Also, I noticed that next to Oshawott's health it says [FE]. What does [FE] mean?

 

It means Oshawott's Critical hit ratio has been boosted. FE stands for Focus Energy.

One question swift, do fainted Pokemon earn experience?

 

So the "Next Up" was actually directed to EmpireCrusher because he had to replace his fainted Pokemon. You can't switch into a new Pokemon while waiting for him to replace. Therefore, Oshawott is still on the field.

To answer your question, Empire, there are no "experience points" in URPG. If a Pokemon evolves once, it needs to battle 7 times before it can evolve. If it evolves twice like Aron or Torchic, it needs 5 to evolve the first time and then another 5 to evolve the second time. You can also choose not to evolve if you like, and leave your Pokemon as it is. Some Pokemon need special items to evolve too (Moon Stone, Razor Fang, Protector, Coronet Stone, Soothe Bell, Cable Link, etc.), but all Pokemon need to have done their battles before they can evolve. Once you've done the required amount of battles for your Pokemon, you wont get paid for 1v1 battles involving that Pokemon anymore. If a Pokemon participates in a battle (even if it faints) it still counts towards the total they need. Hope that helps clear things up!

What I meant was that, since this is Aaron's first battle, does he need 4 more to evolve even though he fainted?

Oh, and I'll fix the 42 thing.

 

Even if a Pokemon faints it still counts towards its total battles. So, yes, Aron only needs 4 more to become Lairon.
