Pidgey calls up a Tail Wind after surviving an Extrasensory from Vulpix, and then switches with Larvitar who takes a Flamethrower and then pummels Vulpix with Earthquake. Rhydon takes Vulpix's place to show off a real Earthquake, only to have Larvitar vanish to reveal Pidgey once again, who Featherdances at Rhydon. Unfortunately for the little bird it doesn't prevent Rhydon mashing him with Stone Edge and then taking Larvitar out with a pair of Earthquakes.

Lanturn keeps Torterra immobilised with the twin powers of love and Confusion, whilst setting up a Stockpile and then firing off a couple of powerful Water moves. Torterra then retreats to allow Dragonair in who, after dancing the Dance of the Dragons strikes with a fairly unreliable Dragon Rush and then finishes with the much more reliable Outrage.
Togekiss comes in next and takes Dragonair down with Air Slash, and is then destroyed by Floatzel. Floatzel tunnels underground to attempt to escape Machamp's fury, but No Guard means that he (somehow) lands a Dynamic Punch and allows Floatzel to kill himself, and then gives Torterra exactly the same treatment.
