HEY, FOR THE RECORD, I'M NOT DEAD YET.

Also, A Nonsensical Story and Imagine That are still in progress; the latter also has a sort of future claim on it by the story queen. Scourge. SHE HAS MARKED IT AS HER OWN AND WE ARE NOT TO MAR ITS BEAUTY. Oh, and Soul Wars was in the WWC last round, and had to be listed as such for graders and 'cause I'm nitpicky and OCD like that, but then I neglected to update its status after it had been eliminated. OOPS. AND THANKS. XD

Truth, I'm still working on my nonsensical story and will edit... a lot, HOWEVER, I have a few questions.

1. Is it the first nonsensical story?
2. Can you follow along? (This is essential since the next part gets... confusing I suppose)

So that's more like what the list looks like now...I think. >_>

It's probably not the FIRST nonsensical story (since there was that one dedicated to HKim, and another one from a long time ago where somebody basically wrote a story saying "gimme a Bidoof"), but it's definitely the first one I've seen of its kind. I haven't seen an Alice in Wonderland parallel yet. As for the other two, I can follow along and do like where it's going, but I have a suggestion. The footnote definitions...I know WHY you put them there, but I see little point in them. All you really need to do is kind of work the details of the definition of the word into the story. Like...it's hard to explain, but kind of describe how the main character sees the item and make it so that the physical features she picks out are integral parts of the definition, and then tell us what the word is.

I hope that wasn't difficult to follow... :/

But yeah, and as for the words that aren't physical objects, they seemed to make enough sense in the context of the sentence to me...yep, that's my two cents on that.

Now I can't show anyone that I secretly wrote the Harry Potter books. I mean, write like J.K. Rowling. 'Course, that's according to Lesson One, which I wrote two years ago, so...

LESSON TWO'S COMING ALONG SLOWER THAN A SNAIL THROUGH MOLASSES. That's normal, for me. xD

Also, Alaska, YOU DID NOT PUT ONE THRILLER REFERENCE IN THE MUSICAL WHEN THE 4CHAN ZOMBIES ATTACKED. I AM DISAPPOINT.

...Not really. It did melt my soul, though. Now I need to reform it so I can WRITE A MIDQUEL THAT INCLUDES ME AND EVERYONE ELSE YOU LEFT OUT. ;P

I'll be editing in each new piece of the Lesson as I get them done; I'm mostly posting this one up here to see if anyone notices any distinct differences between my writing style from 2010 and my style now.

When figuring your character count, do you use with spaces or without spaces? I had my story pegged at 14.5k characters but in the story list thread it's listed as almost 18k.

I literally typed in "Bitches on my dick, patron on ice. Get laid errday nigga" and it said that I write like James Joyce. WOO.

With spaces. Use lots of them. Instead of tab, use spaces. Space is the final frontier, get as much of it as you can.
