URPG National Park Halloween Party!​

So, Sam and I, with help from a Dinobot have put together an event – the first of its kind on BMG (for the park anyways). This will take place the day before Halloween, Saturday, October 3o, 2o1o, The chatname and time will be edited in here so stay tuned. As of now, it is still undecided whether or not it will be on AIM or on IRC

Halloween is around the corner! If you haven't picked out a costume for your Pokemon yet, then you're out of luck because they are sold old everywhere... everywhere but here. It just so happens that we have a few costumes that you will be able to obtain. In order to get your hands on one, you must be present. While you are pressing your luck against the other people who, like you, forgot to buy costumes for their Pokemon, you could be checking out the items we have in our inventory. We have brought back old, non-shop items and have even added a few new ones.

Rules for the Auction:

• Minimum bid on Auctions: 1k
• Bids cannot be retracted once placed
• Penalties will be made to those who wreck havoc (What kind of penalties? Try and find out)

To be in this event, you must first sign up in the park if you haven’t already Click

Then, have AIM or be on IRC (which one is still undecided) when the event starts. For those that don't have AIM or can't be on IRC, there may be something in store for you too, who knows.

IMPORTANT: Would you guys prefer AIM or IRC. Post here stating which one you'd prefer. What ever the majority wants is what we'll go with.

New items and their effects

Super Squirt Nozzle: Fix this gadget to the Squirt Bottle (must be owned) to upgrade it to the finest level. With this, you are able to net 3x $1000 Berries in any Berry Patch its used in.

Oak’s Hoax: This little clank should go under any ParkBall/SuperBall. Adds 15% to the final capture rate.

Add this to the abandoned compartment in the back of the PokeDoll to give it life. Throw it at a Pokémon to distract it for an ample amount of time, giving you an open opportunity to attack at full force. Does 15% Damage.

Vespiquen’s Tear: Add this ingredient to your Honey. Enhances your chances to 95%
from the usual 50%.

Dirt Shovel: Creates a Berry Patch (self-explanatory)

Status Smoke Bomb: Inflicts one Status (rolled by Ranger) to the Wild Pokémon encountered, and it’s Eco-Friendly!​

 

I'll be the Surprise Appearance

I will be attending this, so save me some stuff.

 

I should be able to make it. Reason I might not be able to: Paintballing the previous day, upcoming exams, falling asleep.

But I will definitely try my best

 

I'll be really disapointed if there isn't. Because this sounds fun.
Do we buy stuff, or like sprite costumes for out pokemon?

 

I am excited about this. I will be most definitely be attending, unless I don't come. In which case, I won't be attending.

 

You buy some stuff in the auctions, the costumes do something in the park obviously xD, what it does will be revealed on the day of the event.​

I would love to help out with sprite costumes and whatnot, if help is needed. I'm a pretty decent spriter.

I'm a good spriter. Or, at least I think I am. I've been getting better progressively. So, is there spriting that needs to be done?

 

I would love to be here, but it all depends on what time we do this cuz I'll be playing at the Purdue Vs Illinois game on the 30th. I vote for AIM, though.
