Had to roll some Very Big Dice for a Thunder against EVA-1. Other than that, pretty standard stuff for a randoms battle. Bad type matchups and Stealth Rock caused SE to sacrifice Blaziken, and Ditto Baton Passed SPD+2 and Focus Energy to Metagross against Gardevoir and Jolteon.

Drapion got a speed boost and a trio of fairies to slaughter. Pidgeot fell quickly, but Haxorus avenged it with a Dragon Dance and a broad enough moveset to deal with SE's last contenders.

Pichu slapped Aipom around for a while with some really lucky PAR rolls, which was entertaining. Ori didn't have the coverage to deal with Julio's tricks after that; the less-than-ideal type matchups didn't do much in the way of helping, either.

Gold (Electivire, Araquanid, Talonflame, Swampert, Lapras, Ambipom) vs juliorain (Noivern, Mimikyu, Archeops, Tyranitar, Metagross, ???)

This was a really fun, even matchup with lots of pivoting, though both battlers (mostly) put an end to it with a turn of mutual Stealth Rocks. It was pretty even until Lapras got brought in on Stealth Rocks with Metagross for an opponent. An attempted Sing missed, leaving Lapras wide-open for the KO; Araquanid attempted to bring an end to the madness and got flinched for its troubles.

AKA: Gold's revenge. A FRZ roll prevented Cradily from getting basically anything done, and Gold rolled a great team while Julio rolled a decent team that perpetually came in on type disadvantages.

Julio was behind before Dialga even showed up. Jolteon was Xali's primary workhorse, though Alolan Raichu put up a surprisingly strong show.

Drapion got a Fell Stinger in on Gastrodon... and Malamar came in immediately after. SE didn't roll anything that could stand up to a max ATK Drapion. Though his Espeon landed a Sing and a Zap Cannon on the killer scorpion, it was too little, too late.

Sylveon lost a PAR roll and SE’s Charizard lost a speed tie, which didn’t help him in the early game. Charizard set up Sun on Gastrodon and swept, with Gardevoir dealing the coup de grace.
