, the Pokemon locked on to the moonlight Pokemon, and launched its attack. The dark black Pokemon went down and collapsed on its four knees.

The Referee barely had time to send the knocked out Pokemon below, before a giant explosion of energy echoed through the arena. At first, he thought it was one of his Bombs. Then, after remembering that the Bomb had been diffused when it was sent down with the unconscious Pokemon. The ballroom dancer had gathered and fired a massive blast of concentrated energy, but had misfired, causing the explosion.

The Referee shook his head. He primed another Bomb and tossed it into the fray. The fox-like Pokemon, sensing the new weapon, immediately raced to pick it up. However, the snake was faster. The grassy snake began to toss the Bomb with its tail, ready to attack.

TURN 22

There were three left, fighting fiercely to be the last one standing. The grassy snake, the Aura fox and the ballroom dancer faced off, and readied themselves to attack.

The grassy snake was fastest and, with a quick flick of its tail, launched the Bomb to the ballroom dancer. The ballroom dancer completely ignored the Bomb resting at the base of its flowing dress, and instead began to prepare a massive blast of pure energy to fire at the Aura fox.

However, the fox-like Pokemon, using the power of the Aura, managed to see what its foe was preparing. In response, it launched a massive mental barrage of dark, spiteful thoughts. The ballroom dancer quickly fell to its knees, unable to surmount the attack.

With a flick of a lever, the knocked out Pokemon, its enraged Trainer, and the still-ticking Bomb all vanished below the floor of the arena. The Referee then primed a new Bomb, tossing it down into the duel. The grassy snake, once again, picked up the explosive with its tail.

It was down to the final two.

The Referee watched in anticipation as the final two combatants faced off. The grassy snake lunged, wielding its tail like a sword. However, the fox-like Pokemon used the Aura to detect its foe's attacks and, deftly, leapt out of the way at the last second.

Suddenly, the grassy snake lunged forward. However, it stopped short and simply tossed the Bomb to the fox-like Pokemon, as if playing catch. The fox Pokemon, though, was not amused. It seemed to go into a trance state, as a large ball of floating energy began to condense in front of it. Using the Aura to guide its aim, the Pokemon launched the attack. The grassy snake managed to avoid taking damage. It's stunt double, however, was not quite so lucky and shattered into a million brightly colored pieces.

TURN 25-26

The final stage of the duel. One Trainer, feeling uneasy, ordered her Pokemon to protect itself. Almost immediately, a wondrous wall of light appeared around the grassy snake. Instead of attacking, however, the fox-like Pokemon simply thought evil thoughts, preparing to strike.

And then, there was an earth-shattering kaboom, the likes of which left a crater of acrid, purple goo sizzling in the wake of the explosion. However, the fox-like Pokemon was completely unharmed by the vicious poison, much to the awe of the opposing Trainer.

The fox wasn't done, either. It began to gather energy from the Aura around it, building up the most massive ball of pure, pulsing energy that anyone had ever seen before. Seeing complete destruction in its near future, the grassy snake began to sway and move its head, body and tail in the most seductive, captivating manner possible.

For a few seconds, nothing happened. The fox kept gathering energy. Then, it opened its eyes and stared at the grassy snake. It appeared to have worked!

Then, there was a sound like the wind rushing by a car window at 90 miles per hour. The Aura Pokemon, after taking careful mental, physical, and aural aim, launched the ball of fighting energy. The blow hit the grassy snake hard, catching it off guard. It fell to the ground, Knocked Out.

With a flick of a lever, the grassy snake and its Trainer both fell through a trap door in the floor, vanishing from sight. Meanwhile, the Referee made his way down to the arena to crown the victor. The Trainer seemed exhausted, but he managed to croak out a few words.

"Lucario's a Female."

Serperior uses Protect!
Lucarion uses Nasty Plot!

The Bomb explodes on Lucario!
But it has no affect...

Serperior uses Attract!
But it failed!
Lucario uses Aura Sphere on Serperior!
